My name is Nicole Garcia, and on Burn Stage Burn Bridges,
we aim to explore that culture.

It was a huge honor to become a television writer
because it does feel oddly like very traditional. It feels
like Rob Dylan going electric that this is something we've
been doing for tendreds of years.

That's Sierra Teller Ornellis, who with Brotherford Falls, became the
first Native showrunner in television history.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Essentially, it really started out as an office and somewhere
along the way it turned into this full fledged award
winning comic shop and the first native comic shop in
the world.

Like we got nominated for an Eisner Award.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
We came in second like three years in a row
for the Albuquerque.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Best of I was like this, this was interesting about
how this happened.

And that's doctor Lee Francis, the fourth who created the
