Speaker 1 (00:00):
They get here, they remove the squirrel.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well, then you know how much that costs me twelve
hundred dollars because they took full liberties.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
When I said I'll pay double, they said, this bitch
is desperate. Calm Down with Erin and Carissa is a
production of iHeartRadio.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
You look great?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Are you?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Do?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
You not like have a mirror in your house? Because
yellow great? You just got your hair done, didn't you?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah? I had to.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I was crying it out over here. So here's the thing.
Welcome everybody to Calm Down Podcast Weekend. We're hanging on
by a thread string. I wish I had threads or
strings to pull my face up. About time, I was
telling Carissa that I'm overdue for a couple of a
little bit of botox. Here and there, I saw this
sweet guy Todd. He takes photos of our mark in

(00:51):
certain areas of the country. He sent me some and
I was like, Okastune dot org, it's time. You know
what's interesting They say that you or botox can wear
off quicker when you work out.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
That's just the way, Yeah, because you metabolize it faster. Yeah,
I get that, but I'm gonna tell.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
You do damned if you don't.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I want to get into this filter thing though first. Okay, okay, look,
let's get into it. Yeah, stop looking like an alien.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I'll say it.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
That doesn't look like you. I'm gonna tell you this
right now. Go I have and I don't know how
I say. Who doesn't love a little like smooth out?
Like I always get this situation right here, like okay,
which we're gonna correct in the off season, you know
what I mean. But like I always get that, like
I don't want to see that from different angles, Like, Okay,
it's fine, we can smooth out a few necklines, no problem.

(01:41):
But the second that I see a picture and I'm like, dude,
that doesn't look like me. And by the way, if
I'm not editing the picture, I don't need other people
editing my face and my photos, Like I feel like
there should be like because I don't want to get
the photo be like wait a minute, that doesn't even
look like me, Like can we not do that? So
the editor has gotten so out of control and so

(02:02):
filtered where I'm like, and again I say this lovingly
about myself.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I'm happy to do a little.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Smooth smooth, smooth, no ca Yeah, but the second that
I'm like, I don't look like that, Like, look, that
picture looks great, but that doesn't look like me. I
don't know how to like politely be like, don't edit
the picture for me. I'll fix her up, you know.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Anyways, So it's it gets me when people do it
and their nose like and and this is coming from
somebody that has their careery large snaws stuff. When their
nose like a vacu, it turns into Cindy Lou who.
I'm like, guys, come on, what come on here?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
This is great to take it too blurry.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I love a little you know where it looks like
super glassy, but.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
When you're fucking with your facial structure, like it looks
like you went in for a rhino plasty over the
weekend and you didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, no, I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I'm like, okay, but anyways, Yeah, and with that, we
welcome you. And I could use all the fildering I
get right now. All right, yaal we are headed into
week ten.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
I want to tell you, I know we talked. We
talked about this a couple of weeks ago with all
the injuries with the forty.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Nine ers and you guys.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Jayden Daniels last night, Oh my heart hurts for him.
I know you sat down with him earlier this year
and you guys have a great relationship. I just it's like,
why why do these guys have to get and Joe
alt now out And it's just like there's so many injuries.
And I know there's injuries every year, but does it
feel like there's just.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
A lot more this year. I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
There was a season and Ryan's really good at this,
our producer, there was a season that early all the
injury hits, injuries hit. I thought it was like Odell
JJ Aaron. I remember they all hit it once and
it was like, holy crap.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, it was awful.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
We uh, we were all watching coming home from Detroit, Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
That game was sitting behind me. Kevin was across the way.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Don't know how Kevin was functioning, by the way, shout
out to.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Kevin broken, but he went.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
He goes down and we're all like, we forget that.
We're on a plane of how many they're like people, No, Like,
I'm yelling at Kevin goes what happened?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
I turned it off.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I'm like Jayden like Yeah, all of a sudden it
turned to Nora Private Theater on the delta flight we
were on. So, yeah, my heart goes out to him.
I truly love that kid a lot. He is very,
very sweet. I know it is part of the game.
Tom said last two weeks ago, last week when Skataboo
went down and we went to break during that injury

(04:37):
and they were, you know, obviously attending to him.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
He goes. It just shows you how fast it happened.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
And for those of you that don't know, and I
know you listen to people listen to this podcast for
different reasons. But Jaden Daniels is the quarterback for the
Washington Commanders. He's in a sophomore season. Last year he
had an unbelievable year, took his team to the NFC
Championship Game, where they ended up losing to the Eagles
in the NFC Championship Game and the AFC champion to
win there, Yeah, you would up going to.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
The Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
So had this crazy good rookie campaign and then you
just say, and now he dislocated his elbow. Is that
the final like diagnosis today or whatever it is has
an MRI on it, But.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Like, yeah, like I think that's what they're saying on it.
But it's just people were, you know, sweeting and saying
your arm isn't supposed to go that way, and he had.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Already been out with a knee injury and a hamstring injury.
And then Tucker's creak to.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
A like Tucker Craft for the Packers. Yeah, it's twenty seventeen,
here we go. This is when it was Aaron goes out,
jeweles goes out, Odell goes out, JJ Carson wentz and
then the Eagles won the Super Bowl with Nick Foles wild.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
So I know, as you know, injury, as we get it,
are part of the game. It just feels like it's
happening so often, and it's like, you know, anyways, it's
never it's never something you ever want to see. But
I hope jayde and Daniels and anyone that's gotten hurt
this show speedy recovery to.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
All of them.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
But as we enter week ten, we'll take a I'm
headed to Denver this week, which I'm excited about it
for you to see. Get Yeah, a little reunion with
Sean Payton.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
And it's going to be Chris there. My Gal's going
to be all cozy.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I pretend like, I know, I haven't looked at the weather,
but I'm just assuming because it's Denver in November.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
But yeah, weather report coming later. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
So but they how about the Broncos. So they they
play the Raiders a divisional match up. The Raiders come,
I mean, they had a say, hey, look they battled
in that Jaguars game to the very end, but it
ended up losing. It's not the Raiders year. Okay, well,
we're just gonna say that it's rebuilding a program. They

(06:42):
bring in Pete Carroll, they bring it in to Cheno Smith,
but it's you know, it's it's not their year to
win the division and or you know, at this point,
depending on how things go as we're at the midway point,
sort of.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
You know, whatever make the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
So but the Broncos did atop that division, and things
going to get real interesting down the stretch because with
the with Kansas City and playing them twice. They play
Kansas City in two weeks and then they play them again,
we have them on Christmas, and it's going to come
down to those last two games. And of course I'm
not leaving out the Chargers. The Chargers as well, or
you know that AFC West the top three teams of

(07:17):
the four at the top of the standings, there can
all kind of fight it out at the end. So anyways,
I'm headed to Denver. I'm excited about that. Good hotel,
great hotel. Yeah, where are you going? We just got moved.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
We just got put on the La San Francisco game.
Haven't seen San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
At all this year.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Oh your weather high to mid fifties in Denver, but
right is not the low because my girls on late,
well it is.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
It is mountain times. So but you're on late, so
you get when it's chrispy. It'll be great.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, so it's good, nice little NFC. Wait, are you
in San Francisco or ELK? I think the San Francis
let's go. Yeah, because we had them for Thursday night
in La.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
That makes sense. That's right, that's right, that's right. And
that was a great game. But it always is Kyle
versus Sean, it always is. It's wild.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Well, I'm excited for that game for you. I'm excited.
I'm excited to stay on the West Coast.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
It's going to be good.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
We were excited, yeah, to hear the news about that.
I want to say something really quick because I just
looked up to see if there was any news on
Jada and Daniels. You know, we we get to establish
these relationships with these players, but also these coaches as well,
and I feel like a lot of times our perspective

(08:38):
is a little different from the average fan or somebody
that's filling out their fantasy football lineup. These are lives,
these are jobs. These are even more than that. As
I was watching the Dodgers World Series parade today, you
see all the little kids and the wives walking around.
These are where your kids are going to school. Are
you going to get up and have to move because
you're fired or you're traded? There so much that goes

(09:01):
into you. See Jayden go down, You worry about his health.
You hope he's doing okay. But then now dan Quinn's
answering questions where he said, I left Jayden Daniels in
too long.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
One hundred percent. It's on me. My heart hurts for
him right now.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
I saw a quick snippet of his presser say I thought,
it's all I've thought about. I just people do not
understand it's like this. These are their lives. This is
their livelihood. I then think about his wife all night
and she's probably like, it's okay. You can't calm them down,
you can't tell them it's okay. There's just so much
more than that goes into it than the wins and losses.

(09:37):
We had a great, really candid conversation with Kevin O'Connell
this week as we got to watch the Lions and
the Vikings play him having JJ McCarthy back. He was
talking about what a hard year it's been with the
injuries that they've suffered. You go into a game with
a certain amount of players and then you come out
and you've lost like four or five of them, and

(09:57):
he's like, it's just so hard to deal with that.
Then he talked to about being a dad, being a husband,
going home, and.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
It's just people don't understand.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
It's just such a different way of life and it's
really really hard. I saw a coach get angry on
the sidelines yesterday and you know when a play happened,
and I thought to myself, I just look at that
so differently, because that's their livelihood. Will they lose their
job because of that one play? Because somebody missed an assignment?
Will their kids have to move? It's crazy what goes

(10:26):
into it? There's my rant. No, it's it's like you said,
we have a unique perspective. And you know people, I
just love all people. Well, they get paid so much money,
and it's like a lot of people get paid so
much money. Yeah, but does that hedge fund manager have
ninety seven shows that goes on and talks about that
move that they made that didn't make them money and

(10:48):
they're critique and I get it, and they understand that
players and they take understand.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Sure, this is part of the job.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
I get that, But it's okay for us to sit
here and also have some empathy. You all or the
wife of a former athlete, so your vantage point is
even different.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
But yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Mean, nobody I'm sure feels worse than Dan Quinn if
he could go back and do it again, of course
he would have taken him out. But everyone wants to
pile on. And I think that's just in life. You know,
if someone already knows that they made a mistake, it
doesn't make it better to just keep piling on and
be like you should have you think they don't know that,
And yeah, revision is history, and it's easy to be
the Monday morning, you know, quarterback on all those kinds

(11:25):
of things. So I think your rant is not a rant.
I think it's a level of empathy and nice to
just take a beat and not always just pile on
when everybody's trying to come after you. Yeah, I'd love
to go back to your game for a second. You

(11:47):
had a great game between the Vikings and the Detroit Lions,
and I just you know, football, we also talk about
this every week, how awesome it is. And I had
the game. I had a game in Miami between the
Dolphins and the Ravens and Lamar came back and I
was so happy for you know, that Ravens team to
get their quarterback back. And he comes out and he
throws for four touchdowns, and you know, it's just as

(12:11):
I told him in the post game, I'm like, the
game is better when you're on the field and it
is your matchup.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Like that was such a good interview with him.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Hey, you know the Thursday night where shorm goes, we
didn't do that game where he was blitzed a million times.
That was Brian Flora's his defense when they played Miami.
I did that Thursday night game. Oh wow, wild, yeah,
because you know why I thought of that. Also again
this weekend, Brian Flora is blitzing and blitzing and blitzing.
Jared goff I said to our producer, I go, you

(12:39):
know what, this reminds me of that Thursday night game
where he shut down Lamar can't get my open right,
but I can do that. Okay, Oh, not off, But anyway,
your game was such a great interview.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Sorry, oh no, not at all. I just you know,
Lamar's so so great. I just really enjoy you know,
early on in his career, when I've sat down with him,
he's quiet and reserved and like he doesn't really like
to shine the spotlight on him.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
But when you get him and he's like, I don't know,
he's like he just like almost like an energy. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah. And I watched him after or was it before.
I can remembers after and the year before, and you know,
these kids want autographs and he's just so sweet, he
like takes.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
The time to do it all. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
I'm a big I'm a big Lamar fan, and and
I hope for their sake, I mean, this is why
the NFL is awesome. This team started out one in five.
They had a one percent chance to make the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
One in five.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I mean, you dig a hole like that in your screwy.
Vegas has them, you know, winning now. Albeit, the Steelers
had a nice outing beat the Colts over the weekend,
so that gets interesting. The Bengals game, Holy shit, how
many points. If you liked offense, this was the game
for you. And then there's the drama with that because
you know it was a high scoring game, and then
there's questions the Bengals blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Anyways, the NFL is awesome.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
These divisions are you know, at this point, they're really
close and it's like these last you know, the second
half of the season is going to be so exciting
because every game will matter so much. So Also, can
I say, I'm not saying Lamar's a child I'm just
saying he has like this energy almost like how do
you say that?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Not childlike? But what is it?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
I mean, Yeah, if you're not understanding what you're saying,
then you're an idiot. I just think of I think
about you know, taking yeah, taking things out of context.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Weird.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
But no, he is he like just he just wants
to play football.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
He just wants to go out there and uh play
the game that he loves. All right, So that was
Week nine, Week ten. Those are our matchups. What else
we got going on in our life? Halloween for your Matt,
We hold on a little bit.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Go back to Kevin O'Connell loves the Calm Down podcast.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
I don't think it often, but here's about it from
his wife.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
As he told you that and then got right onto
our conference call. Sorry, Tom Brady, I'm going to address
Aaron and her Calm Down podcast with Churis. I know
he was great about it. Just so sweet anytime they
so sweet.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Pump it up, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Hey, I'm to get Kevin Burkhart to shout shout out,
thank you for mentioning the Calm Down podcast. You didn't
mention podcasts, but you did say calm down, which I
appreciate both of you guys.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
During your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
The World Series Game seven goes into extra innings.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
He's in Toronto.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
He gets on a flight lambs what three forty five
or whatever, gets the hotel in Detroit with you guys
to then call the game on Sunday Joe Davis, Kevin Burkhart,
guys that do that double duty I have so much
respect for. But Kevin Burkhart, I just I think the
world of you as a person and your work wife.
Obviously here Aaron does as well, but it cannot be

(15:39):
overstated how difficult that is to do and go back
between both sports and stuff.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
So kudos to you. keV are pre and youthful energy.
As Ryan said, that's a great way to child, Yeah,
to describe Lamar, I keep hitting this over the head.
So there's that are pre and postgame show with Kevin, Alex,
Poppy and Derek.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Is so freaking good.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
It reminds me a lot of the guys that do
the NBA Show on ESPN now Ernie, Charles, Kenny and Shack.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
It is so fantastic. It is so fun.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Poppy is like a grond Key's Mickey Mouse. He makes
everybody laugh. Everybody wants to sit with him. They had
some really good conversations Derek was I thought phenomenal. It
was talking a lot about Mooki and his confidence and
even their old gong, the gold song was fired.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
And if you guys don't know what we're talking about,
go to the mlbon Fox page. There's some great anecdotal
stories there and also just you know, walked walks down
memory Lane.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Just they do a wonderful job.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
I was. I loved watching them. I hated that I
didn't watch them postgame for Game seven because I needed
to go to bed.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
But they did such great job, very good.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
And also the I'm not you know, we all know
my fandom was for the Mariners because my mother is
a huge Mariners fan. But it cannot be overstated what
this Dodgers team has done.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
And I don't want to hear. I don't want to hear.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Oh, you've got the biggest payroll. Guess what, there's no
salary cap in baseball. You got the money, go out
and do it until the league changes the rules, and
until they in instigation, you know whatever, in instigate.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I can't talk today until they enact a salary cap.
Spend that money.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
And by the way, the show Heyo Tani investment seven
hundred million dollars, they already made that seven hundred million
dollars back in a minute. You went back to back
World series. That guy is worth every penny. I feel
so lucky. I admittingly like I'm not a baseball fan
that's gonna watche hundred and say two games. Yeah, but
it was cool, be alive when you know a guy
like show, hey, o Tani is in the league. It's

(17:48):
incredible that World Series, the alcs, the analysts, they were
all phenomenal. And I was so happy for the game
of baseball and so happy for Fox too, not just
because they worked there, but like twenty five million people
watching the World Series and actually getting a game seven.
Those things don't happen all the time, going into extra innings,
and like it was really really Rojas, not only with

(18:10):
the with the home run, but that defensive place. There
was a picture that this is they were the Blue
Jays were this close to winning the World Series. And
then you got Will Smith with the home run. And
did you see that little video of his daughter watching
him in the post game?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
So she's standing there.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
She can't be any older than mac, I mean maybe
two two and a half, and she's looking at a
monitor of in a split screen, and she has little
hands behind her back and she's like looking around anyways,
but her.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Shaw stuff with and his kids and then what.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
A way to go out?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Oh, I think about get it, like Michael Strahan ended
his career by winning a Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Like if you know Kershaw and he like, what a
way to go out.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
I just think it's so bad, right, So anyways, baseball
is fun.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
And you can buy your Dodgers championship gear at where
ya dot com.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
All Right, Hey, I got the cutest thing. I got
so many compliments that wore my gray set yesterday. Rids
it up and down the hallways. Waffle waffle, text, flame,
cargo pockets, QQ cute. All right, you want to shout
out Kristin from PF Changs tell me more.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Hey, you know the one in Detroit? Yeah, I was mad.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
I couldn't go to the one when I had to
do my Aidan Hutchinson feature, which, by the way, I
know we love shout Outsiden. I know you didn't win
to such a good job. Well you're sweet, But it's
all about him. Anyone that doesn't know what he does
hutches heroes Aiden Hutchinson place for the Detroit Lions, got
hurt last year, came back, just signed a massive contract.
But this guy does so much for the community and

(19:42):
for children that are sick. So if you don't know
anything about him, I have it on my Instagram page,
just a little snippet of what he's doing, him and
his family. Anyways, he's incredible. So in Detroit, I was
so mad I didn't have time to stop by the
PF Changs and I would have been able to meet Kristen.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Okay, but tell me more.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Go the old Gate, the a terminal for Detroit's airport.
You take a left, You're gonna go past the McDonald's,
and then the PF Chains is on your left.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
What you're gonna do? We went in there.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
We had a we had this is why I'm shouting
out Kristen from PF Chains in the Detroit airport. We
probably had maybe twenty minutes. We got delayed in extra
ten minutes. We were like, yes, yes, it's the only
time you wanted delay, one hundred percent. My girl Kristin
taking all the orders and we are family style. It
is probably i'd say ten of us just crushing a

(20:34):
tabletop high top. Sorry, and then we're like, well, two
Savian blocs, three fried rices, Mongolian beef, spicy chicken.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Kristin, we got an extra ten minutes before we board.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
My girl is whipping and audish it out the dumplings.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
I love her. She was great.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
What a gal that brings me to this point. Kristin
got it. Kristin understood, Hey, we got a limited amount
of time. Let's make this happen. Let's make everyone happy.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Get happy.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
The other day I went into a store that will
not be named because I love their valet and they
always take care of me. But because the guy's in
the valet, they love football, and I always over it.
I crush I like, I really tipped these guys because look,
I don't want to have to go up through the
parking structure.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
I don't want to swim them around nine times.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
I don't want the risk of an act I the
car is pulling out, so they always leave my car
up front.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I take care of my guys.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
I love them, but I'm almost this close to not
going there anymore because every time I go in there,
they know I'm going to buy things, and so they
belined me. And there's like three of these ladies, and
the last time I was in there, I was like, ladies, stop,
we can't do that. And also every time I'm in here,
I'm in a hurry. I don't need this slow And
have you seen this no, I'm in, I'm out, I

(21:43):
know what I want. But this, and again this comes
from a place as a former sales associate at Norsehrooms.
I knew, I knew like I can read a room.
I know someone that's in a hurry. You go in,
they're buzzing around the things, they're grabbing stuff. Hey, do
you want to room? No, I don't want to try
those on. Great, let me hold that for you while
you continue shopping around. Then when we get up to
the register, if I hand you these items and say

(22:04):
I know I want these, you take them to the register,
take the hangers off, already start ringing them up. So
when I get up to the register, we already we've
already started this transaction. I don't want to get up
to the register and then have you be like, oh
la la la no, let's la la las no la
la las fa la la la la. It's Christmas time.
We got to keep things moving if you want the

(22:25):
commission off this show. I mean, it's just like there's
no sense of like urgency. And again I say this
as a former associate, I would know if someone's in
a hurry, and then they'd want to come shop with
me because like I knew how to expedite it. Don't
come up there and then like you know, be lollygagging around.
So anyways, I appreciate Kristen for understanding the urgency. And

(22:46):
there's a time in a place to slow things down
and perus and window shop. But if your gal's coming
in here like a bat out of hell, let's not
slow down the process. Take the hangers out, shove it
in a bag, and send me on my mirrorway. Okay, okay,
I'm not gonna be able to go there anymore because
you know the people that are shopping there.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
I can take your time, I can't take my card. No,
we we're in, we're out. Let's go.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Hey, I'll tell you what I don't have time for.
I left my makeup bag. Just got an update. But
if id it in a hotel.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
No, if anyone's in the Delta lounge, she I'll have her.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
I'm gonna have her.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Try hey, so eron, Well she's uh yeah, well she's
doing that. Aaron left her makeup bag, and ladies, you
know that feeling where you're in a hurry or you know,
I don't know what the circumstances were Aaron will tell
us here in a second after she sends this email out.
But I have you know what's happened to me before
I've been putting my makeup on.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
I'm on the plane.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
I right as soon as they get off the plane,
I have to go somewhere, so I have the makeup
bag out of the big bag and then it's like
on the seat because we got to put our stuff away.
And now I've grabbed the bag and it's not in
the TOA.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Yeah, I think that's what happened.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
I thought originally I left it in the airport, and
now no, I thought I left it in the hotel.
They're saying that's a no. And now I think I
left it in the delta. Dean and I went and
did not together, but a big change right before KF chains.
I thought the day was going so well. But I
think maybe I left it in the bathroom stall and
it was a big stall. It was a big stall.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
But now here's the thing. I was just thinking of
texting Dom. I don't know what kind of conceited, like
what color, and I don't have.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Time to go do the test shit dom nos, So
now I got to ask okay and then I'm thinking back,
I bought a lot of brushers that ended up on
my algorithm, and now I got to go.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Find those brushes. Here's what we're going to do. I
might be with Dom tomorrow, that's a TVD. But if
we are, we're going to put together a list and
we'll send you with the shopping list. It still fucking sucks,
There's no two ways about it. Makeup is when I
how about when my house got robbed.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
My house got robbed.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
A lot of great persons, A lot of things that
I've been and got stolen, and I was fucking pissed.
I'll tell you what else got stolen. The makeup bag
right on the counter and they took the whole thing.
And I was like, these motherfuckers didn't need some lip gloss.
They could have just left the makeup bag. And I
was so mads.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
I'm like, I got to start all over with this thing.
So I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
I really hope that it's in the Delta line. You know,
you know, I'm a Delta gal. I can, I can.
I could put a few phone calls in. I just
you know, give me that three sixty line. It was
the Detroit Airport Detroit Avenue. Yeah, okay, well you know what,
Like when I lost my wallet, you helped me. We
exhaust all options. It's not over yet, but yes, we

(25:37):
will find a resolution. Hopefully it is that the bag
turns up. That actually happened to me one time. It
turned up in the Dallas Airport Lost and Found. You
find it in the Lost and Found. I had left
it in the Dallas Airport and it was in the
Lost and Found. I'm not giving up on this for you, No, girl,
it ain't over till it's over. And that's what brings
me to my vision how and positivity. So I've kind

(25:59):
of had a shitty week just with like Willis being
sick and I talked about a little bit on the
pregame long story, I hope my boys on the mend.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
He's right behind me, but he has.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Really everybody sent positive vibes and he is my child,
and like he's twelve years old, I get it, but
like he is, he wasn't sick before this and he
was like doing great, and I was like, I just
I'm gonna need to be put in a home when Yeah,
So anyways, I was like trying to be positive even
in negative situations because that's just better for me mentally.

(26:29):
And I went to go get my hair done. So Nicki,
sweet Nicki, who we love. She'd picked up her phone
and I was like, wait, what's going on with that
screensaver of yours? It was so colorful and cool and whatever,
and she put her I don't know if people have
ever done, if you've ever done, she put her vision
board that she had done at the beginning of the year.
She made a vision board but for the front of

(26:51):
her phone. And I was like, oh, that's such she goes,
because then every time I picked up, every time you
look at it. And I made a vision board one
time I was in Nashville. It was right when I
was going through the divorce, and I was like, I
was like, I need a whole scrap my life start
over thing. I've put a picture of a horse on it.
I've put a picture of a hot guy. I've put
the word piece, I put start over, all of these
things I wanted were it all came true. Arin it

(27:14):
all came true. And it's the only time I've ever
done that. And so I was like, what a great idea.
So I made a vision board and it's on my phone, Now,
how'd you do that? So I did this thing off,
this pic collage thing, and I'll show you and it's
it's I've only had it on my phone for a
week and a half and I've got to tell you,
I am already doing some of these things.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
What it is like there? Are you allowed to stay
out loud? Of course I am.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
So.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
I've got a picture of my parents because I want
to spend more time with them.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
Right here.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
I had the ranch because that's always a place of
piece and I just want to always maintain that. I
have a a handwritten letter in the corner because I
want to write more handwritten notes. I have Steve and
I in the middle, just because that's always I want
to maintain that relationship. I've got work pictures. I have
money on here for my savings. I'm great at spending money.
I need to do a better job of say, I
got a picture of all these fruits and vegetables because

(28:02):
I need to balance out my diet. I'm the Queen
of top Rahmen a Corse light and just like shitty food.
Sometimes when I'm so delicious, I know it's like so
that I've got a picture of Africa or Safari. Yeah,
that's there. I've got these little quotes. Enjoy the little things. Anyways,
I highly encourage you send me that app of how
I can make it right away. I have a few

(28:23):
things I need to accomplish. I got my animals on there. Anyways,
I just think it's such a good reminders. Every time
I pick up my phone, I'm reminded of the things
that I want to focus on and the things that
I want to continue to work for, including this old
school Mercedes Roads shirts old fashioned car.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Can I see it? Oh yeah, it's so sexy. I
mean it's like a little picture of it, but it's
this right here. You can see the interior of it.
That's yeah, I want an old fashion car. But that's
like down.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
But again, that's why it's a vision board, so positivity
putting out there in the world what we want. That's
what I am up to. How's that going over there
with the email? Oh no, okay, we're gonna fig we're
gonna figure it out while we didn't.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Tell them, I'm a two million miler and also a
dime in.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
No, we're gonna we're gonna make sure it happens for
you while you work on that. Do you want me
to tell the squirrel story so you can focus on
that or do you want it?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
I'm done tell it.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Okay, let me get a little water for those mostra
mm hmm. Had a Chargers game two weeks ago. If
I got a game in LA, that means I can
make my way up to the branch because I don't
have to travel that week. So I'm at the ranch animals.
Everything's great. I leave Willison Daisy home. During that time,
Willis had not gotten sick yet. Willison Daisy stay home

(29:39):
because it's just better that they stay here. Dogs at
the ranch, day at the ranch, case we get them.
Will stays here here with my amazing dogwalker Devin, who
I literally cannot live without. She stays at the house
with them while I'm gone. I'm sitting on the couch.
I got the Monday night football game on, I got
the World Series game on. I've got I'm so excited.
I just pour myself a drink. I sit down. I've
had a great day out on the farm.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Da du Da.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I get a call from Devin. I'm like, oh, this
can't be good. She never calls me, and I'm like,
something's wrong with that feeling.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
This is what she.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Says, there's a squirrel in the house. But there's a
squirrel in the house. Whoa, what do you mean there's
a squirrel in the house? She goes, so, yeah, he's
burrowed his way, and so I have these like slider
doors that like go into the walls. Well, I always
leave him open, like for the dogs, and so does
she to go in and out of the house. Okay,
this is nothing new. I've lived in this house for

(30:29):
eight years. We do this all the time. A squirrel
or any other animal or wrote it has never made
its way into the house because we have dogs. How
the fuck is the squirrel getting in the house? Anyways,
somehow this Alvin and the chipmunks that he's with, the
friend gets burrowed into the wall and now he's in
the back of it and she can't get him out. Well,
what do you think my German shepherd and my husky

(30:51):
are doing going ape shit trying to get to this squirrel.
My house is going to be demolished if we don't
get them out. I was like, hey, the lampoon's vacation.
Put the dogs in the garage. Let me see if
I can find an exterminator something to get this animal
out of here. And we're gonna make sure that we
keep this animal alive because we're we are in the
business of relocating the animal, not exterminating him. Okay, but

(31:15):
now I'm like, fuck, I got I just sat down
to watch my ge I just sat down to watch
the World Series and it's eight o'clock at night. Who
is gonna come get a squirrel out of the house.
I've exhausted every animal control. They don't answer. I've you know,
all these different places in La to come get it.
I finally call this one place and I leave a message.

(31:35):
I'm like, I'm desperate, Can you please, you know, remove
a squirrel from the house?

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
And now all of a sudden'm thinking to myself, where
this Devin's so sweet? She goes, well, we could do
you know, we could just keep him back there and
then we'll deal with it tomorrow when people are open,
when businesses are open.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
I go, we can't leave a squirrel in the house overnight.
Are you kidding me? This is not happening. I have
a German shepherd and a husky.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
The place is gonna be ripped Abart. Okay, finally a
place calls me back, and I was so relieved.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
I'm like, oh my God.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
And they're like, well, it'll be you know, anywhere from
two hundred to six hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
I go, I don't care how much it costs. I
will pay double. Get here, so thank you Jesus. They
get here, they remove the squirrel.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Well, then you know how much that costs me twelve
hundred dollars because they took full liberties. When I said
I'll pay double, they said, this bitch is desperate, she
needs this squirrel out of the house. But it's a
lot of money. But I was never so happy. I
was like, look, did I want to have to spend
twelve hundred dollars on a squirrel removal that I didn't
estimate was going to happen in my home in Los Angeles?
At the ranch? That makes more sense. No squirrels were

(32:34):
in the house there, but in Los Angeles squirrel removal.
And when I show you.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Guys this picture I sent it Da Aaron, It's.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Like, what the fuck? And how did this animal get
in here? Has anyone else ever had that happen? I
want to tell you I'm like surrounded by their houses.
This isn't like open you know acreage here actually thinking
in that, I think shoddy.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Brian Schottenheimer from The Down Cowboys was just telling a
story about how an owl got in his house and
they will yeah, and they were. They had I think
his son put a video on the Internet of trying
to like get it down and like what a like
shit show that was. I will tell you when Chris
had told me this story and she said, oh, I
just had to pay this. That's a Larry David ism.

(33:19):
These people can charge you whatever they want because you're
so desperate to get that out of your house. They
could say five ki thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Okay, exactly, No, that's exactly I'm just trying to scroll
through and find the picture.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
We'll put it up on here.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
But yeah, squirrel was removed safely and relocated.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
But I'm like, yeah, I am. They have me buy
the balls.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
They can charge me anything they want, and I'm going
to pay for it because I'm also not going to
leave my dog walker with a squirrel inside the house
no shot anyway. So that's what's happening in my neck,
my neck of the woods. So AnyWho, yeah, okay, that's wild.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
What else? Oh that story?

Speaker 3 (34:00):
And then that you would be like, oll pay whatever,
I just will Yeah, and also like how did this happen?

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (34:16):
I got a question for the moms out there that
have been moms for a while.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
I need some help my kid too. I get it.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
I've been learning that obsessions are starting to happen kind
of like with certain things, and we need to change
stuff up. For the last two months, he has been
watching Nightmare before Christmas and it is all he's wanted
to watch.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
It's all he's wanted to listen to.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Halloween is over. We love Disney. Nobody loves Disney more
than us. We are so obsessed. It's been a great
you know run. But we were so done with Halloween
that that night Jared started ripping shit down. He was like,
I'm done. A kid is still asking for Nightmare before Christmas?

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Does anyone have any idea? Wait?

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Before Christmas is a Halloween movie. It's a Halloween and Christmas.
Oh oh yeah, okay, sorry I didn't know what that was.
Oh no, you're so fine. So yeah, we're done and
now we want to move on and we're trying and we.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Haven't put it back on. We haven't put the music
on this morning. I was like, what do you want
to listen to? And he said it and I was like,
how about some Disney music? How about some Mowana or
something like that. Yeah, So, anyone have any suggestions how
we keep it rolling in our because we want to
move on to the next episode and I'm not ready
for Christmas yet.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
I feel like a lot of people would have this
having like when Frozen was all the rage, and like
the kids are like, we are not listening to anything
but Frozen, and I don't want to take my ELSA
costume off, and it's like we're going to school, We're
going to soccer practice, like all that shit where it's
like when these kids get fixated on something, I don't know,
it's a good question. I have no suggestions for such things. Yeah,

(35:50):
I guess alternatives. Can you bribe him is into candy?

Speaker 1 (35:53):
No, I'm kidding. I don't know. I don't know what
to do.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
It'll be interesting to see what our listen sars have
to say. But yeah, the reason why I thought of
this is that I sent one of the lines that
I like for pajamas or cute little clothes Monica Andy
shout out They're doing a Nightmare before Christmas line, and
I sent it to Jared and I said, hey, do
you think that we should get him some of this?

Speaker 1 (36:16):
And he goes, I think we should take a beat. Thanks. Okay,
that's very cute. I just love the idea.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
Look, I don't ever do Halloween stuff because I'm like,
it's just me and Steve. I totally understand for like
the kiddos and like whatever. But I'm excited because, as
I mentioned on the pregame, when somebody asked us, when's
a good time or when's too early for a Christmas
tree situation? Not too early that the second at turn November,
I was like, I've got full authority to put this

(36:45):
tree up in the corner, and I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
I love, I loved, I love Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
Thanksgiving is actually my favorite holiday, more so than Christmas
because it's about the right things and it's about just
being together and being thankful for your life. But Thanksgiving
is my favorite holiday, but Christmas I love. I already
started my Christmas shopping because I'm not going to have
it happen this year where I'm scrammling.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
I can get me some makeup brushes.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
I well, no, because you're gonna, you're gonna find your makeup.
I have a good feel about this. You're gonna you're
gonna find it. Yeah, but I just don't. I'm really
gonna be on top of it this year. And I
feel like I say that every year. But I feel
good about the fact that I've already made some purchases
and I already got the wrapping paper that I have
one for you already, you did, You're gonna tell you
what I got. You already got wrapping paper for you?

(37:32):
Who for you has golden retrievers on it?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Anyway, don't tell me. You know I'm the worst. You are.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
I am because I just like, I love giving presents,
and so if I have it, I want to tell
you this is just wrapping paper.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
You're fine.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
But I did tell Steep I said, we're not buying
all this ship last year. It's like the random sweatshirt
and the random whatever. We don't need all that. You
get to buy one gift and this is the value
and we don't need any of the other stuff.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
It's just the problem with.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Shopping early is that you forget you got all this
stuff and then you're like, true, shit, But then I
do like that it's done. I'm trying to be good
about like taking inventory on my little notes in my phone.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
I'm gonna tell you what I'm sick and tired of.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
In every corner of this house, because we've like obviously
only put attention on Willis as of late, there is
crap in every corner of the house and clean closed
mountain of Steve's over here in the laundry room.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
It looks like Mount Everest.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
And I looked at him today as I'm scrubbing the
carpet because Daisy has shit everywhere, and I look at him,
and I go and tomorrow, clean close mountain, better be clean.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
And there's a room, one of the guest rooms.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
He calls it the female Empowerment Room where he gets
this shit. I don't know because there's a picture of
Grace Kelly in there. And he goes, oh yeah, how
about the female empower Room. Looks like a bomb went
off in there. I go, fine, you know what we
got to do. Tomorrow, You're gonna clean up your area.
I'm going to clean up my area because once once
you you like look around and you just see shit everywhere.
I'm like, nope, nope, nope, nope. It like makes me

(38:57):
like my skin crawl. I'm like this house, not know
what's happening with Wills, and he might not be sick,
but I can't have shit everywhere. No, I mean, I've
got seven hundred pills over here, five different types of
food for them. I just have stuff in every corner
of the house. And if I am not organized or
at least like have some semblance of like.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
Order, I just go ballistic. I got it, I get it.
I got it for me. It's like.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
The bags of shit from I took out this suitcase
and I've got this box coming in now I've got
to pack this one.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
I'm like, I don't know where the fuck anything is.
You know where it is.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
It's probably in the Delta lounge at the Detroit everyone.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
But also it's that thing of like why do we
we don't need all this stuff, which is my point
about Christmas, Like I don't want all this nickknack Chowski stuff.
I don't want it all like they just need like
I would rather like peace, love and happiness.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
But yeah, it's like we could do.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
That's why I'm going to suggest even to my crew
for Amazon and stuff, because they're all all those guys
are so generous. I'm like, no, we don't need to
spend our money on this. Let's do you guys do
like a white olt right, like a draw name situation.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Oh my god, I want to do that to myself.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
We need to draw this week because you know what,
we all have such great ideas of what to get
each other. We got to start getting it rolling. I'm
writing it down. My crew needs to draw right now.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
Fun.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
It's like I don't so much scarf. I mean, that's
like so much. That's what I should do.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
And our turns into ripping each other, like you have
to have thick skin and a good sense of cat
because we just go for it.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Yeah, I'm excited about that. Oh we already at forty minutes.
All the time is I'm gonna make it. Fact.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Time flies when you're having fun, all right, Yeah, well,
thank you. My My energy is a little bit load.

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Discted here if you need it, really, everybody, send Willy
goodwill wishes through the universe, send me the app to.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
Make my visual right now, I'm telling you this is
here's my quote. I will leave you with an Eleanor
Roosevelt quote, as I often do, my happiness is not
a goal.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
