at one the number one that is Christopher Wright. Hello,
and I am at Joe Grande fifty two. For all
your social media needs and love, please find us and
say hello to us all you guys. I got some
interesting stuff here. You know, and I'm not gonna lie.
(01:10):
I don't know how I feel about this so much.
On the medical aspect, I love it, but I want
to get your take on it, and I just want
to read the story first though. And bottom line, it's
coming down to mushrooms and cannabis and we've all been
hearing about it and how the psychedelic of mushrooms is
helping people. I mean, it's legal here in California and
Oakland right now, Oakland, California, you ain't getting bustled with
(01:32):
my mushrooms. You're good. You could use it medically only
Oakland's you know what I'm saying. In the town, you
go to the town, you can get down with a
little cap, right Those who don't know the cap is
what they call the mushroom head. But some big folks,
you guys, are talking about this that's wanting to read
the story to you until your take, you shut your
(01:53):
pie hole. Kristen Bell and Bill Murk, comedian find healing
with mushrooms and cannabis. They said it's becoming increasingly safe
for the public figures to open up about how they
are breaking bad habits and getting themselves into a good
place through their use of psychedelics and cannabis. Most recently
(02:13):
the actor Kristen Bell, who of course known for her
roles and Frozen. If you haven't watched Frozen Under a Rock,
Kids Kids Too, you don't know who else is. Come
on now. The comedian so Bill Burr and then known
for his Breaking Bad and the Mandalorian both shared healing
(02:34):
trip tales from their time and quarantine. So quarantine helped
them get through this. But listen to these stories, they
just lost their deal. You would think frozen. And as
you say that, I read this story, well, no, she's
not going nowhere. That that's frozen. I don't care. If
you're in Target, you're in Kmart, you're in Walmart, you
(02:57):
see it in the kids section, the close section. But
that's probably the sending up and that, you know what
Disney's I've seen comments on this because oh Disney is
pushing this on everyone. I'm watching this Disney show called
Big Shots. It's about a coach who coaches these girls
and they have a girl on girl relationship on it,
and a lot of people are saying, oh, Disney shows
(03:18):
are pushing a lot of gay stuff on everybody, right,
just bitching the complain. I'm like, it's just life, It's
just love. Even in Cruella, the new movie that Disney
put out with Corrella, which is another good one. As
you can see. I have kids, and I watched these
shows like that and I love them tremendously. But Cruella
is a story of this girl who gets all crazy,
but then they have this other gay guy on there.
(03:38):
And I've been reading comments because I was intrigued to
what people thought of the movie, because I love them both, right,
both shows in the movie, and people are bashing Disney
going to're forcing this on and what So it's like
cannabis now, I think. And I mean because I've been
watching a lot of different shows across all kinds and
watching your show that you told me about the other day.
What was the startup? Startup I've tried? I was about
(03:58):
to my wife came to get Netflix. Is it? There
are the three people on the cover, the two guys,
A black guy, white guy, a chick. Yeah, okay, yeah,
I'm really good, really good. But you know what, and
there's like out of the blue and all these their
Netflix or HBO or whatever it is. You see those
other types of relationships. It's not that they're pushing it
(04:22):
on anybody. It's just this is part of life, and
that's how people not accustomed to it and you see it.
I think what happens is is you you pointed out
more wake up? No exactly, wake up? Where do you live?
Oh there's black guys on TV. Now, there's a lot
of black women. What's the fund is your problem? Yeah?
What is you wrong with you? I gotta watch shut up.
(04:44):
It's like I was telling you that you shouldn't. I'm
just saying I'm reading it was not of that one.
I'm just saying how people can act stupid about that.
I'm talking about these Didney shows and people saying that.
As you mentioned Kristen Bell coming out like this, people
are attacking it and I'm waiting to see if I
read them back about this. Yeah, let me give you
this or you guys. As Kristen Bell said, she was
I just couldn't stop touching my legs, going on and on,
(05:06):
and she's like, you're so strong, You're so elegant. Bell
told Sean Hayes and Dr Wally on an episode of
the podcast hydro condre Actor, a show that interviews stars
about their medical expressions well. Bell came on the show
to talk about anxiety, depression, and eczema issues that she
struggled with for years. When the topic of depression was
(05:27):
brought up, Wally asked Bell has she considered alternative therapies
such as meditation and psychedelics and cannabis. She was yeah,
I'll give you a headliner, Bell responded. She recounted her
birthday experience with mushrooms, saying that her husband and of course,
fellow actor Dak Shepherd um baby sat her. Bell recalled falling,
(05:50):
telling Shepherd, excuse me, I really would like to experience this.
I'm not going to party with it, but I want
to know what it feels like. The instant ration to
try mushrooms for her while being with her husband was
a great because of course her husband's and next at
it right. So I don't know if you guys know this,
he said, He's been sober for a long time. Dax says,
(06:12):
but they talk about the set and setting in the
book of of How to Make It Comfortable. Bell said,
in this book that they're putting out and I'm very
lucky to be married to an ex drug addict. Not
only did he know where to get the mushrooms, which
is great. But he got that really nice quality organic
set of settings, beautiful mushrooms. She joked about it. The
(06:34):
point behind that is she's a major star, folks, She's
after me major exactly, and we need more and more
and more of those. Break the stigma out in public,
use that public form to break the Comedian Bill burr
Now appeared on Conan last month. Conan O'Brien told the
(06:55):
fellow comedian that he appeared calmer, and he goes, I
know you had a second childre he s lee. Fatherhood
calming you down, he asked, laughing, but irresponded, I ended
up taking mushrooms and smoking weed. We're explained that fatherhood
made me. Uh, Folks with me, fatherhood made me have
to figure myself out because I didn't want the kids
(07:17):
to go through some of the stuff that I went through.
People familiar with birth stand Up know that his stories
about his rough childhood, including his father's angry outbursts, are
often central to his routines, but he told Conan that
these psychedelics helped him figure out his own temper, leading
him to be a better father. I just find it,
like I said, you guys. Interesting because I really truly
(07:42):
believe that a lot of these medications, especially these plant
ones and mushrooms and cannabis, can really help a lot
of people. And this is too good anecdotal evidence. But
on the flip side, I truly believe this too, especially
when it comes to mushrooms more so than cannabis. But
I've seen some cannabis been idiots in the corner that
are just stone and go. They're just idiots. And I
(08:03):
love that when you say that, Craig, and I agree
with that. But on the mushroom side, you have to
what you said too. But micro dose, I was gonna
I was gonna say years ago, years ago, you take
a handful of him and you go on a really
nice trip. So my my point is, well, after having
a conversation with you, Craig earlier today, we might have
to get your brother on some caps of micro docing
(08:26):
micro Let me say this, man, is that you know,
sometimes you see that person in the corner and you
can always dose up and and they don't know how
to dose, and it's their first or second time. You know,
everybody remembers their first time, you know, doing whatever they're doing.
And so they don't necessarily understand that when they eat
a full chocolate bar, they just ate, you know, seven
(08:48):
grams or thousand, thousand milligrams or thirty milligrams at that
and the person that gave it to him didn't educate
them properly. So it's so important because right now what's
happening is we're educating the mark and that's why you
have people that are coming out of the closet. And
we used to call it the green closet, but now
it's the mushroom closet, it's the green closet, it's all
(09:08):
of those things. In fact, we're gonna do mushroom talk
one oh one, Yeah, and nobody I like this too.
From Bill Burr Bill Burst. Initially the reason for taking
mushrooms wasn't to heal. However, he said he was turning
fifty three years old, which is right around the corner
for me, and he's never tripped and didn't want to
miss out on the opportunity. So on a family trip
(09:28):
to Joshua Tree, he ate what he considered a low
dose of mushrooms and found himself feeling this way and
feeling better, And you know what if that's what it
takes like I look at my wife, who will have
a glass of wine, and you know, my kids joke
about it, going, oh, she starts snapping, mommy new glass
of wine. Right. Our dad goes smoke a cigar, right,
(09:49):
our dad, Oh he needs a cigar. Whatever. If a
little micro docing helps certain people who are we all
to judge, right, And I think that if we can
get to point where we have real f D, a
approved scientific evidence that says this does that, which we've
been preaching on this show for years, but even now
(10:12):
moving towards mushrooms, I feel like I say though for it.
But yet I remember having some mushrooms trips dog where
I've seen little military men going on top of my
bucking microwave. Granted it was an ethan, you know what
I mean. And one of my buddies sat on the
couch for about eight hours of the couch over his
face and I'm like a little rich okay, and all
I did shake his head. Yes. So, I mean I've
had a couple of stories of my mushroom trips were
(10:34):
never liked that I because we always went the future.
I didn't like I mean three or four times back
way back in the day and we went out a
hundred times, hundred times, three or four times, and we
always did something. We went and explored the underground of
u c l A campus. We thought we were giants.
We found this in the next day. The next day
we found out that next right next to campus, there's
(10:57):
a little creek that run round on campus. And right
next we found out later it was it was like
a kindergarten day school. Because we were sitting in these
chairs thinking were giants, but they were little kid chairs.
But we didn't know that until the next day and
we looked under the trip we ever had bad experience,
But I did hear my friends who stayed indoors. Anybody
(11:19):
I ever heard who stayed indoors and took an eighth
or whatever of of of shrooms, they didn't have good trips.
I remember going to caraves and parties and having a
good time like that, and going to Santa Cruz and
having some good times. It's it's scarier. It's scarier to
go outside, right because once you go, I know, it's
a great time once you do, I'm saying, but but
to leave the house kicks in because you're putting yourself
(11:41):
out there right, and you're you're out there, and I'll say,
I've been in the house and and I've been sitting
on the couch and and and I'll tell you and
I've been outside. And the outside ones are much better,
by the way, but the inside trip. You know. I'm
sitting there one day and I'm that might one of
my cousin's house, and I'm looking at the TV and
everybody's rolling laughing, and then all of a sudden, I'm
looking at the TV and you don't you guys remember
(12:03):
like the the you know, the swirls from the kaleidoscope. Yeah,
like it's it's just the whole TV just want zoop.
And then it was just crazy when you could trip
like that. The TV was a dot and I was like, hey,
it's a TV on it, but it's like TV's on.
I'm looking at the whole TV is black, but there's
one dot in the middle of it, like micro size,
and I'm like, the TV is not on? Who turned off?
(12:23):
Maybe I just got really lucky and dost right. I mean,
I just see And that's the thing that I had
no idea. I mean, back then it was in a
big old fat baggy and he just took and it
just tasted the best one. Then I'll take us out.
I'll take us out with this story. So I don't know.
(12:44):
I want to show this is the true story, you know.
So my my friend and I decided to put it
in the milkshake and is placing pump springs. That's your milkshake,
brings all the boys of the yard. What are you
talking about there? Like? Oh my god, damn right, it's
better than yours. I mean, do we have cannabis ladies? Next? No,
we don't. Actually, that's where we had. This is the
(13:06):
finish your story at another time. No, tell us now,
go ahead, we have time right back after this break,
come back and tell her we have It doesn't matter.
It's our show right now. It's it doesn't matter. We're
three too. Seriously, tell the story now we're back. I can't,
I can't hold back. I want to hear the story.
So you know how you're you're bringing up how nasty
(13:27):
that ship tastes right, right, so, Mike, So we put
it in the milkshake and witham and stuff. No, there
was some ice streaming there, I believe, and it was
that my friends father's palm Springs condo on the golf course.
Oh wait, grandma was his His grandma was visiting that weekend,
I hope. And she comes in. Shut up. Luckily there
(13:51):
was less than I don't know, half inch maybe on
the bottom of the blender that was left. And she's like,
I what's out you guys making some milkshake? I want
some And we're like, oh ship. And she comes up
and she pours the rest of it in a cup
and it was really it was a little bit and
she drank it, and uh so we we ate dinner
(14:13):
right and throughout dinner she starts getting funny. Is fuck,
that's awesome? And then and then I mean so that
that was nothing really happened, but I mean she tell
she was having a really good time. And then we
took my friend's dad's golf cart out for a ride
at night. Oh my god, we almost rolled it three times.
(14:34):
I think we smashed the ship out of it going
down an embankment, like whoop, whoop. As it's mushroom talk
right here, I had a good for you. So it's
about in the morning, as we've been partying where you know,
are the trip is in. It's hard to the same day.
As I told you, my buddy, a little Rich was
sitting there with a pillow in his face. Rich you okay,
she shakes his head. Yes, you want to be here? Yes,
(14:55):
shakes his head. You want to spoke with joint shakes
his head. You want to hit this or past the
blond around whatever. Alright, dudes, one forty five, We've got
to go to the store. I'm living downtown San Jose.
I'm big Joe for the doghouse, purple hair, green hair, whatever,
so noticeable. I'm tripping so hard night in my head.
I go, oh, no, I don't want anybody to notice me. No, so,
I don't want anybody knows this three pounded purple haired
monster that's gonna go down Seventh Street, downtown seven eleven,
(15:19):
and my buddy got um Chuck, goes Joe. No one's
gonna recognize you. I go, okay, let's go like I
believed him? Right, No one's gonna read know how you
believe somebody? No? Okay, cool, no one's gonna recognize me. Rich.
You want to go with us? He shakes his head. No, So, okay,
we'll be right back. We bounced to the store, which
was a block away as we're going down to the
(15:39):
store honking. I'm telling like Mark, but there's Joe like,
oh god, oh god. People knows what I'm trying to,
like go into the houses, into the bushes I grabbed,
I tear off some bushes and like like like walking
with bushes on me. We finally get into seven eleven.
People recognize me. These chicks recognize me. My buddy grabs
the beers that we've got a case of beer, and
(16:00):
he turns and he hits the news stand and knocks
all the papers down, and when you're tripping, he was
just like, oh no. We run out of the store
all scared. After we paid for the beer. There's newspapers everywhere.
It's one, so everyone's packed in there to buy the
beers that right before two am. Right, you know how
it is. It's a weekend. Hey bit Joe, Hey bit Joe.
(16:20):
We're like, ot shit. Before you know what, we're going
back to my house. People are seeing us following us.
I swear to got on my block away right and
I live downtown San Jose. We come into my house
with the beer before you know, as we walk in,
about twelve people follow us to come walking into my
house that's seen us on the streets because the club
has just got out and everything else. My house is
filled with like twelve fift people now because I have
(16:42):
no idea some chicks it is now. And my buddy
Rich is still sitting there with the pillow over his
face and he dude, you want to beer? He just
shakes his head. Yes. All these people in My husband like,
oh wow, this is a crazy trip where these people
come from. Say, oh, I just think we just wrote
it out and had a good time and laugh. But
it was a nugged it out. Yeah, I just stuck
it out, like Okay, they smoke blunt, let's hang out
(17:03):
and drink and who kid, and they probably put a
few bumps down too. But so we were we were
doing a Halloween it was Halloween and and Halloween's my
brother's birthday, and um, you know, we're like, yeah, let's
take some shrooms. You know, we had a limo, so
we didn't have the drive, so we're excited about that.
And they're like, so we had these makeup artists come
(17:24):
to the house so and hook us up first, and
you know, we spent some really good money on on
our makeup. Dude, like we had like really good Oh
I've seen those pictures. Those are the good ones, and
your clowns clowns, so dude, we're all clowned out, dude.
And we started putting on this makeup and then it's like,
are we're gonna eat them? Like yeah, let's let's wait
till we get to the party. You know. It's like,
how about we wait ten minutes before we get the party.
(17:45):
And then it's like, no, let's just take them. Now.
We're halfway there, fifteen twenty minutes out from the party,
and we take them and boom, we're sitting in there.
As soon as we get to the party. Everybody's like, yeah, dude,
you guys look so real, and we're like, yeah, it's cool.
And then all of a sudden, I put my hands
in my pants right and I had these big clown
pants on, and I'm just moving them left and right, left,
(18:05):
all the way around my pants, you know, and someone's like,
what are you doing? And I was in character the
whole time, Like the whole night. I was just like yeah,
like not one time was it eight? What's so Chris
no Blue? Because no one even knew who the freak? Iut?
Was it? Was so good. Pures are amazing. Yeah, they
were like, I don't know who you are, blah blah,
and it was Spalding or whatever, you know, Dr Spaulding.
But I'm just like sitting there and I mean character,
(18:27):
and all these people were like, dude, you got the
best costume here. You guys are badass. All these clowns.
You know, there's four or five of us in clown outfits.
And so now I'm like starting to really starting to
hit me, you know, and I'm just like folding, and
I would just I would literally fold. I would walk
up on people and be like folding, and then I'd
stand up, and then I just played fold over fold.
I just fold over like halfway in half and had
(18:49):
let my hands hang and then I'd stand up and
I look at them and just keep keeping it character,
right least that you would do when you're tripping it
out that where you think we're funny. Oh it was.
It was, dude. It was so hilarious, but out were
you know, we we realized, hey, dude, like we're going hard.
We get to the to the house where we're going
and we start taking off the makeup and it was
so thick and it was just took and I'm looking
(19:10):
at myself as taking it off, yeah, and I'm like,
oh my god, that's not coming off like I thought
the makeup was on me for life. I'm like, it's
oh my god. And I'm looking. I'm like, okay, you're
tripping your onst rooms, you know, because you could talk
to yourself and tell you. But it was just like
whom And I'm pulling it off and it's like coming off,
but it's still there. And I had this bald cap on,
(19:31):
so my head was bald. I'm trying to peel it off.
Nothing's coming off. And finally I get this stuff like
tough for I'm like, okay, it's coming off me and
it's just a poof. It was over, you know, but
it took me, like I probably an hour to get
my makeup off. It felt like an hour. I wish
Craig would share the war story that he shared with
me earlier in the parking lot when you were at
U c l A. Craig, do you feel like being
that vulnerable, the one in the with the bumps? Yes,
(19:56):
oh no, this was a good story of static was
along with this type of vibe right now, I don't
know I can sell. I don't know if it was
as funny as Yeah, you know what, let's break real quick,
Craigs when he was at U c l A. And
when we come back to I start thinking of this
Craig because I'm gonna tie into a story that has
(20:18):
the testing of th HC. How it's just unreliable and
it kind of goes hand in hand with mushrooms. Testing
people from marijuana impairment by measuring t th HC levels
is unreliable, just like with mushrooms and everything else will
be right back after this. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk
(20:50):
one oh one. Now it's time for the Women of
Cannabis Talk one oh one with the Skinny Queen Jane
Alt and play Boy playmate Christine Smith. Hi, Welcome to
the Women of can This Talk one oh one. I'm
Christine Smith and you can follow me on Christine's Fire
and I am Janet. You can follow me at Whoa Whoa.
We can't forget the Skinny Queen. Who do I'm the
(21:12):
Skinny Queen. You can follow me at Skinny Queen Janey
and you are the vib With the Women of Cannabis
Talk one alright, So Janey, I am excited. So remember
how you and I went around for about nine months
meeting all the women in cannabis after we handed out
the awards at Wheat Con. And so I went into
four twenties Central. Have you been there? I want to
(21:34):
be there right now. Okay, we're gonna take the bus there.
I'm going to see them. Yeah, so we're gonna be
taking the bus there. And I went in and they
were telling me about this awesome company. So the whole
company is women. I think it's like all black company
named Loon, right, and he was telling me like all
these awesome things about it, and uh, because you know,
I was telling him how you and I want to
take you know, I jokingly call it our party bus,
(21:56):
but it's like an information bus. So we want to
take the double decker bus us to all these events
and then find dispensaries that carry products like that. So
we went out in a lot of the smaller dispensaries.
You know, our bus is about the same size. They're like, hey,
these brands really need help. We really want to get
the word out. And then so I'm reading this current
article and then guess who's is about the owner of Loon,
(22:17):
the company everyone's been talking about fate, fate, fate. So yeah,
so this is what this article is. And I want
to hear what Natie Lucky has to say. So she
started thinking about Loon three years ago and then launched
it six months later, and she said she was drawn
to the canvas space as a consumer and inspired to
start the brand because she didn't see any brands that
(22:38):
resonated or spoke to me or my pair group. And
I loved and she loves that there's an opportunity to
think differently, solved for new possibilities and problems and it's
still as exciting now is then? Now? How cool is that?
Because like, think about it, Jene, Like, we have this
platform so we can go, you know to a hundred
and what thirty two? D forty two? Where are we
(22:58):
at now? We're in the hundreds six getting up there?
So is this so we can go all over to
a hundred and thirty two listeners and go, hey, here's
this awesome company, call your spenceries, reach out and support
it because we literally have a voice that changes that
can change freaking companies. How cool is that? Think about
(23:19):
like when you were starting out if someone just like
met you or heard about, Hey, skinny weeds really cool,
blah blah blah. And then the host is like, oh
my god, like I'm reading about skinny weed. Here's the platform, Like,
aren't you excited to have a voice like this? It's
a it's nice to have a voice because when you
have something that really truly works, like it would be
different if you had something you're like, well, I don't
(23:40):
know if it works, well, I hope it works. No,
when you have something that you know works, like your
products to Christine, like you go all the way because
there's no other way to but get it out to
the masses. Because sevent of America's overweight. So I have
like this big thing I have to do here, this
mission and listeners. That's how Jane and I met, if
you don't know, so we are both in the same field.
(24:01):
We started out in weight loss because we know that
being obese is one of you know, the biggest problems
for people's health, and that's why they end up having
to take pain pills because the extra weight on their knees.
And she had her pills skinny weed, and then I
had shaped shape and the shape temxctures. So we're like,
oh my god, we're on the same mission to help people.
And then we've teamed up. Ever since, we've been rolling
around hitting dispensaries, sending up women's meetings. Oh and then
(24:25):
speaking of the events. So we just went to the
CBD USA Expo and let's see who from Canvas we got.
Chris came with us, Mark came with us. Oh, I
went to shut Down Pit. You may have been there. Wait,
help me out. What's the name this strip club in Atlanta?
Magic Magic City? Shout out to Magic City. Oh my god, no,
(24:48):
Like those women were so beautiful. So I'm just like
I walked in, I'm just like jaw off the floor,
like marks behind me, we're like making her rain. I
totally got off. I thought, oh that was Christine's I
hadn't I I got you? Why did I bring any Right,
here's the sex I like to get a sex fan.
You get a sex and everybody gets a sex fan.
(25:11):
I'm doing that next time today. You want to do
that and stript love you and I'm just going to
skinny weed and sex fans. We're doing it. Listen, can
you imagine you and I like you get skinny weeds,
you get sex fans. Everybody gets skinny inlaid Wait, look
at my neil. It says sex. I'm selling sex. Listen,
I'm selling I'm selling skinny. I'm not even selling. I'm
promoting people to take care of themselves and so are you.
(25:33):
And everybody wants to have sex sooner or later otherwise. Listen,
we can talk to you and help you out find someone.
It'll happen. Dude, that trage, it was awesome. It was
so cool. So since we're talking about our brands, so
we had two different women that I saw come up
and try our relief. One tried the tincture, wine, tried
the pod or not the pod, sorry, the tincture, and
the cart actually cried because their pain went away instantly,
(25:56):
Like they actually cried. It's so rewarding. That's what I
love so much about you two is you're not really
I mean, obviously we all like to eat and by
pretty things, but you're not really in it for the money.
You're in it for the long haul and the passion
of truly helping people and watch them to be changed
and like doing it together and finding other women in cannabis.
I'll tell you this to like it's for the cause,
(26:16):
because if it was for the money, I would don't ship.
A long time ago, I know, I hear of all
these women like, you know, bearing like millions in their backyard,
and I'm like digging little holes, I'm bearing quarters. I'm
getting there. I'm getting there. Yeah, just kidding. We're actually
for a year all they have to London but and
killing it, crushing it and doing all the same awesome things.
And so what else happened? So I want to go
(26:37):
back to those another. So, since we're talking about boss
women in cannabis, so I have to give a shout
out to Kate Miller. Okay, I love this name basically
for the name and because she's beautiful. And then I
read and she's a really awesome human being. But she's
the CEO of Miss Grass. We should and so I
read this current article in Forbes, and Miss Grass, if
(26:58):
you're hearing and you'd like to come on with Miss
Skinny Queen and Miss Kelly effects, feel free and give
us a call on one eight hundred nine eight. So
I'm going to read a quote from this awesome co
founder of Miss Grass. She says that she first got
involved in the cannabis space in two thousand and eight,
working as a bud tender while attending a university in California. Okay,
(27:21):
I wanted to go to college, right, and then I
got my parents had to get married. Long stupid story,
But how cool would that be to go to college
and work as a fucking bud tender? Like, seriously, listen,
I had to do. I had to go to hair
school and be a bartender and a waitress. And I
know what I drank on the job. I love you.
(27:43):
It was so funny. So I was a bartender. We
had a duels on tap, so if anyone annoyed me, like,
I would give him pictures of the jewels and it's
so funny. But I would actually watch them get drunk,
like you watched you guys get drunk, like and then
it was like placedo effects. But then I kind of
like experiment on people, like I'll just see what for fun?
And then one guy kind of at me and I'm
just like, I'm like, dude, sir, I might gonna have
(28:03):
to cut you off. You're seriously telling me there's no
alcohol in your picture of beer? Like, am I gonna
have to ask you to leave you like no, no,
like snaper confused. I'm like, all right, I'm gonna stop
doing that all right, onto people who aren't assholes and
experiment on people. We are back to you, miss Grass.
So she already experienced the benefits of this plant firsthand,
so she was inspired to share it with others, and
(28:24):
she was so excited to be involved in the industry
that will end inevitably be massive. So I think Callie Effects, Enginette, Enginette,
Callie Effects, and skinny Weed is getting on the road
to being massive. How many states do you think we'll
be in by the end of this year. I'm looking
not even as states. I'm just thinking of like community.
(28:48):
And it's basically as carpet bomb. Carpet bomb the whole
entire United States. And it's about the message in the
movement because we were very ill and we still are
and the number one thing is to get ourselves healthy, healthy,
And you know, skinny weed is that it's helping a
(29:09):
lot of people, and so is shape Fape and Kelly Effects,
and it's you. It's the outreach in the community. So
this is like a massive takeover. I'd like to go global. No,
I love that we're both on the same mission of
getting rid of stigma. Like it's so funny. I think
I talked about this before when I brought shape Fape
to Uh. We're out in Newport Beach, you know, with
all these beautiful osi housewives type women and uh, They're like, oh,
(29:32):
so what did you do? You know, how did you meet?
You know because their friends as a business partner, and
I'm like, oh, we're selling weed together and like you
I'm like, no, but we actually made you know, uh,
you know, medicine from the canvas plant. They're like, oh,
I'm like it makes you lose weight. They're like, oh
my God, give it to me, Give it to me.
And they could not hit that thing quick enough, Like
it was like it was like instant liepo. It's so funny.
So I love that you have a weight loss product.
Also because once people here's something that they really want
(29:54):
to believe that, they're like, all right, screw that stigma
out the window, like it's gonna make me lose weight.
And I loved you that you have it called guinea weed,
because then people have to talk and educate like, oh, well,
is it really made from weed? We'll know what's made
from Humble. What's the different side of Dada And it's
so just the name, you're able to help educate people. Yes,
I'm really excited too because we're expanding into edibles and um,
I'm really excited. Sugar free, yes, they're sugar free, gluten free.
(30:18):
We're doing um granola bars, and we're doing really good
snacks and they're all gonna be um munchy list, so
you don't have munchies or cravings. Good for you and
just helping the movement. And wait, I have a feeling
that granola bars are going to be so good that
you want to keep eating. But their shape bathe in it,
so you can actually just eat one. And why you're
(30:41):
eating your granola bar? That doesn't even matter. I couldn't
smoke your shape bathe and eat a skinny bar. What
if you did that, then you're in like you know
what I mean. It's all about just it's your potion.
There's no rhyme or reason to it. It's what is
best for you. And I promote all of it. I
of all of your stuff to Christine. And it's like
(31:02):
depending on what your what your taste, but is too right?
Some people like to smoke some people like like wellness
and take a pill because then they have to like
write it down a regimen wellness. Somebody might like your tincture.
There's all there. Everything is out there at your fingertips.
And I'm super excited. This summer is going to be great.
You'll be able to see Kelly effects bus driving around,
stopping at all of the dispensaries. And don't forget one
(31:25):
and most important thing with the Skinny Queen. It's the
dimetime all the time. And if you have a little
quarantine on you because everybody's put a little weight, you know,
skinny Weed is there. It's gonna help you. It's skinny
in together and you know you can follow the Skinny Queen.
I got a lot of I'm gonna give a lot
of tricks to give the website. What's the website? Oh

I'm the bud Tender Awards. I just seen you're going
to G four Live, are you? I am? Because I
just watched a new video that G four Live put out.
It's one of the sickest videos that recaps it. They
put it all in it. They need it on that
one September twenty nine to October second at Las Vegas,
(33:25):
Mandalaid Bay. And if you are an exhibitor or an attendee,
make sure you guys get your tickets because this one
is about to go down. So, Craig, before we went
to break right there, I was talking about the testing
for cannabis, which they always say, and you guys, I say,
they always say, you and your brother, especially when you're
gonna court. There's no real way of testing as we've
been talking about. You're talking, we're talking about we're gonna
(33:47):
get to the bumps that we're gonna get to the
bus segment and a second because I just want to
get to one at least other story that we can
get some you know, some real good content out there
of the stories that are out there. But a new
study indicates that th HC levels are not accurate representations
of whether someone is impaired or not. And it's like,
that's just the fact, just exactly, and I don't know
what's improving over and over and over and over. You know,
(34:08):
how you tell if someone's impaired from cannabis, if they're
fucking impaired, how would you tell that? Though, give me
an example, give me more more swerving, can't sit up,
can't talk, But you could swerve though and still not
be impaired if you're someone no, no, no, it's different.
If you're like swerving all over the road and you're
not impaired, you should get the funk off the road.
(34:29):
That's different than you know. Once you're you're driving and
all of a sudden you look left and you oops
and you swerve a little bit. That's one thing. But
if you're swerving all over the road, you're going twenty
in a sixty, you're going sixty in a twenty, you
need to be brought in on you're impaired on something.
And if you're not impaired on something, then you should
just go to jail for being an idiot and endangering
(34:49):
the lives of others. There's no way to improve any
type of th HC level in a person equates to impairment.
There just is not. This study, done with the Bard
of the National Institute of Justice, involved twenty participants, one
being Mark Wasserman. They were okay, maybe not that one,
but there are participants. They were asked to consume cannabis
(35:11):
through edibles are vapes, all with different degrees of th HC. Afterwards,
participants were tested with common film sobriety tests and asked
to complete cognitive tasks. According to the study results, the
amount of exactly thank you. According to the studies results,
the amount of th HC wasn't a reliable indicator when
(35:32):
discussing participants impairments. This is important since it questions many
of the rules and regulations when it comes to cannabis use,
particularly when discussing impairment when driving. These important findings come
as no surprise, said Normal Deputy director Paul Armatano. Which
(35:53):
is always nice when Normal gets involved. But we've been
saying that for years and there's nothing out there that
really does that. And it's gonna be the same with
mushrooms as you're micro dosing. The bottom line facts are this, folks.
If you feel like you shouldn't be driving, don't same
thing if you don't know just but that's the difference
between alcohol and weed. Rarely will you get someone that
(36:14):
I know of. Maybe it's not a percent, but if
you're too high from smoking cannabis, you're not gonna drive.
If you're too drunk, you're gonna go. I again. Drive,
Give me the geese, sucker, give me the gate. I
can drive. If you're too high, you're not gonna drive.
You're gonna go eat something or sit down and relax
until you feel you can. That's my that's my observations
(36:36):
over sixty years. I'd agree with you with that, Craig.
Sometimes there's just a lot of people, though, that don't
understand their bodies and their minds. And they live in
a river that's not only in Africa, but it's called denial,
so our Egypt excuse me, So you live in denial
and you're just living. Here's the thing, man, I used
to client ladders every morning in the Union, back when
(36:59):
I was eighteen years old. I used to smoke every
day before I went to work, and I used to
climb ladders and hang heavy equipment over our head. And
you were fine, and I was fine. Lights up here, please.
But but i'll tell you, I'll tell you what though,
I'll tell you what. I'll tell you. If I was
sober during those times, I feel I would be a
little bit better. Now. There's a lot of people, a
lot of people that cannot operate on that level though,
(37:21):
you know they when when you're eighteen, you were going
smoking on the way to work every day with every day,
yeah everybody, did, you know what I mean? And then
and then at work, you know, at ten o'clock we
go smoke, and then at noon we go back and smoke.
And then at two thirty we'd smoke, and then at
four thirty on the way home, we'd smoke, and if not,
we were on overtime and we'd smoke again. And it
was literally and if we didn't have it, we were
(37:42):
searching for the parking lot to find out who did.
And I'll tell you what I made it through just fine. Now,
there was guys that were I did, and there was
guys that were out there that were drunk though that
same thing. And in the morning they'd show up drunk.
At ten o'clock, they'd be drunk because it's the Union.
And there was just people that did it. And there's
people that did meth, and they did all kinds of
different drugs. But a lot of those guys were drunk,
(38:03):
did take a forklift off the side of this, they up.
A lot of those guys did hurt people out off
the ladder, break their arm and find out different drunk
Now There's also those guys that weren't smoking at the
time they fell off that ladder, but when they got
tested they had they had the THHC in their system,
and guests sucked him. That fucked him, that kicked him
(38:23):
out of the union. They got that. You know, they're
being drunk. Was okay driving your forklift off the side? Yeah, well,
but it wasn't you were like on illicit drug. You
might get in trouble and reprimanded, but you wouldn't lose
your union membership if you were drunk, would you. Well
they would probably give them rehab, right, but if they
(38:44):
found the THHC, then you're fighting. You were gone. You
were gone, and now it's it's actually got worse. So
what happened was when we were back then they used
to cover a lot of it up. You know, if
one of the guys got hurt, or one of the
guys felt, hey, are you drunk? Yeah, okay, co go
go do this, go to the ambiance, blabah blah, come
back six hours ten hours later, and then go test.
You know. But but then it got to a point
where the union stewards were getting a lot of pressure
(39:05):
because the union stewards were involved in two. I mean
when I was young, everybody did it. Then it tightened
up and it got a little It was one day
it was just a whole new group of people came
in and you just knew that they weren't playing, you know,
it was it was all suits. It was like not
the union normal union steward that you've seen. It was
like who are these guys and who are how are they?
And they were running around making examples other people and
so which I think it was better for the for
(39:27):
the industry and the trade show industry and all that stuff.
But overall, what I'm saying is is that there's a
point where, you know, cannabis, you can't compare cannabis and alcohol.
You can't, you know, in my opinion, now can you can?
You can prepare you know, dabbing cannabis like a dab,
if you take a dab, you know which is a
concentrate cannabis, and and you can compare it to a
(39:49):
shot of alcohol, you know, I can. You can't compare
them either because if I take a dab, I'm out
of it. Dude, I'm out of it, but well I
drive probably not. But if I take a shot or
two or three, will I drive? You have liquid courage.
Cannabis puts you into a different state where you like, dude,
I'm if you get to depends what where you're gonna say,
(40:11):
I'm fucked up if you get Some people know. But
when I'm sure, I'm sure it happens. Nothing's on percent.
But I'm sure most people if if you're too high,
if you took too much edibles, you're gonna set the
funk down. Man, You're not gonna get in that car
most likely. So there's like I said, if you take
(40:31):
several shots, liquid courage comes into gear, you're like, I'm good,
I got this. Someone dies, you're idiot. And when cannabis
comes to play, you take a dab. I've done it.
I've taken a dab and I've sat in the car
and been like, yo, dude, I'm sweating, I can't drive,
and I put that car in part. The first time
I ever did dabs I do. I ground myself off
my motorcycle for five hours. I rode my bike down
(40:54):
to my kid's shop back in Newport Beach, back in
the day when he had a shop, and he's like, oh,
there's this new thing called dabbing constant traits, and it
looked like they were smoking fucking crack, right, and and I, yeah,
I'll take a hit or two. Because I took two
big hits. Oh my god, I don't know. Twenty minutes later,
maybe the room spinning. I'm like, how am I gonna
get the funk home? I literally, I literally had to
(41:17):
stay there for almost five hours before I came. You
have to eat and everything that was between divorces. Well,
you know what, Craig, we tease the bump story, and
I just want to go back to it because I
want Blue to hear this funny random It's a quick story.
It's a quick one. I tell the story. So the
funny part is, you know, God rest his soul. George Young, Right,
(41:39):
Our good friend George Young passed away percent chances when
I was at u C l A back then in
early early eighties. It had to have come from him. No,
I didn't go buy it from him, but he he
he distributed and supplied the whole l A area. So
(42:00):
I probably did the stuff that he brought in. So
I'm at a fraternity were in our fraternity room, which
was an old converted department building and we're all sitting
there and I think we just finished some and we
had a bendlet. I forgot a quarter. I mean it
was a quarter of Uh. I forget how we even
measured it back then, but you know, it was a
little It was a snow it was a quarter. It
(42:29):
was a quarter gram. No, the eight balls when I
did it first eight balls were expensive. They were not cheap.
So we get a little quarter. And we had some
guy visit us who said he could he could get
us more right. And as we're sitting there, this little quarter,
little bendel snow uh what's it called snow seal, we
(42:49):
folded up in a little certain ways yep, yep, yep, yep,
and all of a sudden, this this fucking bendel's gone.
And four of us stood up around this guy like
where the funk our coco, where the funk is it?
And it was like it was like death and finally
it had We don't know. We think the guy might
(43:11):
have taken it. And this was a big guy too.
When we when we stood up so low and behold,
it was near the trash can on the floor, like
either either he we think he dropped it because we're
looking around, couldn't find. All of a sudden it was there.
(43:33):
The guy says he's gonna come back with a whole
bunch for us. Next we were gonna sell it and
ship and do all this ship and make some money.
Dreams that you come up with when you're all we're
all looking at each other going, do you know him?
Do you know him? No? Where do you? I don't know.
I thought you, dude. We thought it was for sure
the heat undercovered coming to bust us. And when the
(43:56):
guy came back, it was like lights out. We we
like the the door door. We are done with that story.
Don't call us again. It's even funnier that the story
gets brought up because we're talking about a friend of
ours who is acting like a tweaker lately. And then
we talked about tweaker stories. Yeah that, yeah, I got some.
(44:17):
Next time, bring it up. I got some other good ones,
some real I got a lot of tweaker stories. Don't
get it's my mouth right now. I'm like, oh, you
don't talk about it. Don't drink and drive, stay high
and fly instead of talk. One oh one. Remember this.
If no one else lives you, we do. Thank you
