Speaker 1 (00:00):
Call It What It Is with Jessica Capshaw and Camille Luddington,
an iHeartRadio podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Well, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello Call It crew, and welcome
to another episode of Call It What It Is.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
It's been a minute, is what it is.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
It's been a minute.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
A minute we've had, we've had, We've had a start
to the summer.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
It's been a it's not even been a stack, you
know what it's been like.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I feel like the beginning of the summer has been
like I've been on I was on a mounting block,
Like I knew that I was starting back like the
other part of work, and I was like, okay, I'm chilling.
I know I'm going to get on the mounting block
soon to do that like Divy dive into summer, you know,
like the racers start, and I knew it was happening,
but I was chilling, hanging out with the kids, thinking

(01:02):
about summer coming up, making the plans, doing this, doing
that that, And then I was like they were like, oh, hey,
it's time to get up on the mounting block because
we're gonna do the start and I'm like, oh yeah, cool,
yeah for sure. Got my little babysit on cute, chucked
it in. All the things got up on the mounting block.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
And I got fucking shot out of a cannon.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah, yeah, you do.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
It wasn't like a diver. I was like a torpedo.
You got torpedoed out. Have we talked, because the truth
is that we hit our one year anniversary. I was
ready to go.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I was.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I was sat with my little podcast, my little coffee.
I was ready for And then Jessica Capshaw was too
busy for me.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
She was she was a Nashville being shot out of
a cannon.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I'm still swimming.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, you're still flying. I'm still in the race.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Can you tell us anything?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I can.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
And what I can tease is well, first of.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
All, I've been reminded that I was not at the
beginning of Grays, so not at the beginning of the Practice,
which would have been the other show I did as
a series regular for a while. So I actually realized
that I've not been at the beginning of a show
in a well in a really long time. Like the
beginnings of shows I did never went. They were pilots

(02:18):
that died.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
So I'm at a beginning.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
For the first time, and in I guess just a
really long time.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
And so there's a real energy to that.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
And the Nashville is incredible. I love it as much
as everyone told me I was going to. Learning about
a city is so interesting and nuanced and it sort
of like opens up all these different pathways in your
brain and all that.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
So getting settled, Jessica called me and she goes, everyone's
so nice here. Yeah, I went in.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
The first thing I noticed was I went into it
with my New York driving energy.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, in your LA probably a little bit.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Well, I don't, oh, but I just know that in
New York, you know, if you would like to get
into the right lane, you're not just turning on your blinker,
You're just turning into your right lane. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
And then somehow I saw magical force.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, other cars like shift and move around you. So
I got there and maybe one of the first days
I realized I had like New York energy while I
was driving, and I.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Think I probably went to do some rude New York move.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I think I probably cut in front of someone and
instead of someone you know, honking at me or flipping
me the bird or being like.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Hey, you asshole.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, whoever it was was like truly stopped and I
swear like rolled down their window with a smile on
their face. Was like, oh, honey, go ahead what.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I'm sorry?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
What?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
They were like no, no, no, you go? Are you in
a hurry? No? No, go ahead?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
And I thought, oh, it was actually a really great
reminder that I needed to reset.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I needed to just slow my role.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I needed to calibrate to where I was instead of
where I was coming from. And I needed to to
just you know, get with the program, get with the
Nashville program. So it's been you know, a new city,
a new place, all that stuff, and then a new
crew and just meeting all these incredible people and just again.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
The energy of a beginning.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Everyone's so willing and able, and also reminded that this
thing we do is not easy, and it's an incredibly
dynamic show. I mean, we've got it's been a minute
since I worked nights. It's been nights, it's been days,
it's been splits and and I mean the things that
this this team is endeavoring to bring to you know,

(04:41):
television in the fall is ambitious and they and they
slash we can do it.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
But it's a lot.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
It's a lot it's a lot of great stuff, but
it's a lot and so from stem to stern, the
team is like from.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Fitting it's just so exacting and so.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Articulate about what they want and all that, and just
getting into the scene work and and creating this family
and then this team outside of it. And it's been
it's been great. It's been really really interesting. It's been
a wild and really fun beginning. We're still in it.
I mean, maybe maybe the whole season will feel like
a beginning. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Is the first episode a little juicy bananas?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
The first three they're bananas?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Okay, so we're back together, and we thought, well.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Well, by the way, can we just speak to that,
because what I just said to Kamila before we got
on was that this morning I was looking at our
breakdown at the episode today and I was with the
girls and with Luke, and I was we were previewing
some of the some of the questions, and I got
so excited, Like we haven't been together for two weeks.
I mean, we've talked on the phone yesterday, but I've

(05:55):
been on the on the zoom, and I got so
excited to see you, like so excited, and we also were.
We were when we were asking the questions. We were like, oh.
The girls were like, what do you think Camila was
gonna say about that? And I was like, I don't know,
We're gonna find out.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
That's so cute. Yes, it's true. So I've been.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I took my you know, weak vacation of the year,
and Jessica and I talked on the phone while I
was there, and I was on the while I was
screaming at.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
My kids on the beach.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, so I'd be screaming and then talking to Jessica
and getting all the updates.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
She sent me a picture of her in her costume
and she looks so chic. Of course, I'm like so
used to her and scrubs and she looks so chic.
And I was already like deciding the campaigns that she needed.
I was like, Chanelle, here we come. And I think
it's like also about me too, do you know what
I mean? It's like it is I'm included in this
somehow of course you are?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Of course you are, and how and how was that
vacation because I do.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Actually, you know what's so funny is like the whole
like it's not a vacation, it's a trip with your kids.
This is the first vacation that I actually was. I
really felt like kind of relaxed with them. I think
they're getting a little bit older, they can travel a
little bit better. Usually, on the last day at vacation
with my children, I'm.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Like, let's get the fuck out of here. Yeah, yeah,
I'm done.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, bags are already packed.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
The bags are packed. I'm like, we're not leaving till tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
But I packed the bags. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.
You can't hide another swim. We're going new And this.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Time I was like a little bit sad.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
But my dad was here. Martin Lannington was here. He's
looking after the dog. So I came home to twenty
water bowls. Are they hydrated? They're hydrated. In fact, I
didn't have a water bowl conversation when I came back
home today or yeah, well last night. He it was
a food bowl conversation. Was very quick though, but he
did have a he had another suggestion. There's all the suggestions.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Did you leave out the suggestion box?

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Well, I was too tired to close it. Too tired
to close it. I forgot that I hadn't closed it,
and he was like, generally just a quick suggestion.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
By the way, it's like two am.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
I'm like, oh my god, like the dogs need their
food balls further apart.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
And then I don't. It's like a whole thing.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I can't even get into it. I'm too tired. But
I'm so happy. Jessica looks gorgeous on them today. And
it's actually a shame that she looks so gorgeous because
she was like, hey, do you want to, like, you know,
let's put our cameras on, and I was like, no,
jess I'm not putting my camera on today. I'm gon
a dog mom sweatshirt literally says dog Mom. And I
look like I've been electrocuted.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
It's not true. She's so wrong. It is true, dude,
it is look at your camera.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Anyway, we decided the best way to come back for.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Our season two of this show. Yeah, let's call it
season two season.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Two that it was a fan Q and A and
ask us anything, and you guys did, and some of
these are absolutely amazing. Okay, LEXI asked us if call
it what it is.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
A mascot, what would.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
It be oot a question? Mm hmmm, what do you
think it would be. I.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
You know, I did well. My kids were very sweet
but also a little sassy. This morning, they're like they
would ask me a question and I would be like hmm,
and I would like think and think and think, and
they're like, you can't be very good on this podcast
if this is how you do it. I was like, well,
there's another person there, so we you know, we workshop it.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
We figured it exactly.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
When mascot I went straight to an animal, and I
was like animal.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
So what I came up with was hmm, I like that.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
I mean, that's what I usually think of want because
I think of a school like a school mascot. And
then I was thinking that I feel like, I feel
like it would be a lion and a tiger because
I feel like I'm a lion and you're a tiger.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
So you get your leo lion, Yeah, but you're a
tiger because.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
You're gonna fish it up.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
You're like whatever, I'm like, no, no, it's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Let's look at them from their perspective.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
You're like, or okay, what about this.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
What if it's like a half the front is a
lie and the back end is a horse because I'm
Sagittarius and so it's a lores are.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
The mascot is a lores or a high on. It
could be a horse head and a lion tush. Yeah,
what is what looks better? Is it kind of like lame?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
If the lines like gra and then the back if
I'm was like a horse but yeah, like not Yeah,
I don't know, but it's a combo. It's a combo.
I think that's great.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
I love that as we're both really we have we.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Actually have You've got to have some lion in your chart.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I do, Actually I do. Yeah I do. I'm Leo Rising. Yeah,
because you clocked it. Yeah, I see, I see, I
see it in you.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I see it in you.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
No, because we're both super duper duper loyal. We are
very loyal.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, so I would say like, because you know you,
I think that we we we aspire to and also
demonstrate strong and loyalty and yeah, and also like a
little bit of h with me, you know what.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Okay, here's here's I love the loss. I do think
it's a losse. The first thing that popped into my
head was just a giant burger, because a burger gate
like a burger with legs.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
But I was like, we're not, Like it works for
the for us becoming friends, but it doesn't, you know,
it's not We're not the Food Network.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
And then the next thing that jumped into my head
was do you remember the pepsi Ad with Beyonce and
Brittany and Pink when they were gladiators? They were hot,
sexy gladiators fish.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
I remember this? Ish Wow, seriously, Well, it's not like
I don't remember something.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Well, it was iconic and they were cool gladiator and
I pictured us as like a like a gladiator.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Hmm, I know, but the loss is better. I know what,
I could see this as gladiators.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
I could maybe that's our next our next marketing Our
next marketing push is gladiator.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah, gladiator sheic, Yeah, gladiator sheet, let's bring it back.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Were there any Gray's plot lines for your character that
you didn't like?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
I you know, I mean the shortness for me?

Speaker 1 (12:30):
No, right, Like, there's always a reason that you had
a storyline and it's it is where it is and
it lives in history, and I'm fine with that.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
I mean, like, like I didn't.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Like the plane crash.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Was it?

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Like?

Speaker 3 (12:45):
No, this is great? No? Did not like.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
I didn't like the season, you know this, and then
the season came after that was tough for Arizona. That
was like not a lot of not a lot of
bubble rainbows in there.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
No, not a fun season. No, No, that was not fun.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
I didn't like when Stephanie and Joe were fighting.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Sometimes like those.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
You know, you don't want your characters to be in
beef with a best friend, and I thought it, you know,
kind of soured their friendship.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Yeah, I would pick.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
That, Stacy.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
What is your current watch for a series or a movie?
I don't know why the stumps be so much. I mean,
I'm watching because I watch with the kids all the time.
So I'm watching like five different things because I just
sit and like, yeah, chilling with them.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Right.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
So at the current time, I'm watching a Pretty Little
Liar season one. I'm watching Modern Family season five million,
I'm watching Funny I dip in and out of what
else is it? Well? Eve is pretty much like she
shows me the hand when I come to Jill. She's

(13:59):
lively Onion television watching Oh.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
She's okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Luke will watch a movie with me.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
He was he was He used to be like.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Eve and now he's come around. They come around everyone,
so we'll watch stuff.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
But I gotta say, I don't know that I've I really.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Want to watch Sirens.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Oh yeah, I want to watch Sirens. I you know what,
I like to pick a documentary. I am watching The
Valley right now, which you need to get into. It's
of course Bravo, and there's drama and I love it.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I love it because I also live in the valley,
so it's like I feel like they're my friends and
that we could go to lunch together, but.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
They just don't know me.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
And then I started the documentary about the Titan Submarine
and I got the heavy GEB's and I so, I've.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Heard a friend of mine also watched that.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
It's too like, I can't there's something. It just creeps
me out too much, and so I had to stop.
But I might get back into it because I do
love a good documentary. You do, I do? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yeah, you do?

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (15:03):
I like this one. If you had one superpower, what
would it be?

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (15:08):
I mean that's easy. I would fly, you wouldn't teleport,
I would heal?

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Are you serious? I wish you could see the face
that she just got.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
And the hand motion she just did like wax on
wax off with her hands.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
I did like a first of her hands with her hands,
she would eat. I thought the one. Here's what I
thought was going to happen. I thought I was gonna
say I.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Would heal, and Jessica's going to like, oh my god,
come on, that is really amazing and like really kind
of selfless because you could pick flying, but you've picked
to heal people and instead she's kissing her pants. Dude, well,
what are you going to pick something selfish? It would
like I would look so gorgeous forever I'm busy over

(15:55):
hereing healing the world.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Come on, then I can't who Okay, I don't know.
I seriously don't know why.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
It was so funny.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
Honestly, it's a suthing.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
It was your face and it was the hand motion.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
It was just like you really wanted me.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
To like stop for this moment, which it was like
you knew you were going to say something selfless.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
You didn't just say something seless. I wanted you to
really get that envision it.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
So what I did, because I'm not recording today because
I look crazy, what I did is I reached my
hand out to the camera, so just could so it
just did get healed.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Through the zoom. I saw the palm of her hand
and she blessed me with it, and I bless you.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
I don't understand what is yours? Okay, Well, now.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
That we've gotten out of our system, my superpower that
I was thinking about would be too. I mean, now
we can't take it serious.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Now you can't take it serious.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Okay. So at the top of my list would be teleportation.
So for how do you know that I wouldn't. I
wasn't teleporting to go save someone.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
How are you helping the world with teleporting yourself?

Speaker 1 (17:12):
But if I'm getting somewhere really fast, so I can
help someone real quick because they need me.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
No you they need me. No, you're gonna get there. Okay,
So someone's hurt. This is where the loress comes in.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
They need both of us.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
No, you're gonna teleport and they're gonna be like, oh
my god, my arm came off.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
You get on my back and I'll teleport and you
can then heal.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Okay, I kept piggyback on you. But if it's just
you teleporting, then someone's arms come off. What are you
gonna do when.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
You land nothing. I could actually do something. This is so.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
You're just saying, see, okay, anyways, inserting yourself and people's business.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
I'm teleporting to where I need to be. It's none
of your business where I need to be. By the way,
I'm teleporting to be where I need to be. And
then the runner up would be that I could stop time.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Okay, stop stop.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yeah, that's just ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Oh god, I found out I got a guest part,
and I'm not joking. I think I got down on
my knees and kissed the ground. I was so excited.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I okay when I found out I got the role. Yeah,
I basically kissed the ground too, Are you kidding me?
I was so I was floored it was.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
It honestly happened so fast too that it sort of
was like an out of body experience. And then when
you land on that set and it really looks like
a hospital, really does.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Feel like it's an out of body experience.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah, and it's all just so well set up, so
you're like, oh, okay, here we go.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
You're not on social media like I am, but Bethany
Frankel right now is doing a series on her TikTok
called Supermodel Snacks, and I swear to god, every single
one looks amazing. But that's what I'm doing. I'm watching
Bethany Frankels Supermodel Snacks. I'm making them.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Oh you're making super model Okay, I snacky wise when
we go, we actually have started just buying eight bags.
At first, we were like, I'll just buy one or two,
but then we just realized this is silly. Let's not
pretend that we're not eating eleven bags of the Trader
Joe's Organic.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
They're like organic Talkies.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
They're like the Talkies, but they're oh yeah, organic version whatever.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
So good.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
We've been eating a lot of those. And then also.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
The Good Culture cottage cheese.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yo.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yum, yum, yum.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
It's really good.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Sometimes I dip a tacky into some kind of gross
people out.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
I don't know, I know, I don't think, so I
don't say little yeah works for me.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Yeah. And then also I have to say.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
I'm loving the little protein snack packs, especially now that
I'm like going into work and I need to grab something.
Yeah yeahs to.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Me, though. It has to be the cashew one Okay,
has to have the Cashew's in it.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Oh, when I really really I found I don't normally
like bars. I'm just not a bar person, and I
feel like I've just always been sold this idea that
a bar is a meal replacement, and I'm like, no,
I'd like a bar, and then I'd like a meal.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
So I they're.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Called bear Bells and they are actually delicious in every flavor.
But I really like the cookie dough one and it
tastes I mean, I don't even know how to explain,
but it tastes really, really really good.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
And I'm I feel like I keep hearing about these
David's bars. No, I haven't tried those, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
I've been needing to get food a little bit more
on the go because life's just been a little more
unpredictable and on the go, and so I've been trying
to figure out the things that are a little more portable.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I like this.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Listen, everybody needs portable snacks. Hello, yep, yep, yep, yep. Okay,
what's the favorite country? What's your favorite country? Beatrice is
wanting to know what the favorite country you've been to?

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Is.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Wow, that's hard easy for me?

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Is it? Where? Yeah? France because France has Paris.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I mean I could also say Italy because Italy has
Rome and Florence, but either one of those.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
My favorite country.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
I loved Portugal. I haven't been there since I was little.
Oh but I love Portugal. I love Spain, Love Spain.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I don't know. That's hard. Emmy asks. Do you think
you two would have been friends in high school?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Oh, if there was more than one hundred percent, which
there isn't.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Yes, yeah, I wonder if you would have got a
lot of trouble.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
The problem is is we First off, if we had
been in class together, we would have failed. Zero percent
chance of learning anything, No, zero, so much note sending.
Oh my gosh, it would be so much on though.
Oh yeah it would be yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
There's no reason we wouldn't have been friends.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
No, it would have had and we would have been Yeah,
we would have been great.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
There's a show called Alexa and Katie and it's so, so,
so good, and it's about these best friends that are
truly it's just the most remarkable example of friendship. And
I think that you know, when we talk to the crew,
and when we hear from everyone, and when we.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Think about or when I think about.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
My life, I think, you know, where would you be
without these incredible female.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Friendships that you have or even just friendships?

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Right, they have an incredible, incredible friendship and they live
next door each other, and they have a treehouse in
between them, and they meet in the tree house. And
I always think like, oh my gosh, like if we
lived on the same street and we could like meet
in between, I think that our families would be like
where did they go?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Oh my god, can you imagine an adult treehouse for us?
I had like some wine in there and some.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Like I'm like, somehow you had a mini fridge in there?

Speaker 1 (23:14):
You had like an adult Then this sounds like, you know,
X rated, But if you had like an adult house
in between your two family houses.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, me and me in the adult house exactly right.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Oh my god, this is a great Maybe this is
a thing.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Maybe this is a thing you build it it's an annex.
It's an annex. Yes, it's like a room inside of
a bridge. Yes, come come me me in the adult house.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Teleport in their dress.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Julie asked if you could work with Camila again in
any genre of film or TV, which when would you
choose comedy, Oh.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
My god, please.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Me and Jess doing like a sort of like brides
Maid ye or just or like.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
A I hangover.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
I see us doing like being in some situation where
it's like everything is turned on its side. Yes, and
and and we're in like an altr universe and we
have to figure our.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Way out of it. That's yes, yeah, exactly, it would
have to be comedy. Are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Or it's like we're superheroes, but we're like shitty, like
we're crap, like we're just bad at the job.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Honestly, this is really you're on one today about healing
and superhero status. Well, I mean well yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Okay, uh Colleen, all time favorite Taylor Stuff song long
Live I Think Out of the Woods.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Love that one. It's so good it comes on you're like, yeah,
let's go. I also really like the ten minute Jake
Jill and Hot one. Yeah about the scarf, Yeah, yeah,
we're back that scarf. That's what it's called.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
I have a dam scarf. You're gonna you're gonna appreciate
this about You're gonna appreciate this about me? God?

Speaker 2 (25:24):
What this this this podcast is a mess.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Okay, So you.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Know, I go to Nashville, and of course I'm like working,
but then there was a there was and so I'm working,
but I'm commuting. I'm going, you know, back and forth
from New York to Nashville. And I had a week
where I was working on a Friday and a Monday,
and so there really wasn't time to go home to
New York, and so I stayed. And then I went
with my friend for a walk in this beautiful park
called Percy Warner Park. And we're like walking along and

(25:51):
we're talking and we're saving the you know, solving the
world's problems about this, that and the other. And I
look up and there's a couple. There's a two women
walking towards me. And I was like, oh, there's no.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Cool kid man.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
And I was like, Nicole, stop, is this real? This
is a dreamers is a real thing, you know, no
cool kidman?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Hi? And I was like, Hi, do you know her? Yes?
You guys, this is what this is? Like.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
What is so strange about being friends with Jessica Capshaw? Okay,
these are not normal conversations whatsoever. And Jessica, so Jessica
is like just having this conversation on this podcast right now,
this is her life and she's like, so I was like,
oh my god, Cheryl. I know Cheryl Crow. So I
just like text her real quick. It's like I know
nobody ever. And Jessica always.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Like, this is not normal. This is but this is.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
What I love about you because I am cool by association.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
No, but it's not even like I think I'm cool,
and I think that that's the thing that I think,
and I would. I don't know if anyone else will
receive it this way, but the reason, but the way
that it's intended is like I think they're just people
that I know in my life. And so when I
was walking down the street and I see this huge
storefront for Draper James, I'm like, oh my gosh, my
friend Reese's stores here and it's so big, it's so beautiful.

(27:12):
And I've been texting with her because she lives in
Nashville too, and so she has all the tips and tricks,
and I was like, Okay, so what do I do here?
And how do I go? What neighborhood do you think?
And what's the best this place?

Speaker 3 (27:22):
You know all that.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
So I felt very helped by people. But every time
I would think of someone. I did think it was famous,
and then you.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Were like, oh my god, Oprah. Yeah. Then I was
like Oprah, Yeah for sure. So yeah, so I'm put in.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Together at dinner. We'm put in together at dinner.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
I'll send you a picture I'm not part of. I
can't wait for that.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
That's great.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Skyler asked if you could REFILM one Grace episode, what
would it be and why?

Speaker 1 (27:50):
M M.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
My answer would be I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, they're all perfectly imperfect.

Speaker 6 (27:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
I watch it and there's definitely things where I'm like, oh,
like about whatever fill in the blank. But I think
that there. You know, life isn't perfect and it's not
supposed to be, and so they were what they were
and I respect them for what they are those episodes.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. Okay.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Tatiana asked if you had to switch lives for a day,
what's the first thing you'd do as each other?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Ah you first? Oh my god, that's a great question. Okay.
Oh oh oh.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
I would take out all of your jewelry and I
would wear every single piece all at once, yeah, the
whole Yeah, everything.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
I was going to say. I would go shopping. Oh yeah,
but hang on the stuff.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Would you get to keep it when you went back
to your library?

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Is it mine? No, it's mine.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
I ordered it. I was you for the day and
I ordered it. Or I bought it and then I
took it home to my house. I'll bring it backpack
when i'm you for the day.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Or are you all?

Speaker 2 (29:01):
I'm no, no, no, that is I do like that. I
do like spending your money for sure. Yeahmez here, I come, here,
we go. Okay, this is the last question, Jess. This
is a serious one. I want you to really think
about it.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
I'm gonna okay.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Ashley asked if there was a zombie apocalypse, would you
trust each other to stay alive?

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Absolutely, You're not gonna like my answer. Oh wow, here's
the thing about you in a zombie apocalypse.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
I think I'd be quite good because I think I'd
be like, I'd make quick decisions right like we're gonna
head out. You're a little bit of a planner, and
I think that you'd be like, wait, let's really think
about this. If we have to run to the mall
then and then go to this car and then into
this bunker, and by the time you're done blabbing on

(29:55):
about the planet we've been bitten.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Mm hmm. I am quite quick.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I'd be like, grab your bag, we're just gonna go
run over there first, and then you know, like I can.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
But you liked to really sort of plan more, and
I think that would get us killed.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Mmmmmm hmmmmm.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Okay, all right, I don't have a response.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
You don't because you know it's true, and that's fine.
I'm listening to what you're saying. Yeah, two things can
be true. You can think that I.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Can know the ninja mode that I go into when
she gets real, and I've got cat like reflexes.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I'm watching you do the moves to cat like reflexes,
and I honestly I feel like, for sure we'd die.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
No, like I'm less sold.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
No, no, no, no, I do not accept your answer.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Are you telling me that you are a little type A?
You're telling me I am very.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Good in an emergency, which is why I feel that
I would be very good in a zombie apocalypse.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
You would be get up and go.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yes, you wouldn't have to just have a quick conversation
about it.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
No, there's no time for thinking you could die.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Okay, look at me, like that, die die dead.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Okay, I thought, honestly she would get us killed with
all her planning.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Nope, I'm gonna whip out some surprise moves.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
She says, she's stealthy like a cat when there's zombies around.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I've got some surprise. You know what, You're the only
one that's got moves. Wow.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Good for you, they do yours just come out in
a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
All right.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Well, I couldn't be happier to be with you.

Speaker 6 (31:44):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
I've learned a lot about myself and you today, which
is what you know. Bonus to this is to having
a podcast together. And some of it's been good, some
of it not so good. But you know, that's what
conversation and repair is for. Let's call it JUSS. The
