If you're willing to do that as well, that would
(00:20):
be great. There's a lot of turmoil going on right
now in the country, particularly these last few days, after
the United States decided to bomb multiple sites in Iran,
and following the bombing, there's been rumors, there's been speculation
(00:45):
world War three, And I'm gonna explain why, despite the
anxiousness or stress, despite the NonStop stories, we can have
so much peace in this turmoil. So grab your favorite
drink or a cup of coffee, and let's bring Heaven
(01:07):
a little closer together. If you're like me, you have
followed this Iran story closely, and even if you're not
following this closely, and you are following it from Afar
(01:28):
or know about it, it might cause a little stress
or worry about what the future of our country looks like.
Is there going to be a World War three? Is
America going to get into a huge battle between multiple countries.
(01:48):
And you think about that too long without the proper context,
and it can cause worry. But I hold asked to
what Jesus talked about two thousand years ago, because he
predicted that this exact situation would happen. And Jesus is
(02:19):
never wrong. So if he predicted it, it is going
to happen. In Matthew chapter twenty four, verses six through eight,
it says this, and you will hear of wars and
threats of wars, but don't panic. Yes, these things must
take place, but the end won't follow immediately. Nation will
(02:41):
go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There
will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.
But all this is only the first of the birth pains,
with more to come. That is exactly what's happening right now.
We are in the midst of tearing of wars and
(03:04):
threats of wars. But Jesus says, clearly, don't panic, because
this is all a part of the plan. This is
all a part of man falling Jesus saving, and Jesus
(03:29):
has an escape. In Matthew chapter twenty four, verses thirteen,
just a few verses later. But the one who endures
to the end will be saved. When man takes things
into their own hands, as Adam and Eve did in
the garden a long time ago. This is what happens.
(03:50):
And what we are seeing is man taking things into
their own hands more and more, and man drifting away
from God. So Jesus said, you were going to hear
of wars and rumors of wars and threats of wars,
but don't panic. These things must take place. Nation will
(04:13):
go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Without
Jesus's words, there would be reason to panic. But Jesus
warns us and tells us what is going to happen.
So none of this is shocking or surprising. This was expected,
(04:39):
And he says at the very end of this verse,
but all of this is only the first of the
birth pains, with the more to come, meaning it is
going to get worse before it gets better. The world,
the stresses, the anxieties, the worry, the rumors, the threats.
(05:02):
It is only going to get worse before it gets better.
And what's so interesting about all of it is I'm
not panicked at all. Or worried or concerned because of
what Jesus warned us about. If Jesus said nothing to
(05:23):
the like about any of the things happening right now,
I would be a little bit more worried. I'd be
a little bit more concerned. But because Jesus literally said
this was going to happen, I have so much peace
in this turmoil. I read the news, I click on stories,
(05:45):
and I'm like, Yep, Jesus said this would happened. So
if you're worried, if you're anxious about this, I encourage
you to draw close to Jesus's words and read them
over and over and over again, because he says, don't panic.
The one who endures to the end will be saved.
(06:07):
So I hope this was encouraging for you today, and
I hope you learn more about our Lord and savor
of Jesus Christ. Thank you for choosing Jesus, and I
pray that this podcast reveals more and more about our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit living
inside you. Hi. Everyone, I hope you have a good day.
