(00:26):
It's Tuesday, and we've done this for the last four
weeks or so three weeks something like that. And I
asked and called on you the listener, to share your
testimony because there's nothing more powerful than a Christian testimony,
a story of how God changed someone's life. And if
you feel led by the Holy Spirit to share your testimony,
(00:48):
email the show. Bring Heaven Down number seven at gmail

There is no bad testimony. All testimonies are powerful. All
testimonies will encourage other believers and can change a life.

(01:11):
let's grab our favorite drink or a cup of coffee,
and let's bring Heaven a little closer together. Today's testimony
comes from CCI. It says this, I would like to
(01:31):
start with, I just started listening to your podcast today.
I've been looking for a good Christian podcast I could
listen to in my car or while I work. But
today is special because when he said email me your testimony,
God said to me, tell him. So here I am
telling my testimony for the first time to someone I
don't know. So here we go. Late last year, I
(01:55):
was working at a job that may be miserable and
I did not get a long with the boss, and
the longer I worked there, the worse it got. Now,
I had been talking about looking for a new job
because it just felt like I wasn't meant to be there,
and back then I didn't really understand why I felt
that way, but everything in me told me I need
(02:17):
to get out fast. Forward three weeks after that, I
stopped at a dairy queen to get lunch for me
and my aunt when the district manager asked me if
I was looking for a job, and I jumped at it. Now,
at this point, i'd only spoken to my aunt about
my want for a new job, and here it was
out from the job that made me miserable, so I
(02:38):
applied and got the job. And it doesn't stop there.
The store I was supposed to work at is not
the story I started at. One of the general managers
quit really early one morning, so the GM asked me
if I would train at the different store, and of
course I said yes. And on the second day of training,
(03:00):
she asked me if I wanted to be the GM
at that location, and I said yes. When I got
into my car that day, I looked up and said, Okay, God,
I'm here. What is it that I'm called to do?
God said, be here, and I went without question. December
of that year, I rediscovered my faith and it is
(03:22):
stronger than ever. I connected with people and even helped people.
God called for me to help. I am now at
the location I was supposed to work in the beginning.
But God never stops working in my life, and I
am so blessed to be able to feel God's love.
Looking back, I now know that the reason I was
miserable at the other job is because that wasn't where
(03:42):
I was supposed to be called. And God let what
happened happen so that I would learn to trust God's
plan that he will always look out for me. I
am reminded two Corinthians twelve nine. My grace is enough
for you, and I am so glad that God say
gave me that day in the drive through of Texas
(04:03):
Dairy Queen CC, thank you for sharing that testimony for
the first time, she said, And my overall takeaway and
reaction to this testimony is a similar experience that I
one time experienced about four to five years ago. When
(04:28):
I was reading scripture. God continued to put something in
my heart about where I was meant to be, and
I was a very afraid of what that could potentially
look like. And I would open up my Bible and
(04:49):
it would repeat the same sentiment almost every time, get
out of your boat. Get out of your boat of comfort,
leave your boat of comfort. And at first I rejected
this idea because I was engaged to my fiance and
was about to be married, and jumping out of your
(05:12):
boat of comfort isn't very attractive when you want to
be a provider for your family, because you don't know
how that looks. So I pushed back against the thought
of jumping out of the boat, and the Lord continued
to stir in my heart and say jump out of
(05:33):
your boat, take a chance, take a leap. And I
was also miserable working the job that I was working,
So it felt like God was calling me to something greater,
but I did not know what that looked like. I
didn't want to take on more debt by going back
(05:55):
to school. I wanted to have an income for my
wife and I and I one day called our lead
pastor at Transformed Church in Andover, Minnesota, and he goes,
it's funny that you bring that up, because I was
just having a conversation with my wife, and you were
(06:16):
the first person that came into our minds as someone
that we would love to start the youth ministry and church.
And that was the purpose that God was calling me to.
And it's very similar to Ceci. It's not a youth
pastor position. But she was miserable at a job and
(06:39):
she felt like she was not meant to be there
and she didn't really understand why. But God opened up
an avenue for her when she stopped at the Dairy
Queen and they were asking if she was looking for
a job. So the Lord opened an opportunity for Ceci
(06:59):
to get out of a job that she was miserable
in to get out of a place where she did
not get along with her boss, and it was only
getting worse. So one of my favorite songs that is
a Christian song, and it's an old song. We're going
back to the nineteen nineties. The song is called God
(07:20):
Will make Away, and the lyrics sound like this. It says,
God will make away when there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see. He will make
away for me. He will be my guide, pulled me
closely to his side with love and strength. For each
new day. He will make away. He will make away.
God will make away when there seems to be no way.
(07:40):
He works in ways we cannot see. He will make
away for me. And this song applies to the testimony
of Cci, a powerful testimony of how God made a
way for Ceci out of the job that she was
miserable in and open up a pathway to a different job.
(08:01):
And I love how she finishes it with tewod Corinthians
twelve nine. My grace is enough for you, and I
am so glad that God saved me that day in
the drive through of Texas. Dear Queen Sez, thank you
for emailing the show. If you have a testimony you
