Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we went to Living Spaces. There's a Olive Garden
right next to it. I said, Steve, I want to go.
I love all of garden. He goes, no, We're not
going to Aligarden and go, oh, who are you? I
love Olive Garden. Calm down with Erin and Carissa. Is
a production of iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Are we started? Because I'll tell you what I'm doing.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
I'm trying to course correct where we're going to dinner
this weekend in Tampa. That's what I live for so much,
so much, so I'm going to give a chat at
as Pat McAfee says, to where we went in Chicago.
We'll do that in the big show. Holy shit, I
feel like it's week twelve.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Hi Joel, Hey I do. I can't get past how
much I love your jacket.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
It is one actually just hit the scene.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I saw the sweet lady woman that works the Bears
in game in stadium entertainment. She was wearing it in
Bears colors, which they have a lot to cheer for.
So exciting.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Here, I'll give you my oh please go d This
is the back of it, obviously. This is the NFL one.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I love it. It's like a lightweight. It's almost like
a sweater material. And I love it because you have
the jersey uh huh, and lettermans like style call and
the cuff and the cuff and the cuff here material
it's this is light.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
It obviously has the buttons.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
It's great your stuff. So I say it every time
and again. I just can't thank you enough. I need
to purchase these items. Not you guys sending to you
model so so good. I just love all of your stuff.
It's anyone that hasn't checked out the fanatics site lately.
There's some real an NFL shop dot com. Please tell
the folks at home or else they can get it.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, NFL shop dot com, any of the leagues dot com,
like we have MLB, NHL, right, NBA, W n B A.
We're also in your stadiums that you know if you're
going to the game. But if you want to get ready,
you can also go to where by EA dot com.
You can check out styles too on our Instagram account.
Sometimes I will give you a better idea of what's
(02:04):
going on. I did I look at the style and
of that You've got good models on there. Because sometimes
I don't know how to put all these things together.
So Monday after the game, Sunday after the game is
always fun because there's always you know, people that post
at the games and then they tag us and it's
cool to see everybody in your stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
It's really really great and we're so thankful. Well, you
have great stuff, so it's easy to support. Welcome to
the pregame, guys, let's do this. Mac Morgan, thirty eight.
My sister and her fiance asked me to officiate their
wedding first time or any advice Mac Morgan, First of all,
it's a lot of pressure. I mean, I while I
say that as if I've officiated a wedding, I have
been asked to officiate a wedding though, and the wedding
(02:44):
hasn't happened, So I don't know any advice. I mean,
how you know this person really well, it's your sister
and her fiance. I'd say humor is number one. Making
sure that you ask them sort of what they want
the tone of the wedding to be, Like do they
want it to be quick? Because if it's quick, let's
(03:04):
not be going on and on and on. This is
where I tell you that your microphone's muted.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Mm hmm. That's right. Mm hmm. That's right because it's
always me that's doing it. Because it's always me that's
doing It's back. It's back, thank you.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
So yeah, what do you want? What do you want
the tone of the wedding do you to be? Do
you want it to be serious? Are you guys religious?
Is there alive? I mean there's a lot of sort
of I would you know what I would do Maca Morgan.
I'd get a questionnaire and I'd have them fill it out.
And I'd also have them like look up examples of
what they've liked, because I'm a visual learner, Like go
through Instagram, go through like YouTube videos. What weddings do
(03:40):
you like? What weddings did you not like? And don't
do what I did at my sister's second wedding when
I made the maid of honor speech and I said,
if you thought this wedding was good, you should have
seen her first one. No, my mom didn't like that.
Mom did not like that. So that's my suggestions and
comment love it.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I think the best thing to do is keep it
personal and I'll be honest, keep it quick. I just
no one needs like all right, let's just one along done.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
If the service is going to last longer than the
wedding like some of my weddings, then yeah, maybe just
keep it moving next.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Okay t j MC nine two three? Do the plus
ones ever travel to a game with you? Besides the
Super Bowl? They just were in Casey. Just a going
to miss that, Let's be honest. I know now they
had to see there are other.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Plus ones they went to Casey.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
I have a home game coming up, and I think
you're always tries to go to the LA games, Steve games. Yeah,
Steve goes holiday games, and Steve, obviously being so close
with the staffords is, will be at the Rams game
next week when we have that for Thursday night.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
But yeah they play? Uh who do the Rams play?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (05:00):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Right?
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Coming week two week. I'm a week two week kind
of girl.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
I got Seattle and Arizona this week and then I
know it's Rams and someone the following week.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
But hey, right, feel free to let us know because
I may be coming. I may invite myself to that
because I'll be home. I would love nothing more than
if you show forty nine ers forty there we go.
I'm convisional game.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
That's great, that's fine. Soof news for Nick Bosa. Oh
my goodness. I hate this is just all all these injuries. No, No,
I saw that.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Actually right after I got off the phone with you
earlier today, I was like I was looking at at
Schefter's report and I was like, oh, god, no out
for the season right like it's now with the diagnosis.
I was like, God, damn, it is that poor niners.
I mean, if look anyone, Joe Burrow out three months,
any of these guys, Austin Eckler. Then you just saw
(05:53):
James Connor, James and down. I'm so bummed for him.
He's out for the year with an ankle injury. I
was actually really excited to cover. Like I mentioned, I
had that Arizona game this weekend. Heets tough as nails,
that guy. So when he went down, it also says
so much too about like who the person is when
like both teams are like shaken up about these things. Yeah,
(06:14):
I mean, I know it's part of the game, but
I hate it.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
I get so I.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Hated CD and my game went down and it was like, no,
the offense was humming, like geez, And then I always
have a question about this, like I as a mother.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
You know, I'm a mother.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I'm standing there in CD and I get it, like
they want to be out there, they want to help,
they want to do all these things. And all I
wanted to say to him is go sit down and
elevate that leg.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Get off your leg. That is so nobody said that
because excuse me.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
When I saw him walk back out, Me and Matt,
my researcher I sit next to game breaks, were like, wait,
why is he not sitting down? I don't need him
walking back and forth probably to you know, be there
for your team. You want to be a part of
it if you can't be out there. But here I am.
I'm like, he's walking in front of me, and one
time I grab him, I go go sit down, like
I feel so bad.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Elevate, le get all it.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
You would have done that even before you became a mother.
You were very motherly that way. So yes, the answer
is for these boys, I know the answer is yes
or plus ones travel with us, but not all the time.
You know how we feel about that. Okay, we're not
bringing the kids, we're not bringing the spouses. This is
our job. There's a time and a place if they're
out of the way and they're coming as fans or
(07:25):
they're just you know whatever.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
That's fine, but we don't.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
It's usually if they have other stuff cooking, they're not
there for us. If they have other plans in that
city or where people are, that's why they're there.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
They're not.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
I didn't even I don't even see my husband. Half
the time he comes in, he comes out. I see
him in the parking lot. No.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Literally, that's exactly we met up with Stephen Jarrett after
the game. You're working in silence. I'm doing game breaks.
Those guys had the time of their life during the game.
We don't even see the time of their lives. Fine
not you're interested cast person. It's officially soup season. Hey,
I really come around on the soup. I know I
say make fun of you, so I'd like to take
the opportunity to apologize.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Can't you come around on Disney World or Land?
Speaker 1 (08:05):
You know what, I might be coming out only for Mac,
only for Mac. I still think it's weird when adults
just go and like, I don't care. I'll take on
any adult. My sister is one of those people. So
I'm not calling out anything.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
You've never come with me before. It's so fun.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
I'm weirded out by the adult Disney thing. If you
don't have kids that are going, why are you strolling
around Disneyland. But again, so fine, you do it in
a different way, So I will refrain from my any
commodity and only judge when I have experienced the full
Andrews Stole experience. That said, and going back to the soup,
(08:42):
I am excited. I'm very excited at soup season. I
made Steve go to Olive Garden the other day because
we were going by living spaces.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
We were new outdoor furniture, all of God unlimited to
go there.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
I went there on Saturday, I said Steve, we were
trying to find some new outdoor furniture. So outdoor furniture
is so fucking expensive. I swear to God, Oh the
teak that, this, that that, Hey guess what, it all
gets ruined. I don't care if I spend an astronomical
amount on the restoration hardware, is the HD buttercup all
of that, or if I go to Target, it's all
(09:16):
going to get beat up outside and I if somebody
wants to challenge me on this, and there's an outdoor
furniture company out right that is going to tell me
that their furniture will hold up versus any other I
would love that challenge Dan the test of time, correct
and all the elements. So we went to Living Spaces.
There's a Olive Garden right next to it, and I said, Steve,
I want to go.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
I love all of garden. He goes, no, we're not
going to alligarden, and go, oh, who are you? I
love Olive Garden. I haven't been to.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
An Olive Garden. And I've been to Disneyland more than
I've been to all of Garden. We know, so I
know you're Disneyland.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
I'm getting my free unlimited breadsticks and salad when I
get my Ministroni soup.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I'm already in the soup spirit. Ladies and gentlemen get okay,
so name your top five soups. Thank you. I thought
you never asked. Top five answers on the board.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
I go miniestrodi chicken noodle, tomato massa ball, round it
out with a lentil.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
That's number five.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
I love a wedding soup too. I'll throw it out
of that wedding soup. Phenomenal shoat out to bottle in
here in her mosa great. I love a massa ball.
I love a chicken noodle. I love a chicken and rice.
I love a la La la la la tomato fire.
I love soup. Ooh, lentil, which is so good, lots
(10:32):
of protein and a lentil soup.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
So much going on. So Jeremy gets it. Jeremy gets it.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Next Anonymous, how to stay positive and keep going through
the emotional rollercoaster of IVFS. I think, look, you gotta
be honest with yourself. You also, as CHRISA would always say,
with a lot of things in my life, give myself grace.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
You have to give yourself grace. It sucks, It just sucks.
I mean, I didn't tell you this just see did
I tell you this?
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Well? No, Just the other day, like I was thinking, like,
as these are stupid thoughts I'm having at seven am.
I'm forty seven years old. I'm like, you know, I
feel good because we're on this any deep peptide journey.
What's going on with my nose? I feel like I
need to take like a zerotech or something. I just
thought to myself. I had seen a couple of things
(11:33):
on the internet just to how nads are really helping
people with fertility issues. And look, we don't have any
really thing left. We do have one. But and I
just thought, what if I try again? What if I
just try one more time? I'm like, what am I doing?
I'm perimen at what you know what I mean? But
I can't with my body Like it's just I've done
it way too much. But oh yeah, me try for
(11:56):
another egg. Yeah, go through IVF yet again? Like can
I talk to my doc? Or it's just not going
to work. But this is the emotional rollercoaster that it
takes you on. It just you have to be honest
with yourself. And I love doctor Cindy. She sat me
down and she's like, I love you. It's your time
is over with this. You just have to be honest.
You have to talk to your friends about it, be vocal,
(12:19):
so as Karsa talks to me about you, don't keep
it all in. But no, something will work out. It
will it just I don't know how, but it will
work out. It's just really freaking hard, and you have
to be honest with yourself about it. But talk to
your friends, lean on your friends and talk about it. Well,
that's what I give you so much credit for that.
(12:40):
That's not an easy conversation to have within your inner
circle and all the emotions that come with it, let
alone how vocal and positive you've been outwardly with the
public about it. And I think that that is so
important to share them so that people don't feel like
they're alone in your case. You know, I remember a
couple of years ago and it was like, you know,
we only have this or whatever, and then you try
(13:02):
it again and it's like and then Mac was here.
So it's like, yeah, I hate to say this because
I have no business.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
I have not been in this situation before. So I'm
only speaking about leaning on whatever. If it's your faith,
if it's your friends, whatever it is. Is that I'm
a big believer in what's meant to be will be.
And sometimes that's cliche and dumb, but I'm like, it
has helped me in different aspects of life. So I
don't read what it is that you lean on, but
(13:27):
lean fully into that and and just know that maybe
it's adoption, or maybe it's you know, something else, maybe
like for me, like, yeah, I'm a mom of animals,
like and I get so much joy out of that, like,
maybe your journey isn't what you painted. Like I've talked
about a million different times, but like I thought I
was going to live happily ever after and you know,
have kids, and that's that's not been my journey. But
(13:49):
I couldn't be happier. So maybe in your head what
you think is the best thing for you ends up
taking you down a different path. That's not to negate
the emotions and the feelings totally. You really want something,
anything for it, and you are a testament to that,
So exhaust all options. And then if you're at a
dead end with it, then know that whoever it is
that you believe in God or whoever, that your your
(14:10):
path may not be where you think it should go.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
Shout out to Kayleen McAdams. I love this quote, what's
meant for you won't miss you? Oh?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
I love that one. Well.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
I love that I wrote it down because I always her,
I go, what was that one?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
You said? What's meant for you won't miss you?
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Oh, I love that. Lily and Beebe's mom cute. That's
just kind of cute. I also love the name lill
and baby. How the heck do you ladies? Wear those
heels all day.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
I don't. Aaron, Yeah, you don't really wear the heels.
I can't. I love heels. I love heels, roxy heels.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
She can catch up football in heels, well, thank you.
I have a very high arch in my foot. I
think that that also helps me wear heels. I remember
when I used to run track, I'd have to have
like an insert for like whatever, some orthopedic thing because
my arch was high. So it's easier for me to
wear heels. I also feel like I feel more feminine.
There's a lot of things in my life where I'm
like a dude on and so I'm like, when I
(15:12):
put on heels, I feel like a lady.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
And I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I just think it's like worth this short amount of
pain that I feel, and it's not that uncomfortable for me.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
To wear heels.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Although when I broke my foot and I have that
plate and screws on the left side. Sometimes I see
my feet and heels and I'm like, I'm not going
to stay foot model anytime now, but you still't care.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Your legs are gorgeous. I don't think I've really talked
about this much. It's not as emotional as the IVF journey.
It is so hard in doing what I do on
the field with footwear because I'm up and down and
there's cords, there's equipment, there's three hundred pound men, there's
(15:52):
walking fast, there's jumping over things.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
So even wearing a heel in a boot is difficult.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
I also want to be comfortable, I get my feet go,
I'm not interested.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
I don't want to be there.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
So we were a lot of shout out to Daniella,
who dresses me, my stylist.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
It sucks for her.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
There is a row full of sneakers and low heeled
boots and she's like, uh, why can't you wear So
it sucks because it kind of changes the vibe of
your outfit a little bit, not a little bit, a lot.
So it's kind of it's not the worst thing about
our job, but it just you don't feel your job
like your job min' on your feet. You are on
your feet ten times longer than I am. I am
(16:31):
out there for pregame, I'm out there for halftime, and
I'm out there for postgame. And that's why I can.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Work at all.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Your great and secure hardly, but your duration of time
is what from when you get to the stadium yesterday
because a three twenty five kick, we left at noon.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Sothern too, we left the stadium at six six fifteen. Okay, great,
so six hours you are on your feet in heels walking.
Have you ever like one of those things where you like,
see how many miles? I used to do it when
I did both sidelines.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
It was great. I was I was moving, moving and shaking.
But yet, no, I don't have to.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
I don't have the same demand on my feet, which
is why I can get away with wearing heels.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Next next, Blue Mind Living. What are your Saturday nights
like during football season versus the off season?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
A lot different? Yeah, a lot different. I went to
bed at eight thirty the other night, and Steve made
the drill.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
He goes, he goes like this, he goes, because I'm
just not interested in being tired. I would much rather
put myself to bed early, even though like it kind
of like tossing turn for a little bit, but I'm like,
I just want to wake up refresh. I'm saying this
too Week three. Who knows what it's going to look
like week seven. But there's been times where, like we've
had different social stuff happen, you know, the one where
(17:49):
there's been the one where I ended up having my
appendix rupture. Oh where we were We were at a
group dinner. I was wondering where this went, and I
was not trying to home early. So there's a time
and a place to stay out. But yeah, I'm being
a good student and going to bed early.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
But Steve, Steve made the joke. He goes, well, this
is the time.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
We're all just kicked back and my lazy bool and
drink some beers while the old, the old missus goes.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
To bed early.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Like he has this like visual of like we're an
old couple and like I put myself to bed early
and he just stays up all night. But no, I
like going to bed early when it calls for it, and.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
I need to sound going to bed.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Yeah, I feel like I don't see Jarrett very much,
so I well, Saturdays, I don't see him at all.
But we go to dinner as a crew. We have
a meeting at six o'clock. We go to dinner and
we try to keep it out quick, like two hour dinner,
like hour and a half.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
You know.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Later games are fun because we feel like we could
have a couple and.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Like joke around.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
We actually had a good time, which I want to
bring it up on the Big Show because I think
it's a fun exercise and people at home are calm
down listeners if they want to interject and maybe give
us some suggestions.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
It's a lot of fun. We played a fun little game.
I love that. All right, Uh, what we got? What
do we got to? Haa you okay, Kara?
Speaker 1 (19:07):
I wanted to talk about the heavy breathing during Late's class.
I too was annoyed by the heavy breathers until I
became one. I'm fifty years old and have two kiddos,
so oftentimes when I sneeze or.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Cough, I pee a little.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
It was infuriating and embarrassing to be in public and
to have to cross my legs when I sneeze. Anyway,
my daughter is doing Legacy Pilate's instructor training, and her
instructor told me so she could fix my problem with
some private classes.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
It worked.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
I learned about precise muscle engagement and specifically how to
engage and strengthen my pelvic floor. It all starts with
the slow force breathing. Well, look at you, Kara, So
many things. Thank you for weighing in.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
You know what I'm thinking of right now? What Howe
Long going? What are you guys going to talk about
this week? That gets you in trouble?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Howie always looked at us when we haven't seen him,
and now I get to see him every week and
he's like, oh boy, you too, And all that pops
in head is me talking about my ut eyes, us
talking about something from has with our yeah, peeing our
pants or I don't know, some sort of issue with it.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
He list to me and goes, you got this seven
year itch on?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
I said, no, we're on eight years, but thanks for listening.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Howie Long, I've crazy said that in Kansas City. That's
so funny.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Hey, I appreciate that though, as I've told anyone, and
I'm I'm gonna say it loud and proud. Howie, listen,
back up, even though you're cringing. If you have chronic
ut eyes, it's not from not having sex all the time.
After sex, that's like, okay, we get it. That's check
number one. It's not about being dehydrated, at least for me.
Mine was about not going to the bathroom whenever I
had to pee and so then your muscles get weakened
(20:42):
and then you have to go a lot.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
So in this particular case, Kara.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
I'm glad that you have strengthened your pelvic floor.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, isn't that like a thing? I know that like
you you're a baby.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Yeah, you or I haven't birthed the child, but like,
I can't imagine what would happen with us if we did,
because we feel.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Like you're going to as you get old as well.
Sorry to cut you off, but I feel like it
goes to when you get older. That's why they say
when you're older, you well maybe that's from having a baby.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
I don't know. It's pretty easy. Same, don't get me
a trampoline. Get Jarrett Hine.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Fell a little bit the other night after we all
went to dinner and I did you wasn't a dress
because I just interviewed Dak and I'm like, I got
