(01:05):
I am at Joe Grand Day fifty two and right
now joining us here in Las Vegas is a very
special guest from Oklahoma, Philip and Vincent's. You can check
out their website. Team Charlie Farms are on Instagram. You
can check them out right there at Team Charlie Farms
as well on the I G I appreciate you guys
(01:26):
stopping buying sitting with us. I mean, Vincent, you look
so cool with your hat on. I don't know if
you're ma fioso style or what you're doing, but you're
hanging out with Philip and Phillips, keeping you say sane
right here. That's right. So I hear you guys started
this brand Team Charlie Farms in California and then figured
you guys who go capitalize in Oklahoma. Tell me the
(01:47):
story that I'm ere hustling of folks and break it
down for us. Yeah. Well, Charlie Farms, just like most
people were, you know, crop to fifteen, back in the days.
We're all doing everything in the Medical. We're the ones
who came up with Charlie Sheen O G. So everyone
who knows that stream, but really Charlie just back in
the days, we're the ones who did that. And because
of you know, the name and so on, we just
call it Charlie O G. Yeah, the team Charlie Farm
(02:09):
has been around all that time since Top sixty four,
been doing some collaborations. Were going to see eleven side transportation,
but on the growing side, we decided to go medical
and Oklahoma for the opportunities, the ease of convenience and
just moving it that forward. You know, you know, speaking
of the Oklahoma market, a lot of people don't realize it,
but Oklahoma exploded. I mean they just opened the doors
(02:30):
for all of the cannabis industry and pretty much let
everybody in correct. Correct, So how is the competition in
Oklahoma right now? What we're finding is there's not a
lot of like centralized branding soul. There's it's kind of
markets kind of all over the place. So you know,
we're looking to come in just really strong with a
nice solid brand. Obviously being in the Charlie O G.
You know table, is there anything else but flowers at
(02:51):
the one strain or what do you guys have? Yeah,
well that's our one proprietary strain. But of course were
we jump on other genetics like Michae Larry from c
Junkies were joined a Apple Fritters runs. But the Charlie
Sheen Ogs are proprietary Janet that we've kept under lock
and key. Never gave a clone out and even under
the fifteen here we license that with Charlie Sheen. No,
that's fine. Now we call her Charlie Og. Charlie won't
(03:14):
he jumped on the tap? Do you say, Charlie Charlie
O G. I just hear Charlie Sheen. Well that's the
way we have some fantas. But what you're supposed to
be listening to, No, No, I love it. I love
the sound words. Yeah, a hundred percent. Dude. You're like,
did you say that, Charlie O G. And I'm like,
Charlie Sheen's got a brand. Yeah, you know, we have
stuff called Tiger's Blood back in the days that went
(03:35):
crazy even you know, because that's when he was drinking
tigers bood and all that. So we jumped on all that,
and of course barketing moving forward and then what they're
trying to monetize the word doing. It's like, okay, we'll
just go ahead. And so you guys a multi state operator.
Are you guys just operating now out of Oklahoma? Oklahoma
for growing? Over here we have a Manajie partnership and
the Sea eleven transportation, but over there more for the
growing side. And so now that he did the growing
side in Oklahoma and wanted to go to this medical route,
(03:57):
how is that different going in Oklahoma doing the medical
route than the regular route here in California. A lot
less regulation oversight. It's like California to fifteen days. Shall
we say? You know what I mean? And as you
see that is it? Is it a good response? In Oklahoma?
How are people receiving your products? They're good? Good because
like for us, we have the experience to me, Oklahoma's new.
(04:18):
So everyone locally there who wants to get into it,
it's gonna make the mistakes that everyone did in California
ten twelve years ago. You know, grow on YouTube and
try to grow. They don't you know, we've all been
through that. It made the mistakes. So you have a
lot of transplants that came from Colorado and California into
that market, and those are the ones that are being
successful because they're not listening to the guy in the
highdral store or YouTube. We we made the mistakes and
know how to put something in the oven and bring
(04:40):
it in. As you said, you made those mistakes, Philip.
What drew you to the cannabis industry? Where does that
love come from? And in that time to say, wow,
I want to spend my money and creating a great brand,
a great product that's gonna help people medically. Where does
that love come from? Just putting seeds in my backyard
in the mid eighties, growing my own stuff, you know
what I mean? And from there back in the days
(05:01):
and Cali when either you've got the Humbolt or you
have britten Sea, you know what I mean? Right, yeah,
And then from there it is how the industry grew
and how now everyone's involved in the part of everyday life.
You know, you guys are originally Where's Homa originally La.
So you know what's crazy is is that you know
a lot of us make that move and it really
(05:21):
I don't know if the Oklahoma market understands it, but
by making that move to Oklahoma, you're actually helping them
pass forward because we've seen so much here in the
state of California. To bring your guys knowledge over there
to Oklahoma allows them to grow in such a manner
that I don't know that you know you'll get the
credit for it or not, but you certainly probably have
(05:42):
an edge on everybody out there. Do you feel that
way when I say that? Or is that? And that's
what it is. We're coming out of their brand and
we're able to force see the market so we know
where it's gonna go right now, Like right now they're
highly just smoking flowers. We know they're gonna move to
two carts and concentrates, so so we're able to plan
ahead of time, so you know, it's an exacting time
for us over them. Absolutely. So what w went to
Oklahoma Pali four years ago, they were still doing the
(06:05):
you know, selling out of the jars, you know what
I mean? And are they still doing that now that
it's still really so we have some stores that moved
evolved the packaging and some of that are still the jars.
So we were trying to educate them also and to
work together to what we know it's gonna come where
it's gonna go and you want to be ahead of
the curve, part of the curve or part of the change.
(06:25):
Like here, it's still evolving in California. Every day there's
new equipment, corn on, new processes, you know, new new technology.
Because money is going into the investment in the in
the opportunities to learn and grow better. We're just you know,
trying to take that information, you know where we can.
What did you guys have to do, Vincent Philip to
move to Oklahoma to do this? And when I say
what did you have to do? You guys started over
(06:46):
here in California. Did you have to like buy property
in Oklahoma? Did you have to become a Sooners fan? Like? Right, Okay,
I hate usc I'm not I'm not brewing either. We
got we got the coach, got the co exactly. But
my point is, though, educate the crowd. And that's listening
(07:06):
around the world. What it took for entrepreneurs like yourselves
moving to the city and the state of Oklahoma to
really capitalize in this cannabis game. What are those steps? Well,
those kind of an organic process for us because I
have other businesses that I'm involved in and one of
my bass showing off. It's yeah, right, thanks, but that's right,
and here's an organic process because I I've been, I've been,
(07:28):
I've been with these guys involved in business for many years.
So it's organic process. When we were from Oklahoma, so
we just basically took the model from here transported to Oklahoma.
I mean, they're they're right market ready. But as you say, transported, right,
because I'm looking and thinking about when we talked about
a story about New Mexico. New Mexico just opened up
and they're looking at to get New Mexicans. That's what
as they used the he said New Mexico. That's what
(07:50):
they say that all the New Mexicans, right, just like
Californians New Mexicans. Yeah, that's what they said it in
the story. And we laughed as me and mar Bread.
I was done. It was real and it's a real
I was like, wait a minute, and I did exactly
what everybody else does when I repeated you kind of
again hilarious that being said, did you have to do
anything to become a local in Oklahoma to start the process?
(08:13):
Are you able to be an entrepreneur and just starting Well,
we were ready over there. We're ready doing business other business,
and so it's a really organic process for us is
to get our licensing and get up that much easier
than Yeah, we had to invest in some property and stuff,
butut as residents, we were already in town. Let me
ask you this is there is there a black market
there or an illicit market there? Because in California we
(08:35):
have such a we have such a like a tough
time with all these different operators and it's like down
the street there's a you know, there's a market. So
is it still like that or because they opened it
up so much, is it less of that? Um? Well
for the storefront side, like not that you should know
any of that, but I'm just ye, you should be
well versumin like I need to know. I just you know,
(08:56):
I mean there's Charlie Farms and there's Charlie Brown Farms.
There's the business and there's the business the football from you. Yeah,
but you know, not storefront wise, more like maybe products
going into the market more than like here you have
all the non licensed dispensaries that are still operating over there.
(09:18):
Basically anybody that's operating has a license, it's just how
they say are they're acquiring their products, what they're really
doing with it correct, because there's not really a tracking
trace program in place. And then of course in the beginning,
when you just flick the switch on anywhere, the demands
canna be more than supply. So how they're getting it
or where they're getting it, you know, that's that's their
question to answer. But where they're growing for it's going right,
(09:39):
how it's getting there right? And it's in the Central
United States, it's always a shorter trip for those backs,
that's true. Why not a tracking trace program? Like why
aren't they just adopting the California process. Yeah, well, Metric
was one of the ones the things that they put
into they were going to put in a place, but
there was a lawsuit because because it's medical there, it's
not recreational, and the initial law was to make it
(10:00):
like you know, donation sort of free, like not costly.
So the Metric system, they were gonna all the growers
and process, we're gonna endure a cost. So they're saying, well,
the state pays for the fees of metric use it,
but why are you asking us to pay for something
that wasn't in the law. Now you're sort of has
a little more good old boys. And they also you
also dealing with the Red State. You know, they're there
their free market state and the regulation is just not there,
(10:22):
so you know, I like it. But also what I
see is once Texas opens up and they allow you
guys to do interstate trading, it's over right. I mean
it's so much so does Oklahoma. But you know it's
the prime spot. Like Oklahoma is already so much ready
to just deliver right into it. You can almost you know,
attack that market. And you look at Kansas too, because
(10:44):
Kansas has these fields out there too that once they
start growing out there, all that bid Bible belt area,
that's gonna be high as a kite, which you know,
I mean a bunch of things. What it goes recreational
and everyone's gonna be popping out there. You guys just
mentioned prices. I'm just curious because I have no clue
on this. What are the prices up there for the
cannabis in Oklahoma? Well, because it's like really not metric
tractor and trains, it's just like old school stuff and
(11:05):
they're pretty similar to over here California prices. Good people
would just give you shout out to blacks, you know,
so people just give me weeds. So you know, when
you talk about pricing, I'm like, yeah, my price is good,
you know, right, So like you'll see a seventy dollar
tax over there's it's not tax like here. So the
(11:27):
d sale customer price anywhere from say thirty to sixty
would be the ranges depending on the quality. But it's
of course because it's not tax like California buds. Are
you seeing a lot of indoor outdoors greenhouse? What's the
majority of the of the movement out there, and and
what are you guys specifically producing. We're producing indoor flower.
The majority of the market is right now, indoor runs,
(11:49):
indoor runs, Chargers Team Charlie Farms on the I g

check out those runts. They look beautiful online. I see
the wax, I see all this stuff. And as we
talked about the flower, as we're here with Philip and Vincents,
(13:32):
how many other products do you guys have besides flowers.
Right now, we're just gonna be coming out with some flower,
some vapes, some pre rolls, the Kissed that Mike Baby.
Just get in there, say out here, Philip, you can't
be like no worries man. Yeah, right, flower vapes and
pre rolls initially, and then we're gonna move on to
(13:53):
some concentrates and what do you guys see yourself? What
is the big plan for Team Charlie Farms dominate the market? Man?
Oklahoma's right and ready to go. We see a lot
of opportunity there. There's not a lot of unity out
in Oklahoma's really that. It just seems like you have
a bunch of people, bunch of bunch of homegrowers that
came out of out of the woodworks and just kind
(14:13):
of growing. Then you've got some people from Colorado, Kelly.
But we really wanted to just kind of unify the
bout and create and create a unity out there, because, bitch,
do you feel like that? Do you that like homie style? Like,
come on you guys, it's all come together, Because I
feel like that used to be the cannabis game, and
I feel like a lot of times it's not as well,
like there's a lot of people now we see the
stupid idiots, disciples of the Devil stepping on cannabis, putting
(14:37):
you know, things in it, and it's just ridiculous where
it's going sometimes now where I'm like, what's the point
on with this game? But I mean sometimes it's point sideways.
Some people try to cut corners. It's in that What
are the big things that you're noticing in Oklahoma that
just aren't happening phil just unity, working together. Everyone seemed
doing their own theme, you know, which is a good
because they're trying to do their own path. But like
(14:59):
we're trying to build lationships with dispensaries, you know, and
markets like this out there like fair Child Cannabis talks
feeling out there to have some but they're not. They're
not as big, they're not as unified. And that's kind
of what we were just having this conversation is there's
not really a need for competition. There's enough for everybody,
you know. So that's what we were talking about, just
bringing everybody together and centralizing the market and and growing.
(15:20):
Do you know what. I think a lot of that
comes from like all of us have been in this industry, right,
So we need leaders. Right. So in order to lead, though,
you have to have people that are willing to to
to allow people to be leaders. It's very difficult sometimes
when everybody feels like they're the leader. You know. So
in Oklahoma, where there's a market where we know, like
like respectfully, you know, they don't they haven't seen what
(15:44):
we've seen in the California market right there. They just
like they've got all of our you know, we've we've
definitely from California in the United States. We've been shipping
cannabis there for hundreds of years or whatever it has been.
But in order to have people that are leading, and
like I said, when I walk into I did a
tour out there and I got dragged drug out there
by some some uh some folks that were asking me
(16:06):
to come and get involved in. They took me to
like seven different dispensaries. And as I went to these
seven different dispensaries, I realized I was like, what are
you guys doing. I was like, no, one's doing like
you know, like patient appreciation days, you're not doing. And
the guy was like, what's a patient appreciation day? And
I'm like, no, dude, They don't have any kind of
infrastructure yet, or I mean when you were there, this
(16:28):
is yeah, four years ago, five years ago, whatever, they
didn't have really an infrastructure. And I was like, dude,
you guys got the ability to be like way ahead
of us based on the way that that your state
allowed you to roll out and and the state of
Oklahoma allowed the cannabis industry just to roll out. And
I I literally went out to Oklahoma, got an Oklahoma
(16:50):
driver's license, got a piece of property, you know, opened
a facility there, and sold it to somebody within like
a matter of months. You know. But but I I've
seen that, and I didn't necessarily, uh, I want to
move to Oklahoma, you know. So so going back to Colorado,
right when Colorado had this opportunity, I was and this
(17:13):
is two thousand, fourteen, fifteen. I got pulled into Colorado
to consult with the group, and they asked me, hey,
come out here. We want to move your whole family here.
We want to set up grows. And my brother's like,
you know, we went out there, we've seen it, and
we didn't believe that Colorado was gonna adopt it the
way they did, right, which was our own fault, right,
(17:33):
because we were just like California is gonna go away
before Colorado, and then Colorado hit the gas and went running.
But the brands out there adopted the real industry. They
actually started producing packaging. They allowed the cup you know,
the businesses to operate under a metric system where I
think it was tracking uh M J freeway or something
like that, right, And so while that was going down,
(17:56):
I'm just going like, what in Oklahoma for some reason
hasn't picked that up yet? Why is that? Like, guys,
what's going on? Is it just because it's still a
free market and they want to let it grow and
because you know, or is it because what's what do
you feel that that? Why isn't the infrastructure a dent
as tight as the rest of the states. Well, I
(18:16):
believe it's coming. I think now they know they grew fast,
too fast, too big, And now regulation and you know,
readoption of some policies are gonna take place. Um and
then it's also weeding itself faut. Like you said for
a while there, anybody, if you have property land and
you pay the feed, you've got your license. So now
those who decide here this isn't for me or we're
not making it. Those people are being weeded out. But
(18:37):
to your point, over the last three, four or five years,
there are a few good dispensaries and owners who were
adopting the good business policies Oklahoma, Cush, you know, Okay,
see seeds cake. They're putting money into their operations. They're
not just like hey, let me just put a green
green sign here and I'm open. They're actually investing into
their businesses and and helping the patients. And that's something
that we're bringing, is the experience here from California that
(18:57):
we've done and trying to work with those dispensaries and
not educated, but like, hey, let's just work together for
a common goal, you know, to to serve the patients.
We work together. Yeah, and that's really where our model
is to try to build their business, Like how can
we help you build your business? You know, because it's
a win win situation. And that's what we're seeing in Oklahoma.
Like everybody's they need it, they need it right, and
it's hard sometimes to tell somebody like hey, listen, you
(19:19):
know we've seen something and we understand where you're messing up.
Pay attention and follow our lead. Will help you achieve
these goals because in their mind, they've already got everything
they need and they don't need your advice. They don't
need your advice. And not only that, Like I've seen
some of the money that these operators make. Some of
them are doing very well in Oklahoma. I've had a
few of them come on our show and I'm like
(19:40):
what they're talking about their numbers and I'm like, what
you guys are doing numbers like that, like, yeah, we're
the leading edible company. I don't remember the edible company
that came on I remember, but I can. Yeah, you know,
a couple of beautiful like a beautiful family and they've
got like the number one edible company out there, and
their model is just like just they're just like literally
(20:02):
cutting and putting it in bags and selling it. I'm going, dude, like,
you guys can become so much bigger if you just
you know. And they're still making a ton of money.
But I think because they're happy making that money that
they're not really like I'm not gonna change unless I'm
forced to kind of thing. And a lot of them
don't see that the industry this is where it can
be and will be as it keeps growing. They're just
seeing the current opportunity in front of them, not what's
(20:25):
ahead of them. Yeah, and for us, we've seen it.
We've seen a blossom since or property fifteen came in
and where it is now twenty five years later and
we're you know, hopefully going to go worldwide, you know,
California and just with the brand, are you guys looking
to get storefronts or what is Team Charlie Farm is
also looking into as you say, grow world right now,
we're going with just the brand where we want to
(20:45):
focus on our brand. We want about how spencers are
you guys at out there in Oklahoma right now? We've
got relationships and like just fifteen sixteen. That's all we
need at the moment because we're making ourselves exclusive. Like basically,
we want to drive our business to that. Charlie is
only right here and we've gotta brand in the oven
right now. We've got something cooking that we're gonna bring
out pretty soon and just sort of like you got
a cannabis talk one on one brand coming home. Here
(21:06):
you go, Dottie Tornados, Dodgy Tornados out there, let's go,
let's go it out there, literally, Hey guys, is there
anything that we haven't mentioned that you guys want to
get out there to the world to speak about? Of course,
Team Charlie Farms dot com Do we miss is the
website and on Instagram. Team Charlie Farms just just keeping out.

new brand that we're gonna that we're gonna shoot out
and that's gonna be really fun. We're gonna be doing
some events and launching. Bro let's drop it. Let you
say there's something cooking, Let's make it. Why did you

black business. I mean, talk about how you start this,
how you do this? You gave me this one hit
or quitter. There's just so many things, but I want
to get into how you got into this game. Talk
to her. Listen. Six years ago I started in for
em in first and foremost, thank you, Pop brothers in
law man, y'all are the bomb. I start appreciate to
(24:24):
be here with you. But six years ago, I'm like,
I'm based in Florida, right, Florida is the most janki
est state in the world when it comes to like
just law and being able to roll out of a
program that makes sense. And so I started Minorities for
Medical Marijuana because I wanted people from my community to
participate in this industry but also to have access to
the medicine. And so I create the organization. We are
(24:45):
a nonprofit. We are five of one C three. We
have twenty seven chapters throughout the country and literally we've
been working for the last five and a half years
on creating parody, fairness, social equity, social justice, public policy.
I have three international chapters, three h B c U
S and I just launched my own brand, Black Buddha Cannabis.
(25:05):
So let's I love the logo Black Buddha Cannabis. And
like I said, it's coming to a dispensary near you.
I see creativity and light, mench zen, relaxation and wellness,
pain relief. Talk about these different things you got there,
So listen. I suffered a traumatic brain injury this summer.
Shout out to nicolba Phone, she was my caregiver. I
(25:26):
was in a car accident, just got slam and ended
up having a post concussion syndrome. Was in the hospital
for four days, passed out a boy three or four
different times, and literally cannabis saved my life. Like I
shoot you now, like because I'm sorry, don't don't cuss
on here, please alright, Jerome Baker, Baker, what's that? That's
(25:52):
the glass man? So so listen. Ended up like just
was out of it. Like the concussion of athletes have
where they can't like where you have to sit out
for a cussion protocol. That was me for almost three
and a half four weeks. Nauseated, disoriented, couldn't talk, couldn't
keep my thoughts together. And so Nicole came. She lived
with me. She put me on CBD around the clock,
(26:12):
and I was I was vaping dry flour. Talk talk
a little bit more about around the clock, what do
you mean? So every four or five hours, she would
make sure I would have enough CBD in my system,
regardless of how I was feeling. And then whenever I
have that concussion, like that pressure where you feel like
your head is underwater and like it's I mean, it's
the worst thing in the world, she would give me
um the da Vinci da Vinci device. She would put
(26:35):
the dry flour in there and I would bait dry
flour and it would relieve that pressure. And after about
three and a half weeks, I slowly started coming back
to myself. I was doing chanty mantra meditation. Um, I
had lavender and my diffuser. I couldn't you know, I
couldn't talk on the phone, I couldn't watch television, A
lot of stuff for three and a half weeks. This
cannabis listen, guys, it brought me back to life. It
(26:58):
brought me back and black blew. The cannabis is all
about creating enlightenment, not getting high, but doing something so
that when people walk in dispensary they tell you how
you feel, they can be able to have either creativity, enlightenment,
wellness or zen for relaxation. You know what that's This
is a testimonial. This is a testimonial. This is this
is so beautiful because when you say this, I hear
(27:19):
it from your soul and I love you for it.
I love you for it. Our whole industry loves you
for it because this is the type of you know,
compassion that our industry has. And I love you for
young ladies, this is awesome. Now we appreciate you doing this,
and I'm just curious. Were you in the cannabis before
this brain whole accident happened. Yeah, so I've been running
(27:40):
in for mm all this for the last five and
a half years, Minorities for Medical Marijuana. So I'm the
founder and the CEO. But when I started the organization,
I started because my son has simple cell anemia, right,
and I lost my mom to breast cancer and oh five.
So I wasn't a smoker. I wasn't a consumer. I
had never consumed when I started this organization. That's what
I heard when I felt like, That's what I heard
when I heard you speaking, because you're like I tried it,
(28:02):
like went back to it when I tried it. Yeah,
that's what I heard in you. That's why I wanted
to clarify. I listen. Nicole came. She was like she
was a sergeant. She ripped out all my all my
process food in my pantry. She you know, she made
sure I was eaten clean. But she brought the CBD
in my life. She brought the cannabis flower. I learned
to understand my body and what worked from my body.
(28:23):
I didn't know any of that stuff. I didn't realize
I wasn't. I was running the organization and wasn't feeding
my own endocannabinoid system. When I tell you this is medicine,
I'm telling you for all those tb I patients out there,
I am living with this, that this plant it can
do wonders and black Buddha cannabis. Is that only gonna
be in Florida? No, man, No, we're going nationwide. Hey,
(28:45):
we're going nationwide, so as we should. So the states
that were able to create partnership with operators, we're gonna
do a licensing deal and basically California's were the first
dates we're gonna come to. Shout out to California Cannabis.
There are a partner here in calip forn You is
all about us being able to provide is really quality,
no booth, high end flower that's going to make a
(29:08):
difference and make people feel better. And that is so
amazing because your testimony is so much truth, like blue set,
it's heartfelt, it's wonderful. I can't wait for you to
spread that word. Maybe we get her at G four Live.
He's the creator of G four Life. Ship like this
that you're talking about the stuff that needs to be
exposed and exposed in a way of like, look at
(29:28):
what this plant does for people who go through brain
traumatic experiences. And not only that. Now I want to
switch to the minorities for medical marijuana. I look through
this pamphlet. Your story is wonderful, and there's just so
many different people that you're helping in so many different brands,
and so many beautiful people in here. Talk about exactly
what this is because I just see so many beautiful
(29:50):
black folks in this, and I see yourself and your
company and and just so many others. So talk about
some of the different companies that are in here. Absolutely well.
First shout out to j Bail, she's here in the house.
Then wellness, if you go to like the fifth or
six page, she has a beautiful cbd um high end
line for skincare. There. Let me tell you guys, there's
(30:10):
no more excuse about I can't find black brands that
are great that I can put on the shelf. We
have it. We're gonna we're working on volume two right now.
This is volume one. We're gonna add to it. It's
just wonderful because I love the luxury products that she
has right there. Listen. She's beautiful. Her product line is beautiful.
We have a help help hearts that are available. We
have a guy named Willie Coco. He does exotic chocolates.
(30:32):
If you look on there, this guy is the master
of chocolates. Why don't we see his brand in a dispensary.
We have Opa Smith. He's with tetragram Um. Tetragram is
an actual app for the for the cannabis industry. It's
just some beautiful people in here. We want to see
them get opportunities and be able to flourish in this industry.
You know, I guess love people that stand up for anything, right,
(30:54):
And I don't mean just only for black folks. I'm
saying anything, and I don't care if you're out there
listening you're Asian and you think, hey, we need to
we need to make a big market and didn't do it.
Folks starting minorities for medical marijuana as well. Let these
and these. She what Ross is doing is standing up
for her people, and I love that, right. Like people
who do this, don't just think, oh the Mexican to
(31:15):
do the you can't do. If you're listening, don't be afraid,
don't be shy like this is what it's about. Rosin
what you're doing, because you've been doing this for five
plus years already on the grind and not even smoking cannabis,
just not something like hype on. I want to rise
my people up, which I love that, and then realizing
ship I'm rising these up for something that's really medically
(31:38):
benefiting folks out there in the world, that can change lives.
And how weird and random and an unfortunate situation where like,
you look at things that happen in life, and there's
always that story that I look at, is it a
blessing or curse? Folks, there's an old Bible story and
when you look at these curses that happened, it becomes
a blessing. I thought it was a curse. I thought
(31:59):
when I was laying in bed in the dark, couldn't
even get my thoughts together. I was like, am I
permanently damage? And so you all, we all go through
something to get to another spot in life, and it's
all about what you do to make a difference, how
you pay it forward. And so for me it's a privilege.
It's honored to pay it forward by having these folks
this look what it was it was a branch house.
(32:20):
It was just it came to me. No pun intended,
yes exactly, but it came to me. How do we
take these these folks? And everybody has a story, so
they tell you about their story. And the one thing
about this is is that you don't have to contact
me or in for MM to get in contact with them.
We have all of their contact information in there. It
tells you what they're looking for, if they're looking for financial,
(32:40):
if they're looking for an investor, if they're looking to
get place. It's all about how do we create opportunity
and create community. And I'm just proud and I want
to tell folks if you want to look them up
or talk to them, it's The website is M for
m M United dot org. So that's M the number
four m M. You and I T E D dot org.
(33:02):
Check them out online and what else can we expect
from you guys? I know your brand, you want to
go nationwide? What else can we look for? Because minorities
for medical marijuana, we actually gave you guys a lot
of love it or after four shout out to Scherbinsky
for introducing you years. I believe that's how we met
you listen between clubhouse and all the ways that you
(33:23):
guys like you're always talking about how can we support you?
First and foremost. We want to create a webinar and
have you guys come on and talk about what people
should do if they get stopped, Like we are the
black folks and the brown folks are the one they're
still getting targeted. When I used to think that was
oh bullshit, I had a big old argument of market
gray washingman. I was like, wait a minute, it ain't
happening for us. Blue and I get pulled over and
we got ross in the car. We're going down. Keith
(33:44):
Dollan is the only one that's gonna walk out of this. Mother.
I'm making at what's going down. We run nine programs,
so we have an expuisement program called Private Queen Slate.
We have some supply diversity program called in procure dot org.
So for to shout out to. We got some great
program partners, purely truly, Hawthorne, Um, you name it. We
(34:07):
got more people coming on board. We want to be
a G four live. Yes, I was gonna say, I
wasna say you inspired me with this. I want to
get you a G four Live. I want you to speak, yes,
but I'd like to go through this book and find
some way to bet you got to tighten up you
talking to the mike. Please keep that yes, okay, welcome
(34:28):
to the listeners. Can hear you loud and clear? Take two?
Say that again? Because that was powerful. I'm very I'm
literally very inspired by this. Uh. I would like to
be able to find a way for us to take
this booklet and let's put it on our platform and
people can vote for a specific winner to get a
free booth, but everybody will get a very special man
thing from us. Yes, they can do. Thank you. Um,
(34:51):
we want to like, we need you, Keith, we need
we need the community to come and embrace on us.
And we're gonna come. Correct, We're gonna bring something. We're
gonna we bet the folks out we interview that we
made sure that they are either contract ready or brand ready.
So let's do it. Whenever you want to do you
know what, We're gonna take it one step further. Let's
do a social award, but for the bud Tender awards. Hey,
let's do it. Let's do it. What do you mean
(35:15):
social award? What does that mean? Like what what are
you what are you looking at? And I know this
is the social impact social impact. So we we started
to develop a little bit more about the bud Tender awards,
where first it was like CBD Influencer seven twenty, you know,
just seven ten. We we had all these different awards
that we're sort of category based. Now we've started to
go into the effect based of like the influence or
(35:36):
the Impact awards, things like that that really matter about
what people are not only doing in the industry, but
what they're doing outside of the industry. That's a good
representation of how to lift the stigma. Yeah, I just
received I just received from the Black Cana conference in
New Orleans last two weeks ago, the Advocate of the
Year awards. So shout out to them. It was my
peers acknowledging the work that I've done. Um, it hasn't
been me alone. I have such an awesome team, but
(35:58):
we need to recognize impacts been half that's happened in
this industry. Absolutely ross. When we're off of this stage,
I want to exchange inf with you and get right
on it. Let's get it's you know, that's just how
these type of relationships happening Talk one oh one We're
all the Way Live is doing this thing, of course
with G four Live, and I asked him to sit
(36:19):
down with us, not even with the intention of this,
but I was like, I wanted Rose to come back
and sit down. I told Keith, Keith, I've been wanting
to talk to Ross sit down because I want to
talk to you as well, but just sit down and
just hang out with us. And I had no idea
to go in this direction. But it's a blessing from
the Lord right now because hearing what you're saying and
everything that you're just talking about, it's freeding our three
souls up here. I know Blue is feeling it. I
(36:40):
know obviously keeps feeling that he wants to do something
now with you. There's a lady in this book. Her
name is Mama I forgot his mama's thank his mama Joyce.
But anyways, long story short, her son was stefan Um.
He was killed in Sacramento. Um. I don't know if
you guys remember the story. He was in the backyard
of his grandmother's house. Yes, right, yes, she's in there
(37:00):
with her brand And so these are folks, these are
real folks. So she tells her story in there about
her son, about why she created this brand called Justice Street. Listen, guys,
I need us to put a spotlight in these volts
I love and and this is the only version one.
We got version two, you know, coming out in December
for Christmas, so we'll have brands in there. Mama Clark,
(37:23):
Mama Clark. That's it, Mama, yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you
so much. Anything rods that we're missing that you want
to promote and talk to everybody out there about. I
just need people. When you go into your retailer, you're dispensed.
We asked for black blue to cannabis. If it's not,
they're telling to get it there. Because the way that
I support my community, the way I support in for
MM when people won't do it is you know what,
(37:43):
I'll go out and I'll make the money and I'll
come back and self support my own organization. So listen,
I need you guys support me, and we need more
people like you. Let a little more women like your
minority women like you. Just check off so many check marks,
dude on the book. And it's my birthday. How about that?
Have to give her a lad in Vegas, give me
(38:06):
my chest stout all the standards. Well, we love you.
Check out the website Black Buddha Cannabis dot c o,
and of course, for the social cannabis brands, it's m
F M M United dot org. Thank you so much
for coming on the show Blue. If nobody else loves you,
we do. Thank you for listening to Cannabis Talk one
(38:27):
