Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey guys, and welcome back to another week of geodiaries.
I feel like there is so much to catch up on,
but I am going to start by talking about the
Tart trip. I was asked to go tripping with Tart.
We went to Turks and Caicos and it was absolutely amazing,
like actually a dream and a trip of a lifetime.
(00:24):
So I'll take you day by day. We started by
all flying into Miami and then we took a private
JSX flight to Turks and Caicos. It was such a
short flight and I was right near the Bahamas, so
I was super tempted to go see my dad. But
(00:45):
I am filming still for Next Gen, so we are
wrapping up season two, which is crazy. But I'll get
into that a little later. But just such a big
shout out to Tart team and to Marine. She is
the sweetest, most amazing fun ceo I've ever met in
(01:08):
my life. The way that they plan these trips is
just so well thought out. Everything is planned by the
second We got there and ate some food, had some
welcome cocktails, and then it was our room reveal and
(01:29):
they had everything. You could imagine it more if you
didn't pack for that trip. It's fine because they had
you covered for every theme. Every night, everything was on
our beds and it was just amazing all the Tart
products you could think of. And my new obsession now
(01:50):
is shape Tape Concealer. Now, I understand the hype behind
shape Tape and I have been using it ever since the.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Tart trip and since I've gotten home.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
It is seriously so good and it blends out so easily.
It just gives you the perfect amount of coverage and
you don't need foundation with it. So I understand the
hype around shape Tape now. But the while we were
on the trip, they also launched a new lippie, so
(02:22):
there were there was just so much marketing behind the
entire thing, and it was so incredible. I know so
many influencers talk about the Tart trip and it's controversial
and there's backlash, but at the end of the day,
Tart is being talked.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
About and that is where.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
All of the publicity comes in and all of the tent,
all of the traction, and honestly everything comes about with
tripping with Tart. And I know there's some comments like
I was getting a couple on my videos like wow,
I'm so happy to see you using the products. Everyone
was using the products, and also they supplied us hair
(03:05):
and makeup, so every night before going to our night event,
I got my makeup done. So all of the Tart
makeup artists used Tart makeup the entire time. So for
a lot of the girls who were getting their makeup done,
we obviously weren't filming get readies with me because we
were getting our makeup done by the makeup artists. But
(03:27):
in all of the videos and all of the content
that all of the creators have posted, they made sure
that every single inch of our videos had Tart in it.
So no matter what angle are where you were filming
your videos, people knew you were on Tripping with Tart.
When it came to the yoga classes or the night parties,
(03:50):
everything had Tart cosmetics on it. The boats that we
took to Noah's Arc, like everything, there were the pillows
of Tripping with Tart Noah's Arc underneath that I had
Tripping with Tart. They just think of everything, and yes,
maybe to some it looks like a big party, but
it really is a time where you get to know
(04:11):
the Tart staff, and I really got to know Maureen
and she is the sweetest, sweetest person ever. And Tart
social is on it. We were filming social videos for
their page all day every day, so no matter what
they were pushing for the brand, we were pushing for
(04:31):
the brand. Yes, it was such an amazing trip, but
it's also a celebration of like where Tart is today.
And I've said this before, Tart Cosmetics put brand trips
on the map, So to have been invited to such
an amazing brand trip like this one, it was such
(04:51):
an honor because I feel like after Tart started doing
their iconic brand trips which they are, then followed them.
Then after obviously you saw other brands doing cool brand
trips and things from that, but Tart put the trips
on the map, and that's what got people talking. And
(05:14):
no matter what, people are going to talk about them,
because yes, they're extravagant trips, but also, guys, it's Tart Cosmetics,
Like they are so generous.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
And so kind and there is so much.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Behind it that obviously they're doing something right because they
have an entire empire that is so incredible.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
So no matter what, you're going to have your people
that talk.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
But it was seriously one of the most amazing trips
I've ever been on in my entire life. So the
first night was rave night. This was the night that
Brie got her stitches. And this night was so fun.
This was all the night that I think I went
the hardest, but it was amazing. We had Tart makeup
(06:07):
artists drawing on our faces. Camilla actually did my art
and she was very talented. She did my face art
and Millenia's. But then day two we had an eighties
beach day theme and it was adorable. The beach had
(06:28):
like this crooked picture frame on it. There were there
was the Tart sign in the sand, the umbrellas, the
baseball caps, like everything is strategic in what we capture
in our videos. So my entire like, spend the day
with me and you know, wake up with me at Tart.
(06:49):
You saw it. You saw Tart cosmetics everywhere, So that
was super fun. And then that night was tripping in
Gold and this was my favorite outfit and my favorite
night by far. I loved my outfit and I think
we just had so much fun this night. We really
(07:12):
just like it was a nice dinner. Everyone really just
got to know each other, which was really nice. And
I think that's the beauty of going on these brand
trips as well, because you meet people that you probably
wouldn't talk to if you walked into the same room
as them at an event. So just being able to
(07:35):
be around these amazing women, like I fell in love
with so many of them and grew relationships with so
many people on the trip, and everybody's plus ones.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Were amazing, Like, it was seriously so much fun.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
And that was and then everyone is filming content where
other influencers are getting in each other's videos. It it
was just amazing. Day three was super fun as well.
(08:14):
We woke up and had yoga, and yes, not everyone
made it to yoga, only a select few, but yoga
was amazing and I'm so happy I did it. Oh
I missed the puppies, guys, Oh my gosh. So day
two before the eighties Beach Day party. So this organization
(08:38):
came in called Potcake Place Canine Rescue, and they had
so many puppies and it's so sad because I think
you know, when you go to islands, the amount of
stray dogs and animals that you see just as you're
(08:59):
driving through the island is so sad. Basically, then when
we come in, they want us to bring awareness to
obviously have people see these animals and give them a home.
So there was this two week old puppy. I swear guys,
he was the size of my hand. He is still
(09:19):
currently being bottle fed. And he was found on the
side of the road and his mom was trying to,
you know, I think, bring all of her babies across
the road or whatever was happening, and unfortunately, his mom
was killed by you know, a car or someone driving by,
(09:42):
and the babies were stranded on the street. And that's
when Potcake Place Canine Rescue came in rescued the babies
and now they are nursing them.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
You know, to nursing them right now.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
So I nursed little puppy and it was just the
most precious thing to see. But then hearing the stories
and just hearing you know, how these puppies are found,
and you know, even some adult dogs are found where
they're starving and mountainnourished.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
It really is so sad.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
And just like you know with adoption, how you know,
every child deserves a home.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
I think it's the same thing for animals.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
And it was just the sweetest thing to see and
the sweetest thing to witness. And the puppies were just
so sweet and so kind. They were adorable. There were
brothers and sisters. A lot of them were brothers and
sisters because they're found like together in a litter.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
So it was so beautiful to see.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Tart donated thirty thousand dollars to the organization, and so
did Camilla and Julia, so that was just so amazing
to see that all happen, and it was really beautiful.
So make sure to check them out because they are
an amazing organization. And it was so funny because when
(11:11):
I posted them the plate studio that I used to
go do back at home, they actually the owners of
that pilate studio rescued their dog from this organization. So
it's just it's such a small world. And I think,
you know, when you're traveling and if you get the
opportunity to just stop by and see these animals and
(11:34):
you know, maybe take one home with you, I think
it's a really great thing. And they were the cutest ever.
They just want to be loved and have a home.
So then at the last day at tripping with Tart,
we went to Noah's Arc, which is Drake's favorite bar,
(11:57):
and I'm I am a little confused by it. Listen,
it was a cool bar, but like for it to
be Drake's favorite bar, it wasn't It wasn't that crazy.
I mean, we had an amazing time. We were dancing,
having so much fun. And after being on this trip
with all of these girls, I want to take dance lessons.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Because I am over it.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
I want to be able to walk into a room
and know how to dance when music is playing. I
don't need to know how to like ballroom dance, but
I want to feel confident in myself and I think
this year my confidence has grown so much, but I
want to feel confident on the dance floor like Riley,
(12:42):
I am going to shout you out right now and Christina,
and I'm shouting you two out because you killed it
on the dance floor every single night. Riley Sorage and
Christina Kirkman, you too. I'm obsessed with you both. You
are both insane and so hot. The way that they
(13:02):
were dancing, I was like, teach me your moves. They
were just so confident, they knew what they were doing
and they could dance to any song, I was like this,
they're not real, Like they're just not real.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
I love them both. I'm obsessed with both of them.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
But like, what would that entail because it's not like listen,
I was a dancer when I was younger, but they
were like choreographed routines that I think if I went
into a dance class right now, I would be able
to pick it up. There's a difference between going into
a dance class and learning a dance rather than like
genuinely having just like like you know, like to dance
(13:42):
in a club, Like I feel like it's like, you know,
you got to have some like street style, like it
was like I don't know they were they killed it,
And I genuinely want to learn how to dance like that.
So if any of you guys have recommendations on where
I can learn just how to like dance to me,
like freestyle, I just want to learn and had a
freestyle and moved my body and like look good while
(14:04):
doing it. You know, I think that's a lot of
people's once because I'm tired of just like doing like
putting my hand up in the club, like it's just
it's boring and yeah, and it confirmed that at Merediths
TJ set, I was just bouncing around on the stage.
(14:32):
So and then to conclude the trip we had, I'm
sure you guys have all seen Tar after Dark, so
that so basically every.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Night is Tar after dark, after dinner or where whatever.
And so we it.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Was raining on It was raining like on and off
our last day in Turks, so we had to leave
Noah's Ark a little early, and we canceled our red
theme night because it was dinner outside. We just had
a pajama party inside instead, and everyone was dancing and
having fun. But I did leave a little early because
(15:11):
our room looked atrocious and Milania like needed to pack
up everything. And Milania is so funny, but as an
older sister, when she doesn't want to do something and
I know she's fully capable of doing it, it bothers me, like,
you know, it's the laziness. So I packed up everything
(15:34):
before dinner, and I put everything of hers that she
had to pack in a pile.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
All she had to do was pack up her.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Luggage and so all of mine were packed. Everything was
packed up, all of the products that Tart gave us everything,
and I had all of her stuff lined up because
Tart not only gives me products, but they all also
give all of the same products to your plus one,
so that is obviously so extremely generous. And I am
(16:08):
sitting on the bed and I did feel bad. She
was starting to, like not feel good. I think Milania
was like getting sick towards the end of the trip,
and a lot of people were, but she was like, Gia.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Just help me.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
And it was like that wine, and you know when
like the wine, Like I can't take the wine, it's like,
just do it. And of course Milania didn't end up
doing it, and I packed her entire suitcases up for
her and did everything for her, and.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
So we did that, and that's kind of how we
ended our Tart trip.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
But it was funny because as I was packing up
Malania's things, she we had an outdoor shower in our
room and she was taking her shower, and all of
a sudden we just hear like bang, like like pop,
like fireworks, and from her outdoor shower, the fireworks were
literally right above and it was so beautiful. So I
(17:09):
did leave Tar after dark a little early and missed
the fireworks, but I didn't miss them because I saw
them right.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
From my room.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
But then the next day, obviously we were all getting
ready to leave, and Maureen was so funny because on
the JSX flight two Turks, we obviously had drinks, we
had champagne, but she was very upset that we didn't
have our caviar, And when we were on our way home,
(17:39):
she pulls out caviar, all the toppings like magnum bottles
of Voove champagne. And she is just like the sweetest
soul and so insanely generous, and I mean, I have
to give it to her because she is the life
of the party. Her energy is unmatched, and it was
(18:04):
just so amazing to have been asked to go on
a trip like this.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Then we landed in Miami and me and Milania.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Had to jet to Fort Lauderdale Airport to catch our flight.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
So we then made it back to Newark.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
I had to get come home, change and go to
Meredith's DJ set, and it was so funny and such
a wonderful surprise. But Meredith actually did a remix of
my waking Up in the Morning song, so I entered
the stage to baby Gia saying waking up in the
(18:43):
morning thinking about so many things, from there, she mixes
it into the Kesha song wake Up in the Morning,
feeling like, you know, so that happened, and that was
so amazing. The crowd was going insane, and I have
to give Meredith so many props because the crowd was
(19:07):
amazing and she just really knows how to bring her
audience in through her remixes with iconic lines that she said.
And there was just a trend throughout her entire show.
It wasn't like she just played music. It was, you know,
(19:29):
she brought people out. She shouted out people, she brought
out her family, and it was really incredible and also
a crazy surprise. Chloe is working on a single right now,
and they previewed her single at that show, and I
(19:50):
was blown away. I couldn't believe it. She sounded incredible
and the song was so good. But their family is
just they are one of many talents. But I am
currently obsessed with Salt Lake City. I don't know if
I've told you guys this, but like legitimately obsessed and
(20:11):
I'm playing catch up right now because I obviously didn't
really watch on the tart trip, but I was talking
to Meredith about it at her show and She's like, oh, Curl,
you have to catch up, keep watching, and I'm just
I'm dying. So now all my Salt Lake City updates.
I need to text Meredith because I just have. I
(20:32):
keep texting Brooks with all my questions and just my
reactions and he thinks it's hilarious. But salt Lake City
is tea guys, like, you need to watch salt Lake
And then I need to continue Secret Life of Mormon
Wives because I got through season one. Now I'm onto
Salt Lake and I now then I got to finish
(20:52):
Mormon Wives. They're good, Like the drama is just so
good and.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
It just pops up out of nowhere. I'm just like, whoa.
And it's funny because I make Christian watch it with
me too.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
You know you always drag your boyfriend into reality TV,
Like that's just how it works. They don't want to
watch it at first, but then they get sucked in.
And now we are wrapping season two, which is so
crazy to me. So this is our last week of filming,
so lots going on, lots of filming happening, but I
(21:28):
cannot believe season two is about to be over. This
season was amazing and I hope you guys love it,
because I think this is going to be a really,
really amazing season. I think it's going to blow Season
one away.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
But yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Life just moves so fast, and then you know, before
we know is the holidays are like next week and
I need to do all of my Christmas shopping.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
How fun.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
I'm usually so much better than this, but I think
there was just a lot happening this month that I
just got a little sidetracked. So I need to get
back on track and I should, you know, order some
things now. All right, And that's it for this week's Geodiaries.
Until next time, Love you guys. Bye,
