Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey guys, and welcome back to another week of Gia Diaries.
This is going to be my last Gia Diaries at
my home. I am moving out tomorrow into my apartment
in Jersey City. It is so bittersweet and I can't
believe that this move is happening already. I feel like

(00:23):
summer just ended and I was searching for apartments and
figuring everything out, and now my move in date is here.
It's kind of crazy. I am, of course going to
bring all of my espresso martini stuff to my new apartment,
but it's bittersweet. Really. Last night, Christian and I went

(00:47):
to BJ's and I basically got all of my cleaning
supplies and everything that I need for my apartment. And
I was sitting there like, what else do I have
to do? And I'm so tight. I wanted to make
sure I had everything pretty organized before I moved in,
and the only thing I really need to do is

(01:08):
grocery shop. So it's crazy that this is where I'm
at and that it's finally here. I am so excited.
I think what I'm most excited for, though, is hosting
and having my friends over. Something about me. I don't

(01:29):
like being alone so I'm super excited to just constantly
on my friends over. I know on the weekends they're
going to come over and we'll pregame before going out.
Thanksgivings coming up, I would really love to host a
little friends giving, have everyone over before Blackout Wednesday, and
I'm just super excited for this month to have all
of my loved ones, friends and family over to really

(01:52):
just show them my apartment, entertain make charcuterie boards, and
do the whole thing. I love hosting and I love
being around the people that I love, so now I'm
excited to be able to do it in my own place.
I think what really prepared me for this move, and

(02:13):
when I knew I was really ready was after Special Forces,
Because when I was doing Special Forces, it really forced
me to be on my own and be without my
family and fight through and do things for myself. And
while I was there, I had like a big realization

(02:35):
as well, like I need to do this for me.
I'm ready to make this move. I'm ready to do
this for my career and for myself and throughout my life.
I really haven't done too many things for myself. I'm
honestly a very selfless person. I care for everybody around me,
So I think my biggest worry was leaving my family

(03:00):
because subconsciously, I'm just always there for them. I'm always
there if they need anything, and I think that's just
a part of me and who I am. So I
was always just nervous to leave. I never really had
a reason to, and obviously it's comfortable. You're at your
family's house. What better place to be. But I think

(03:25):
I finally am ready now, and that's super exciting. So
yesterday was also my last Sunday dinner officially living at home,
even though I am going to be coming back for
Sunday dinners all the time. But everything was just so good.
My mom went to Uncle Giuseetpees. I don't know if

(03:47):
you guys know this food store, but if I could
have a field day in there, it is literally an
Italian girls heaven. It smells amazing, There's everything you could
want in there and more. And so they food shopped
at Uncle giuseppe Is yesterday and just got fresh pasta
and just everything was so amazing. Their projutto bread is

(04:09):
insane if you guys have never had it. But they
do not have an uncle Jiazeppes, I think in Jersey City,
so I need to do that, and it was so funny.
I was at the Shorthills Mall a couple of weeks
ago too, and I don't know if you guys know,
like the Italy and the Shorthills Mall, but they also
have like a little grocery store in the Italy, and

(04:30):
I was like, I need a grocery shop here, uncle
Giuseppes for my apartment. But uh yeah, it's just it's
so exciting, and I need my nana to also give
me some goodies to have in my house. So she's
getting a phone call from me today because I need
to go pick up some things. So it's crazy. Bravo

(04:51):
con is literally two weekends away, not even one weekend away,
because after this weekend, it's the weekend after. Yeah, I'm
pretty yeah, let me look at this calendar. Yeah my god,
it's not this weekend, it's the weekend after. So obviously,
Bravocon prep is intense. You want to have the best looks,

(05:14):
the best outfits, and it is a hectic, hectic weekend.
I am on a lot of panels. I hope you
guys come and see me, so make sure to check
out my Bravocon schedule. I am also having a booth
at Bravocon, which I'm so excited about and I think
you guys are really gonna like this one. It is
going to be a Casual Chaos and Waking Up in

(05:38):
the Morning booth, So I am going to have so
many goodies for you guys, Casual Chaos merch, waking Up
in the morning merch. And I am so excited to
finally bring my viral Waking Up in the Morning song
to Bravocon. I don't think there's a better place than
to debut this line. So I am so excited for

(06:00):
you guys to see that, see the merch, buy some merch,
and just have the best time at Bravocan. If you're going,
and if you see me, make sure to say hello.
I'm so excited for this. And this is my first
Bravocon officially on my own show. So Next Gen is

(06:21):
also having their own panel. There's a lot of fun
things happening at Bravocan. I can't wait for you guys
to be there. Have so much fun for me to
be there and see you guys, And most importantly, I'm
so excited for you know this waking up in the
morning merch. Last night, also, me and Christian went to

(06:47):
go pick up Audriana from her friend's house and she
just got her permit, so we made her drive home.
And those are one of those moments where I'm just
sitting back, like I'm really gonna miss this. She's my
baby sister, and I've watched all of my sisters obviously

(07:07):
grow and become the beautiful young woman they are today,
and it's just it's weird. I constantly want to always
be there and always be present, and I know I
still will be, but just from a little bit more
of a distance now, And I don't know. It was

(07:31):
just crazy. I'm sitting there watching her behind the driver's
seat and I was like, how did we get here?
Just such a crazy moment. But today she wants to
drive with me again before I move, and I'm like, oh,
I wish I could do this with you every day.
I wish I could be driving with you every day

(07:52):
after I get home from work or after you get
home from school, Like this is what I'm gonna miss.
But don't worry. My mom already asked me to sleep
home on Thursday night because she needs me to drive
Ondreana to school in the morning, so I am definitely
going to be back and forth. I really want to
dedicate Sundays to being with my family. So we'll take

(08:16):
it week by week and see how it goes. But
I know that this is going to probably be one
of the best chapters of my life, and I'm so
excited for it. It's definitely a little scary right now,
just financially, this is the obviously the biggest financial purchase

(08:37):
I've done in my entire life. So obviously paying your
security deposit and your first month's rent and then furnishing
an entire place by yourself, There's just so much that
goes into it that you don't even realize. So definitely
the biggest, you know, lum sum of money that I've

(08:58):
dropped at once in my life. That was definitely scary
and it is scary, but it also is just motivating
me to work harder and bring back the money and
some So it's definitely a journey. It's a learning curve,

(09:19):
it's an adventure, and I am so so ready for it.
On this past weekend, I also had a really fun
event with raising canes. I was standing next to a
two thousand, seven hundred and fourteen pound pumpkin. Never been

(09:42):
never seen been present with a pumpkin that large. I
didn't even know that that existed. But there were really
really cool pumpkin carvers or is that correct? I think, yeah,
like they're they're pumpkin carvers. So they were there and
they carved this amazing art into this pumpkin, and it

(10:07):
had raising canes on it the Statue of Liberty and
it was just like a really cool, like symbolic moment
also of New York City. We got to eat some
yummy raising caines, and there were a lot of familiar
faces there like Dolores Luanne, food God, Jordan Woods. It

(10:29):
was super cool and a really really fun event. I
had to say a speech in front of everyone, which
I was really nervous about, but they said I killed it.
And then on top of that, though, it was monsooning,
so we're standing under the tents. I'm in a fur coat.
Why would I wear a fur when it's monsooning outside?

(10:50):
And I have no idea, but the rain just wasn't
getting better, and I was like, this is crazy. We're
doing this whole event in Times Square with raising canes
and it's monsoiting outside, but it was awesome and we
had the best time. I was eating so many French fries,

(11:10):
but it was really really fun. And then obviously some
filming with Next Gen m I c this weekend and
I also went to the Halloween Barkrawl in New York City.
That was fun, and I was working prior to going

(11:31):
to the Bark Crawl so got there a little later
than the rest of my friends, but it ended up
being pretty chill. We were kind of bouncing around a
little bit, then ended up at this bar that wasn't
even a part of the Bark Crawl and just kind
of chilled, got some martinis and it was a great
way to end the night. Listen, I love Halloween. I

(11:53):
love seeing other people go all out with their costumes,
but that has just never really been me. So Audriana
wore this Freddy Krueger costume on Friday, and she's just insane.
I mean, she is so beautiful. But I was looking
at her and I was like, wait, can I actually

(12:14):
wear this tomorrow when I go to the Bark Crawl
in New York And she was like, yeah, of course.
So I was Freddy Krueger and thanks to Audriana because
I wore her costume, but yeah, she looked so good.
And then I was also invited to the Christian Lubaton
event and it was American Psycho theme, but I was

(12:38):
so tired. It was it was my last weekend at
home and I just really wanted to be home, so
I passed on that, but I was happy to at
least be in the Halloween spirit a little bit and
hang out with my friends for the Bark Crawl. But also,
would you guys ever be interested in me hosting a

(12:59):
bar ocall. I'm thinking about maybe doing that for Santacon,
so stay tuned. M
