issues with your family, or maybe you have a question
about my personal life. Whatever the case is, I want

(00:39):
my opinions, and if you're suffering from a serious issue
or hardship, you should seek help from a qualified professional.
All right, now, go ahead and leave your message at
the sound of the.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Beebnosis Cheekies and podcast cases the sura l'amnian that love
is light. Thank you for reading your devotional on Spotify, Cheekis.
I would suggest that you do that because, yes, the
reason I listen to you here, it's because I want
to hear what you have to say. I do not
(01:10):
have Instagram, I do not have social media. I just
go on Spotify. So thank you for doing that.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Is light.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Oh, I like Jessica vitos Mensak. Thank you so much,
you guys. Jessica leaves me messages she shares her thoughts
with me on the link I leave you, guys for
Dear Cheeky's so I'm so grateful. And she's talking about
Sincerely Jenne. If you guys haven't caught Sincerely Jenney, guys,
those are random thoughts and random feelings that I get
(01:51):
and that I just talk to you guys. Literally, it's
a voice note directly to you guys. So that's what
she's talking about. Because I did read my devotion all
the other day. I used to share them on Instagram
all the time, but I just feel like, oh, some
people probably just you know, don't even listen. I'm like,
I'm gonna start doing it on Sincerely Jane. So thank
you for the confirmation. Like Yessica, I love it too.
I love like like Yessica, And I don't know what
(02:13):
you're going through. Momentos on this journey of like healing.
Elmnos is like faith that is like obviously it's unseen.
(02:40):
It's not something you can touch, not something you can hold.
It's just something that you feel. It really just makes
things better, even if it's just for a little bit.
Make sure you take deep breaths, make sure you just
live in the moment. The power of now is real
of us just reminding ourselves right now, Right now, this
moment is the only thing I can control. I can't
(03:01):
worry about what's going to happen tomorrow. I just have
to enjoy the now. So that's the best advice I
can give you. I don't know what you're going through,
but I'm sending you a big, big panda bear hug.
And Okay, guys, our next question comes from Sandra Hi Tikis.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I would like to start by saying you came into
my life in a perfect moment, such as the podcast
I started always from the beginning of this year. A
lot of what you have said, how you are, affected,
how you have been growing and you know, and I
used to have to think like I need to be
at this agent do this, and now I see that
It's like I've been growing a lot. I have a
(03:45):
lot more confidence in myself and what my life is.
And I would like to say that it's thanks to
people like you, people like you, like Jay Sheddy, like
Mel Robbins, who helped back by helping those who have struggled,
you know who have thinks like it's just them thinking it,
because I used to think it was just me. I
used to think that to do what was wrong with me?
(04:06):
And now I see like, no, it's not that something's
wrong with me. I have a bigger purpose in this life.
And I think I'm just more excited to where where's
God taking my life now? And I think I'm very
more like faithful and believing that there's more to me.
So my question to you is, I have a business
plan in mind which would be giving back to the community,
(04:26):
But do you know of how like there's avenues or
how to reach out to people to invest in my
business plan? Like I have it all put out, it's
just more of like it's a financial it's a big
financial plan, and I just want to have more advice.
So I have to be more confident to approach these people
and how to do it.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Sandra, thank you, Thank you so much. It's been hard
this week. The crazy thing is I came back from
a retreat and I was feeling on top of the world,
and then and the enemy knows where to attack you,
and it wanted to start problems with my siblings.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So and.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Then, thank goodness, I've done all of this inner work
that I know how to get myself back in a
good place. But it gets exhausting, you know, so listening
to you and just you putting me in the same
category as Jay Shetty and Mel Robbins, like, it's just
those are people that I admire so much and I
(05:31):
love watching and listening to their podcasts. So thank you
because I was feeling some type of way before coming
and recording to your cheeky's and then hearing you guys
just makes life makes sense and it reminds me that
I'm on the right track. So just thank you so much.
Think you think you, thank you, And I'm glad that
(05:52):
you're able to learn from the things I talk about
and my vulnerability, because yeah, we all go through it.
Doesn't matter how much money you have in the world,
what you have or you don't have, we all go
through it and it's how we react to things. So
I'm glad that you're on this journey. I'm glad that
you feel so inspired to start your own business to
(06:14):
help other people. I do wish I had a little
bit more information as far as a business, so that
way I can direct you a little better. But there
are grants. I don't know where you live, but there
are investors that you can look up online and say,
depending on the type of business it is. You can
literally google investors for a nonprofit let's just say, I
(06:35):
don't know, to help with domestic violence, and you'll get
there are grants that are government. They have money, they
act like they don't and they anyway, I'm not going
to get into that, but there is money there, and
there are companies and depending if you have a whole
business plan, you could present your business plan to them
and then if they're like okay, if you have credibility
(06:57):
depending on your credit score, like things like that, because
you have to have a good standing obviously, so that
they know that you'll pay the money back, and of
course the business plan has to make sense, they will
grant you like alone. You know, you can also go
to credit unions as well. At banks, interest rates are high,
so just keep that in mind and anywhere you go
(07:17):
you're going to have to pay some type of interest rate.
But those are ways some ways. Again, I wish I
had a little bit more information as far as like
what the business is, so I could be more specific.
But yeah, I'm excited to know a little bit more
about your business. But yeah, maybe you can send us
another voice note and let us know here, but thank
you so much. You made me smile, You made me
feel really good. So think you think you thank you? Okay, guys,
(07:46):
our last question comes from Maira.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
At your keys. This is mine. I hope you're doing well.
Love the podcast. I was wondering if you are in
contact with your father. I know early in the year
you said that you're not in contact with him, that
you guys were kind of distant, but it has that
changed since then? Do you check in with each other
and do your siblings have a relationship with him? Just wondering.
(08:12):
Have a great day.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Hi, Mara, I haven't spoken to my dad in a while.
I want to say. The last time I heard from
him was in March of this year. We facetimed and
when I saw him in prison, all his hair, his beard,
his hair like his on his head was like all
like white. And when I saw him on FaceTime he
(08:36):
had already died it he looked, he looked good. But
I haven't spoken to him. My sister Jackie talks to
him a little more. I think I might have hurt
his feelings, possibly because I was a little too honest
about how I was feeling. So I think he's maybe
a little afraid to contact me, but I think it's better.
(08:58):
I want him to feel free, and obviously he's not.
He is free. He's out there in the world somewhere.
But I kind of healed that where I was, like,
I thought we were going to have some type of
relationship and I'm fine with not having one anymore, just
knowing that he's okay. And I asked my sister, Hey,
how is he, and they have a very good relationship.
(09:20):
We are just not there, like you know, but maybe
in the future. Maybe in the future we will. But
thank you so much for asking. And the holidays are coming,
so maybe I'll send him a message so he feels
a little more comfortable to reach out. But some things
are just meant to stay the way they are, I
think sometimes. But yeah, thank you guys. Thank you for
(09:43):
your questions, Thank you for being here, thank you for listening,
for choosing to listen to Dear Cheeky's. Thank you for
trusting me with advice. It means a lot to me
and I am here. And if you have a question
and you haven't yet sent in your question or left
me a voice note, maybe this is the time. Maybe
(10:06):
you feel a little shy. Maybe you feel a little
I don't know, embarrassed, or you think it's a silly question.
There is no silly question at all. You can ask
me about anything, my personal life, your life, anything. I mean,
I'm here and I love to hear from you, guys,
So leave it at speakpipe dot com, slash, Cheeky's and
Chill podcast. I gotta start a little jingle with that.
(10:27):
That'd be cool, all right, guys, I'll see you on
the next episode.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Love you.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
