they were great. But yeah, I kept staring at her skin,

CEOs of like the CEOs of companies that I know,
they respond right away. That's like why they're the CEO

the most successful people in business, I know are very

quick to respond, and that's just maybe it's a coincidence,
maybe it's not. I don't think though, that this world
that we live in where it's like, if you don't
respond to a text right away, or you don't respond
to an email right away if it's not urgent, this
feeling that you have to do it with such urgency.
I don't think you should have to. I think twenty
four hours if it's semi important. In fact, forty eight

no one's emailing me anything that that's that pressing that
I need to respond back right away. But it drives
me nets when people text and you don't respond right
away and then you get the hello or the question
mark on the text. Well, now you just guarantee that
I'm never responding to that because I don't need you, Like,
how about this friendly poke? Just moving this up to

the top of your email? No, bitch, I saw it
at the bottom of the email. Now I'm moving you
even further down the chain of command because I don't
need you to give me a friendly poke to respond
to your email. That's not even important. Also, that word

and a half and I want to go back. I
know same. We were talking about that this morning as
we were leaving each other voice notes, as I was
at the vet again. I'm at the vet every other day. Well,

conspiracy situation, I got going on. I got questions about
that grumor. Did you see that one video of that
rumor that was like put a pin in that we'll
circle back. Willis had a situation and I needed an investigation.

to your first day of school, what do you wish
someone would have told you, Oh, first day of school.
You know I'm going to wear up, Yeah, get some

I don't I was so young first day of school. Yeah,
I mean my first day of school memories was always

my mom would make a stand in front. We had
a red door on our house growing up, and she'd
always make a stand in front of the red door
and take a picture. And I was always really excited
because I got a new school outfit and I laid
it out on the bed the night before. And then
I remember I always feeling like some anticipation of like
what my teacher, and then you know who's in your class,
so then you're excited about the people that are where

you're going to sit in the class. And then my
dad would always say to me when I every morning
before I went to school, he would always say, say
something nice to someone today. So I think that in
this particular case, if they're asking if I could go back,
I would just say at any point in life, in
school or when you're young, the things that stress you
out or the things that you're worried about will not

matter in the end. All that matters is pay attention
to school, pay you know, do your homework, be a
nice person, and all of the little like petty stuff
of like so and so is mean to me, or
so and so's this, Like it doesn't matter. I mean,
can you think about what you did in fourth grade?
I don't remember that. I just remember like the friends
that I made were like the stuff that I had

to make this little town. It was called shantytown. And
we'd like have cardboard boxes from a refrigerator and we
would make like this little town. And I don't know,
I just remember those things. I don't remember all the
stuff that I would worry about. So, yeah, don't dress

think I was third grade. Maybe we go out to
the car ride line and my mom's picking us up

and I'm like, how's your day? And she was just
all like moody. And that was typical of my sister
when she was little. She was inmoodia, which is hysterical

some of that. And she was like so grumpy and
my mom we got in the car. Oh no, I
think she told me what happened. And I couldn't wait
to open the car door and tell my mom. She

was like walking in a single file line and jumped
over a chair and they pulled her happy face on
the very first day of kindergarten. What does that mean?

you're happy face? GoF polled your first damn kindergarten. She

I remember if you could count to one hundred, you've
got a little cinnamon bear and you'd have to go
in front of the class. I think this is where
I like conquered the fear of getting up and speaking
in front of people. Because my kindergarten teacher, Missus King,

would make us go in front of the class and
we'd have to go, what are those little ryan? You know?
What are they called? When you move the little beads
across the thing, it has a name and you count
to one hundred or you can count to twenty whatever us.

had a week off from doing this podcast together. So

talk about Aaron's time on the Today Show. We've got
to talk about our girl Taylor and her appearance, her groundbreaking,
record shattering appearance on New Heights. And also I laugh

because he trump I responded, though he put a comment,
hey plus once. Meanwhile, he like shattered the internet with
his plus those beauties. Also Aaron and I, I feel
like we've been talking about it for a while, but
it's actually happening. The season is here and we got

so eat fill us in on the time back in
New York with Jenna. What are the highlights? What do
you love about it? You're so good on that show.
I just love watching you. Thank you. One thing I
do want to say, they were so sweet. They brought
my dad out, which was really special. It was supposed
to be a surprise, but then I was texting him
in the morning, I saw his location and I was like,
my dad's in New York. I knew it. Anyways, that's

not the point. The point is, as CHRISA would say,
they are such a welcoming, positive, really cool environment. And
my dad in television forever said that to me, he goes,
what a nice group of people. Listen. It's a grind,
like you know, waking up that early doing a show,
but also it is such a like jewel. It is

so quick, especially when you're going live, but a lot
of times they're filming other day shows too, so it's
like quick go change into your Thursday outfit and you're like, wait,
what day is this? And it really keeps you on
your toes, which is a great thing for you and
I because we like to be you know, we like
things coming at us. Yeah, we can't have like consistency
or we'll lose our minds. So I really love that

about the show, how they're all positive, mostly women, which
is really cool because the women are great. Another thing
you would love is everybody gets together in the makeup
room before you go out there and you kind of
have a run a show and the producers come on
that do each segment and tell you about it and
it's so cute and they're like, hey, guys, this week
we have kid Cutty and he's doing this and he's

doing that, and they kind of give you the rundown
and everyone is so positive. Everyone is so great. I
loved it. It's just really fun and it goes so fast.
Got to hang with Jennifer a little bit, had a
couple of cocktails with I was so jealous. So that's
so fun. You guys went out and had drinks, which
is great. Like it's one thing to fill in on
different shows and you're like, oh, thanks for having me.
It's another thing to actually form them. And I know

this is your second time there. But like, she seems
like I would love to pick that girl's brain on.
Her life is so fascinating. We need a Yellowstone trip
with her. She sounds interested and again her life is
as much as she had asked me about sports in
my life and my past. I'm like, Yo, your grandfather
ruled the you know, the US, and then your dad

had two terms. Then he was you know, before that,
he was the governor of Texas. Like her life is wild.
There's no one else in life that has had a
father and a grandfather be the president of the United
wile like that alone is a headline, like your father
and your how are the we always joke about, like

what are the Mannings? Thanksgivings? Like what are the Bush Thanksgivings? Like?
And Christmas and the stories that they the walls could
talk that can't secret. And she has twin sister, and
like obviously when her dad took over in office like
she was in college, September eleventh happened. I was kind
of talking to her about that. So, yeah, that's a

girls trip. You and I need to do out somewhere
with her because she's she's a lot of fun and
she's just cool. Like what of that, She's very cool.
Before we move on, I just want to say anyone
that hasn't seen the segment with her and her dad,
I was crying watching it. It is just it's really
really special. I think you even hipped it together because

I would have been a complete disaster on everything that
you went through and your dad and of course your
mom and your sister being there every step of the way.
Really really special. So a nice moment for you guys,
and something that, yeah, shout out to the show for
highlighting that for you guys. You know what I did.
It was so fine. You know the Ritz Nomad and
we we love that. Having drinks out like up on

the high rise I took I saw my dad, I
was like, hey, let's go for a drink. And then
we're going to go to dinner. And so we went
and we had a cocktail and I brought him out there.
I've been there a thousand times for work, and I've
never really enjoyed being out there and bringing my dad.
My dad hadn't been to New York and forever. It
was like, this is frightening, but this is amazing. And

then I took my dad to like one of the
hot restaurants right now my hair and makeup people, and
that was so much fun. It was it was. It
was a good couple of days. A shit show. Getting
back delayed three hours on the tarmac and JFKs, there
was bad storms. That was the part where I was like,

Even though we love our own podcast, we can say
whatever we want, but it is it is an asterisk
in the big scheme of things. Yeah, to travel, and
I know I have the luxury because I get to
fly with Al most weeks, and Al has earned the

don't totally don't take that for granted. But travel, that's
why I'm telling you, when you don't have a delay,
or when you don't have to make a connection, you
are like whooh, celebrating because it always seems like a
good idea when there's a delay to have a glass

on the third, and now I'm like, I gotta fuck
it sober up because I still I'm still on the tarmac.

I'm like, no more wine. I haven't even like left
the destination yet. That's that feeling where you're like, oh
my god, week fifteen, but here we go. I know, truly,

guy loves an opportunity to shine bright like a diamond.
He doesn't. You know what's great about Steve. He doesn't

Mercedes over the weekend, like he just naturally finds his

way into the spot, like the life of the party,
and like not in a way of like me where
I'm like like all over the place. He's just like,

when I asked him, I was like, Aaron's gone filling
in for the Today Show? Can you fill in for
the podcast? Goes not a problem, not a problem at all,
So then oh please, you don't have to think. So

then he does this whole I'm going to go to
the podcast studio. I'm like, what podcast studio? Anyways? Ends
up being a conference room. But I love, I love.
I could see why I could do a podcast with
Steve because yes, the same way you could do one
with Jared, because you couldn't. No, what do you mean? No,

what do you mean why? Dove and Jared have two
very different personalities. Yeah, but you couldn't. Really, you couldn't
do like I mean, good, Yeah, I guess I could.
You guys are going to do one. You're going to
do one, and I want to see if it's like
because I actually found it interesting to ask Steve questions

in a setting like this because it's not like you're
just like, you know, you have it, You're not changing
your answers because there's an audience, but it's just different
when it's in this kind of medium. So I found
his answers to be more insightful or like I learned
things that I didn't know about him or that he
found about me in doing a podcast. So you and
Johnny to do it. I know you meant like a

full time show. That's why I was saying, no, I
couldn't do a full time show with Oh see, I
could I could do a full time show. Well, yes, yeah,
I agree with see, but you're not going to No,
And if I can one more time, these guys are
going to start this plus one podcast, I said, Steve,
if you don't actually start this, this is like so
annoying you keep talking about it anyways, if you'd one

more time about how when Taylor went on Travis and
Jason's podcast was like, see, babe, pot plus one plus one. No,
she's not part of your plus one even though I
get it. They were adorable. They told her all about
the plus one podcast when we were together, and it's
been a joke with them because they're like, Taylor, you
are a plus one. You are right, And Travis even

said that and then sometimes he's the plus one. That's
the whole thing about Steve and Jarrett and Taylor and Jeff.
We're all interchangeable plus one sometimes, which is great. That's
the best part about having a partner that has their
own life and their own shit is that you get
to support them in their respective profession. So what I appreciated, though,
is when you're on Jenna and Friends and filling in

that all of this news about Taylor comes out and
I'm like, my girl, put the talk about all this.
The Empire State Building is orange, and I talked to
you that night and we really didn't know, like we
didn't know what was going on, but I had a
feeling when they showed her photo, I was like, Oh,
I bet that's going to be her. So my hotel

room is overlooking the Empire State Building like it's outside,
and I went to bed. I think, like, which felt
late eleven thirty that night because oh, I went out
with my dad, so I saw all this countdown stuff
and I was like, oh, cute, I wonder what's going on.
And then I wake up and it's like yeah, and
the Empire Seat building's orange, and I missed it, and
I was like damn it. This is what we talked

about and even said we her, when did you have
time to make an album? And so as I'm like
bitching about my busy schedule d quotes, I'm like, this
chick was on a tour for two years and then, oh,
I don't know, just on her couple off days would
fly to Sweden like it was no big thing and
make another album. I'm constantly in awe of her work, ethic, her,

I mean, just everything. And yes we know Aaron and
I love Taylor, we got it, but just independent of
herbing Taylor Swift, if you just in a silo wrote
down all the things that this chick does and the
way that she does and the rollout and the professionalism
and the business of Taylor is what we're in not
because you and I obviously where by Aaron Andrews and

house and home and or different things that we take on.
And that's. Yeah, it's a lot of work, but like
I can't imagine, I can. I learned so much just
from even observation and conversation with her about the business
of She's a boss. She's a fucking boss and us
I just when I think I'm tired I'm like, what
would she do? Keep going? We've said that it was

interesting because listen, we've had a chance to discuss with her,
how she attacks things, her team, all of that, which,
again the business side of what she has created and
what she has done is fascinating. And I was, Oh,
I was in New York obviously when it happened, and
Jarrett was back with a bunch of people. They went

to a little golf trip during the day and these
are very very powerful, successful men in fields that we
don't know much about, but we know that they're powerful
and successful. And Jarrett was flipping through his phone and
you couldn't flip through your phone without seeing everything about her,
which is also so fascinating. And he said, the men
that he was with these are men like in their
(25:04):
sixties and their fifties, and you know, they have five houses.
And Jarrett was on a helicopter, which I didn't love.
That's an argument for later. And they were all just like,
she is amazing, and I love that. And I wrote
to you and her that I'm proud to be, you know,
looking up to both of you guys in what you
do in your life, and the fact that men not

associated with music and all that can take a minute
and not be like, oh yeah, here we go, Taylor Early,
this is mind blowing. It is. We were talking about
the fact she decided to go on Travis's podcast, which
we'll get into that in a minute. It was just
another avenue to get the information out, show her humor,
show a side of her a lot of people don't

get to see. It was fucking genius. That's genius all times,
Square was taken over, Orange was everywhere. The fact like,
and I love the part where she was talking about
the Easter Eggs and I shared this with Jared, Like
She's like, if you were into him, you're into them.
If you just want to listen to the music, you
just listen to it. I don't know the Easter Eggs
like a lot of me the yeah, but the fact

the stage is a key that goes into the thing, like,
it's fucking genius. It all is amazing. I was born
a boy by the numerology. Yeah, you know one hundred.
I was like, Okay, these two I can't take it.
But so ke along those lines with that her, you know,
being next to him and the way that he makes
her feel where he can be herself, and it's not

in this gotcha interview or these questions that don't set
her up to be the best version of herself. So
and Jason shout out to Jason that really queations, Jason
great questions, knew when to get in when to get out.
Because also, if you're I guess, moderating that kind of conversation,
you don't want to get in the way, but you
also it's like your job to keep it going. So

I thought the whole thing was great. I'm so glad
that people got to see that side of her that
is exactly who she is and just was so disarming, charming, intelligent,
all the things that we know she is. So yeah,
I thought it was great and he just trav you're adorable.

that we're friends with her, and she just said, oh
my god, this was so great, This was so great,
And I'm like, this is great. I'm like, the girl
is hilarious, hilarious with him, which is you know, he's quick,

the Empire Seat building's orange, and I missed it, and

are very very powerful, successful men in fields that we
don't know much about, but we know that they're powerful
and successful. And Jarrett was flipping through his phone and
you couldn't flip through your phone without seeing everything about her,
which is also so fascinating. And he said, the men
that he was with these are men like in their

sixties and their fifties, and you know, they have five houses.
And Jarrett was on a helicopter, which I didn't love.
That's an argument for later. And they were all just like,
she is amazing, and I love that. And I wrote
to you and her that I'm proud to be, you know,
looking up to both of you guys in what you
do in your life, and the fact that men not

associated with music and all that can take a minute
and not be like, oh yeah, here we go, Taylor Early,
this is mind blowing. It is. We were talking about
the fact she decided to go on Travis's podcast, which
we'll get into that in a minute. It was just
another avenue to get the information out, show her humor,
show a side of her a lot of people don't

get to see. It was fucking genius. That's genius all times,
