Absolutely in lieu of the finals, the NBA Finals, out
of the NBA story.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
As we're recording the show, there's four teams left right now, boy,
Lakers in Denver and Miami and Celtics. Do you guys
realize that this is the same four teams that were
on the bubble happened off?

Speaker 7 (01:26):
No fans were there, no nothing, And guess who won that?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
All you have here, your boys, And I already told
you guys, dude, this is it's the Laker time, baby.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
It's Lake show. Now.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
You know after that trade, man, they got some Lebron,
some talent around him, you see Lebron, and then they.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
Won the They beat the Warriors without Lebron scoring any
points until like the third fourth quarter.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
So anyhow, we don't get that's not sports talk yet,
but well you can't just talking one who went sports
talk coming soon? Go ahead, Daniel, Sorry, so maybe it
is force talk.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
According to Forbes magazine, the NBA has reached the deal
with the National Basketball Players Association for the next season
being twenty twenty three twenty twenty four, and it includes
a clause of removing THC and CBD from the league's
drug testing program. Also, the players will not be penalized
for being high. Now, previously, the policies against cannabis, Yes,

(02:23):
I agree, I agree. So previously the policies against cannabis
included entering the players to a treatment and counseling program
for the first violation, and then after the first violation
they were fined twenty five thousand dollars and sent to
the program, and for the third violation they got suspended

(02:45):
and fined and sent to the Do.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
You guys remember hey or this is the NBA. Yeah,
do you guys remember the first players that were like hit.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
With this back in the days?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
What's his name is one of them that's always around.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
Excuse me, lamar odom Smith.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
The big the guy that's always with us. He's always
hanging out with us for you get his name right now,
so I can't believe it. There's so many you know,
he's a he's a ballplayer, he's he was here just
the other day.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
You just saw him in Arizona. Mean you interviewed him
in Arizona.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
Anty football player.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Yeah, it's football.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
We're talking basketball, I know, but I'm just used to
remember the ball players when they first oh I'm talking basketball.
They all do, but I'm just saying specifically basketball right now,
and then you think about it right now. I mean
I felt bad when I mentioned l O lamar Odom.
I mean, the guy got busted and got a fine,
and it was right after his son passed away to

(03:40):
tragic accident.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
You're like, you're.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Gonna give this guy a fucking fine after his son
just stuffered.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
Like dude, can't you smoke a joint? Guy? Even, like
give me a break. No, there was like a part.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Of me I'm during that time when he got hit
with one. I was just so disappointed in the NBA
for like, well, I think.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Well, the thing is they tell you once in bands,
you know, and and it's you know, it's funny because
I think that you know, if you you had your
son died, and then you know they're they're telling you, hey, in.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Thirty days your tam jazz. You're like, yeah, fuck that,
you know what I'm saying. Don't like it was ship
at one point?

Speaker 7 (04:12):
You know, you're nothing matters. Yeah, you're like, dude, like.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Even, I mean, come on, you know, okay, you're gonna
hit me for that in twenty five grand done.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I take it.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
You know, personally, i'd be applauding the NBA right now
and other organizations such as you know, the Big Three,
shout out the tattoo, shout out the ice cube.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
The Major League Baseball Hockey.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
They're they're taking a stand against opioids in sports and
allowing players to use cannabis, whether CB, DTC, whatever it is.
But the real question is when are we going to
see endorsements, major partnerships with corporations like I don't know,
ESPN cannabis. When are we gonna start seeing this stuff?
What do you guys think?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You know a good question, And I'll be honest with you,
that is what you know. I feel like we're trying
to do right. We're trying to bridge those gaps normally,
normalize it, make it.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Make it.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
You know, something that is is as simple as you know,
you see Budweiser at the NFL at the you know games.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Why can't you see you know, you know, whatever brand
it is.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
You know, you go to any stadium, you see cruise light,
you see.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
This pre roll, you know what I mean? Like, why
can't it be? Why shouldn't it be?

Speaker 7 (05:21):
You know? You know, well why is?

Speaker 5 (05:23):
There's one answer to the why, right, and that's federal legalization. Yeah,
that's the one answer. And we all know that it's
not the elephant in the front room. It's the elephant
in the front room that has the answer. Right, there's
the elephant.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
What is it?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
It's called federal legal federalization.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Right.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
So once that happens, then I believe the domino effect
will happen for the NBA, NHL, and and everybody else,
NFL and everywhere, because now we've already seen as you did,
shout out and of course I s Q for really
making that decision having the Big Three allow a CBD brand.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
To be a sponsor of the Big One.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
They don't test for cannabis either, Yeah, they don't test
cannon and they use the CBD as one of the
things and I believe they're having like CBD in the
locker rooms now for them. The crazy thing about this
I just found this out yesterday as I touch with
tech yesterday. The finals for the WNBA is going to
be the championship game. It's going to be in London
because they have so many international players on the w

(06:18):
on the Big Three that they're actually taking it to London.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
I was like, damn, dog, let means you're going to London?

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Is the Big Threes making some noises? The professional you
know sport right there. I just find it to be
crazy as we see all these sports and athletes.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
Once again, when you look at.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
That previous podcast we did and heard seventy five percent
of deaths are caused by opioids, but these teams and
these doctors and these pharmaceutical everything have no problem giving
it to them. And and to top it off, the
highest percentage of white males is opioids. The more white

(06:57):
males die from opioid abuse than anything else. So if
you're a white man taking opioids, be very cautious. If
you number one killer form one.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Killer for white men, you know, con I promise, yeah,
you know it's you know, I think that there's a
there's a there's a such a big understanding of why
there's so much opioids, right, And I think you have
to you have to look at why. And it's because
are the people we've trusted the most, you know, the

(07:32):
pharmaceutical companies, and we we have trusted our doctors the
most to prescribe to us what it will help us
with the pain, what will help us with the stress,
what will help us with the fear, the anxiety, these things,
and what has been offered to us has been opioids,
and has been viking ins, and it's been oxy coton,

(07:54):
it's been you know.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
And they work. I'm not gonna say they don't work.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
It's just like anything else with when you abuse it,
it abuses.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
You forget abusing it.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
They're highly addictive, So let's not talk about like do
they work. Yeah, they do, and they do say this
could be highly addictive, and it can be. And I've
taken opioids before, like I've taking a vic it in before,
I've never taken arsi coda. I said, I took a
half one once and I was on the ground throwing up,
and I was like.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
This is ridiculous. You know, and Vico.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
It makes me feel like shit to just last year,
you guys, I was on so many opioids because of
my ankle surgery. They gave me an overdose kid. Yeah yeah,
and there so many opioids and I stopped taking him,
going oh, I can't take it. That's when I started
using all cannabis products. It's the first time I was
sitting there in justing THC and like, I gave it
up for my sobriety, going I'm gonna use more.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
No, I've said it before.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
It was the Ivan saying it like you know, I mean,
like you know, but I don't.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
There's hasn't been a time where I can say it
so much. But you know what I mean, Well, yeah, no,
there hasn't been good the time where I say it.
I mean, I'll say it. I tell people. I even
tell guys I sponsored work with Going Dude, like in
the program.

Speaker 7 (08:58):
I tell guys, I went.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
On surgery and I chose to use more THC products
that I ingested. I didn't smoke a joints, but I ingested.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
I drank it.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
I remember Mark bringing me some liquid d C and
I never.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Felt high high.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
I just felt this little cushion in my head when
he once. But like I never felt the old like
I used to feel like when I used to get sound,
you know what I mean. I never felt in that way.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
But I agree with you, man, So I think sometimes
when you're in that much pain, you don't have a choice.
You take that and it's gonna take you through a
you know, a road that you don't want to go down.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
So you gotta be be careful, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
But I think, Dana, there may be an alternative, and
that may be high doses of cannabis, and it may
be introduced to people.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
And and that road you go down, you know, may
not be fun either.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
But it may be a little bit more saying sober
and can safer doing.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
What you're saying blue.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Higher dose of THC, lower dose of opioid.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
You know, I want to hear what people out there
want to you know, there're the process.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
We'll give us a call one hundred four twenty nineteen eighty.
It's Cannabis Talk one on one. We'll be right back
after this very.

Welcome back to Cannabis talk one on one.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
What time is it?

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Folks?

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Right?

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Dig higher with Dime Industries. Find them in California, Arizona,
and Oklahoma. Check out the website Dime Industries dot com
or on ig Dime dot industries. You know what, I
gotta give it up for Dime because I'm not gonna
say the different company that I was around, but the
company got upset with me because I had a Dime
hat on and one of the representatives was.

Speaker 7 (10:43):
Like, why are you wearing the un hat? Joe?

Speaker 5 (10:45):
I go, look, how dope their gear is. What do
you mean Why am I wearing it like this hat
that they gave me a seven patches? It's so sick
like you'd wear this hat?

Speaker 7 (10:54):
And they go and the owner of the company country,
he goes, you know.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Right, I would, actually, And that's the one thing I
need do like Dime does to step my.

Speaker 7 (11:01):
Merch game up. Yeah, Dime is on point with everything
that they do.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
And matter of fact, Connor, you were just at a
dispensary and you said Dime.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Had a dope display at the jade room. Oc I
had it all set up with their cards, some big
logos and they had their product and the glass kids
It was good and.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
I use a lot of their product.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Like I said earlier, when I was went through my
ankle surgery, those pins were just I was sucking them
down me too.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
That's got that taste really be tasting like some classic og.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Oh yeah, that all being said, you guys Connor and
Daniel are hanging out with Blue and Eye and Connor,
I think you got a little story for us too.

Speaker 7 (11:38):
I do.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
It's a sad day in the cannabis community as there
was a farm in Trinity County that was raided despite
the farm possessing a DCC license and during the raid,
so it's.

Speaker 7 (11:50):
A legal farm.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
It's a legal farm, and obviously they didn't like The
cops were aware that it was a legal farm. And
obviously there's different kinds of licenses that you can register
with the DCC, and just because you have a license
doesn't mean it's necessarily a legal operation that you have
going on. But you would think that a farm with
a license through the DCC would get treated with some respects.

Speaker 7 (12:14):
You know what happened.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
So they went in there and they seized plants and
the owner's dog was shot. Even though it was tied
up on a chain.

Speaker 7 (12:24):
I heard about that hold on a thing, which.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Is awful, awful, awful, And you know it was tied
on a chain and the.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
Dog beard brothers. That's where I've seen it. Beer bull shot.
Look at this, Look at this. Keep you on the story.
So this is coming up to the gate. See the
dog on a chain there and they come inside the gate.
I've seen this. They come inside the gate.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
This place is a fully legal spot.

Speaker 7 (12:49):
And they just ride away.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
The dog just comes that one guy, but he's on
a chain and the and the sheriff shoots him.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Yeah, and you can see the dog, you know, limp
in try to go to its owner for help and
the the owner couldn't do anything because the rest of
the the officers were surrounding him. And yet you know,
he had to comply with everything. So watch the Yeah,
dogs on.

Speaker 7 (13:09):
A chain though, That's what I mean. What kind of
bullshit is that?

Speaker 4 (13:13):
So you know, what does what does this imply with
the you know, the cannabis community, And like how many
other raids like this have happened that haven't been caught
on camera? You know, like it kind of sets a
precedent for for raids like that of you know, they're
they're going and that.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
That cops and to be in trouble. I I you know,
I'll tell you what. I don't know how how much
further that that chain was gonna go is gonna be
his is gonna be his defense?

Speaker 7 (13:38):
Right? And it was his dog gonna bite me?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
It did lunch it. It looked like it was coming
right at him. However, you know, and I don't know
a protocol there. I'm sure they're gonna be just flying
from it.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Unfortunately they play because I know they have a new
law that says like when police are in any kind
of you know, active duty, and something like this happens,
they're exempt from any kind of fault.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
But what is the act?

Speaker 5 (14:02):
But I mean I hear that, and and don't get
it twisted.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
I'm all for cops.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
I love cops, the good ones, the bad ones, and
ones like this guy that shot the fucking dog that.

Speaker 7 (14:11):
You walk in and see on a thing, how about
you walk to the right.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
As I've watched the video, you could have went to
the right went the chain looked like.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
It was almost to the end of the chank.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
It's funny because the guy the other guy walked right
by it.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
And he walked to the right more and walked fine,
and it was fine. There was a guy in front
of him before he shot at him. Yeah, and better yet,
how about this, Hey, can you tie your dog up tighter.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
On that chain link that you have him on? Yeah?
Before I shoot him? Warm me? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Yeah, yeah, you know what.

Speaker 7 (14:39):
I mean, Warm me like I have Teddy right here.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
If my dog's doing something to you that you think
and I always tell you always a puppy, he comes
at people.

Speaker 7 (14:46):
But if you struck him, I'd be like, what.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
The I would go crazy, absolutely honest. Any owner should
you know? And I was reading through the comments of
the post. Jungle Boys had posted a the snippet of
the video and kind of gave context explo And I
was looking through the comments, and you know, there were
a couple of people saying that similar things had happened
to them, but the cops always had let them secure

(15:08):
their dog, like you know, get it on a chain
and have it be okay, and then they proceeded with
their conversation. So it seemed like this was not part
of policy of what they were doing.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Yeah, I mean, listen, shooting someone's dogs. They shouldn't there,
you know, child child, I mean especially here in the US.
I mean, i mean someone made a joke through the day.
So we treat our pets better here than we do
our rote people.

Speaker 7 (15:30):
I mean sometimes some people do you know.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
I mean it's it's it's it's crazy right with personality
like that, how can you not love?

Speaker 5 (15:37):
I mean, we have our dog right here on the
show set that's just setting right in front of us.

Speaker 7 (15:41):
I mean, he just laying out, falling asleep right now.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Is just and we all it's just heartbreaking because so
what county was that?

Speaker 4 (15:48):
This was in Trinity County up near where it all
goes down.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Yeah, yeah, I mean Mecca, did they did they say
in the article?

Speaker 3 (15:56):
You know, and where did you get the article from?

Speaker 4 (15:59):
So it was post did all over social media. I've
found it through Jungle Boys Instagram page, and you know
they're pretty much breaking it down that this was, you know,
on a licensed farm and that they probably passed hundreds
of unlicensed farms on the way up to that raid.

(16:20):
You know, so it's like, what.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
You know, was there anything that they that they came
up with and said, hey, they had guns on the property.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Let me read what I just found right now too.
On I got fun with a very credible.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
Dat Beard Brothers, Beard Bros.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
Farms on ig and you know the Beard Brothers.

Speaker 7 (16:41):
I love those dudes.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
And they say sensitive graphic content warning if if there
are no longer felonies for cannabis cultivations here in California,
So let's just start there, right, Wow, let's just start
right there. The first thing that they wrote, there's no
longer felonies for cannabis cultivation, so you should have fucking dog.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
This ain't even a felly to stop. Yeah, ay, going
on here. That's why I'm asking though, because let me
continue reading.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
The reason I'm asking that like those days is because
in my mind, I feel like, if they came in
now much force, there might be something that we haven't
read yet that you know, hey they.

Speaker 7 (17:16):
You know, because usually you hear that, but but.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
You know, and I'm like, okay, and that's why I'm
always at the propaganda.

Speaker 7 (17:22):
But I I you're you're hoping for the cops. If
that's the case, well I'm not even home for them.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I'm saying, I can't believe if there's not you know,
And even that doesn't give it enough justice, tell the
dog up, give me, tell me to lock my dog up,
and then we keep going.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
On, tell me some other bullshit.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
So I could be like, okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
So now this is what they write. This is from
them writing this. Why would the Sheriff's department show up
in tactic gear and shoot and kill a citizen's dog
that is restrained on a chain to do nothing more
than gain access for a misdemeanor infraction. This is and
should be completely unex acceptable. These officers need to be

(18:02):
held accountable. If a citizen shoots or kills a police
canine officer, they get charged. So should this officer be charged.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
With malicious intent?

Speaker 7 (18:14):
I mean, did you see the video and it look
like it.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
This is absolutely heartbreaking. They'd have They would have had
to shoot me too, if they shot my dog in
front of me like this, I'm with you guys too,
they'd had to get me.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
To Is there something we're missing from the story, because
you know, it's if they're if they're not man, this
is this.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Is fucking you know wrong.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Oh, this is terrible and this is actually the story
of the cultivator is at little underscore Hill Underscore cultivators
So that's the place in Trinity County if you want
to see them on ig and they go support them.

Speaker 7 (18:50):
And help them out a little on their feet exactly.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
And this is a DCC license from Trinity County. Let's
try it seriously. Alarm farm is waiting on local license.
County Inspections saw plants and called sheriff office. It should
be a civil cold civil code compliance matter. So there
we go. So the farm is waiting on a local license. Maybe, gotcha,

(19:17):
that's probably the why. Right, So you don't have a
local license, but you have plants. That's still not a
fucking felony. I'm not breaking any laws that you're gonna
give me a take. I'm not gonna go to jail
for this. You're gonna write me a ticket. So you
gotta shoot me a dog for writing me a ticket.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Yeah what?

Speaker 7 (19:31):
And I'm opening that he opened the door for him.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
He was like the gate was there, It wasn't like.

right here is just right in front of me, and
I'm tutting his head right now, just at.

Speaker 7 (21:21):
The press pet get heard the story. Look at Teddy,
he's all laid out.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
What do you think, Teddy? What's up of your mind?

Speaker 7 (21:27):
At What do you think about the story? Teddy?

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Exactly Yeah, lays his head back down into down to
talk about down there really is. Well, you guys, I
got a good story for us right here, you guys.
Washington State will soon provide measures to protect employees for
pre employment drug tests for cannabis in many situations now.
On May ninth, twenty twenty three, Governor Jail Governor Jay

(21:54):
excuse me insiled he signed a Senate Bill fifty one
thirty two to lay out broad pertections for employees who
consume cannabis while imposing limitations on employment drug testing for cannabis. Now,
employers must prepare to comply by January first, twenty twenty four.

(22:15):
The bill's effective dates, so it's for not looking till
next year, but you know it's passed now. The bill
was sponsored by Senator Karen Kaiser congratulations, who served as
a chair on the Senate Labor and Commerce Committee. Now
here's what the bill reads. This is kind of cool.
It is unlawful for an employer to discriminate against a

(22:37):
person in the initial hiring for employment if the discrimination
is based upon a the person use. The person's use
of cannabis off the job and away from the workplace
are b an employee require drugsche screening test that has

(23:00):
found the person that have non psychoactive cannabis, metaballots in
his hair, blood, urine are other bodily fluids. Now that
all being said, you guys, have you guys ever First off,
shout outs to them out there for real Washington State.
But have you guys ever taken a drug test?

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (23:22):
You passed?

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (23:23):
When? Why?

Speaker 6 (23:24):
Who?

Speaker 7 (23:24):
What went?

Speaker 4 (23:25):
When I was playing semi professional? Yeah? Over in England week. Yeah,
we got drug tested for sure.

Speaker 7 (23:31):
How many times I.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
Probably got tested two or three times in my year
and a half, And like they do it like a
random lottery.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
Oh so you didn't know what's coming.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
Yeah. No, they'd like they get all of us out
there at practice. There was like one hundred of us
and they'd just be like, all right, five of you
lot like you're getting your names red off and so
like I got mine called a couple of times over
the year and a half past. Yeah, there was like
one hundred people in our academy.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
So you were practically the five got chosen.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Yeah. Yeah, and they like did it a decent amount
because you know, we're in college.

Speaker 7 (24:05):
And get anybody get popped. Yeah, no way, Yeah what happened.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
So it was like an internal process, Like it's not
like they took.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
It to anybody else.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
No, they were they the house.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Yeah, they you know, they suspend you and then you
would have to like upon first offense, you like they
ban you from training for two weeks and then games
as well, and then the second offense you have to
like go through like a rehab program which is just
going with your ra a once a week and like

(24:37):
talking about how you shouldn't smoke weed. And then the
third offense was like a meeting for expulsion, like you
could you're taking this away like yeah yeah, like you're
not here for the right reasons. So where was that
in Leeds, England?

Speaker 3 (24:53):
What what game did you play?

Speaker 7 (24:54):
What? What what team did you play for? I was
playing Manchester United.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Liverpool is my favorite team, rivals Manchester United.

Speaker 7 (25:05):
Or there you go, the biggest right there.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Yes, So I played for Richmond International Academic Soccer Academy
and basically it was like a four year program for education.
I studied sports management doubled with semi professional soccer. So
I was playing in the seventh division of English, the
English Football Pyramid. And so we were playing like teams
anywhere from all the way to Liverpool up to Newcastle,

(25:32):
like down in like Birmingham, and like.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
With the talent just amazing. Were playing against guys a.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Lot of different a lot of different. Uh, it's a
different kind of game over there. And especially when they
hear my accent and they're like, oh, you're an American,
Like I'm gonna fuck you up like they want to.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Oh yeah, they say it in your language. Oh yeah,
let me hear with their.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
Accent, they'd be like, well, you fucking yank bro, I'm
gonna fucking stick here. Yeah, fucking get ship legs broken.

Speaker 7 (26:03):
Are you watching ted Lasso?

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Of course?

Speaker 5 (26:05):
Have you watched your Current with the season A dude,
that's another good show.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
It's on Apple TV called ted Lasso.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
It's all about it's it's not about soccer, but it's
about soccer, right like the for those that are heroes
like hear me now, believe me later.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
It is one of the funnest shows. It's so cool.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
There's so every episode has a moral to the story,
Like there's every time you watch it you're like, oh, like,
oh this.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Is it's a good like mixture of like actual comedy
versus like having like a wholesome, lighthearted show where like
you know, they have like the banter where they you.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Know, it's so you have a banter you probably dealt with.
Oh my god, like because an American coach comes after that,
you're the American player probably out there like.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
Roy Kent Bruh. It's like on par with guy like
that fucking whistle fucking run like like I'm getting off
the Beach Show. The last episode.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
Oh, dude, when I tell you it's my favorite show,
it is my favorite show Hands, and then it was
my favorite show.

Speaker 7 (27:06):
It's called Last Last.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
So you see a lot of people dressed like him
for Halloween. He had the mustache and the sweatsuit, the
blue one. Dude, I was so on it. I when
we Oh, didn't I get you? We watched it on
the way to day. I was with whoever I was
in the car with, I think with Salar and somebody
else exactly.

Speaker 7 (27:25):
I made them.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
Watch the show on my TV in the car and
I go, dude, you gotta watch Ted last week. I've
already watched the whole first season, but you.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
Got to get into it, and they died loved it.
But it's a it's goes.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Hand in hand with what you're saying exactly.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
So anyways, you didn't get did you ended up not
ever getting caught.

Speaker 7 (27:41):
No, I never did you smoke at that time.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Yeah, I was starting to get into it, Like I'd say,
at the end of my first semester when we had
our break, that's when like everyone would go and you know.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
Just stopped during the season, stopped.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
During the season, and then like once I knew I
was leaving, like because I decided that I was transferred,
probably like halfway through my last semester. So like at
that point, I was like, I'm fucking blaze it. Man.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
It's funny because during the season I would stop partying.
Two when I was playing college football, Yeah, I would
slow down my party only, but not the drinking. After
the games, I drink, yeah, right, and I get so
drunk and be crazy.

Speaker 7 (28:18):
But Joe, you want a bump.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
You want to do all that?

Speaker 5 (28:21):
Exactly what my point is I did that. But let
me tell you, guys my little drug test story. So
I am about I don't know what age, but I
get a job opportunity to go work at this little
company called IBM. Yeah, and of course I'm living in
the Bay Area and it's gonna be the job change.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Of my life.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Dot com boom, you know what.

Speaker 7 (28:42):
I mean exactly. It's that early dot com boom, and
I get the.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
Interview, I pass, I do everything, stars and shiny, Joe,
you have to go take a drug test. Why was
I did I stop before this? This is when I
party hard, right, I stopped. I was ready to the
night before the fucking test.

Speaker 7 (29:01):
I'm an idiot.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
It's just guided just smoke weed with my boys that
were there, and that.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
I'm telling you and I literally just you had a
test the nice day.

Speaker 7 (29:10):
That's how that I was.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
Yes, and I literally you know what I want to
smoke with you guys, maybe it won't be in it.
And of course I went to take the drug tests
and you guys wouldn't believe it. I fail and I
didn't get the job at IBM, No way because I
failed the drug No.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
It's like it's like a little game that the athletes play.
It's like like it's it makes it even like I
don't know, it's not like anyone's trying to do it,
but it always happens where all these people are just
smoking right before the test and then they get their
trash bags with the diet cranberry juice.

Speaker 7 (29:47):
Hey, for a long time.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
It hit me hard, dog where I went on a
spiral after that, just pretty harder okay in front.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Of me put that in more hard to take us
out of the show in your Liverpool Accents.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
Islands, We're fucking done with this segment of Cannabis Talk
