Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey guys, and welcome back to another week of geodiaries.
I am so excited that I was able to announce
Special Forces. I am going to be on season four
of Special Forces Me and my mom. I was so
excited to do this experience with my mom because it's
(00:22):
not every day that you get to say that you
have done some of the craziest tasks and challenges with
your mom. This is definitely an experience that I will
hold very close to my heart and remember forever that
I was able to do this with her. The cast
was absolutely amazing. We are such a bonded family. Now
(00:47):
we are seriously so close. We don't have access to
our phones, so you are really getting to know everyone
so well. Everyone was so amazing. We were all there
for each other and I can't wait to see everybody
when we film the reunion. Yes we're filming the reunion
for Special Forces, but we're having our own reunion after
(01:10):
we seriously got so close. And this show was the
most challenging thing that I have ever done in my life,
but it also has changed my life. I have gained
such a greater appreciation for our military after doing this show.
(01:30):
They really are sacrificing their lives every day to keep
us safe. So the appreciation for them is bigger than
words can describe. The DS were incredible. They were such
a pleasure to work with, as much as they were
screaming in my face. They were my biggest motivators. So
(01:53):
you guys know, I love health and wellness and it's
a big part of my life. So leading up to
Special Forces, I was in Italy for my cousin's wedding,
so I was eating pasta every day, freaking out that
I was about to leave for Africa to go on
Special Forces. I was like, I'm going to die. I've
been eating pasta every day. But thank god, Italy contains
(02:18):
a lot of walking, so I was walking everywhere, climbing
up hills. I definitely was getting my cardio in, maybe
not the right way I should have been getting my
cardio in. Then I came home. I had like a
week before leaving for Special Forces, and I just ate
(02:39):
so clean. Then we got to Africa. We were in
Morocco and the food was just not my cup of tea.
So I started dropping weight. The second I got to Morocco.
I just couldn't find anything that I really liked, so
(03:01):
that was definitely one of the bigger challenges for me,
and I just fueled myself by eating a lot of
fruits and vegetables. Breakfast was my favorite meal because you
can't really screw up breakfast and it was definitely a
(03:22):
crazy experience. So my manager approached me with the idea
Fox reached out to them about having my mom and
I on. I think it was a no brainer. I
really just thought to myself, when will I ever be
able to do something like this ever again with my mom?
Even if she leaves the first day, or even if
(03:43):
I leave the second day, We're still going to experience
things that we would never experience if we didn't go
on the show. So it did take a lot of convincing.
My mom was absolutely terrid. I wasn't that scared. I've
(04:03):
been skydiving before. I'm pretty fearless when it comes to heights,
so I'm a good swimmer. My mom is not a
good swimmer, so she was absolutely terrified. But we are
both so happy that we did it. So we did
not know the cast list before we went. It was
actually so funny. We were at our last hotel before
(04:27):
going to the campsite or no campsite before going to base.
The DS will kill me if I if they hear
me say campsite. It was a full blown base and
so yeah, we once we were at our last hotel,
we were kind of seeing people, but the producers and
(04:50):
everyone really did not want us interacting at all until
we got to base. So we had to do some
training before getting to base, just to make sure that
we were fully prepared for what was to come. And
as my mom and I were laying by the pool,
all of a sudden, I see Brianna walk by and
I took my sunglasses off. I was like Brianna and
(05:13):
we both were so happy. I would say, out of
the whole cast, Brianna and I definitely got the closest
throughout this show. I could not have done it without her.
We really motivated each other and stuck it through together.
And she's amazing. She's one of my friends for life.
(05:34):
You know. Some of the guys on the cast that
were amazing and really motivated me were Andrew Randall, Eric
They really were so amazing, Johnny Ough and then you
can't forget about Nick. I can't even name one person
that I really did not get along with. On this cast,
(05:57):
there were definitely some people that would get under your
skin a little bit, and you guys will see that
on the show. And I mean, you guys have all
been talking about him already, so I'm sure you could
assume who it is. But the rest of the cast
was really amazing. Everyone was so strong, so motivating, and
(06:21):
I think we all motivated each other in some way,
and I would say we were a really strong team.
So yeah, when I saw Brianna, we were both so happy.
It was so nice just to see a familiar face. Obviously,
my mom knew Jesse from Dancing with the Stars. Eva
(06:43):
is on Atlanta Housewives, so my mom was happy to
see somebody else in the Bravo world. So it was
honestly really fun to kind of connect the dots of
the whole cast once we all met each other. It
was really funny because me, Brihanna, and Mark were the
three influencers on the cast, and we were surrounded by
NFL players, NBA players, Olympic soccer players. We had some
(07:07):
competition and it was honestly such a motivating experience. We
all motivated each other. Everybody on the cast was so amazing.
We were all there for each other so much, and
we all pushed each other to our limits. As much
(07:27):
as it is an individually based competition show, we were
such a team. I was also the youngest on this
cast of Special Forces, so I kind of felt like
everyone was looking out for me like a little sister,
which was really nice. Also, I just feel like Special
(07:50):
Forces is such a rewarding show. You are really experiencing
real life moments that our military goes through, and you
actually feel just a glimpse of what they sacrifice every day.
This was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever
(08:14):
done in my life. Yeah, as much as I love
Next Gen, this was just something different. So I can't
wait for you guys to see me on Special Forces. Okay, guys,
And that was it for this week of Geodiaries. A
little reminder, Special Forces is premiering Thursday, September twenty fifth
(08:35):
on Fox, and you can catch it the next day
on Hulu.
