Speaker 1 (00:00):
When did you have time to make an album? Is
as I'm like bitching about my busy schedule end quotes.
I'm like this chick was on a tour for two
years and then, oh, I don't know, just on her
couple off days would fly to Sweden like it was
no big thing and make another album. Calm Down with
Erin and Carissa is a production of iHeartRadio Reunited, and
(00:24):
it feels I'm in re entry. I'm in it, I'm
behind me, we're cleaning, we're getting ready, we're moment to moment,
flying by the seat of our pants. So this is
before Aaron and I started. I'm doing the exact same
thing Aaron's doing. Julie just yelled from above. She can't
(00:46):
hear me through all the clothes. Erin and I are
purging so much shit. My girlfriend, Julie, who is the
longtime stylist Extra, she's over here helping us. Then she's
headed to Aaron's house to help her. Julie has gotten
my life. There's tags up there, there's safe pins, we're labeling,
we're doing things. But look at my outfit. How's this going?
Should I so mine? I love my shirt? This is
(01:10):
our new t shirt wearerby you got it, we know.
But a couple of weeks ago, I was talking about
I'm too old of a mom to have these jean shorts,
but it's so friggin' hot outside. I'm like, I don't
have regular shorts, like, and I'm not walking around in
some spandex like, I don't have shorts. No, this mom
should not be wearing these. Hey, you don't get that
(01:37):
on the New Heights podcast. You know what I mean?
Shout out Jason and Trap. Does this outfit look anything
like Taylor's sweet first day of school outfit in her skirt? Yeah, Taylor,
this is what happens when you do a podcast for
five years. You're lucky that you're lucky that we even
have anything on. I love you, all right, let's do
the damn thing, sister. I'm so happy we're back together.
(01:58):
Steve was great and wonderful. How did it go? Bury
the lead? Oh? My god? Well, right now, I don't know.
I'd ask for his comments, but he's not here. No,
we'll talk more about that. He's using your house as
in office, you guys, Steve, Okay, we'll talk about that.
We'll talk about that we have a lot of things
to talk about. I love my man. Yeah, sometimes Aaron's
(02:20):
and re entry in the way of getting back into
our football season. We have a lot to discuss. But
as always, you guys are awesome and writing questions, so
let's get to a couple of them. So Aaron, of
course you were gone last week filling in on Jena
and Friends, which is my favorite thing to do. I
get so excited to watch you on that. So we'll
also talk about that. But Jessica Alba was a guest,
(02:42):
so you start with the first question. Wow, and what
a question this wise, Carolyn Caroline german Ea. Is Jessica
albuskinct in person as perfect as it looks online? Yes,
she is glowing. She is perfect. The hair's perfect, the tan,
(03:02):
the glue, the dress. I even, uh name dropped my
best friend. I was like, in between commercial break, I
was like, hey, my best friend was at the wedding
and this is what she said. Oh, your best friend
is fun. She she was doing splits everywhere. I said, yep,
that's her. And by the way, your body looks amazing
and so does your skin. Yeah, Jessica Alba, she is hot.
(03:25):
Jessica Alba so I've seen her obviously working in the industry.
She just saw her, but like a couple different times,
like different situations, but not even like hangout for three
consecutive days kind of thing. Sure, he is so much fun.
And her daughter was with her, Her daughter was her
day and she was adorable, and she was like just
they were great. But yeah, I kept staring at her skin,
(03:47):
and I was like, how is that real? Yeah, she's really,
she's really. I get what. She was a poster on
a lot of guys walls growing. Yeah, you know what,
Honey is still honey? You know, Yeah, Honey is hunting Chess.
Thompson advice on constant influx of work emails. I can't
take it. I'm losing my mind. I'm all about boundaries
(04:12):
on this kind of stuff. I don't think you have
to respond right away. Okay, two things about this major
CEOs of like the CEOs of companies that I know,
they respond right away. That's like why they're the CEO
of the company. They're very Shout out to Ed, Shout
out to Ed Bastian my Man. I love it. To
Mark Cuban, he will too. There you go. So like
the most successful people in business, I know are very
(04:35):
quick to respond, and that's just maybe it's a coincidence,
maybe it's not. I don't think though, that this world
that we live in where it's like, if you don't
respond to a text right away, or you don't respond
to an email right away if it's not urgent, this
feeling that you have to do it with such urgency.
I don't think you should have to. I think twenty
four hours if it's semi important. In fact, forty eight
(04:56):
no one's emailing me anything that that's that pressing that
I need to respond back right away. But it drives
me nets when people text and you don't respond right
away and then you get the hello or the question
mark on the text. Well, now you just guarantee that
I'm never responding to that because I don't need you, Like,
how about this friendly poke? Just moving this up to
(05:17):
the top of your email? No, bitch, I saw it
at the bottom of the email. Now I'm moving you
even further down the chain of command because I don't
need you to give me a friendly poke to respond
to your email. That's not even important. Also, that word
poke is crazy. Now a little poke coming through next.
That's a good song. Friendly nudge is what I would get.
(05:37):
It's so bad nudge. So what do you think? Do
you think you need to respond right away? No? But
here's where I struggle. I want to get it over with,
Like I just want to get it over with. I
want to answer it so I don't have to hear
about it or think about it later. It's almost like
staying on top of it. But that's part of my
re entry feelings right now. I don't want to say
(05:59):
anxiety because, as mel Robins said, people use that way
too much. I just God, it's it's it's we're Pilon,
We're Pilon. I was in fantasyland for the last month
and a half and I want to go back. I
know same. We were talking about that this morning as
we were leaving each other voice notes, as I was
at the vet again. I'm at the vet every other day. Well,
(06:20):
because this thing on Willis's back, which is a whole
conspiracy situation, I got going on. I got questions about
that grumor. Did you see that one video of that
rumor that was like put a pin in that we'll
circle back. Willis had a situation and I needed an investigation.
Where is Keith Morrison. All right, next is that me? Yeah,
that's you, Meg for On Meg rdeon Jesus. Thinking back
(06:47):
to your first day of school, what do you wish
someone would have told you, Oh, first day of school.
You know I'm going to wear up, Yeah, get some
underwhere some elastic I don't know you have one, and go.
I don't I was so young first day of school. Yeah,
I mean my first day of school memories was always
(07:09):
my mom would make a stand in front. We had
a red door on our house growing up, and she'd
always make a stand in front of the red door
and take a picture. And I was always really excited
because I got a new school outfit and I laid
it out on the bed the night before. And then
I remember I always feeling like some anticipation of like
what my teacher, and then you know who's in your class,
so then you're excited about the people that are where
(07:30):
you're going to sit in the class. And then my
dad would always say to me when I every morning
before I went to school, he would always say, say
something nice to someone today. So I think that in
this particular case, if they're asking if I could go back,
I would just say at any point in life, in
school or when you're young, the things that stress you
out or the things that you're worried about will not
(07:52):
matter in the end. All that matters is pay attention
to school, pay you know, do your homework, be a
nice person, and all of the little like petty stuff
of like so and so is mean to me, or
so and so's this, Like it doesn't matter. I mean,
can you think about what you did in fourth grade?
I don't remember that. I just remember like the friends
that I made were like the stuff that I had
(08:14):
to make this little town. It was called shantytown. And
we'd like have cardboard boxes from a refrigerator and we
would make like this little town. And I don't know,
I just remember those things. I don't remember all the
stuff that I would worry about. So, yeah, don't dress
little story. Kendra Andrews her first day of kindergarten. I
think I was third grade. Maybe we go out to
the car ride line and my mom's picking us up
(08:36):
and I'm like, how's your day? And she was just
all like moody. And that was typical of my sister
when she was little. She was inmoodia, which is hysterical
because she's positive pollie. Now she's made. Yeah, I need
some of that. And she was like so grumpy and
my mom we got in the car. Oh no, I
think she told me what happened. And I couldn't wait
to open the car door and tell my mom. She
(08:56):
was like walking in a single file line and jumped
over a chair and they pulled her happy face on
the very first day of kindergarten. What does that mean?
Her happy face? Bad news bears Like you didn't get
to go home with your happy face, your happy face,
GoF Hold Oh no, Like it's a big joke when
we start drinking as a family. Hey, can't remember when
you're happy face? GoF polled your first damn kindergarten. She
(09:17):
was wrecked. I mean you would have thought she murdered someone.
It was really crazy. That's so sweet. Think about that. Yeah, kindergarten,
I remember if you could count to one hundred, you've
got a little cinnamon bear and you'd have to go
in front of the class. I think this is where
I like conquered the fear of getting up and speaking
in front of people. Because my kindergarten teacher, Missus King,
(09:38):
would make us go in front of the class and
we'd have to go, what are those little ryan? You know?
What are they called? When you move the little beads
across the thing, it has a name and you count
to one hundred or you can count to twenty whatever us.
Thank you, Abacus good exactly why I just ordered this
book off Amazon where it's ten Things you Should Know,
(10:01):
because last night I was trying to think of what
was it called when the world was all one big
land mass before it split up into continence, and it
was I couldn't think of it, and Gia like, yeah,
I think that's the name of it, and I was
like I should I should know the shit. So I'm
having a book delivered. Should be here any minute. Thanks
Jeff for your company Amazon. Ten thousand Things that I
(10:21):
Should Know Advocates is one of them. Thank you. So
i'd count to one hundred and if you've got it,
then you've got a cinnamon bear. And it gave me
so much confidence to stand up in front of a crowd,
even in kindergarten, missus like a pretty Graham that's yeah,
like thet I'm so little and not even enough, oh
my god. But in kindergarten you thought it was like
the biggest thing in the world. Isn't that funny looking
(10:42):
back on like what those things? So yeah to your question,
sweet Megan Forton, I think just like, soak up the memories,
like it could be a cinnamon bear that changes your life,
or it could be a smiley face. You don't know.
Don't stress about the little things. I'm stressing that I'm
not remember anything. I am so grateful. I know you're
doing your NAD today and I'm doing it last tomorrow.
(11:05):
It helps you with cognitive be sharper today. Like I
forgot the name of this restaurant that Jared and I
get like sandwiches from. I'm like, what's it called? You
mentioned fourth grade. I don't remember fourth grade now I'm
so good with that stuff. The oh no, the whole
grade has disappeared from your memory. Maybe I should take
these shorts off. It's probably cutting off my circulation to
my brain. I'm brainspiring on all cylinders with these sweatpants.
(11:32):
You know, they're like everything's breathing. And they'll tell you
why I'm not wearing jeans because that uti is still
can't get God damn it, you know why? Because I
do this? They always say finish, Like, so the symptoms
that you have got to finish the meds. I know,
meds are good, pills are good. Always do that. Where
the symptoms go away, the burning has subsided, the urgency
(11:53):
has gone, I'm like, oh, I don't need to finish
those antibiotics. What's the number one role of an antibiotic? Finish?
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I know, so in ninety nine to be, don't finish last.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I am so excited you guys. Ninety nine to Be
is just a few weeks away. To let everybody know,
right now is the time for a quick insert promo here.
I love a promo. September twenty fourth, nine o'clock eastern,
ninety nine to B. You may have seen the promos
fifteen times during that preseason game yesterday. I love it.
I'm so excited. This is great. This is great. When
(12:33):
you were oh which brings us to Jenna and friends.
Oh yeah, when you were on the show this week
and you were doing the little screw and nutstackers, this
is we gotta we got to get involved here, the
four top, the six top. When you just start playing
these games as a group, because they're all things you
can do at home, right Yep. It's all like different
(12:55):
things you have at your house. Now you may not
have like eight nut bolts or whatever in like at
your house and we got to go get him. But yeah,
these are all games you can play with your friends.
Like it's stuff you have around your house, but there's
a million dollars on the line. I wanted to do it.
We Ken Jong was on the Today Show, which was great,
and we did a game that was a really hard
one and Jenna cheated. I'll call her out on that.
(13:18):
You can cheat. It's her show. Yeah, but I was like,
we should make a bed because you got to make
it like high states. You know, I don't know. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Everyone loves the gambling until they don't anywhay whoa. Okay,
so you guys, Aaron and I have not well, we
had a week off from doing this podcast together. So
shout out to Steve even though yeah he is not
(13:39):
here right now, thank you for filling in. He's adorable
and he's great and I just love him. Now go
get in an office. No, I'm kidding. So we will
talk about Aaron's time on the Today Show. We've got
to talk about our girl Taylor and her appearance, her groundbreaking,
record shattering appearance on New Heights. And also I laugh
with Steve, I go, hey, showing up on New Heights,
(14:02):
you've shown up on Calm Down almost the same, Raking
because he trump I responded, though he put a comment,
hey plus once. Meanwhile, he like shattered the internet with
his plus those beauties. Also Aaron and I, I feel
like we've been talking about it for a while, but
it's actually happening. The season is here and we got
shout outs for Merrit. More on that in a minute,
(14:24):
so eat fill us in on the time back in
New York with Jenna. What are the highlights? What do
you love about it? You're so good on that show.
I just love watching you. Thank you. One thing I
do want to say, they were so sweet. They brought
my dad out, which was really special. It was supposed
to be a surprise, but then I was texting him
in the morning, I saw his location and I was like,
my dad's in New York. I knew it. Anyways, that's
(14:46):
not the point. The point is, as CHRISA would say,
they are such a welcoming, positive, really cool environment. And
my dad in television forever said that to me, he goes,
what a nice group of people. Listen. It's a grind,
like you know, waking up that early doing a show,
but also it is such a like jewel. It is
(15:08):
so quick, especially when you're going live, but a lot
of times they're filming other day shows too, so it's
like quick go change into your Thursday outfit and you're like, wait,
what day is this? And it really keeps you on
your toes, which is a great thing for you and
I because we like to be you know, we like
things coming at us. Yeah, we can't have like consistency
or we'll lose our minds. So I really love that
(15:30):
about the show, how they're all positive, mostly women, which
is really cool because the women are great. Another thing
you would love is everybody gets together in the makeup
room before you go out there and you kind of
have a run a show and the producers come on
that do each segment and tell you about it and
it's so cute and they're like, hey, guys, this week
we have kid Cutty and he's doing this and he's
(15:51):
doing that, and they kind of give you the rundown
and everyone is so positive. Everyone is so great. I
loved it. It's just really fun and it goes so fast.
Got to hang with Jennifer a little bit, had a
couple of cocktails with I was so jealous. So that's
so fun. You guys went out and had drinks, which
is great. Like it's one thing to fill in on
different shows and you're like, oh, thanks for having me.
It's another thing to actually form them. And I know
(16:13):
this is your second time there. But like, she seems
like I would love to pick that girl's brain on.
Her life is so fascinating. We need a Yellowstone trip
with her. She sounds interested and again her life is
as much as she had asked me about sports in
my life and my past. I'm like, Yo, your grandfather
ruled the you know, the US, and then your dad
(16:35):
had two terms. Then he was you know, before that,
he was the governor of Texas. Like her life is wild.
There's no one else in life that has had a
father and a grandfather be the president of the United
wile like that alone is a headline, like your father
and your how are the we always joke about, like
(16:56):
what are the Mannings? Thanksgivings? Like what are the Bush Thanksgivings? Like?
And Christmas and the stories that they the walls could
talk that can't secret. And she has twin sister, and
like obviously when her dad took over in office like
she was in college, September eleventh happened. I was kind
of talking to her about that. So, yeah, that's a
(17:16):
girls trip. You and I need to do out somewhere
with her because she's she's a lot of fun and
she's just cool. Like what of that, She's very cool.
Before we move on, I just want to say anyone
that hasn't seen the segment with her and her dad,
I was crying watching it. It is just it's really
really special. I think you even hipped it together because
(17:37):
I would have been a complete disaster on everything that
you went through and your dad and of course your
mom and your sister being there every step of the way.
Really really special. So a nice moment for you guys,
and something that, yeah, shout out to the show for
highlighting that for you guys. You know what I did.
It was so fine. You know the Ritz Nomad and
we we love that. Having drinks out like up on
(18:00):
the high rise I took I saw my dad, I
was like, hey, let's go for a drink. And then
we're going to go to dinner. And so we went
and we had a cocktail and I brought him out there.
I've been there a thousand times for work, and I've
never really enjoyed being out there and bringing my dad.
My dad hadn't been to New York and forever. It
was like, this is frightening, but this is amazing. And
(18:21):
then I took my dad to like one of the
hot restaurants right now my hair and makeup people, and
that was so much fun. It was it was. It
was a good couple of days. A shit show. Getting
back delayed three hours on the tarmac and JFKs, there
was bad storms. That was the part where I was like,
I'm not I know. I was just gonna say, here
(18:41):
we go and look at I'll just do the disclaimer.
Even though we love our own podcast, we can say
whatever we want, but it is it is an asterisk
in the big scheme of things. Yeah, to travel, and
I know I have the luxury because I get to
fly with Al most weeks, and Al has earned the
right to go fbo not lax on things, So I
(19:01):
don't totally don't take that for granted. But travel, that's
why I'm telling you, when you don't have a delay,
or when you don't have to make a connection, you
are like whooh, celebrating because it always seems like a
good idea when there's a delay to have a glass
of wine. And now you're on the second, now you're
on the third, and now I'm like, I gotta fuck
it sober up because I still I'm still on the tarmac.
(19:21):
I'm like, no more wine. I haven't even like left
the destination yet. That's that feeling where you're like, oh
my god, week fifteen, but here we go. I know, truly,
would you like any more? With Sam? Say no, I'm good,
thank you need to cut me off. Steve Arino filled in,
(19:47):
how was it? Steve's great? Okay, so you know this
guy loves an opportunity to shine bright like a diamond.
He doesn't. You know what's great about Steve. He doesn't
want to be the center of attention. He's not somebody
that liked, oh, I have to be the star, I
have to do whatever. But if you put him in
the position like even this event we went to from
Mercedes over the weekend, like he just naturally finds his
(20:08):
way into the spot, like the life of the party,
and like not in a way of like me where
I'm like like all over the place. He's just like,
he's great. He's a great, great, great plus one. So
when I asked him, I was like, Aaron's gone filling
in for the Today Show? Can you fill in for
the podcast? Goes not a problem, not a problem at all,
So then oh please, you don't have to think. So
(20:28):
then he does this whole I'm going to go to
the podcast studio. I'm like, what podcast studio? Anyways? Ends
up being a conference room. But I love, I love.
I could see why I could do a podcast with
Steve because yes, the same way you could do one
with Jared, because you couldn't. No, what do you mean? No,
(20:48):
what do you mean why? Dove and Jared have two
very different personalities. Yeah, but you couldn't. Really, you couldn't
do like I mean, good, Yeah, I guess I could.
You guys are going to do one. You're going to
do one, and I want to see if it's like
because I actually found it interesting to ask Steve questions
(21:09):
in a setting like this because it's not like you're
just like, you know, you have it, You're not changing
your answers because there's an audience, but it's just different
when it's in this kind of medium. So I found
his answers to be more insightful or like I learned
things that I didn't know about him or that he
found about me in doing a podcast. So you and
Johnny to do it. I know you meant like a
(21:29):
full time show. That's why I was saying, no, I
couldn't do a full time show with Oh see, I
could I could do a full time show. Well, yes, yeah,
I agree with see, but you're not going to No,
And if I can one more time, these guys are
going to start this plus one podcast, I said, Steve,
if you don't actually start this, this is like so
annoying you keep talking about it anyways, if you'd one
(21:51):
more time about how when Taylor went on Travis and
Jason's podcast was like, see, babe, pot plus one plus one. No,
she's not part of your plus one even though I
get it. They were adorable. They told her all about
the plus one podcast when we were together, and it's
been a joke with them because they're like, Taylor, you
are a plus one. You are right, And Travis even
(22:13):
said that and then sometimes he's the plus one. That's
the whole thing about Steve and Jarrett and Taylor and Jeff.
We're all interchangeable plus one sometimes, which is great. That's
the best part about having a partner that has their
own life and their own shit is that you get
to support them in their respective profession. So what I appreciated, though,
is when you're on Jenna and Friends and filling in
(22:33):
that all of this news about Taylor comes out and
I'm like, my girl, put the talk about all this.
The Empire State Building is orange, and I talked to
you that night and we really didn't know, like we
didn't know what was going on, but I had a
feeling when they showed her photo, I was like, Oh,
I bet that's going to be her. So my hotel
(22:54):
room is overlooking the Empire State Building like it's outside,
and I went to bed. I think, like, which felt
late eleven thirty that night because oh, I went out
with my dad, so I saw all this countdown stuff
and I was like, oh, cute, I wonder what's going on.
And then I wake up and it's like yeah, and
the Empire Seat building's orange, and I missed it, and
I was like damn it. This is what we talked
(23:17):
about and even said we her, when did you have
time to make an album? And so as I'm like
bitching about my busy schedule d quotes, I'm like, this
chick was on a tour for two years and then, oh,
I don't know, just on her couple off days would
fly to Sweden like it was no big thing and
make another album. I'm constantly in awe of her work, ethic, her,
(23:39):
I mean, just everything. And yes we know Aaron and
I love Taylor, we got it, but just independent of
herbing Taylor Swift, if you just in a silo wrote
down all the things that this chick does and the
way that she does and the rollout and the professionalism
and the business of Taylor is what we're in not
because you and I obviously where by Aaron Andrews and
(24:00):
house and home and or different things that we take on.
And that's. Yeah, it's a lot of work, but like
I can't imagine, I can. I learned so much just
from even observation and conversation with her about the business
of She's a boss. She's a fucking boss and us
I just when I think I'm tired I'm like, what
would she do? Keep going? We've said that it was
(24:23):
interesting because listen, we've had a chance to discuss with her,
how she attacks things, her team, all of that, which,
again the business side of what she has created and
what she has done is fascinating. And I was, Oh,
I was in New York obviously when it happened, and
Jarrett was back with a bunch of people. They went
(24:43):
to a little golf trip during the day and these
are very very powerful, successful men in fields that we
don't know much about, but we know that they're powerful
and successful. And Jarrett was flipping through his phone and
you couldn't flip through your phone without seeing everything about her,
which is also so fascinating. And he said, the men
that he was with these are men like in their
(25:04):
sixties and their fifties, and you know, they have five houses.
And Jarrett was on a helicopter, which I didn't love.
That's an argument for later. And they were all just like,
she is amazing, and I love that. And I wrote
to you and her that I'm proud to be, you know,
looking up to both of you guys in what you
do in your life, and the fact that men not
(25:26):
associated with music and all that can take a minute
and not be like, oh yeah, here we go, Taylor Early,
this is mind blowing. It is. We were talking about
the fact she decided to go on Travis's podcast, which
we'll get into that in a minute. It was just
another avenue to get the information out, show her humor,
show a side of her a lot of people don't
(25:47):
get to see. It was fucking genius. That's genius all times,
Square was taken over, Orange was everywhere. The fact like,
and I love the part where she was talking about
the Easter Eggs and I shared this with Jared, Like
She's like, if you were into him, you're into them.
If you just want to listen to the music, you
just listen to it. I don't know the Easter Eggs
like a lot of me the yeah, but the fact
(26:10):
the stage is a key that goes into the thing, like,
it's fucking genius. It all is amazing. I was born
a boy by the numerology. Yeah, you know one hundred.
I was like, Okay, these two I can't take it.
But so ke along those lines with that her, you know,
being next to him and the way that he makes
her feel where he can be herself, and it's not
(26:31):
in this gotcha interview or these questions that don't set
her up to be the best version of herself. So
and Jason shout out to Jason that really queations, Jason
great questions, knew when to get in when to get out.
Because also, if you're I guess, moderating that kind of conversation,
you don't want to get in the way, but you
also it's like your job to keep it going. So
(26:53):
I thought the whole thing was great. I'm so glad
that people got to see that side of her that
is exactly who she is and just was so disarming, charming, intelligent,
all the things that we know she is. So yeah,
I thought it was great and he just trav you're adorable.
So love it all. So sweet, the witty humor is
(27:14):
what I was so excited. And you know, Jenna knows
that we're friends with her, and she just said, oh
my god, this was so great, This was so great,
And I'm like, this is great. I'm like, the girl
is hilarious, hilarious with him, which is you know, he's quick,
he's so quick and so funny and so swaggy, and.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
So is she.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
And I was just the amount of personal information that
they you know, showed everyone was wild and also really
cool and probably freeing for her. I loved the response
that everybody was so great, shout out to the Brad
and Chad's life. And I was such a good nudge.
It was so great, And I loved the little humble pie,
(27:57):
you know, I felt like she was kind of being
people subtle. How do you say it? Subtle? She was
subtle about it. Yeah, it was. It was awesome. And
I have you seen all the memes where he's holding
the like, guess what could be the album? Like it's
so cute, like the names, it's adorable. It is really cute.
So we love them. Cute cute, cute? What what else?
(28:19):
What what is? Oh? Oh oh last thing? We'll move
on the ba do Oh my god. We texted her
and we were like good morning, like body Audie heads
to Jim like looking like a million bucks sister, a
(28:40):
million that a great, Yeah, incredible, can't wait to hear it.
I just all of and then when she was like
announcing what the names of all of the songs wore,
I'm like, oh, these are great. Travis chiming in Banger
banger really excited for that. When is it October third?
I think it's October third. We should get together and
listen to it and analyze it. Oh yeah, like everyone else,
(29:02):
who the Taylor Swift Corporation if they want to do
a press tour and like have us you know, it's
part of the album and pros were available. We're so available.
Maybe his poducat studio freaking awesome. Okay, so re entry
(29:26):
back in La Aaron, you've been gone. I think they'll
get one more trip to the branch and then I'm
here for the duration. But yeah, it's finally time. I
know how we enter the season with some mixed emotions
because I love the off season. I love recharging my
proverbial battery. But I also know, like this is how
we afford life. This is how we afford to go
(29:47):
and do things. Is work, and we love work, and
like how grateful we are to have a job that
we like. Watching that preseason game last night, the Bears
Bill's game and hearing Greg and just like you know, well,
it's time, it is time. So how's it going. It's time,
It's it's time. Coming back home was hard. We were
(30:11):
gone for a while. Coming back home was hard because
it's just a different world. It's a different grind, it's
different set of plates. Those plates are so heavy, really
heavy plates. They don't fit in a dishwasher right either.
It's just and then with being home, it's like, oh gosh,
what time do I have to do this? What time
do I have to do this? Miss my workouts though,
have been able to get a couple in. It's good.
(30:34):
I need to lay off my husband a little bit.
I feel like I am in a rush to get
shiz done because I know what's coming on the other
side in September. So I was kind of a little
unbearable that past two days. Well, like, it's friggin' hot
in LA and our house is not keeping up with
the f and you know how I am with the
freaking air conditioning, you guys, this one in the AC
(30:57):
or heat or anything. Yeah, but you know you know
that about yourself. I know I run friggin hot, and
I don't want other people to be hot, and I
need it to work so very well. So I just
am a very attitudey. We've got plants that needed a
new like to be dealt with. We've got We've just
got a light that was flickering, so I need to
lay off him a little bit. I also sucks house.
(31:21):
I'm in that place. This house is O. I've been
in this house for eight years already, oh wow. And
so it's creeping up on that tenure mark where like
the ac was like leaking off the garage and he's
going down the wall where like that needs to be fixed,
like things need to be repainted, and like just stuff
where you're like, oh, like the bathroom, like even all
of them, like because it's black, which I wouldn't have
(31:42):
never picked. This house is very modern, and that's not
really my aesthetic is modern. I bought this house because
I liked the backyard, but like hard floating staircase, like
that's not really even my vibe. But anyways, the black
like fixtures in the bathroom like water after a while,
like watermarks, and I don't know, it's just things like that.
And who wants to spend money on fixing my watch?
(32:04):
I don't, but it's that time where I'm like, I'm
gonna have to start doing it soon. But yeah, anyway
we are doing is purging. You and I were like
in this same vibe over the last twenty four hours
get it out. I was unpacking and I just decided
I was in this mood that if I'm putting stuff in,
I'm taking stuff out, and I'm still not doing a
(32:24):
great job of it, but at least I'm doing some
of it. You're crushing it over there. So with as
I mentioned at the top, my girlfriend Julia, who's upstairs
still and helping me with all this, hi joys, you're
the hangers. She's so organized. And I pride myself on
being an organized person, but not in a like super
(32:46):
meticulous way of like the earrings go in this holder,
and that this and that that. Like I am so
excited to just get rid of all of this shit.
I realize, why do we have so much? Like, yes,
it's a great fortune that like you can buy certain
things and we can have all this stuff. The more
stuff I get, the more I realize I don't need
three fourths of this stuff. I'm so excited to donate.
(33:10):
I'm so excited to sell some of this stuff. And
just like and guess what, I have an entire storage
unit in Nashville still except that house there. I don't
even know what's in the storage unit. It's gotten to
the point in life where and again these are all
oh good problems you'll have. You have so much stuff. No,
it's gluttonous, it's gross. I'm not proud of the fact
that I just have like compiled all the shit and
(33:31):
I can't wait to get rid of it. Because all
this stuff, like even bathroom products, like just stuff from
why do I need seventeen different cleansers. I don't have
eighteen hundred travel size hair sprays and volume I orbeit,
it's like, guess what I got to have a person
on the road. I don't need all this shit, don't
(33:51):
need all of it. Crazy, I'm really excited about that
because then I noticed, like as soon as I started
putting stuff, I'm like trash bag, and I get this
ras the same way. Give me that trash bag. And
I am not attached to things in my life. I've
cut off people and things, and I got no problem
not looking back. You can just actually take all the
rear view mirrors off my car. I'm not looking back
(34:11):
on any of this shit because half the time I'm like,
I don't need it and I won't miss it, So
I just chucking stuff in there. And this is Steve
Steve's complete opposite of me. He comes up and he goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
That's nice. Don't get rid of that. And I go,
don't need it, don't need it, don't need it. And
so this is what I'm gonna do. When he's not here.
I'm throwing away half that shit. He's got it there.
He won't miss it. Anything. Seventy five pairs of the
(34:36):
same black shorts, he will not miss these. We don't.
He has a thing in the laundry room that's overflowing
that he calls clean closed mountain. That he doesn't even
take the shit upstairs, and he just lives and dresses
out of the laundry room. I'm like, what are we
doing here? So close mountain, that's what he calls it,
clean closed mountain. I go, well, the mountains get a
(34:56):
little high in there. So yeah, purge, purge, purge. It
feels so good. And then like I notice, I'm a
nicer person and my mind is clear, and I'm just yeah,
I can't wait. I'm getting there. I'm in the middle
of it. But it's like like you said last night,
and now I'm opening another drawer, and now I get
another one open. Yeah, I'll wait till I'm moving to
this kitchen, the old stationary, the random pens, all of
(35:18):
that stuff. I'm on a mission, so I gotta go
tend to it. I love you, I'm so sing back
with you. I missed you terribly and let's go crush.
As Max Stul says, Nan yea god black? What does
Nan that mean? I love you, Nana? Who cute? I
love you? Calm Down with Erin and Carissa is a
