Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm wearing this heated vest. But as I saw the
picture of it, looks like your girl's pack it. Oh yeah,
she got an augmentation before the game. Yeah, I was
like Instagram versus reality. You know. Calm Down with Erin
and Carissa is a production of iHeartRadio and listen. I
(00:25):
know we've got a week seventeen upon us, but can
we recap our week sixteen as we welcome everybody into
the cut? Welcome everybody. This on my hair. I'm getting
my hair done today. I cannot wait. I can look.
It looks so good? What is so long and healthy?
Mine's really had to come back good. I've been masking
(00:46):
it up, masking it. By god. I love this for
you at night. Is it just to like a put on?
What about the sheets? And what are the pillows? What
does that consist of? Welcome to the Calm Down podcast
the day before dam No, no date of the wash.
I'm just saturating it in a mask situation. Fantastic using
that K eighteen conditioner. Whole thing. Love it and you
(01:09):
got to put in the time. I got that that.
Should I go back and do it a little blunt
cut or just let it grow I'm gonna let it
grow right now and see what happens. Fallow la la
la la, la la la. How's this pink lipstick treating you?
Welcome everybody to the Calm Down Podcast. It is this
episode will air on Christmas. So let me be the
first to say, if you celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas, and
(01:32):
if you celebrate a different holiday than happy holidays to
you and yours, We appreciate it. You lease be DoD,
So thank you for being here on this installment. If
you've snuck into the bathroom or a guest bedroom in
your parents' house because you hate your family and you
want to listen to this podcast, well then we are
here to support you. Grab a cocktail, coffee or whatever water?
Is that vodka? It's going to be in a couple hours. Oh,
(01:54):
I can't wait. Okay. We had two incredible games this week.
Gal was in Chicago for the rivalry that is the
Green Bay Packers Chicago Bears. I was in Seattle for
the Seahawks Rams game. Holy shit, holy hell go no
you you start all right. Already knew that this was
(02:15):
going to be a fantastic game. It's great, you know,
first place in the Division on the line, first place
in the NFC on the line. Given the outcome, and
as we are in week sixteen, there's only so many
weeks left where these teams can jockey for position. So
in the ever changing landscape that is the NFC, AFC
is also changing. But like NFC is like every week,
(02:36):
it's like Chicago was in first and then they dropped
all the way to seventh with one loss, and so
it's like it was just gonna be a massive game.
Little did we know exceeded expectations and that the expectations
were already high. Seahawks end up winning in overtime in
this dramatic fashion. There was two point conversions, There was
controversial calls. There was Sam Darnold being the hero. There
(02:58):
was Matthew Stafford for throwing for four hunds fifty seven yards,
three touchdowns and still losing over five hundred total yards
of offense for the Rams. Puka Nakua had himself a
book in day two hundred and twenty five yards over
two hundre dards. I don't exact stat line wild no
Davante Adams, what was gonna happen? Dun duh da du
dah so, I mean, there was a point where the
(03:19):
Rams were up by sixteen and everyone's turning off their
streaming service. Boo not me, on you, boo on you,
not me. There was fans leaving Loomenfield. Hey see, hey,
twelve's you got to revoke the twelve card. If you
left during that game, that's on you. Okay, massive game
to follow, sixteen point deficit, no problem. Seahawks rally, rally,
largest fourth quarter comeback in franchise history. Oh my god,
(03:42):
standing on the sideline with chirm in the whole get
along gang. What's gonna happen? What's gonna happen? What's going
to happen. Sam Darnold, for those of you that don't
follow football, has this narrative that he can't show up
in big games. The last time he played the Rams
had fore interceptions. Last time he saw the Rams in
the playoffs when he playoffs when he was with Minnesota,
didn't have a G game. So it was like, oh,
here we go again, is it? Sam? Donald can't show
(04:03):
up when the lights are the brightest, Sammy, Sammy showed up.
And you know how much I love Matthew and I
love the Rams too, But this was a great moment
for Sam Donald and the Seattle Seahawks. Also give it
up for Mike McDonald and the coaching job he's done
in his second year. Quick turnaround. I feel like it
was incredible and why he's second actually in votes right
(04:25):
now or Vegas odds for Coach of the Year because
Pete Carroll, longtime coach in Seattle, did an incredible job,
took his team to two Super Bowls. They won one,
but Mike McDonald, only in his second year now has
ten plus wins in both seasons, brings in Sam Donald. Anyways,
that's the recap. Unbelievable game. And for those fans that
did stay, and there were a lot of them, that
(04:47):
post game was so much fun. And Sam has such
an even temperament, he's not going to get too high
or too low. But I was like, you know, and
you know the feeling we're we're like so jacked up,
like the way that I am even a week removed,
and like narrating this whole situation. I'm like, guys, I'm
going to need a little bit more from you. Sam.
This was like are we in shock? What's happening? So
him and Jackson were just like so calm, and I
(05:08):
was like, are you guys like happy? What's going on here?
And Sam's like, I'm just really cold. So then Fitz
takes off his jacket and puts it on him. Anyways,
it was an awesome game, like could not ask for
a better ending, obviously for Rams fans. But it was
the rain. It wasn't even that, it was like, it
was just the drizzle. It was the drizzle and the
(05:30):
winds were kicking up. That's why I was like, pre game,
I didn't have a hat on, and I was like,
you know what, I'm not going to fight this. I'm
not going to I'm not going to be doing the
whole like now it's in the lip gloss. Now it's everywhere,
so just throw on the damn hat and keep it moving.
But I, like you can tell, I'm still so jacked
from that game. It was so much fun. And it
was also so much fun. I'm from Seattle to be home.
(05:50):
My whole family was at the game, is my sister
and my nephew because he had a basketball game. But
it was just great and my dad and my brother.
This is the perks of our jobs. My dad, Yeah,
my brother got to come on the field before and
it was just like, I don't know, it just makes
me really happy when like there's those moments where you
can like actually have your family be with you while
you're doing a job you love and simultaneously they'll you know,
(06:13):
get to have a front row seat to an awesome game.
So it's very cool. And now it's just sort of
you know, the Rams are a wild card team and
we'll see how this hitch is a shakes down that
they're a wildcard team, right and now with the Lions
losing to the Steelers, now you're sitting there looking at
the Niners of clinch to playoff spot, the Rams and
(06:33):
the Seahawks. So the Seahawks and the Niners play each
other Week eighteen, and that'll have a lot to do
with seating and how this whole thing goes down, and
over the next two weeks, Chicago play each other Week eighteen.
I think Detroit. It's like there's a whole it's like
a scenario every single week, Green Bays and the wild card.
Chicago is now clinched a playoff spot San Francisco. They
(06:56):
just keep plugging in, guys, they find ways to win.
Shout out to the Ask Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch, they
coach of the Year. Could have absolutely they could have
just like said, we're good, we've lost our two best
defensive players quarter but he missed a time at time. Yum, yeah, awesome, awesome, awesome,
Hey your game Chicago. And I love this because I
(07:17):
was going to say where was I It was a
night game and usually my girls in that four to
twenty five slot, so it's not nighttime. But I love
you come on screen. I'm so excited, and you're all
beautiful and cozy and we've got Packers Bears go well.
First of all, our lovely producer Ryan and his wife
Kim were able to come because they live out in Chicago,
(07:38):
and that was so fun. I need to post our
little picture that we took out from the field because
I had them down there with me so cute. I
was wearing this heated vest because yeah, it was like
we started off and it was in the thirties. But man,
I was telling Chrissa, there were these wins, these gusts
of winds up to thirty miles an hour, which you
know is my weather channel trains. I mean, shit, from
(07:59):
this stands is flying down the grass from the field
is swirling around getting in your eyes. So I'm wearing
my heated vest. It was the wind was wild behavior.
I'm wearing a lockety vest. But as I saw the
picture of it, what's wrong? It's like your girl's pack
it she got before the game. I was like, just
(08:20):
say't real like Instagram versus reality. You know. It was
like I said to Ryan, when I saw the photo,
I was like, what's going on here? But it was
all the like the thermals, the sweater, the vest. It
was like, I love it. Any boom bob zoom v
del So it was great. It was so much fun.
(08:41):
The game lived up to it. I was bombed that
Jordan got Jordan, the quarterback for the Packers, got knocked
out with a concussion. Not what you want to see
in such a big game. Malik Willis came in. He
played awesome, except for that exchange for this center at
the end when they fumbled the ball the on side kick.
A lot of mistakes by the Packers that you know, obviously,
Matt Lafleur said, But hey man, the Bears hung tough
(09:03):
and Caleb Williams with the bomb to DJ Moore and
I got to give a shout out, because I think
I was more excited about this aspect versus the result
of the game. Our guy, Kevin Burkhart, his call that
touchdown was such text an amazing call of the textbook.
(09:23):
I was so I was waiting for him in the
car for us to go back to the hotel, and
he got in and he's exhausted. That's a lot for
play by play and any analyst and everything like that,
just everything they have to do be on it. A
lot going on down in the field. On the field,
and he got in the car and I said, holy shit,
that call. I mean, imagine showing the excitement, you know, transcribed,
(09:47):
not transcribing it, but just kind of illustrating it. I
don't even know how to say it. And your voice
cracks like And Kevin didn't like it was and I
get it, that's his job, but it was so it
was execut you did perfectly. And I was so happy
for him. There's a texting going on right now about
his call and how it's all over Twitter. It was
(10:07):
an unbelievable game. Kevin Burkhard is so good at his job,
and I don't think it really gets talked about enough
that the fact that this guy too during it wasn't
that long ago just for Playoff Baseball where this guy
was doing an NFL game, then going and hosting the
pregame show for the World Series, Like he just does
everything seamlessly. In in addition to that, he also is
(10:30):
one of the nicest people that you'll ever meet. So
a lot of love always for KB. Love love, love you. Yeah,
and you know what, Caleb Williams and your six fourth
quarter comebacks. I know it's a team effort, but I'm
going to give a shout out for Kayleb Williams where
there were so many questions about, oh, is this guy
going to actually live up to the hype of being
the number one overall pick, and sure all of the
(10:52):
things that were coming, and Ben Johnson and the job
that he's done, and Dennis Allen on the defensive side
of the ball, it's been really how cool it is
to be a Chicago Bears fan and now be on
the other side of that thing. So many times in
those games you're just expecting, like, oh, it's not going
to work out for us. It's not going to work
out for us, because it hasn't for so many years,
and now you get to sit there and be like
holy shit, like so I love it. I love it
(11:14):
for these fan bases of teams like the Jaguar. I mean,
we don't and if people get mad at me the Jaguars,
I'm not saying Jaguars whatever, Jack that your fan base.
A They had a nice win over the Broncos over
the weekend too, so you know, the Jaguars, the Bears,
like these different organizations that haven't had the success as
(11:35):
of late. And you know, in the Patriots they had
a nice victory over the Ravens on Sunday nights. So yeah,
it is week sixteen, well week sixteens in the books
as of tonight with the Monday night game. But it's
awesome who's playing tonight. We got the Indianapolis Colts against
the San Francisco forty nine ers. The Indians an interesting
thing too because there's still Houston and was lost to
(11:57):
the Raiders. More. Yeah. So yeah, a lot of different
moving and shaken and shuffling in the old playoff scenarios.
That's why it's going to be exciting as we around
out the season. Here you where you headed this week?
(12:19):
For actually, just google Josh Allen I've got Eagles at Bills,
and I would cray to see how that foot injury
is going to be. I think it's going to be
a good game. You know, we were talking about how
the Eagles have already clinched they won the NFC East,
Like what did they have to play formal? I mean,
Kevin was saying, they're off seedings, you got you know
that they want to like just get it, like they're
(12:41):
off the vision where they need it to be. Because
think about it for the postseason, don't sleep on the Eagles.
I mean, all of a sudden, they've been there, done that.
Well that was too Yeah, Gronk was saying, you know,
it's rare for a team this late in the season
to still not have that identity right where it's like
each week, but they they found their identity, and which
is that run game. It's like, if you get Saquon going,
(13:04):
then of course football one oh one, it gets the
you know, opens up, your pass game opens up because
now your defense has to stack the box and they
have to you know, appreciate that Saquon can run all
over you. So yeah, I mean, here's the thing about
any team that has experience and has stars like Jalen
or Saquon or aj or whatever like or good defense
watch out because anything there, the calendar gets reset the
(13:26):
second you know it's it's the standings are you know,
zero zero once that playoff week starts. But yeah, I
had to canceas so that'll be a great game. I
had to Kansas City, not the matchup that we had obviously,
you know, beginning of the season, had thought it would
be given it was going to be you know, Chiefs
Brown are they going to do a quarterback? I know
(13:46):
because Gardner minshow's out now? So yeah, there's Unfortunately, yes,
matchup wise, it doesn't you know, look like you know,
the Patrick Mahomes a division on the line with the
Broncos whatever. But look it's still the NFL. These guys
have a ton of pride. They go out there, they
work their ass off. They want to you know, finish strong.
(14:07):
I know that they lost yesterday to that the Chiefs
lost yesterday to the Titans. Not what they wanted there either,
But these guys still go out there every single week
and work their ass off. So I'm looking forward to
spending Christmas in Kansas City with my crew. I have
yet last year we did a Christmas. We did a
game on the twenty sixth, so I haven't worked a
game on Christmas before we were in Chicago. Oh yeah, sure,
(14:31):
so yeah, Christmas, like it always does, looks a little
bit different with the holidays, but like excited to actually
work a game on Christmas and complaining about it. I'm
not complaining about it. I love it, No, I do.
I'm excited about it. And it's also not going to
be as cold. There's you are the weather goal. It's
seasonably warm in the Midwest. So Steve's going with me
(14:54):
and we spend Christmas together and he was like, I
can't even wear the jacket I want to wear. It's
going to be hot. But anyways, yeah, looking forward to
that and Chris Maw's Christmas in I'm looking right now.
I feel marked Buffalo. Oh my god, of course, I
feel like they made a Hallmark movie. They did hew.
I love home Flow. So when Aaron looks that up
(15:17):
or while she's looking that up this week, that is Christmas.
And yes, albeit it doesn't you know, look the same
as when we were kids, because that anticipation of what
the presents are going to be under the tree. I've
already given Steve as president. He's already given me my present,
got me a nice bracelet, which I love. But so Dale,
I know Steve's really good at the gift giving situation.
I'm not mad at him at all, but it still
(15:39):
is so fun. Like I was gonna spend. I have
to get my hair done this afternoon because it needs it.
But I'm just going to make Christmas cookies and I'm
going to be festive and I'm going to put on
holiday movie excuse me, and I'm gonna pour my eggnog.
And I'm just going to make today and tomorrow, since
we travel on Wednesday, our own little Christmas here at home,
which I'm excited about. What do you got going on
over this, sister, You've got your whole fan up in town. Yeah,
(16:01):
this is a bit hard, and not you. I'm not
complaining because i know I've seen it on Instagram all
the moms talk about all the effort that they put
in trying to put it on. You know, it's a lot.
It's a lot, and it's a lot when you're traveling,
and it's a lot when you're hosting, and it's a
lot when you have a two year old and it's
just a lot. So again I'm not complaining, but I'm
living it. I'm living I'm living the dream. Now I'm
(16:23):
doing what all you moms get to do, and now
I'm understanding it. By the way, I just looked ahead
to the weather in Buffalo for that matchup for twenty
five kick rain snow wind. Whoa you know it Orchard Park.
It's one of the last games there. They got the
new stadium. Yeah, you're right, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Oh my god,
(16:46):
I love doing games in Buffalo. It is Yeah, it's
like it is. It's fucking awesome. You never know what
you're going to run into. Wait, So along those lines, Macaron.
Aaron sent me a video this morning of him in
his little Grinch sweater. So this Christmas versus last Christmas
for him, he's like fully understands what I mean. I
(17:07):
know he's still too, but he's very smart what's happening.
So it's like, give me a little rundown of mac
Christmas excitement vibe. He I don't think he doesn't understand
Sanna yet. He knows Sanna and he says ho ho ho,
but he doesn't understand you have to be nice to
get presents because I'd be holding that over his head.
(17:28):
Hopefully next year that comes into play. He has no
idea what's going on with all that. He knows Christmas decorations.
He has the Grinch on rupine. He is attempting to
ski but not interested. He is into the Gondol wants
that's all he wants. And Elmo please, and Crinch please
(17:51):
and Almo Disney please. That's what we're working with. So
he's so busy. This guy is, He's got activities every day.
He's so cute walking around with this little smoothie. I know,
I said to your text about it nice. When I
see him with your dad, I'm just like, I know
I can't handle it. Here's so I know you, and
(18:13):
it's you know what I can't handle. He's had this
call for two months, which I guess is what two
year olds and toddlers do, especially when they're in school,
and so like, I'm super protective of my family they're older,
like I don't want my little germ to get them sick.
And he's laying with my dad and we're here in
the cold weather and his nose is constantly running. I've
(18:33):
had a cold for two weeks, I whatever. So he uh,
he's laying with my dad and he's just like, oh
my dad, like hey, like for for your mouth baby?
So fun though, So Christmas Morning, Christmas Day will look
like what for you chaos? I'm sure I have the
whole idea of Like on Instagram this year, I saw
(18:55):
the Christmas cocktails which we executed last How can you wait?
Tell me I don't know about these. We did the
big ice cube with orange juice, and then we put
some cranberries in there. You froze it, and then we
did the little glasses, the cocktail glasses with the champagne,
and then we put the big cube in it. Then
we put like a little thing of rosemary in there,
(19:16):
and that was our Christmas cocktail. Really cute. That was
an Instagram thing we got. And then this year I
saw a French toast cast role. So I'm going to
do that with the brioche bread and like, okay, I
have it the night before and then feed the crew
you know, not the Brian, I don't know, the brae
and whatever. A thicker toast I guess. So I'm going
to try to execute that. Just wait now, that'll be
(19:39):
in everybody that listens to this algorithm of their Instagram
brunch French toast Castro. There's like forty pounds of sugar
douche powderdge, sugar douche maple syrup. So it'll be an
all day affair, and then the twenty six will be like,
it's not for cleanup. It's not for cleanup, because then
everybody's shipping out Buffalo the whole shit and kaboodle. Yeah,
(20:03):
but that's so I mean, I get it. It's still
a work week for you because you have a game
this weekend, all that kind of stuff. But I love, Yeah,
mine's different. I don't have kids, and I don't have
my family in town. I was so grateful that I
was in Seattle and really felt like for the game
this past Thursday, and we all went to a great
dinner and I got to see my nieces and nephews
and it's so fun, like they're at the ages where
(20:25):
they can also be friends and like they're not just
little anymore. And one of my nephews, style is still little.
He told me that he's got a girlfriend. Her name's Emma,
and he got her a little necklace with an E
on it. I was like that's adorable, but it is.
It's so fun to have nieces and nephews now at
the age where they can be your friends and they
text you about things. And my one of my nieces, Sienna,
(20:46):
she's got this great boyfriend, and like, anyways, I just
I'm really grateful that I have. Yeah, they're not my children,
but they you know, are extensions of my my brothers
and sisters and just like I don't know, I just
love them so much. So it was nice to spend
time with them, albeit astus I would have loved to,
but still getting that like homie holiday feeling this time
of year. So whatever Christmas or the holiday looks like
(21:08):
to anybody at home, I hope that you guys are,
you know, doing what you love. And that's different for everybody.
And I get that holidays can also be like a
lonely time. I've spent many holidays sad and lonely. I
don't like that. Yeah, I mean that that's the truth
of you know, different phases of our lives or when
you know, even when I was in a situation and
I like hated the person, I was like get me
(21:30):
out of this, or when I didn't have a guy
and it wasn't just about a guy. It's just being
away from your family or whatever the situation is. So
I hope that, you know, if anybody out there is
like not feeling the best this holiday season, I hope
that there are some things that you can look forward to,
or we're here for you if you want to lean
on us. We will always be there for you. Come over, yeah,
(21:50):
or people that's you. We're all misery, but yeah, finding
comfort also, like movies are so comforting when you're by yourself.
I mean I am more. Sometimes it's pressing because I
feel like what you know, like what giving because like,
well it's like back in the day I remember before
I was married and marital bliss. I'm kidding, I'm happy.
(22:11):
I'm just in weeks six season. I love blank twice.
If you need help, no, like sometimes I find it.
Sometimes Christmas songs can be depressing and holiday movies can
be depressing. It's like they always find the guy they
(22:34):
didn't at first. It's like if you're lonely, that's kind
of hard. Well, this is so I love love. We've
already established this, right, Like I was not going to
give up until I found love, and I love Hallmark
movies for that reason, and my dad and I always
share this. My dad loves Hallmark movies too. And my mom,
Kathy being the cynic, although she's great, she goes, oh
(22:55):
my god, you guys, you already know what's going to happen.
They're going to find the person, they're going to fall
in love. Like, why do you watch this crap if
you already know what's going to happen. And I'm like,
because it like makes you believe in the fairy tale,
and it makes you believe in love, and it makes
you want and be like, oh, it all will work
out in the end. It's like I know what happens
in the Titanic and it's not great, and I still
watch it and that doesn't make me feel as good
as the Hallmark movies. So I got soundtrack Love. Yeah,
(23:19):
my heart will go on so forever, ever and ever
and ever. But yeah, I'm excited and you and I
I'll have this to look forward to since we're not
gonna be together for Christmas. We're going to celebrate Christmas
as a four top end group. A Steward, You'll love this.
So I was like panicking the day before Aaron was
going to leave where she is right now, and I
was like, I gotta get I said to Steve. I
(23:40):
was like, I got to get these presents wrapp and
I got to get them down to Aaron so she
can pack them and take them with her. And so
then finally I just text her. I was like, Hey,
I'm not going to rush this, and I'm just gonna
wait until you're back and we're gonna have Christmas together
where we can be in our jammy's and we can
have mimosas and open presence and it'll be great. So
I'm looking forward to that. That's gonna be my Christmas morning.
Don't take your tree down because I need to sit
(24:01):
on notuch in front of it. Fine, there's a headline
that our producer Ryan put together, just some stuff I
guess that's floating around, and it said put friendship on
the to do list, near the top. We're never taught
to prioritize friendship. We can't assume friendships just happen. We
have to take initiative. We have a tendency to prioritize
work and family while often neglecting friends or trying to
(24:24):
make new ones. I am now getting to the point
in my life where it is week seventeen, it's going
to be over. And then I reintroduced myself to my friends.
I've got my girls Jackie, Meghan, Heather, which I've been
a shitty friend to but they kind of give me
a passway football. Then you and I like, yeah, we
see each other. But like I need a weekly I
need a week at cocktail dinner, sitch, like I need
(24:45):
to get together. We also need a trip. I'm excited
for that. And right on that couch that's right behind you,
we have our little annual trips that we do together
that I'm looking forward to. But it's true and that
that is such a good point about prioritizing anything, whether
it's you know, friendship or a relationship or working out
or family like whatever it is. It's that that so
(25:06):
many times people say they want to do things, but
actually doing them is much different. So, yeah, you got
to put in work to anything that you want, because
we have it all figured out over here that obviously
you know what else I love to and we'll talk
about it more. Because I'm a big New Year's person.
I love I love it, yeah, and I just like
I actually do it more on my birthday. I do
(25:28):
like things that I want for myself for like the
upcoming year, instead of like these big, grand New Year's resolutions.
But I just like the feeling of bringing What a
privilege it is, and I'm not trying to be cheesy,
but what a privilege it is to welcome in another
year right where it's like a fresh start and you know,
you can kind of manifest what you want to have happened.
So I love New Year's. I love the old Lang Xine,
(25:51):
the song. I love the whole thing about all of that.
So I'm going to be at the ranch for New Years,
which I can't wait. I haven't been to the ranch
since our Chargers game because that was the last time
I could go up there, So I'm really looking forward
to getting up there and seeing all my animals. Oh,
one of my peacocks died. What No one of my dogs,
(26:14):
I found out got to the peacock because the peacocks
usually just stay in the area with the ducks and
the chickens, but peacocks can fly, and so I guess
the peacock flew out and one of the dogs thought
it was something to play with, which is I was
really upset about This is the part down. This is
the part about ranch life that I'm never going to
get used to. Every Where. It's like, I get it.
(26:36):
Their animals bless you and they're going to die and
not always you know from old age that like things
happen and it is the wild West out there. But
like I'm so sad. I'm like, that's hard, I know.
And then I think about this, like the other peacock,
Like they were babies together and they grew up together,
and it's like now it needs a friend. And you know,
Noah's arc. They had two of everything, and it's like,
(26:59):
now we need to get the peacock. And I don't know,
so like I don't know. I just I've got to
wrap my head around the fact that, like there's sadness
of the ranch too. Know. How's Lollie? Do you have
a Lollie Day? Gosh, I can't wait to share this
with you, guys. Thank you for asking. Lollie is in
her new home. Okay, she that area that I've been
(27:19):
building for her. She's got a little dog house, She's
got a new home. I cannot wait to see her
in the space. She's right next to Larry and the
sheep and the chicken, the whole get along gang. And
she's got her own little house. I got to get
a little name tag for it. But she, Lollie is
the queen of Ruby Ranch. Let me tell you, this
girl is hooked up. She's got a penhouse. The other
(27:40):
dogs are probably like, what the hell's going on here?
Lollie went from the outhouse to the penthouse real fast,
but she deserves it. I cannot wait. I'm praying that
when I see her, she'll let me get closer to
her and just love on her. But yeah, big news
at the ranch. Lollie has been to her news. So
thank you for asking. But yeah, so really looking forward
to getting to go up there. But also really excited
(28:03):
for my Christmas game. I got to tell you, you know,
'tis the season. Even if the matchup doesn't matter, it's
still full on Christmas. Let's go, let's go. And also
being with my guys. I love my Fox and Amazon family,
and spending these holidays as you know, because you do
as well with our guys, Like it's as good as
it gets, you know, in terms of like yeah, you family,
it's like an extension of family. So it'll be very fun.
(28:26):
You looked so pretty on that Christmas set. You look
like just an F one missus. Oh my god, well
that's very sweet, gorgeous. I so fastiving and sweet. How
Fox does it? It's so nice exactly, the fact that
they bring in like the fake snow and the whole thing.
It's so cute. Box what a place, you know, with
(28:48):
everybody on a high from our game? Yes, how about this?
This is how much this is. Okay, if you don't
love football, then this isn't gonna make any sense to you,
and you're gonna be like, Okay, you guys are like like,
get over it. I got a text from Aaron at
four fifteen in the morning. Oh yeah, as I'm bringing
stuff up into the studio, and because you're it was
(29:10):
five am Chicago time. No, it was like six right,
two hours and you were four thirty and I knew
you were up. So Aaron texts me, this is Sunday
morning and she's worked the game Saturday night, and she's like,
oh my god, call me on your way into studio.
I'm still jacked up from our game. I just want
to talk to you exactly. And this is the stuff
that I love so much. Because it's again, being able
(29:33):
to do this job is such a privilege, and then
also being able to do it with my best friend
in different capacities and have the same enthusiasm where it's like,
I was so excited for your game, you were so
excited for mine, and so Aarin's like, we have to
talk about anyways. So I just love I'm here, we
are at four thirty in the morning talking about the
Packers Bears game, and it was awesome. It was so good. God,
(29:54):
I love it. Well with that, everybody, have a very
very happy holidays with whatever you choose to celebrate, and
we can't wait to talk to you. We'll be back
right after. We're going to figure out how to schedule
one when I get back from the booth, and I'm
excited to hear how all the games went, the holiday,
(30:15):
all of it, all the things. We love you. Happy holidays,
you guys, be safe, happy and healthy. And again, if
you're lonely, you're never alone. You have us, Okay, You'll
never be alone. Never calm down with Erin and Carissa
