Speaker 4 (04:25):
You guys, I want to jump right in first off,
the brand, I mean Venice Boys.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Were you guys both born and raised on Venice? I mean,
I love the name. I gotta say it. I think
it's just pretty.

Speaker 8 (04:37):
Much pretty much born and raised in Venice in the
area seventh to sunsets seven twenty to be example.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yeah, yeah, I love I love Venice. I mean it's
an iconic spot for people who come to California. It's
a worldwide known entity for being in movies, the scene
on the Venice Beach boardwalk, everything about that wasn't even
hard to get the name because of having Venice like that,
or was it.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
No, No, my brother came up with the name. My
brother came up with the name, and Venice.

Speaker 8 (05:05):
Well, yeah, you said, it's a world known you know,
so everybody uses it, and why not if we're if
we're from.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
There, why not use it? Who else is using it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
No, one actually had it? No one nice. So you
guys got clothing, cannabis, everything.

Speaker 8 (05:17):
Pretty much everything from the ground up, from seed to retail.
It's it's constantly in the works upgrading, but pretty much
Social equity, yes social who got the actual social And
my brother Hugo he's actually applicant for Social Equity A.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Nice nice So you get popped with that.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
What happened selling weed?

Speaker 9 (05:33):
You know?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
That's that's how long? How long have you guys been
licensed for? Since my birthday? March first birthday?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Good big gif.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
So yeah, it's been interesting because it's it's so different,
it's so diverse, it's so complicated, so simple. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
once you know it, it's like it's not that.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
Hard, right, once you go to the steps. That can
be a little interesting.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
What kind of lines you guys to offer? What are
you guys doing in the in the space.

Speaker 6 (06:03):
Well, basically, we're building our brand, you know, which is
Venice Boys.

Speaker 8 (06:05):
We have some flower we have some pre rolls, We're
gonna come up with some infuse stuff, some babes, and
we're also focusing on, you know, assisting other brands.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
What license do you guys carry?

Speaker 8 (06:14):
We have a micro license C twelve okay, which allows
us for delivery, manufacturing, and distribution.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Are we talking about Venice Boys the brand or Venice
Boys the platform both Oh okay, because Venuzuey's platform, we're
using it as a platform to allow people like this
gentleman's smokes to build and enter the cannabis space. Sure,
so that we're just trying to build it as an
all inclusive platform. We're trying to build it as an
all inclusive platform. That I joined the team about two

(06:43):
years ago. Uh Hugo reached out to me to build
a platform that he described himself like as not gatekeeping
because he knows how the industry is from every step,
it's been a challenge after another, and like I said,
we're just all happy to be here and we want
to extend that to people from similar backgrounds.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Well, Jesse, you come with a real diverse background. I
mean coming in from the you know, business world at
the Marriott International in the IT space, and then you're
the CEO and founder of Golden Forest Collective and also
really started in lost prevention managing teams.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
That's a real cool diverse background right there.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
To come into the cannabis space and bring all those
entities that you're somewhat probably using, especially even the new
IT stuff to incorporate with this company.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
I like to learn, a fan of the Socratic method
of learning, and I like to work with startups, kind
of the whole underdog story, you know, like, and so
when he reached out and mentioned this startup, I'm like, hell, yeah, dude,
this platform is can helped so many people and it
just sounds really fun.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
And how do you guys know each other?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
We met through a Golden Forest collective. It was my
first attempt to get licensed a loan a couple hundred
thousand in and didn't end up licensed to common story
in the industry, right, but the actions I made have
paid off in tenfold up. To be honest, that's great.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
And smokes, how did you find these guys? How did
you guys all get together and start working?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Well?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
I actually met him a while back when I was
focusing on the traditional side of the business tradition.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
That's just me. Hey, that's the correct term.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
And what we've all done that, you know, I mean
you may you may have ran into blue on the streets.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
With or someone I know did it. Yeah, one of
those things. So it's real. And I get the happiest
person you could ever imagine on the phone. Yo, Smoke, smoke, smoke.
I got a license finally. Yeah, I'm like, that's what's up. Congratulations.

Speaker 8 (08:44):
He's like, the first thing I want to do is
bring you on board, and I'm like I questioned it.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I'm like, yeah, hey man, I ran with the opportunity
and I'm down here and so now, yeah, this is
fairly recent, right, Yeah, I mean I because you were
here previously.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
On his birthday was a week after you, guys. Yeah
we so he signed up with us in a week
later you he was on your show.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Shut. Yeah, that's teamwork makes the dream work.

Speaker 8 (09:15):
I mean I was working my stuff up north and
I had a hard time getting around.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah hometown. Yeah, established myself here in a.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yeah, thank you for doing. We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah. Smokes l Ah that's a great name too.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
I mean, smokes l A is just as cool as
it gets in my book, both both of these have
just an iconic Los Angeles Southern California feel.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
When you see smokes l A, it speaks for yourself. Boys,
it speaks for itself. And they are cool names that
everybody likes.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Not only that it goes across the border, white, Asian, black,
It doesn't matter, you know what I'm saying that this
is a big healthy When I think of Venice, I
think of some white boys all the time too, for sure.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I mean that's what for me. Anyways, Hey, they're part
of the crew, you know.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Without them, we don't have Venice.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I mean, yeah, it's everybody. It's a melting pot.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
But when you go, especially when you go there, because
everyone visits, so you'll see the brother on the skateboards
has been in every movie on the roller skates, see
what I'm saying. You see the Mexicans out there, you
see the Asians out there, that everyone's a surfing.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
And everybody else. It's just dope.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Man.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
I really commend you guys on this because it makes
me smile and feel proud.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
Yeah, yeah, that's too. So it's like living a dream.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Thank you guys for building a platform, you.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Know, and this is what's great about it, Like, let's
talk about why people should even support these cool names
and these products that you guys are doing. What is
it that you guys are doing with your product that
you guys think is different from the others.

Speaker 6 (10:49):
Well, we're giving people a chance.

Speaker 8 (10:50):
You know, we're going about things a little different based
on how we do business and how we conduct things.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
Basically educating ourselves and just putting product out. Usually a
lot of the big brands and.

Speaker 8 (11:00):
Big companies, they're already licensed up, they're making money, they're
focused on other things, you know, and a lot of
them they want too much of a pay up up
front to even get involved in the business.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
You know. Well, we're doing a little bit different. We're
working with everyone to make it happen.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Especially in a community. We work with everybody with different backgrounds.
Like I said, when you said all inclusive, he meant it.
So we have to make it work. You have some
an idea, just reach out.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
That's what you mean by the platform, right, because essentially
what you're telling me is that someone could come in
if you guys got the right vibe with them, you're
feeling them, and they have the right hustle. You're willing
to take a shot on them.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
Why not.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
As well as just giving them an opportunity to be
licensed up under your license, yes, yes, right, so that
they could white label their product line.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
Through your yes. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Give them an opportunity to get in the.

Speaker 8 (11:45):
Game, you know.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Yeah, And then having the micro business is what sets
us apart from the rest, because we could offer a
almost fully integrated platform. The only thing we are working
on right now, which we should be done with, is
getting our farm up and running well.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Tell us what that looks like like. If I come in,
I want to get my license, and I want to
not get my license, but I want to be able
to operate under you guys. After this break, it's Cannabis
Talk one on one. We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
Follow du at one Christopher Wright, Follow Joe Grunde at
Joe Grunde fifty two. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter on
our website, Cannabis Talk one on one dot com.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Welcome back to Cannabis Talk.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
One on one World Number one one.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Man, I've got to tell you guys about Chalmers Wellness.
It's a full service rehabilitation and recovery facility. They work
with patients to identify, treat, and manage a wide variety
of issues you guys, including weight loss, are gain, digestive problems,
chronic fatigue, some pain injuries, sciatic diseases, chiropractic problems, vibral myelogia,

(12:55):
carpal tunnel syndrome, and plannifastitis.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
All these are serious things, folks.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
Medical doctors regularly refer patients to doctor Chalmers when traditional
medications and treatments.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Are not working for their patients.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
So if this fits into your category or somebody you know,
have them check out our dude over there at Chalmerswellness
dot com or call them direct two one.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Four four four six five three zero zero.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Now Blue asked a great question before we went to
break you guys, what is this process? Because I really
like that vettis boys as giving a back to the
communities out there and guys like smokes La that's been
in the game forever doing his thing, and now you
guys give them a platform right away. Shouts out to you, Hugo,
your big brother forgetting making that happen.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
So give us that breakdown in that process, all right.
Pretty much with the whole avenue of getting license Badavian Opportunity.

Speaker 9 (13:47):
Teams to become more involved with the industry, to take
a power into my own hands.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Pretty much as far as Friends.

Speaker 10 (13:55):
Design had all the tools, all the options, all the
resources they.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Actually extended there, but they opened up your door and
they opened the horizons.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Sure so, so does that I mean, does it look
like I mean, obviously, do you have to build your
own brand? Right? So, you come up with your own logos, right,
you guys allow them.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
To come so go ahead. It depends on what stage
you are. If you're barely like coming up with an
idea and you come up to us and we'll tell you.
You know, you have to form your LLCs, you have
to have your trademarks, you have to have your locals designs.
If you don't have that, we try and work with
like local designers and kind of send them work because
like again, we're trying to build a community here.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
So the business development Kit, yes basically.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Right, yes, so we walk them through how to onboard.
Like you know, you got to sign your contract, make
sure that we all have our understanding of what your
liability is, what your job is like in form of marketing,
because all we do is build a platform. It still
takes a lot of work, sure.

Speaker 7 (14:53):
You know.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah, And so you know, someone like smokes La comes
up with this product line, develops it, gets it all running.
You guys own it or does he No, that's his brand.

Speaker 6 (15:02):
It's it's his brand, So you.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Just help them distribute it.

Speaker 8 (15:05):
We distributed and manufactured, and we assist in certain to
get them a certain store and certain delivery.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Once the sales come in.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
We also do marketing.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
We also do make and you do marketing as well,
so you help them do marketing and then you help
them sell it to the store as well.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Yeah. And then we also have the retail non storefront
for delivery. So also put them on a platform so
they could market straight to consumers.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
We have a delivery service, yes, yeah, oh fantastic, we do,
and that we get to deliver straight to your house. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
That way they could build their own community and they
could build it on their own platform, their website. What
they want, you just have to use like our link
or powered by Venice Boys.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Nice man. And then and then so how long have
you guys been in businesses in March whatever? But how
long did you come on? You came on the same
week or I mean I got the call a week
two days after his birthday? Yeah yeah, yeah. And then
and then so and so now are you intrers already
or are you still developing your product or I'm fully

(16:03):
integrated into stores, I'm on the website, I'm on the platform.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
You think, no way?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
And I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Man.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
That's given back to the community right there.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
Definitely it does does it helps us all.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yeah, well, I mean and listen, you know, one of
the most successful models I've seen is from a company
called Gelato, right, and Gelatto has like I'd say, oh man,
there they are right there, boom. These guys have I mean,
I don't know one hundred and fifty different SKUs, you know,
different lines, you know, and and you know they're managing
them all. But the key to it is is that

(16:38):
you know there's all different product lines. Yes, and so
when you go to a store, you don't just you're
not just the one stop shop. You don't only have
your brand, you know, which is very intelligent for you
guys to do, because now you have more to offer them. Yes,
that's what they want, right, So it helps everybody, helps you.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
Everyone to eat.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
And then and then what does that look like as
far as like you know, you guys say, okay, cost
us is to pick up the cannabis and then we
turn around and sell it. We split the profits or
how do how does it work around sixty Yeah?

Speaker 5 (17:10):
We uh going wait for us to average is twelve.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
And a half okay, so you're just basically building it.
You make twelve and a half percent on the whole
cell on the wholesale, yeah, costs and then whatever the
retail that doesn't matter to you guys right.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Now, Well, we try and if you sign up with
us as a social equity person, we work with you
and give you some of the retail percentage to make
up for the twelve and a half you gave us
on wholesale.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
I figure it also incentivizes the branch to pull towards
our platform.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Sure and smokes, what products are you putting out at
the moment? I got pretty different products?

Speaker 9 (17:47):
Okay, pre rolls when we're working extracts okay, okay. And
those farmers, what's up man? How you guys doing. What's
you guys get? Yeah, tell us about what you guys do.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
And obviously as musicians, what what what are you guys
doing in the industry right now? What was that?

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Could hear you?

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I'm saying? Are you guys doing anything in the cannabis industry?
I mean, yeah, we we just started this. We're really
presenting this collab we have.

Speaker 11 (18:13):
With This is the first time we had so far.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 11 (18:21):
Uh putting it together.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
You guys are so you brought them in and then
you're going to help them distributed through Los Angeles.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
We got them licensed al ready. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
See so Los Farmers has a pretty great platform, like
we all know, So we wanted to give them, like
we said, our community, an ability to monetize that platform
for themselves. And they're already in cannabis. They make great music.
So they were like one in one.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Aren't they? They're cannabis, I mean essentially cannabis. You know,
uh music group, Right, they talk about a lot of.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
It's part of the culture. Yeah, what they talk and sing.

Speaker 10 (18:55):
About our music, our music is most of a lot
of our music talks about the.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, cannabis, just in general, everything be in detail, you
know what I'm saying? What are we what else are
we talking about? Man, we're talking about cocaine, my shrooms,
everything back back. Yeah. Then where do you guys? Where
do you guys come from?

Speaker 11 (19:19):
South Paris?

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Nice? And then and how long you get Did you
guys have any hit hit records right now?

Speaker 11 (19:26):
Well?

Speaker 10 (19:26):
We do, Yeah, we do have someone that are getting us,
getting us out there.

Speaker 11 (19:31):
Uh pretty good.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, and we do have a couple of Yeah, what's
the what's the hottest song you guys got right now?

Speaker 11 (19:37):
Say? What?

Speaker 6 (19:39):
Who?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Who?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:41):
How's it going? Like, uh huh, yeah, okay, that's the
that's the newest one. And it's all in Spanish or
little little English too nice. Are you guys touring or
doing you know, shows and stuff? Where can where can
people find you guys?

Speaker 6 (19:55):
At?

Speaker 5 (19:56):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (19:57):
Well, have you guys follow us on Instagram and our
those farmers what to Sea At the end, you guys
will see all our dates that we have coming out
and stuff. But we're pretty much right now, all in USA.
We just got back from Washington last night. We're Washington
and Oregon.

Speaker 11 (20:14):
This weekend we're going to.

Speaker 10 (20:16):
Selhmar in Vegas and our hometown in Paris.

Speaker 11 (20:19):
We haven't been in a hometown since we started our career. Yeah,
so we're pretty excited about that.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
You guys are originally from Paris, so we lived there, Yeah,
but not from Paris. No, where's you? Where's home? Originally Mexico?
All of you?

Speaker 11 (20:32):
Another guy got it wrong earlier.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
He said, yeah, yeah, natives of Mitch Mitch Khan. Okay,
and then so you live in Paris, so now all
of you guys? And then so how long he has
been in California?

Speaker 11 (20:49):
Different? Different, I've been like twenty years past staff.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
Here and.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Even years, eleven years, six years, six years.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
I'm born and raised, but my parents are from the
same place where you're.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
All from the same place. And then you guys just
happened to meet each other and all that, you guys
who met each other in Paris? Yeah wow yeah yeah?
And what what what what? What? What does each one
of you do in the group?

Speaker 11 (21:18):
According and first first boys.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Okay, first boys, second voice and drums okay, okay, So
you're the you're the singer. Yeah, you're the main singer.
You have the second singer, do you guys, what do
you mean first voice together? Yeah? What his first voice mean?
What is that? It's like it's like a song or voice?

Speaker 6 (21:38):
Strong?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Okay, stronger voice? Yeah, a duel. Yeah. So you guys
singing back and forth? Yeah, we sing together? And what
do they call the music you guys do? Toritos? Yeah? Yes, yeah,
I heard. I heard people talk about Coridos. I've heard
it growing up. You know it's caaster ship yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

(22:00):
that's that's what's ups. And then uh and then so
you know, with that being said, you know, do you
see this going into you know, your own country and
you know where you guys come from. You know, are
you guys getting a big following there or that's where
you guys are. Your people have already picked it up,
and now it's spreading throughout the US. Congratulations, man, that's awesome.

(22:22):
And then now you guys are bringing back cannabis as well,
because it makes sense. It's legal trapping, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 6 (22:28):
Yeah, legal as a trap?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah. Can I get a keylot after the show? You know? Now, listen,
I'd like to to play one of your songs, you know,

I mean, are you guys locked and booked on a tour?

Speaker 9 (25:39):
No? You know what?

Speaker 11 (25:40):
Record label has has been keeping us pretty busy lately.

Speaker 10 (25:44):
And that's good though. It was working on and uh
before we started to show, we should have started out.
We appreciate you guys helping us out with with this.
This is my idea this yeah understand, and the boys
helping us out taking it to the next level.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, you should be thinking me they paid me, not man.
You guys are cool.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Man.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I appreciate it too. It's good for you know, all
of our people. I'm Puerto Rican, but you know, Hispanics
all across the world, you know what I mean, to
get a footprint in this industry. And you know it's
important that that just everybody has the mouthpiece and and
you guys, adding music to that is going to allow
your brand to get, you know, even more exposure. Helping
your guys you know here in Los Angeles, which is

(26:34):
it just makes it a full circle man. So you know,
you guys should be very proud of all of each
other and and and you know, honestly work your asses
off to make it the biggest brand in the country,
you know what I mean, because that's it's on you.
You know, it's it's up to every one of us
to do that. And we've you know, we've been out
here seeing a lot of people create their brands that
has a whole ton of money behind it. But you

(26:55):
know sometimes you know, money can't beat the hustle, you.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Like so yeah, or they're love yeah yeah, And so
it's important, you know, to be working. And uh, so
your next show is in Paris, in your hometown.

Speaker 11 (27:06):
Yeah, actually the first next one is Selmar Friday, the
first and the second day is Vegas. Yeah, and then
Sunday it'll be Paris.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
You guys got a tour bus and just going for
it usual sprinter vans. Yeah, depends depending on where how
far it is. And then and and uh, what's the
record label?

Speaker 4 (27:30):
Media?

Speaker 2 (27:30):
And do you guys have other bands and groups on
there as well?

Speaker 11 (27:33):
They're torn with Yeah, they're a pretty big record label.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
How do you guys hook up with the label?

Speaker 11 (27:38):
They found us out from YouTube that they are and
then they up.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Yeah, appreciate the talent.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah, that's awesome man. So so you know what does
this look like for Venice Boys? I mean, you know,
to help them roll out the product? You know, what
what is it that you guys, you know, would do
you know, see, they've already got a huge mouthpiece, right,
so you know, are you guys doing meat greeds? Are
you guys creating like you know, show.

Speaker 8 (28:02):
Up, everything under the sun and everything you can think of.
It has to do with contact. Yeah, human to human
you know.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Yeah, we're doing uh events, We're doing a grand opening,
working on a location right now and where they're definitely
going to be there. Their brands are going to be there,
working with the other brands to get all the line.
Like I said, we're trying to build a community, so
we're trying to keep everyone together and show together.

Speaker 13 (28:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Sure. And then what's your guys' hottest brand and and
and in product line that you guys carry right now?

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Venice Boys.

Speaker 6 (28:28):
Well, we're gonna say it' Venice Boys because it's our brand.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Is it a certain flower? Like is it you know
this nice jar right here? Of what is this the
Hollywood o g pre.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Rolls, the definitely, the young Bob, the yes guy.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
That's a good right, the you that's my brother hugo.

Speaker 6 (28:47):
Yeah, those are all his characters. Those are all like
his story.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
You know, does he does he does he draw to
or something to be his character?

Speaker 5 (28:53):
He gets down on a computer.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Yeah, it's an artist. Hi, Nice dude, Nice dude. These
are like what do they call those things? The great bageyeh?
The NFTs and you make them n f T s
as well.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Yeah, some of them, yeah, some of them were made different,
but some of them are just logos just interesting.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, those are double logos.

Speaker 6 (29:12):
Man, it's trendy. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
And then so is it is it? Is it typically
premium flower? Are you guys it's all indoor premium flower? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (29:18):
Yeah. Then we have another brand that's going to be
like outdoor sun grown.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Sure. And then how many stores are you guys currently in?

Speaker 5 (29:27):
Nine?

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Nine stores?

Speaker 5 (29:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Okay? And then are you guys and you guys are
you know, infants in the industry, I mean in the industry,
but in the license and the licensing.

Speaker 5 (29:35):
And we appreciate all the stores, all the license holders
that have given us a shot, and like.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
Shout out to everyone out there that's been helping us
out a lot too. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
And then how are you guys who was that was that?

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Yeah yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:47):
And then what does that look like? I mean as
far as how are you guys, you know, attacking that market,
like you guys just contacting them, showing up on them.
What are you guys doing?

Speaker 8 (29:54):
Yeah, little hard work, everything everything whatever it takes, emails,
cold calls, hey, so and so, communicate with them send
an email.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
Let's reach out here, let's reach out there.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah. Where facility four.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Zer one East eleventh Street, Downtown l A.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Oh no way, nice dude. And then so you guys
had did you guys buy that building? Leased it? How
that works?

Speaker 6 (30:12):
No, we leased it.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
You know, we found a good place that was that
fit for that in the heart of downtown l A.

Speaker 6 (30:17):
Yeah, in the heart of Santilli.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Yeah, the community right there in Santilly. No way. And
and but you can have a retail store there.

Speaker 8 (30:27):
No, no, no, that's actually just manufacturing distribution is welcome
to l A. We can have one outside.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Yeah, well you could have.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
A you have a canopy and delivered to it.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah, that's exactly what many. Yeah, and that's working now.
You just say, hey, order from right here.

Speaker 14 (30:42):
Well, if you have somebody that's that's there providing and
they have a menu and they have a yea for
them to order, yeah, that's like that's legal and the
guy just happens to be around the corner.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Yeah, it shows up, the delivery stays down in five
three minutes.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yeah, that's also. Is that working out for you guys?
It has been. Yeah, that's awesome, dude. So now you
got your regular customers are starting to blow up.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Yeah, definitely, definitely. The psychographics for the customers are so interesting,
like who buys, what, the ages, every every bit of information.
It's all exciting.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, and you know we used to do something like that,
but buy a T shirt and it comes with the
gram or whatever and eighth or well.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
You've got to incentivize people, you know, not everybody has
a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
You know, everybody likes free stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yea, everybody, I want to get one free. That's cool man.
And so have you guys experienced you know, like what
was the hardest learning curve for you guys in the
in the cannabis space right now? Like what has been
like that? It was it metric? Learning how to use metrics?

Speaker 5 (31:42):
Was it?

Speaker 2 (31:43):
You know? Was it learning how to you know, source
out your cannabis? What was the hardest part?

Speaker 8 (31:48):
It was a little bit of everything. Metric is pretty deep,
and then you got leafing and then you have metals
and all of them interact and work with each other.
Then you have on what is the one for the
delivery that we have.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
We work with a lot of different vents, so like
learning every vendors, application learning, how it'll integrates with metric
to stay legal. Uh if the best way to explain
it to you is like it's like playing the game
on expert mode coming from the traditional marketer. Listen, because
now you have every rule. You know, you cannot play
around and you want to get the best product out there.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
You know, I'll tell you. You know a lot of
people take it for granted. But uh, hold on one second,
let me make that go. You know, people take it
for granted, but it's it's difficult, man. I mean, it's
not an easy you know, an easy route no matter
what you do, you know what I mean. So you know,
you you've got to do just basically, you know, work

(32:40):
through every different challenge. And you know, if you don't
have there's no roadmap to it, No, there is just
got to like here boom, learn it, you know. And
so I understand that challenge.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
You know that that's it's a lot of it's a
lot of hours, it's a lot of reading, it's a
lot of like changing your mindset.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
It's a lot of learning curves.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Yeah. And did they like they license your facility though, yes,
we were fully licensed in the facility. And then and
then so basically, and then you guys had to get
like licensed delivery cars or vehicles or whatever.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
We have a few of them. Yes, we had a
bit of everything for scratch. We all of us pitch
in and we all just make it work.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Everything everything that you have to do.

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Man.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Congratulations on that. So what's something next for you guys?
What you guys and what's your what's your plan other
than uh, you know, world domination?

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Uh, keep building the community, keep helping people like farmers
and all of them to build their platform and keep
the money for themselves.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Yeah, you know, I mean ship. I mean just go
through the whole label and just bring the whole label.

Speaker 6 (33:34):
Over right, that would be amazing. At some point, you.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Give them a commission off of everybody they bring.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
On everybody here you go here managing.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
I get a little commission on that for coming with
the idea. You know, everyone makes a little money, man.
Yeah what was he saying? What say you just make
a little bit? You know what I'm saying? Everybody, So listen, guys,
you know, congratulations on it, man. And you know, if

(34:03):
there's we want to continue helping you guys for sure,
if there's anything we can do, you know, from our end,
We'd love to help you guys with it. Man, is
there anything that we forgot that you guys want to
bring up, whether it's lost farmers, yourselles mos or or
you know venice boys. Oh.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
I just wanted to remind that everyone that kind of
has talked one on one was also going to be
there for our grand opening.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
When is that?

Speaker 5 (34:24):
We'll send you the date?

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Okay, yeah, let's go. Do we are we getting paid
for that?

Speaker 5 (34:29):
You help social equities?

Speaker 6 (34:30):
Man?

Speaker 2 (34:31):
I do, Man I do, and I the charity begins
at home. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
Appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
No, you know it's funny. I've actually had an opportunity to,
you know, help out with some of the members at
the Social Equity for the city. You know, I've been
worked with, you know, many of the different social equity
applicants in the beginning, I tried to get more involved
in it, and you know, it started to get weird because,
as you guys know, the social equity applicant has to

(34:58):
have at least fifty one percent yes, you know, and
then you got investors that are looking to come into
the space. They don't necessarily want to put up that
cash and not own it and not be in control
of it, which is understandable. But it's just like, but
it's social and it's not the way it happened.

Speaker 5 (35:13):
So the average offer usually comes that like they want.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Ninety eight yeah, no, average off ninety eight percent. Yeah,
and they just want and then give you a rent
or something or a certain fee every month.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
That's why we want to build a platform or not
to knock down so much gatekeepent.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Yeah that's crazy man. Yeah. And what happened to your brother?
Why did he show up?

Speaker 5 (35:34):
He's working, he's just basically in the office.

Speaker 8 (35:37):
Yeah, yeah, he's constantly on the computer, PaperWorks contracts, young
younger he's my younger brother.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Nice man, he's my second youngest brother. I'm the oldest.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
And you're you're also all from Venice, you and your brothers,
Yeah all Venice. Yeah that's awesome man. So again, anything
else so that you guys might want to say before
we let you guys get out of here.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Thank you for having us, Yeah, thank you so much
having us guys.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Smoke, thank you? Yeah, all right, guys looking out for
the farmers parties home coming up? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (36:05):
