Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning, and good news,
the restraining order has finally been lifted. Alexis is now
allowed in the same room as her favorite hunky treasure hunters. Yeah,
they've been navigating high stakes drama sunken ships, making all
of us wonder why our beach vacations are so lame

(00:20):
in comparison. So please welcome the stars of the Netflix
show Outer Banks, J Stokes who plays John B and
Rudy Ponko, who plays JJ. Thanks for being here, guys,
I like.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Wow, sorry, sorry about ruining your beach vacations.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
That wasn't so now we're into what we're into season
four of the show. I'm curious when you guys like
were first starting to record this, did you have any
idea that it was going to be such a big
hit or was it like, I don't know if people

(00:54):
are actually going to watch this thing?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Absolutely absolutely the second one, this econd one, was like,
is this gonna work? And then by the end of
it we kind of looked at each other like, I
think it's gonna work.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
That was just the first scene.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
It's such a like fun show and the acting is
so good in it.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
You know, yeah, thank you guys for like two months now, so.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
It's clear that you guys have, like the whole cast
has really good on screen chemistry like that seems like
it's kind of hard to find in your industry. Is
there like a secret to that? Do you do trust
fall activities?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
A lot of trust falls?

Speaker 6 (01:39):
No, I think, I think truthfully, like it's it's not
just the formula of the show, but I think a
lot of it had to do with the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
We we shot the first season and kind.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
Of going to what Rudy had talked about where I
personally like when I saw the audition and then I
was shipped away to South Carolina, I was like, do TV.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Shows actually shoot there? Like is this bs? I feel
like it's it's this is the last place for they shoot.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
We shot it and we were so isolated there, and
then the pandemic hit and we were all isolated again,
And so I think just that like natural community that
was created, yeah to know people so well. So I
mean for Rudy and I, like we lived.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Together, so oh you live together during shooting for.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
The first season, we lived together.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
So finding the comedic timing and really embodying these characters.
I think was sort of a product of like you
come home from work. We drove to work together. We
talk about everything. I mean it was twenty four to seven,
seven days a week Outer Banks for the.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
First two years.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
So, Rudy, who's the better roommate? You were chased?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I mean, hands down me, that's.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
What Okay, who's better at dishes is what I want
to know.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
So that's the thing. Chase cooks. This is all during
season one, and then I would do the dishes. Okay, Yeah,
we had a routine.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
And what happened in season four, you guys just said
it that was that was enough. Yeah, we have enough
money now to get our own place.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
After the pandemic, well I guess yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Also the pandemic. We did the pandemic together as well.
And then I think after that moment.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
We were like, all right, you know, we're in such
a boundary adults.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
We have to get away from the teenage.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
After COVID gave COD I was like, no, no, so
now you're back out in public, like with the world again.
So I'm assuming you guys have probably have a pretty
rabid fan base at this point.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah, are you? No, it's not just a license crazy.
I was hunted down by our promotion staff yesterday and
they're all, you know, twenty year old, and they're like,
oh my god, we heard, we heard they're going to
be here. Is it okay if we come? And I'm like, yeah,
you can come, say hi, that's fine. I think they're
just normal guys.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
But I was curious, what is your your like funniest
crazed fans story do you have any where? It's like,
oh my god, somebody showed up in our hotel bathroom
or followed you.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Guys, are you making plans for later?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I'm very snool.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Whoa weird another weird fana? I yeah, Like, after the
pandemic sort of subsided, I went to the Venice Film
Festival and that was one of the first times that
I had ever been out in a setting that sort
of what's the appropriate way to say this sort of

(04:24):
enabled fan interaction in a sense.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Like with the Red Carpets.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
You mean, yeah, well before the Red Carpet.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I mean the thing that a lot of people don't
know is if you're with a film, you get shipped
in on a car to the Red carpet.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
But if you're not, if you're just going to.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
View, you have to actually walk through the sea of people,
and I got really nervous because I saw that there
was like hundreds, if not a thousand people out in
this crowd, and they're like, it's fine, we have security,
it's going to be great. Within twenty seconds of getting
off of that into the crowd, I had somebody pulling

(04:58):
on the back of my head by my hair, and
then another person had their finger in my mouth, like
a fishing.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
On Alexis what would they do? Okay, That's why I
was like, I've seen.

Speaker 7 (05:11):
That face cleared everybody, I'm allowed to be here.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Congratulations A long time coming.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
That was the one.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
That's what that is, like more invasive than I actually
could imagine.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Yeah, I think I think you know, no, I'm actually
hooking fish.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
I'm up in. That's why they opened a bait shop.
Full circle back to outer Base, So it makes sense.
You really relate to your character.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
We both we both got a group on the water,
so we're.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Like, bait cha bitch.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Pros and cons to that, you know, like, that's obviously
very drastic, but we we also have a lot of
people who you know, connected with the show during a
very troubling time in society. Yeah, it's it's been a
beacon of hope and it's been a lot of escapism.
So I think there is the duality of both sides
of that. You get good fish hook and then you
also get people who are are very thankful for giving

(06:14):
them some freedom during freeing time.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
It's just a fun show, which is like what we
try to do here too, write like it's just fun.
We just want people to smile and be happy and
feel better. But I want to know, like the Pogues
and the kuks are those real, actual names and slang
that people use in South Carolina and I'm just not
aware of it.

Speaker 6 (06:34):
Okay, I think Pogu's was a fictional term from our
creator's brain, Jonas Pate. But no, Like, there's an Instagram
page called Kook of the Day, which if you haven't
been on it, it's incredible. It's been far, far longer
on the world of social media than the show itself.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
But it for inspiration, thank god.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
No, you go on it and you see what happens
to people on that, you would to never ever show
up on that.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
Yeah, it's that's a that's a definitely a term that
has been used longer than the show.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I think polks go through something harder than that's what's
on that page.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Oh for sure.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeahs are tough.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, you were saying like we want to be happy
all here and just like the show is, like, the
show gets pretty dark.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Yeah, there's some some falls that would end up on
the day for sure, you in particular.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Yeah. Does anybody ever wonder why everyone in the town
is so beautiful, like the Pogues and the Kooks. It
feels like all the uggos are out at the swamp,
you know?

Speaker 7 (07:41):
Have you ever.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Yeah, one when we could get it, it.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Could starts in the morning. No, I think, you know,
get some good looking people in this town.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Yeah, I mean, you know it's yeah streaming, No, I
think it's real. I thought it a documentary there me
and radio.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I'm you know, dude, I'm going to join you along.
You come join the show.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
We do a lot of dating segments on our show,
and I wonder is it ever like tough for you
guys in your industry jobs to like date, Like, do
you ever wonder what people's motivations are? Are they?

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Like?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Do you ever think like, oh, they're just they're star
struck by the idea of going out with John B.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
And JJ.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
I think we're both pretty fortunate that we have kick
ass partners.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Have to worry about that, Yeah, trust them completely awesome.

Speaker 8 (08:37):
That's awesome. Well that's good in five years then obviously,
well kind of like right when all this stuff started
and they've been with you the whole time.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
That's awesome, bro.

Speaker 8 (08:44):
Yeah for you too, How long about you?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
It'll be? Yeah, where do we start?

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Boys know even who you're dating?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Yeah, I don't. That's so okay. Yeah, No, I with
my girlfriend for almost two years. That's lovely.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Kelsey Vallerini's the hottest thing in country music.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Yeah yeah, just announced her in a tour yesterday.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
So has Taylor Swift called you to as you know,
a couple who's making it work on music and television
and no, I mean.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Travis and Taylor are great and you know they've got
it figured out on like such a high level fun.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yeah, Travis is a riot.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
We've we've hung out a few times and have a
few drinks one day. Yeah, listen, it's not as I
literally have been on more planes than i'd like to holiday.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
So yeah, and you're doing an interview right now.

Speaker 9 (09:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
Yeah, And I've got makeup on so it doesn't look
like the bags on that. But yeah, no, it's it's
it's cool because she understands it in.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Yeah yeah, space too. So it's sort of.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Like a Venn diagram of of life, Like I don't
know anything about.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Music, but now I do.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
Yeah, she didn't know anything about you know, our world,
and so now she does. And there's a beautiful sort
of crossover in that.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Do you ever like get in like we're reed about
singing along in the car with her sitting there, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Like judge me because.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
My voice is terrible.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Well, I actually.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Because you sang a little bit, didn't you. Weren't you
some musician like you have music?

Speaker 6 (10:13):
I mean, we we all jam like, we all play instruments,
and that's been something we've done on set for since
the very beginning.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
I still say the difference between me singing in the
car and now Kelsey singing in the car, there is
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Of a Yeah, Rudy and I.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
Rudy and I would get down on our way to work,
and now I definitely try to just attempt to harm.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
What song are you getting down to on the way
to work.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
That's a good question, you know, you know, go for it.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
I mean, well, now you're putting me on the spot.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Are going but.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Oh yeah, we're going to know. I think.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
That's the way you welcome to Hollywood, remember, honestly, like
the one uh there is.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Oh the Bahamas away with words like we would always
try to I mean you start so early with film
and TV, so call times would be like five a m.
So you never want to get way too high too early,
because then you just crash in the middle of the day. Yeah,
there's a lot of low fi, a lot of like,
you know, fun acoustic stuff. But the Bahamas were kind
of like the soundtrack of season one.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Are you making notes?

Speaker 3 (11:23):
I honestly, I can't remember the name of the band.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
I know how he got the Sharpie, but are you
having to get our autograph later?

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Is that what you brought to Sharpie with you?

Speaker 3 (11:39):
From the.

Speaker 7 (11:41):
Still from him?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
We'll get there.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Yeah, the way for just joining us. We're talking in
studio with the stars of the hit Netflix show Outer Banks,
Chase Stokes, and Rudy Ponkaw and we're in season four.
Like we said before, as far as the series goes,
how long do you guys see this like going like
hunting for treasure? Do you see this going to like
season fifty seven? You guys are seventy years old riding
around in Rascal scooters chasing down treasure.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
There there's only so much treasure in the world. Now
you can you can. Now, let's get a little symbolical here.
You can make a treasure anything, rightsure.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
That's where staring at each other. I love it.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Relationship.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
I'm imagining though.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
You guys should hit down the Marianna Trench scuba diving
suits underwater six miles.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
We got to pitch it.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Yeah, how do you show up that great hair underwater? Yeah?
The producers are not going to go for that.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
I'm sorry. Yeah, blow underwater?

Speaker 4 (12:46):
When do you guys when you guys finally met back
up to film season four? Did you do part one
and part two at the same time or you guys still.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Have to Yeah?

Speaker 6 (12:55):
Yeah, we we filmed all the way through, so it
took us actually an entire year.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
We did have the but it took us a full
year calendar year.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
A full year.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Okay, massive Massive.

Speaker 6 (13:08):
Season traveled overseas. We shot in Morocco, for two months.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
So yeah, this one is a monster of a season.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
But Netflix the way that they usually do it, as
they film it all together and then they release it
in two parts.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Okay, don't ask me, that's what I figured.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Anybody really knows.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Yeah, I mean they left us hanging after part one literally,
so you know, I guess that's the point work. Do
you have like a secret link that you can send
to your like mom so that she can watch the
whole thing or did she have to watch with the
rest of us.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I wouldn't give my mom. I want to give my mom.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Don't trust her mom.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
Does she make a book out of it?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Something she does?

Speaker 4 (14:00):
No?

Speaker 2 (14:00):
There actually is like uh, I think it's like password protected.
And then they can also tell where you log in.
And I learned that the hard way.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
You did.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Somebody logged into your Netflix account from Orlando, Florida. Who
would that be? And I was like, that's my mom?
And they're like, we're gonna shut this down and give
you a new pastor.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
I actually got all the episodes in it one night.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
That probably not Okay, he's employed.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Were your parents worried about?

Speaker 2 (14:28):
You know?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
When you you guys graduate high school and you're like, no,
we're going to be actors. How'd that conversation go?

Speaker 3 (14:33):
It was a it was the gap year thing where Okay,
I'm gonna take a gap year and then but then
it's also about money. You're like, I'm going to go
into debt in a degree that I probably won't want. Also,
they listened to that. If you're listening, that's the best
way to do it.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
And money card loans with high interest rates is the
best way to.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
Be in.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
The hardly interest rate, the more of a chance you
have of making it.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Yeah, it's math.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Oh man, that's awesome. You two have been awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yea, thank you guys us this morning. You can go
check out this interview on our podcast at Brook and
Jeffrey if you want to catch all a thing and
make sure you watch Outer Banks Season four, Part one
on Netflix streaming kah Netflix.

Speaker 4 (15:16):

whole video of our interview as well on our YouTube page.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Either is perfect. Yeah, it's a wig.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
We got.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
Brook and Jeffrey in the morning today versus Well, that was.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Fun with Chase Stokes and Rudy Ponko in studio, and
of course you can see the entire interview. You can
watch it all because they're beautiful.

Speaker 7 (15:43):
Oh yeah, they.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Were nice too. They actually have feelings.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Yes, you can watch the whole interview up on our YouTube.
Just search Brooke and Jeffrey there. And I'm going to
tell you, I have never seen a Lexus smile more
on this show.

Speaker 7 (15:56):
Than in the last eighteen nights or however long.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
That was.

Speaker 10 (16:00):
I love them and I didn't disappoint they were And
this is the first time we've ever had celebrities and
studios since I've worked here.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
That is crazy.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah, well because we hired you literally the day that
before the hiring freeze when into it for COVID it
was twenty twenty, so I.

Speaker 10 (16:15):
Feel like they're just starting to go back. Yeahstration so
I was excited be they're hot. I mean, but I
was sat very far from them the studio, which I would.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Like to complain it, Okay, that was my purpose.

Speaker 7 (16:26):
We're like five cheers away from it.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
Like I know, I know, and we all know if
you sat next to them, you'd be dating both of them.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
Yeah, it was I did feel bad that we didn't
know Rudy's girlfriend. Yeah, do you know that she's his
co star on Outer Banks? I literally had Yeah.

Speaker 8 (16:41):
I was probably the most unprofessional.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
I'm like, oh, you guys are dating people. Yeah, it's
like what I yeah, sorry.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Their girlfriends are like legends, Like yeah, totally, totally well
and I also enjoyed. If you want to see the
picture of all of us too, you can go to
our Instagram account where Alexis just elbowed Jeff out of
the way to make sure that she was right next
to Chase.

Speaker 10 (17:02):
Yeah, because then I could crop the photo of just
me and them too and take all you guys out.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
I can't. I can't frame it with.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
All of that, as if he didn't know that that
was her like entire motive. I totally that's amazing.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
Good for you would be the first guy you actually
post on your on your Insta.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
They didn't disappoint Alexis, but I'm gonna say I'm a
little heartbroken because origionally they asked for an interview and
I said, I would love it if they could play
this game today versus back in the day, and their
handler said, yeah, that sounds great, So I went and
prepared a beautiful game that we're about to play, because
we are going to play it, whether they will play

(17:41):
it or not. Email me the day before, just yesterday
and said, no, sir, they don't want to play. So
I was so hopeful. I was still hopeful. I was like,
that's what I was taking. Yeah. So I had the
game in my hand and I walk up to Chase
and they go, so, I have this great game if
you guys want to play, And as Jeff he described it,
he literally basically pushed past me.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I heard one of them mentioned like a high in
the face.

Speaker 8 (18:07):
I'm like, oh, I bet they think that we were
gonna have some stunt with them, like put your hand
in the bo Okay, yeah, because we're just saying we're gonna.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Play the game. I showed him. I showed him, I go,
the first one is about goonies versus outer banks. It's
gonna be fun. And he looked at me, blank staring.

Speaker 10 (18:22):
I did He said, oh no, you said next time.
You said next time, because he just.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
Kept looking at me and it was awkward.

Speaker 7 (18:27):
You basically scare it off the hot guest.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
There we go. We're doing it anyway. The Lexus is
going to answer these questions.

Speaker 7 (18:34):
I'm going to see if this would have been worthy
of them answers.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Okay, okay, because we're going to start with is it
goonies or is it outer Banks?

Speaker 7 (18:41):
You're gonna quit them on their own show? Yes, ok wow,
I think it's great.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I'm going to read through the quote. You've got to
tell me is it Goodies or Outer Banks? Start the music, ash,
just play me some background music, game show whatever. I
don't care playing music shows.

Speaker 7 (18:59):
This is going good.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
This is game show.

Speaker 8 (19:02):
Turn it, turn it down, and now turn it up.

Speaker 7 (19:06):
I wonder if don't come back and listen to and
be like good thing we left number one.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
You know the rule no pogum pogue mackie.

Speaker 7 (19:15):
Okay, well, outer Banks?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Because I got it right. Ye hey, I wanted to
start slow. I didn't know how good they were gonna be.
They don't get pretty. They could be dumb stupid. Things
have outcomes all the time.

Speaker 7 (19:28):
Chase Stokes, I imagine saying it. Let's say automakes.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Actually JJ though. Okay, down here, it's our time, our time.

Speaker 10 (19:38):
Oh aren't the goonies underground in the case?

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Down here, it's our time. It's our time.

Speaker 7 (19:46):
Down here.

Speaker 10 (19:49):
That's all over the second we run up toy's bucket.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Yeah, I had audio for every single one of these,
but I'm not even gonna play the outer.

Speaker 7 (19:58):
Banks their own.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I was on the math team question number four, outer
banks had saturd banks. But as pope, do it good?

Speaker 7 (20:09):
Okay, number five?

Speaker 4 (20:10):
The only thing we serve here is tongue.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
Okay, goonies.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
This is way here than I accepted.

Speaker 10 (20:17):
I wasn't even in the show play the audio.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
The only can't we serve tongue?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Like god, I haven't seen that so long?

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Do you want anymore?

Speaker 7 (20:36):
I actually had ten's the hardest when y'all left.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Dude, did you just yeat over that chain?

Speaker 10 (20:42):
I'm gonna guess yeat wasn't a turn back in the
Gooney days.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
Let's go with out of race all right.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Out there?

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Did you just yet over that chain? That is not
the definition of yeat to me all the way eat
the chain?

Speaker 2 (21:00):
You eat over the chain?

Speaker 4 (21:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
It's like this you threw really?

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Yeah, what do you think it was?

Speaker 4 (21:06):
It was like in the early two thousands, it meant
something else.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
So far, I'm god they're not here for that.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
That would have been embarrassing. Let's move on to question
number two. Is today versus back in the day? I'm ready, Okay,
so we're gonna play lyrical fill in the blank? Oh yeah,
as you want my mindset of why I chose this song. Yeah,
Chase Stokes is dating Kelsey Ballerini. Right, country music story.
So I went back to the legend the king of

(21:32):
country of the nineteen nineties Garth Brooks. Oh yeah, okay, ready,
alexis here we go.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
All right, We'll see you run the nineties when it
came to country.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
This song is from nineteen ninety. Are you ready to
fill in the blank?

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Blame it all of my roots, blame it all.

Speaker 7 (21:50):
I was drinking.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
I showed up in boots.

Speaker 7 (21:54):
Oh it's got a rhyme and ruined, ruined my life, your.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Black tie affair, Oh, the last one to know if
you were there, the last one to show. I was
the last.

Speaker 7 (22:09):
One who cared what you thought you'd see there.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
And I saw the surprise, and I screamed, hooray. Appeared
in your eyes when I took his hand massive champagne
and I chugged it said throw it back, baby through
But you will never wear a black tie affair again here.

Speaker 7 (22:35):
Everybody almost got it all.

Speaker 9 (22:42):
Why and so when I imagined happening, they said we
were all going to join in on a single album.
You know, Chase Dogs, rowdy punk, You're going to be
singing friends in low place.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Is all together?

Speaker 7 (23:01):
I think their handler deserves a raise for stopping them.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Would have been in studio, he was outside the door.
I'm gonna tell you, if there is two very fit men,
do they really need a bodyguard?

Speaker 7 (23:17):
They have like they came in with like an entrage
of like thirty people. You guys, like so many.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
People a lot. But here's what was strange. Did you
notice that they all color coordinated? Every handler, every person
had brown cream or black on.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
I did see a lot of brown. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
They were all in their neutrals. They were filling their fault. Okay,
all right, we're down to the last question. God, this
has been so much fun.

Speaker 7 (23:41):
Yeah only Chase you were here. Yeah, and I did.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
It all about Hollywood heartthrops because that's what they are,
right Yeah, Yeah, So I thought maybe i'd compliment them
with that. And we're going to test your knowledge, alexis
now you instead of nineteen nineties heart throb Okay, right,
So I'm gonna give you three different facts about the
dreamy lead characters of that era, and then you just
have to figure out which fact is actually a lie. Okay, ready, okay.

(24:10):
Fact number one Keanu Reeves almost changed his name to
Chuck Spadina.

Speaker 7 (24:15):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Fact number two Jared Leto received a severed ear from
a fan and wore it as a necklace. Yes. Fact
number three Jonathan Taylor Thomas had an identical twin who
would act for him when he was double booked.

Speaker 7 (24:30):
What fact is a lie?

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Woo?

Speaker 10 (24:35):
The severed ear er is really weird, but I feel
like I remember it from somewhere because I remember is
he kind of weird? I don't know, and then that's weird,
and it just it made like I was shocked.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
And then I read it and I was like, maybe
I'm not shocked.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I don't but I know he's like weird.

Speaker 7 (24:48):
I don't remember it where he is a necklace, but
like the ear sound.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
It was around the same time that Billy Bob Thornton
and Angela and Julie were doing the blood vials.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
I don't know, I feel like the twin. I'm thinking
it's fakes.

Speaker 10 (25:00):
I feel like a real fan with a real crush
would notice a fake one coming in.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Even identical.

Speaker 10 (25:06):
Come on, they're die hard fans, right, you gotta know
every Like I memorized every inch of Chase's apps through
the shirt.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
If there's a fake one coming in, I would know.
So I'm gonna say that the twin one is fake.
Oh you gotta ride?

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (25:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
So Jared Letto did receive a severed ear from a fan,
which is so crazy to me. But Keanu Reeves did
share a story about his almost Hollywood name okay, because
apparently when he first arrived into Hollywood, his agents are like,
you cannot go by Keanu Reeves. You've got to come
up with something else. So this is what happened.

Speaker 6 (25:39):
I go to the ocean because this is a big
deal for me, right, it's my name, it's my name,
and and.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
I literally go to the ocean and you scream, it's
this is.

Speaker 7 (25:53):
A seashell.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
And then you talk the shell into the thing and
it comes back.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
With the name.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
And what does the shell tell you?

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Your name is there?

Speaker 4 (26:01):
You go. Hony went back and told his agents and
they're like, no, no, no, that's not good. That's that good.
All right?

Speaker 7 (26:09):
There, it is today versus back in the day.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
