Speaker 1 (00:01):
Did you hear about the scandal that's rocking the children's
television world right now? Apparently they've unearthed the lost episode
of Blue season three.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
I don't know if it's cool really, because Blue gets
grounded for a month after she's cyber bullies. Megan Markle
to the in Shit her Life, and I know it's
true because you can only find that secret episode airing
on oo TikTok Click Shock TikTok Click Shock, where we
discussed the biggest TikTok videos from the past week, like

(00:34):
cyber bluey Gate. Let's get to your first TikTok Click Shock,
which is from an influencer named Sammy Whammy. She shared
an experience she had when someone randomly reached out to
her on the platform with what seemed like a harmless message.
So let's listen to her describe what happened next.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Someone that tried to get into my DMS saying Hey,
sorry for the weird approach. I just have a question
and she just wanted me to answer some She's the
best I could. I'm like okay, and she started with
where I'm from and how old, then asked me what
I did for work? Proceeded to tell me that they
were looking for someone that they can message back and
forth and they could in turn give money to, like

(01:15):
have genuine conversations with, and that they could spoil. Sure enough,
it is a scam, but at that point I was
just like, Nope, not interested and block them.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I mean, do people actually get messages saying that I
want to give you money and just talk to you
and they don't think it's a scale?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
So what she's describing is the latest scam trend where
people want to be your friend and they'll send you
a fraudulent check for it. Then you deposit that fake
check into your bank account and send them some money back,
exactly like.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
You on TikTok knows what a check is. Yeah, when
it's such a process, even go get ye.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
If they simplified the process, I'd be all on board.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
My conversation with alexis on where do I stay give.
I'm still having hard time with three days.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
But authorities are calling this the text buddy scam, and
they are on record saying if you receive this message,
it's probably because you are unattractive.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Wow, Because their.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Whole deal is to go after quote unappealing people who
probably don't get a lot of action in their DMS.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
A lot.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
People will just be like no, yeah, so that makes
this fake friendship seem more appealing to someone.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
So now if I don't if I get it, then
I should be insulted.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No, you should get a makeover.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
One of the top comments was just tell them you're
thirteen years old and from Belarus and they will leave
you alone after that. Really, Caeen, so you're just like,
you don't have a bank account, you can't be scammed.
At that point, that was a TikTok click shot.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Your next TikTok click shot.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Is a cleaning viral hack that's supposed to help your
vacuum pick up even more dirt by weighing it down.
When you say viral hack, Broke was like, ooh, well,
the item that people are using to add weight is
maybe the most impractical thing that you could think of,
because the hack is way down the front part of
your vacuum by putting a full watermelon on top of it,

(03:17):
and that will press it down into the carpet so
it gets a much deeper suck. Because we couldn't find
something that's flat on the bottom and it's also like
really instagrammable. Oh it's super cute, and the video for
it is racking up millions of views. The woman who
posted it she's technically using a carpet cleaner, but the

(03:39):
same thing works on a regular vacuum too. You just
toss a full, uncut watermelon on the top and it'll
suck up more.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
It'll cause a lot more problems if it's cut.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Ouse Tom's Guide in Good Housekeeping both tested it out,
saying it does seem to help your vacuum pick up
more dirt, but they had to go re really slow
or the melon would just roll off immediately.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
The first time Good Housekeeping was relevant in a TikTok Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Did they say using a full watermelon ups the fun factor?
But if you want, you can try using a bag
of rice or some other boring shape thing. That is
another TikTok click shot. Let's go to your final TikTok
click shot, which is a heartwarming story about a brother
and a sister who got separated as little kids and

(04:27):
finally found each other again eighty years later.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Their names crazy are Donald Heske and Marion Griffin. She's eighty,
he's eighty.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
One.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Their birth mother had mental health issues, so she couldn't
take care of them, and they both ended up in
foster care in the nineteen forties. So here's Marian talking
about their emotional reunion today.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
My brother was so happy, he says, Marian, this is you.
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I looked for you, Marian. He couldn't even stop playing
my name.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
My cals don't get what this is.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Not the forties no more and the fifties and keep
in contact with each other. Family is so important, sister. Yeah,
they could have got a better microphone though for the.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Reason it did that, like she was being interviewed in
a bathroom.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, so it could have done better there. But turns
out both of them had been looking for each other
since the nineteen sixties. Wow, they'd reached out to the
foster care trying to get information. Foster care wasn't much help,
but at one point the brother did track down and
speak to his sister's adoptive parents, but they told him
to quote stop bothering us and hid the information about

(05:46):
his sister for years.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah. The Fox family did not want to comment on
I'm sure it's a different Fox family. I'm sure there's somebody.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Else, was my mom. She'd be like, I have another child, yes,
but we'll take all.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
The children, I will say. The happy reunion occurred thanks
to ancestry after one of the relatives submitted their DNA
and the family tree was given back and they realized,
wait a second, my dad has a sister. Yeah, and
that's what led to them getting back together.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
I have a friend who just found a half sibling
and they just met up and they're like totally connecting.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
It's awesome, so cool. Those were your Woo TikTok click
shots stories for the day. We got your phone tap
coming up

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.
