Love is yeah, catches up. I know I love that
about you.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
So we got a great episode of that for you
starting here in Josephs second. But we always love to
highlight some of our comments of the week and what
do you like Alexis.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Well, okay, before I butcher the same, I'm just gonna
shorten it and say, Binder said, listen from Tokyo every day.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Literally the only thing that cheers me up.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I really wish y'all didn't rest on weekends.

It has second Date in there, but there's also some
like stupid news and there's you know, who knows tender
Days competing story, oh nice, A lot of stuff like that.
So if you want to check that out. Our main
feed is just search Brooke and Jeffrey and you'll find it,
or you can hit them more.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Like this page, yeah, and it'll be right there.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah. So okay, yeah, yeah, let's get this started on
the weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Have you guys noticed how excited Brook gets Whenever Alexis
shares details about her dating life. Her eyes go her
voice goes hogh, her glasses fog up, and Brooks like,
oh my, and then what did the part time long
haul truckers.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Don't spare him details? Don't have the same type. It
is only part time. Yeah, you couldn't even make it
full time.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
It's not Brook's fault, Okay, it's just once you've been
married for ten plus years, you have no choice but
to live vicariously through other people's lives.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Is even weird to hear that I've been married for
that long.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, being married, but.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
You know, I know you said it to ten years
of marriage. Enough, all the sound effects like I'm going
to end that Actually good news for Brook.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Luckily, we've got two hopeful singles ready to meet for
the first time on our show. Brooks glasses are already
on pre fog and anticipation.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Any long haul truckers are on the line.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
We're going to.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Find out brand new Blind Love is coming up right
after this.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
They say love can't be forced.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Yeah that's true, but I don't want to get into
Jose's recent court case.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's Brook and Jeffrey in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
The thing is, if you can't and that would in
any kind of action, If you can't force love, at
least maybe you can gently nudge it in the right direction.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Sure it needs guidance.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yeah, that's what we attempt to do with this segment.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Blind Love is we have two single listeners who've emailed
us for other things. Sometimes they wanted a second date
update that didn't quite work out, or maybe it was
a battle of the tender dates they didn't get to do.
They are willing to meet each other for the very
first time, right here on our show, without ever seeing
or knowing anything about one another.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
We're guiding chemistry and like seeing if they have it naturally.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
The last time we did this, they were so cute together,
do you guys remember, I don't know if we've gotten
an update from them, but they were darling.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
We keep reaching out to them, but they keep hitting ignore.
So I don't know it's a good sign, but we are.
We're trying to see if sparks fly while we listen
in And today we have two new people who are
open to meeting a total stranger on the radio. Their
names are Lori and Troy, and again, they have never
spoken before this. This will be their very first interaction
(03:49):
with one another, and we've encouraged them to try and
ask each other fun questions.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Good, just so that we're not bored. Yeah, well yeah,
I mean people are gonna tune out.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
What's your favorite vegetables?
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Hopefully we didn't ruin it for them, but let's put
them together and find out if truly blind love.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Let's punch him up here. Laurie, are you.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
There, Hie, I'm here okay.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
And Troy are you there?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Hello there?
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Okay, we're stepping away now and we're gonna let you
to talk. So why don't you introduce yourselves?
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Go ahead, ladies first, please, Oh my gosh, no, you first? Okay,
all right, this is really weird. Okay, I'm Troy. I'm
a copywriter.
Speaker 7 (04:39):
Well, my name is Laurie, and I'd like you to
remain vigilant to hear more about me.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Interesting, Okay, is a sexy talker.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
What is the weirdest compliment you've ever gotten?
Speaker 5 (05:00):
Okay, it's one time I went to this baque thing
for an old child of mine and this woman came
up to me and she said that at the time
I had a really nice bear. I'm clean shaven at
the moment, but she told me that my beard looked
like I could be like a cult leader if I
(05:21):
wanted to.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
And I.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Don't know if that's a good thing.
Speaker 7 (05:25):
Or not, So why would you shave it?
Speaker 1 (05:30):
You know?
Speaker 5 (05:31):
I think too much power, you know.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Okay, Laurie's looking for a cult to join.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Okay, all right, let me get one for you. What
was the most embarrassing date that you've ever gone on?
Speaker 7 (05:50):
Okay, well, that one's easy. So a few years ago,
I want to ask this, like fancy restaurant with this guy,
and midway through, my mother shows up and she was
on her own dates.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Oh I know.
Speaker 7 (06:05):
I know, And it was so weird because she made
this huge scene and she's like laughing at we're both
like single ladies, and she whispers in my air about
like what name she thinks would be like the perfect
grandchildren names.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
See it out, Grandma, I take it down and not
please exactly tell you. So this one time I decided
I'd do this kind of impulsive, grand romantic gesture and
saw some really nice flowers, hoped the fence, and my
pants got caught. I got a big hole right in
(06:40):
the back. I had to wear scarf the rest of
the night.
Speaker 7 (06:44):
Oh you had a scarf, But what about down below?
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah, no, that's where I had to put the scarf.
Speaker 7 (06:52):
Oh my god. But I do like that you enjoy
grand gestures.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
I'm a total sat I'm a romantic at heart for sure.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
All Right, so we might work out after.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
We have time for one last question, Laurie, do you
have an.
Speaker 7 (07:13):
What's your favorite memory of childhood?
Speaker 5 (07:16):
Okay, okay, that's that is a really good one. I
do have a good memory for this one. I remember
were growing up that my family we go to this
like old cabin, like this campground that had a bunch
of cabins in the woods. There's this big like nesshole
cafeteria and it was like perfect family reunion. So I
(07:37):
bnded a bunch of cabins.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
I'm so sorry for interrupting you, but I had such
a similar experience. So I'm just over here like, that's crazy.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Oh, so like you had a big family to them?
Speaker 7 (07:50):
Oh my god, have a really big family and we
do the exact same thing for so weird.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
Oh no, it's fun though. I remember I would like
fit there on my Grandpa Richard's laugh, you know, just
eat them. I can't say.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
I had a.
Speaker 7 (08:06):
Grandpa Richard too, that's so weird.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Oh no, no way, he was married to.
Speaker 7 (08:12):
My grandma Eileen. She was just awesome.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Oh that's a that's a pretty weird coincidence. Yes, Grandpa
Richard also married and Eileen. Wait.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Wait, that's not a coincidence then, I mean, what.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
What has happened?
Speaker 5 (08:31):
I don't know. So this wasn't all in like central Oregon?
Speaker 7 (08:34):
Was it?
Speaker 5 (08:35):
Oh my god?
Speaker 3 (08:37):
What?
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Wait? What? Look your family's last name?
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Okay, let's cut the romantic music as quickly as possible.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
God, okay, hold on, Wow.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Is everyone thinking the same thing that she was just
hitting on her cousin?
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yeah, it don't sound so excited when you say it.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Wait, wait, are you little Lori Parker?
Speaker 7 (09:07):
Oh god, I'm not little anymore. Oh my gosh, grown up?
Speaker 1 (09:12):
But a wasted time.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
I'm scarred.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
Well, I would thought you would want to continue with
this more than anybody.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
It means they have chemistry.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah, there definitely was a clear connection happening. I didn't
know it was a family connection. Okay, yeah, move it up.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
To a male cousin to not know who is relatives, right, yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
All right, Well we got to at least ask the
audience setection to seven eighty five nine two if they
felt a spark going.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Now, you know, I'm glad the spark wasn't that strong.
Got along great like cousins do.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Yet, No, exactly, we met each other decades ago. We've
known each other. That's why we have the connection.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Ory is really regretting that giggle and saying I think.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
Yeah, you know what.
Speaker 7 (09:58):
I feel like he should be way more in bad
than me because I was younger.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
So, yeah, Troy, you create what are you doing?
Speaker 7 (10:07):
I am literally texting like a whole cousin chat right now.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
I would not wanted my other cousins in on this.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Yeah I didn't know. Okay, you should be married, you're
so old.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
All right, We're gonna let Laurie and Troy go and
work out their issues separately. We're gonna get two new
people and try this again. We'll make sure that they
have the different last names this time.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
When you email us, end your last names. It's an
easy check.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
We're gonna do it with a brand new edition of
Blind Love Is non Cousins coming up right after this,
we are back for part two of Blind Love Is.
We have ditched our previous two callers for two brand
new ones.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
You're not gonna get worse, Jeff feel from here.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
It's a good point. I feel like we need to
put out a big disclaimer. If you believe there's any
any chance you might be related to the other person
on the line, please make that obvious to us.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Maybe we should get this segment sponsored by ancestry dot
com just to.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Do a deep dive before everyone.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Maybe should look in. The sales team needs to get
on that. But like I said, we have two new
people with us right now. Their names are Aaron and Jeremy,
and again these are listeners, sorry.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Aaron and Jared, and I'm like even the.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
Hopefully they are not family members. But also they are
people who've tried to do second date updates with us
that we couldn't complete for them for whatever reason, So
we asked if instead they'd be open to meeting someone
new here on our show without knowing anything about the
other person. They've never seen each other, they don't know
anything about one another. That's why this is truly blind
(11:52):
love is. And let's not forget there's like a lot
of people listening.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
That is true. There's like people listen to her. So
brave to do this. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to
get at. The risk is high. So, Aaron and Jeremy,
are you both there.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
I'm here, all.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Two people on the phone. They are.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Okay, Aaron, just real quick, do you have any cousins
or family members named.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Jeremy that you know?
Speaker 5 (12:20):
We don't do.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Jay's in my bloodline.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Maybe if the connection is good with Jeremy, you'll make
an exception for him.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
But we're just going to back away.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
We are going to stay quiet and let you two
talk for the first time to find out if blind
love truly is. Jeremy, go ahead, say hi, introduce yourself.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Hello, how's it going, Jeremy.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Hi, Jeremy. I'm Aaron.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Hi Aaron.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Hi, Nice to meet you. Jeremy with the J.
Speaker 7 (12:56):
Yeah, Jeremy with a J. Nice meeting you too. Hey,
So to ask you a question?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Okay, Yes, of course.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
So in the last year, what's been a triumph or
ex success that you're really really proud of.
Speaker 6 (13:17):
Oh well, I know this might sound kind of weird,
but I finally got over my ex. It took her
bid Yeah something.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Did you say, got over or got with? I'm sorry,
what with.
Speaker 6 (13:35):
Got over?
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Got over my Okay, I don't think he meant physically. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Good.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
We dated for a couple of years, but she's in
a rear view with some other guys. Yeah, it's over over,
I've moved on.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Okay, all right, moving on is good.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
What's well?
Speaker 3 (13:55):
What about you?
Speaker 6 (13:56):
What's the success that you've had?
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Okay, you know, I'm really proudly because I started taking
cooking sessions six months ago. I've always wanted to be better,
and now like I can make a brownie.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
So cool.
Speaker 6 (14:14):
It's funny. I actually took a cooking class to a
few years ago with somebody who I'm not going to mention,
but it was really it was one romantic and positive memories.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
It was great music memories.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Well, you know, it's positive because I do now know
what not to do if we ever do hang out.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
To those Oh no, no, it's fine, it's fine again.
Like I said, it's in a review. Let's just not
do any jogging locally.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
You don't like jogging. I'm about to go for a
fight right now.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
No, it's great. It's just that a certain person that
is currently doing that. I've seen the photos on social
media with a new person.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
So wait, wait, so like.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Social media.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
I thought you said you've moved on.
Speaker 6 (15:13):
Oh yeah, I totally have. It's just you know, a
warning that we probably shouldn't do that.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Can you just tell me what you're looking for when
you're at her social media?
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Like, oh god, you've moved on?
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Like I mean, listen, you keep saying her. But she
has a name, it's Yvonne, and she's a good person.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Okay, you know what. Yeah, I think let's let's cut
the mark.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
I don't know if this one is going worse or
the first call with.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
The cousins the cousins got along.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Maybe I'm reading it wrong. I don't know, don't think
so Brook, what's your take on this lovely couple?
Speaker 1 (15:54):
O Jeremy. I know you say you're over Yvonne, but
I don't know that you are.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Why Okay, well yeah, again, she does deserve it shouldn't matter.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
She brought it up.
Speaker 6 (16:07):
She was talking about cooking classes.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
It triggered Aaron.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
It wasn't very nice of you to ask him questions
about Aaron.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
How did you feel?
Speaker 3 (16:19):
I'm kind of out of loss for words like it's
ridiculous for me that he says he's over his eggs
and he sends the whole time talking about it.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Her new man, though, So there's no chance that they're
getting back together with her.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
Her name is Yvon.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
We're just trying not to mention.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Look, just forget it, just forget it.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Well, no, look, I'm still going to give you guys
the opportunity to meet up in real life without having
ever seen each other first. There's still some mystery there
because remember this is blind love is yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Yeah, it's not death love is.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
I heard what he said, we have not.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
It sounds like you're not that excited about it, Aaron.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Not at all. He can keep following her on social media.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
We should totally rip off that segment and do it
on our ship.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Doesn't work very well radio, try it and see how media.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
We'll try it.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
I need to find somebody who's ready for a relationship,
and he is clearly not.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
I'm ready for a relationship. I was with you for
a long time. She won't take me back now, so I'm.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Ready desperate for a one almost all. Maybe Jeremy, you
do a little bit more work and we'll have you
back again. For another edition of Blind Love Is, Yeah,
within your family.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
I was thinking, we just need to find him a
woman named Vaughan and then and then she won't know.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
I agree, very.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Very healthy for you, Jeremy. Okay, we got your back, bro,
thanks us.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
I'm going to go join a jogging club.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Okay, he's going back to find her.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
Yea.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
So how was Blind Love Is?
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Make sure text in seven, eight, five nine too if
you want to meet somebody.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
On this very successful segment.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Yes you could be one of our success stories. For
the next edition of Blind Love Is, it's Brook and
Jeffrey in the Morning.
