Speaker 1 (00:01):
You don't know me concession.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I can't take back ow arm mouse.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Speak text to seven eight five nights who says I
was so lazy the other night when I needed to
change TV channels, I spent five minutes downloading the app
and linking my TV because the remote was on the
opposite end of the couch.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
That took longer. But it's so lazy.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
I'm so nice.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
It's smart though I would have just trashed the entire
TV ordered a whole new one.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Oh there you go.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, But it's amazing how people's brains work so differently.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
That's what just makes the mass Speaker so much fun.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Because we've got a guy on the phone right now
with his own beautifully unique mind who wants to confess.
He's chosen to go by the name Lenny today, So Lenny,
welcome to the show.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
He thanks you willing to get up and give us
this confession or I am.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I'm probably gonna regret it later, but I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Well, if it's too hard to hold the phone, feel
free to go to speaker and set it down whatever
it's easier for you.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Voice Changer is on.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
You are our mass speaker whenever you're ready, let's hear
your confession.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
So you guys, probably I aren't gonna think what I'm
doing is cool, but uh, it's a good start. I
was working for this big company for a few years,
big national company. I'm obviously I'm not going to say
the name, okay, but about three months ago, just like
out of know where, they laid me off. It was
just this phone call.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
I mean, it doesn't even feel like out of know where.
There's so many companies doing off right now, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah, just because you stole some office supplies and stuff,
that's that was a fire job. Layoff is different than admiring.
I know, you've only had a job here, but I.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Keep stealing stuff from here too, and for some reason
they just won't let me go. That sucks, man, especially
to get it done over the phone.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
It's better than an email or your card just not working.
But that's typically the style around our place.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
And there was like no notice. It was like just
no need to come back in on Monday.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Oh god cold.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
So anyway, the next week I realized I had forgot
something back in the office, so I went back there, and.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I bet that didn't feel very good, Like well it was.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
It was okay, surprisingly felt really normal, and I found
out my key card still worked to access the building.
I thought I was gonna have to ask security to
help me, but anyway, they.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Must have laid off the guy that was in charge
of that too.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
So I walked in and I grabbed my thing, and
then I've just decided I'm just gonna grab a seat
in one of the conference rooms and hang out for
a bit, enjoy some cold brew, hang out.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Oh so you just started kicking it, bro, Like, what's
the logic here?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Like, what are they going to do? Fire me?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Exactly? Yeah, I don't really have anything else going on.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
And that's true, that's not what.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
There's free WiFi and there's like practically a buffet out
all day ones.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
We always talk about how jealous we are them.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
No, if like we saw somebody who had gotten laid off,
like just chilling in the conference room, would be like, hey,
did you see who's over there?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
There'd be gossip spreading.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, everyone know total wouldn't somebody in the building recognize
who you are?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Sure he doesn't care. One of my co workers open
a conference door and she seemed a little shocked to
see me. She was like, oh hey, I thought you
got laid off, and I was like, uh no, it
turns out it was a mistake and they wanted me
back on a part time basis.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
That's what you said, yeah, oh my god, okay.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And she was like, oh okay, cool, And so I
went back again the next day and did the same thing.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Your key card still works, Bro, You're not getting paid,
like you don't go to the big companies.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
It's not paid.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
But he's not going there to work. He's just going
there to chill and eat.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
And how does this make so much sense to you too?

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Because look, if if they fire me tomorrow, right, I
would totally just come back and use your guys and stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I want to hang out.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I'd bring like tump aware in a big Stanley and
I took myself down.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
If you think about it, it's like, what do you
want to do? Do you want to sit at home
all by yourself and mope alone?

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Do you want to go and be like social, I've
been laid off before.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
It feels terrible.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
The last thing you want to do is go bad. More.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
People don't take life so seriously, bro, Sorry, their jobs,
their career.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
My bad.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
We okay, the boys in the room support.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
You here, Lenny, Yeah, bro, thank you.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Sound like you're living like a king, well minus the
being rich. Yeahs have money?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah yeah, I still get my gym access.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Dude, showers in there.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Why are you saying still? Are you still doing this?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Oh yeah, I'd still go in like three times in
a week.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
You said you got laid off three months ago.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Yeah, you could like literally stop paying rent and somehow
find a way to just move in.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Do you have a new job.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
No, I'm collecting unemployment so I got enough coming in.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
From then there's still bad and he doesn't have to
pay for lunches and stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I mean unemployment. It's like a second job too. You're
like looking for work car. You have a Wi Fi
to bring your laptop and fill out all those applications
you need to.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
You probably have like free omelets every day. Yeah, something
like a chef over there.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I was like an omelet guy too. Yeah. Now the
steels fancy. He's on me.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
All yeah, I'd rather be drinking around here on my
laptop watching videos here.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
So you're there right now?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah that's when.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Yeah, what are you going to do if you get.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Caught say oh my bad.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Sorry, that's a good one that I didn't get that emails.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Their fault because they didn't deactivate. I would always lean
on that.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Hey, if I was really fired, you should have deactivated
my car.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Well, not only that, now they have a record because
it's your card checking in and out every time you've
been the building.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
No one's paid enough to look. Nobody cares.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Really, he's gotten away with it for three months and
been able to do it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
How long do you plan to do this?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I mean not forever, but I'm thinking least hang on
till Christmas because the Christmas party is really awesome.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
You can okay, you actually have good holiday Christmas parties.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
It's a big company.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Those are awesome.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Oh yeah, I was hoping he.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Would say that he was planning on doing it until
he got his next job.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
No, no, I mean, come on, no, he's got to
take advantage of the free holiday food and holiday.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Bonuses that they pass out.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
So you said that we weren't going to be supportive
of your idea, but I know at least half of
them loves it.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
All right, Well, I'm glad to be of inspiration.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, okay, Hey, maybe We'll find you in our break
room soon.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Who knows.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Text into seven eight, five nine too. If you have
a confession that you've been holding on to, we can
hide your identity, mask your voice, and make you our
next mass speaker.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Your phone TAP's coming up right after this.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Brook and Jeffrey in the morning.
