back at his place, But Jackie's hoping it wasn't just
a one night stand thing for sure. The thing is,
she can't deny that Miguel has been acting differently towards her,
at least over text. He's being more polite now than
he is being flirty, and we just want to help
her figure out the reason why we just think.

He's the One thing I'm concerned about is that you
were sounds like pretty drunk that night, and he may
share a story that could be embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Did you consider that, Jackie?

I don't think there was anything embarrassing that happened.

Okay, Okay, so you're willing to hear whatever it is.

I mean, yeah, But that's why I'm calling because I
like this guy. I thought we had a good connection
on Tinder and were fine with my friends. Even my
friends are like, well, where's Miguel, And I'm like.

Well, here's the thing. If it does happen to be
something embarrassing that you don't remember, the good news is
Brooke has done something ten times more embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Sober probably even Yeah, in fact, we all have.

Uh, we're calling because we're in the middle of a
second right now. That's called a second date update.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Sorry, well, I'm just confused. What to do with me?
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Great question? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah, Well if you don't if you don't know what
it is, it's where we have a listener who has
gone out with you and had a really nice time,
was hoping to meet up again, but that hasn't been happening,
and she's not really sure why.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Who is it?
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I don't know if you're seeing multiple people. But the
girl who reached out to us about you today, her
name is Jackie.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
Jackie Okay, Jackie from Tinda.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Yeah, he saved in the phone. Sounds like, yeah, it
sounds like your name. You guys met up?
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Yeah, I met her and her friends at the club.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Right. We heard the story from her and it sounded
like a really fun night. We started the club and
it ended up back at your place after some street
food hot dogs.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
She said, her friends even liked you.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Yeah, she's okay.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Were you going into the night just expecting to just
have fun for one night?
Speaker 4 (10:09):
Like you?
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Weren't thinking of her? Maybe as a multi night type
of lady. I don't want to say relationship because I
don't know that that's what she's looking for.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
But no, we we had a situation the next morning.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
What a situation? What happened?
Speaker 3 (10:27):
She said she had to hurry out because the car
was waiting for her.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
Well, yeah, so I heard her get up and call
somebody to pick her up, and I told her, like,
you know, I can call you or whatever, and she said, no, no,
it's it's okay, it's okay. So then she jumps in
the shower and about five minutes later, there's a knock
at the door and I opened up and it's her mom.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
What your mother is standing at your door?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Apparently she was her ride.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Oh wow, I cannot imagine calling my mother after a.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Night like that.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
Yeah, she wasn't happy.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Unhappy, Yes, she was not happy.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
Oh wait, what did she say?
Speaker 5 (11:18):
She started grilling me like, did you have fun last night?
She said, how many partners have.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
You been with? Oh?
Speaker 5 (11:23):
No, it was really really awkward.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, that.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Would be calling people.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
So wait, did Jackie ever come and interfere or know
that this was happening.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
It took her a while to get out of a
shower and get her stuff on everything. So in my mind,
before that whole awkward situation with her mom, I was
probably going to hang out with her again. But meet
her mom on the first day like that where she's
grilling me.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
It's the morning after, like, your mom will always think
of you as that guy.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
But it could be a funny story if you're able
to spin it the right way, depending.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Why would Jackie call her mother?
Speaker 2 (12:05):
That's a good question, Broke, And actually we should find
out because I have to tell you Miguel that Jackie
is on the other line right now listening to this
phone call.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
Yeah, it's her mom on the line too.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
I don't know Jackie talk to Miguel here.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
Geezhi, girl, I'm so sorry you read all that.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
I I'm just I don't know. It's it's weird because
like I was waiting for you to like call me back,
you know, just like text, text me back or something.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Well, Jackie, did you yet?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Stuff like why didn't you take up his offer on
getting an uber instead of calling your mom? Okay, well
I get that because you're in your you look like
the morning after.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
It's tough an uber with your mom. I'm just saying,
but what if the uber driver's cute? Yeah? I get
where is coming from?
Speaker 4 (12:56):
What you have?
Speaker 2 (12:56):
All your friends you went out.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
With, Like my mom she was like nearby, she was
leaving church, and it's like, oh, I spend money.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
On a uber.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
She came from church to pick her daughter up after
a one night stand.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
Yeah, she's not. She was upset.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Wow, did you know that?
Speaker 3 (13:15):
She was so upset she had to have lectured you.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
In the car something to you.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
My mom usually picks me up from my one night stands.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Oh oh, she's used to this. That mom knows the rundown. Okay,
it's another Sunday, you know what to do.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
This is probably why they're all one night and not more.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Yeah, it's a good point, and she doesn't need everybody.
I just happened to be in the shower. I didn't
know she was gonna grill you the gall I'm so sorry,
I had no idea she was going to do that.
I mean, my mom is my best friend. She's my
favorite person in the whole world, and I brilliant see
anything wrong as you're coming to pick me up after church?
Speaker 3 (13:57):
I mean she was in the area.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
I didn't you have to send money on over.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
I didn't want to inconvenience to anybody.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I mean, Miguel, what do you think I get it?
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Like, I'm super close with my mom too, and I've
had my mom picked me up from some really sticky situations.
But I wasn't under eighteen at the time, and you know,
I'm an adult.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
It's been a while.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
It was just really off putting for you to feel
like your mom doesn't like me already, you know, like
that was weird.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Love you. She was just asking about like the other day,
Like wait, she was asking about Miguel.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah, she was asking, like have you heard from him?
And he seemed like a nice guy.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Sometimes mom's coming really really hot when they just want
to like make sure that he's a good guy. They're
not actually angry.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
And you already ripped the band aid off with her,
like there's no way you could get lower.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
And she knows where you live for the next time.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yeah, oh yeah, I mean she did say that she
would pick me up if it ever did happen again. Okay, man,
this is so.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
Weird, Like I've never dealt with anything like this before.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Well, we'd like to let you deal with it one
more time and send you on another date with Jackie
and we'd pay for it.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I bet Jackie could even promise that her mom won't
come or pick her up or or maybe any interaction
with you.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
No, she'll have her grandma coming together.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
I mean, Miguel, I thought that we had like a
really great time. I think it's gonna be better, like
mom doesn't have to come. But I also just want
to say, like, isn't my mom really hot? Like that's
I'm going to look in like the next twenty years,
Like she looks amazing.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
So if you if you pick me.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
If you pick me, Miguel, like, and then he hot
for the rest of my life.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
That is not a lot of people come on the
show and try to sell themselves by saying how hot
their mom is. But I should try this. Yeah, but
it's up to you, Miguel. We're running out of time here,
so we need an answer.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Honestly, that was the weirdest pitch I ever heard. But Jackie,
I'm done for it.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yeah those good yes? Oh my god. Okay, you know
the first person she's calling after this is her mom?
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Oh yeah, Jeffrey in the morning.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Before I say anything about this, I just want to

like lecturing him to I like him? Where is Miguel?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Mom came in with the tough love after every one
night stand?
Speaker 3 (16:40):
That was going to be one mother in law to
handle for somebody's.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Oh yeah, man, why didn't we ask? Though? We should
have specifically asked who picked her up after the date.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Because who would have been a million years thought it
would be her mother?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Well, whose job is it to ask that question? Alexis
we need to put you on this Okay? From now on. Okay,
anytime we do a second date, you are asked the
driver's name, a physical description, license plate number, and relationship status.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
It's not gonna give you like flag during anything for us.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
You don't let him. It's just gonna help us. This
is a good learning moment so that we can help
