Speaker 1 (00:00):
I also think it's really good.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
I mean, you bring up a great point to hang
out with people kind of who have a positive mindset, because,
like you said, you and I can get down a
real dark hole pretty quick on our own, and we
kind of rely on each other to bring the other
side of it out.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Calm Down with Erin and Carissa is a production of iHeartRadio.
Thank God. Hey, I just want to put it out there.
I'm a spreader.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
I got charissas sick, I got even Jared sick.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
You better sup it right now? We are just fine.
I feel it's so bad.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Well thank you if you are.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Because Jared apparently wants to admit himself into a hospital
he has a cold.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
You know, men don't handle it. Have see what refuses
to take any medicine. And I was like, so you
don't want to get better, so you want to just
keep talking about being sick, but you don't. Not me.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Look at me.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
I'll carry this day quel around all day long. But
that's not going to talk about right now. No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Because this segment sponsored by Macy's.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Well sorry, but we'll talk about this on the PIC show.
I think because you got an nad you're going to
be a okay soon.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Well, we're not signing. Nad's here, n DA's and DA's here.
All bets are off. Here we go, you guys. This
segment is brought to you by Macy's. Aaron question from
Sarah J. Mother's Day. I struggle every year what kind
of gifts are we giving out this year? Well, Sarah J,
let's start with the mother here on this podcast. Aaron
(01:29):
Jill Andrews go, what do you want my Mother's Day?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I wish I could answer this candidly. AnyWho from Macy's.
What could you get me from Macy's My god?
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Anything?
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I think we talked about it last week. I have
so many pictures that I want to update. There's so
many more pictures I want to put out frames. I
think frames would be good. It's been a year, it's
been almost two years with Mac and we just have
so many new photos and stuff and some fun photos
from trips I've taken with Chrissa and friends, and.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I think they're great. Yeah, anything personal, I like that.
I like that it's you know, and we talked about
it earlier too, or that like any kind of gift
basket of all your favorite things, and Macy's has everything,
whether it's like fun pajama sets or.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
You can do some perfume.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
I like when someone in court like whenever you and
I are like, I like that's my Like, that's mouth.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
We'll get about sharing perfumes with each other.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
A new scent is always good, so I like you're
a new cent a lot, Thank you so much available Macy's,
Sarah Jay. So just get your mom a or whoever
you're buying for a gift basket full of stuff that
you know that she likes, and you can get all
of that assortment at Macy's as they offer everything. Because
remember it right now, Macy's has it all. Twenty five
percent off on Mother's Day gifts, So now is a
(02:50):
good time.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Next question, girl, I also thought of something else that
I'd really like. What towels? I know it's not as
sexy gift.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Who's gonna say no to like s for eight brand
new towels?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, they love new towels and even outside towels. Great.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Remember twenty five percent off Mother's Day gifts? All right,
Courtney w five to one five? How often do you
guys hang out? Not as much as I would like? Fine,
I get we say wet our good doses in.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, we between work stuff that we do and between
just making time. We have emphasized this that our circle
gets smaller and smaller as we get older. Now we
are a year older being at our birthdays in the
rear view mirror. But yeah, I think you make time
for the people that you want to make time for,
and whether that's something as simple as like the other
(03:41):
day when we went over and we did a health
day together. Yeah, and wet, that was great, knock it off.
We don't live that far apart from each other. But
I also think it's good to put things on the calendar,
whether that's a trip which we've got coming up, or
some fun like date nights things like that. So yeah,
we hang out as as much as we can, but
it could always be more S three S three th
(04:05):
wow seven five seven. Crushing on this girl, I start
most chats laying low to see if she will engage me.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Bad move. Okay, I like this.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
So you're into this girl, you're crushing on her, but
you initiate most of the chats.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I like a guy that is going to make it
very obvious that he likes me, not in an annoying way,
because if you're sending if there's a lot of I
always say this in a tech chain, if there's a
lot of blue and there's not a lot of the gray,
we need to ease off the old gas petal. Yeah,
but if you're initiating the chats, that's fine. That shows
that you're interested. But is she just like sending you
(04:40):
one word responses? Is she sending you like you need
to do something to keep the conversation and the activities
like moving forward? Like you need to plan something because
it's one thing to just talk, it's another thing to
be like, hey, what are you doing on Tuesday? Or
you around on Thursday? Do you want to go do something?
Because just like the back and forth after a while,
I know, the very limited time I was actually dating,
(05:01):
I would hate it when it just be like penpal shit,
I'm like, are we doing something?
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Are we not doing something?
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Like you're the guy, you make the plan and if
I'm on board, then I'll just come in and come
up with ideas.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
But I like when the guy initiates it.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, I I have a question, how long have you
been starting up the chats and laying whoa, because if
it's been a while.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
And maybe time to either say, hey, what are we good?
Are we moving? You know?
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Or maybe time for you to move on? Yeah, just
a thought, all right, Anonymous?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
I think I don't get this, Anonymous, I think my
bff is the other woman for her boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
I don't have proof? Should I dig in? I don't
get this? What am I missing?
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I think my best friend is the other woman? Does
she mean for her boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Like for like girl? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Like it's like if we're best friends and a friend
or the other woman ship with someone else and she's
the side girl. Wait what?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Oh okay, so let's let's now that we understand the question.
Let's let's wait. Hold on, I let open this chet.
So she's she's the side piece. Boyfriend is in a
relationship with someone else's side girl. Yeah, she doesn't know it.
Crushing on this? Oh? I mean I think my bff
is the other woman, but she doesn't approve. How do
(06:33):
you prove that? I know?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Think that, Kurt. You gotta be sure, you do. You
have to be sure.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
You can't just go around and brown grenades into a
building and then like run away. If you have no idea.
What we we've got to. This is where you need
the friend you know who's really good at this. My girlfriend,
you know her, Jen Green is like a detective. You
give her like two pieces of information and this beach
has like a social Security number in five seconds.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
So find out. We need some more information.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
We need to get like get that trench coat on
and pink panther this bitch, because we got to find out.
I also what like if you have again we need
more information, but like if you initiate it within the
sense of like come up with like a fake account,
like a fake Instagram account or something like that, and
(07:26):
then start dming the person, like start seeing if they
you know how Ryan's roses? Did you ever watch that
or listen to that on the radio with Ryan Seacrest,
where like he would like send out roses and then
the people would like you think, like oh, they're going
to send him to their wife, and he's like, oh,
I'd like to send it to Sarah Smith off you
know Van Eyes. That's Sarah Smith the mistress. Okay, so
now we've so we need hated listening to that. I
(07:48):
know it was always always so afraid, so afraid, but
it also, why are people not catching onto this like situation?
So yeah, so I think i'd beffis the other woman
for rare boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
I don't have proof. I dig in. You got to
get more information. It's as simple as that. You got
to be sure. As Kurt says, Yep, we've got Paganator.
What a great name.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
How often do you gals get facials? Your skin always
looks great? Well, you're very sweet, Paganator. I probably go
because once I'm out here ranch in there's a little dirt.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I go probably every three weeks.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
I would say, yeah, right, I just got a double
laser done, and now I'm in the process. I got
a BBL and a moxie and now I'm in the stages.
I have a ton of makeup on right now. Jamie
Makeup wanted to absolutely kill me because I have this
part is appealing mu skin. It looks like coffee grounds
all over my face.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay. He literally was like, why do we do things
like this when we are then doing a shoot.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
I'm like, cause the shot came up after the laser, right,
that's how expiation situation like?
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Is it one of those where you got to let
it go? But I today, I derma flash because derma
blaze whatever, because I was trying to get it off
for Jamie. But yeah, it's full blown, like sandpaper on
my face. I'm excited to see what my new skin
will look like.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
How does it feel overall other than like, oh it does.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Even in the newer areas, no new areas so thin,
but like right now I have a little piece of
skin hanging off my nose.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I can see it. But whatever. Whatever.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yeah, So I think I facials all depend on what
you're doing and if I'm outside a lot or like
when I fried my skin two weeks ago or whatever
it was, I was like, I need to hydrate this beach.
So yeah, just I mean it's all cliche, but wear sunscreen,
drink a lot of water, and I do like a
hydro facial. When I walk out of there, I feel
like a new gal.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
So O, Donna, Donna Hope Sound Chamber, thank you for
recommending the book. Let them.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
But I'm still worrying. Are you guys help? I worry
all the time.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
I think that is a like most things in life,
it's practice. Yeah, it's not just something that because you
read the book that you're just a changed person.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
I was talking to my niece about this. My niece
man got the tattoo. Let them.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
She's like, it's something Melissa. She was like, you have
to just remind yourself, you know, constantly. You and I
are pretty good about that. Actually, We'll start going down
the old rabbit hole and then I'm like, hey, Alice
in Wonderland, Pikaboo, come on, let them do their shit.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Let that.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
So I think it's helpful to have other people in
your life that are adopting that same philosophy to get
you out of your vortex. But yeah, it's like most things,
you just have to keep reminding yourself that some of
these things are external and you can't control them. So
I don't think that you're alone in this whole situation.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
I also think it's really good.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
I mean, you bring up a great point to hang
out with people kind of who have a positive mindset, because,
like you said, you and I can get down a
real dark hole pretty quick on our own, and we
kind of rely on each other to bring the other
side of it out. Okay, I know you feel this way,
but think about it this way. And I remember I
to hang out with this girl in high school who
is a real fing Debbie.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Downer And it drove my parents crazy.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
My dad was always like, she's got a puss on
her face twenty four to seven, and then he was like,
look at her mother, she's even worse. So I yeah,
and I noticed that everything around her was so ho hum.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
It was just a crappy place to be.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
So maybe look at the people you're hanging out with
and you're talking to your issues with, because they may
not be helping the situation at all.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Absolutely, and that's something that you and I have discussed
and even have, you know, weeded out some friends in
my life because and I'm not saying that I'm always
fucking sunshine and rainbows, but there does come a point
where it's like, look, your friends are there, so you
can vent to them.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
That's fine, But we also need to find.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
A little bit of a gospel like situation in some conversations.
So not every day is like a you know, doomsday.
It's not doomsday. When you go to Macy's, especially for
Mother's Day. You guys, don't forget to get all of
your mother's day. It doesn't even your mother's My girlfriend

(12:06):
