Hello, from Yorba Linda, California! Today's not a typical day in my life, but I'm loving every moment of it. I've spent the last few days babysitting, plus I've just finalized the name of my upcoming music showcase and I'm sharing it with you FIRST, right here on Sincerely, Janney.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Dear listener, reporting from your Belinda, California. I am actually
waiting for my niece Genevieve. I am baby sitting right now. Guys.
I haven't done this in a minute, and let me
tell you, I'm loving every second of it. My sister
Jacqueline is out for Hispanic Herritage Month. My other sister, Jenica,

(00:28):
she's out being you know, a young lady in her twenties,
and I'm happy. She's celebrating her best friend's birthday and
they're out in Miami. Jenica is usually the one to
take care of the kids because my schedule is always
like crazy. But I did tell myself this year I
was going to slow it down and I wanted to
spend time with my nieces and nephews and the people

(00:49):
that I love. And I'm so glad that I'm able
to do it. So I love to see that my
sisters are out doing their thing and I'm stepping in
and I love it. The last time I did this
was when Johnny was I don't know, he's now twenty
four going on twenty five, and you know, it's been
a while. So I woke up early today and I

(01:11):
always wake up early, but usually it's for me to
meditate and pray and all that stuff. And I spent
the night at my sister's house, so I am kind
of off of routine, but it's okay. It doesn't bother
me at all because this is worth it. But did
a little prayer, cooked the kid's breakfast, got them ready
for school. I've had them for a few days now,

(01:33):
and then yeah, right now I'm outside waiting for Genevieve,
who is my sister's second daughter. She has four kids.
She has volleyball practice, so I'm waiting for her. And
I just wanted to send you guys a voice. Don't
let you know how my life is going right now.
I thought you'd be interested. And I've had a little
bit of work, thankfully. It's all been quick stuff that

(01:55):
could be taken care of over the phone, for instance,
things for my showcase up November eighth, which I'm really
excited about. I think I finally found the name, and
the name for the showcase is Al mad LUs A
Ceremony of Sound and Soul. That is the name, guys.

(02:15):
No one knows, only you guys. So yeah, I haven't
really announced it, luckman, did That's where it's going to
be at the Luckman in La, but I haven't announced
it officially, and anyway, I was doing that today, so
I'm really excited. It's just crazy because I dropped off
the kids and then an Emilio, well, I Medio okay
with me. So Emedio and I were like, what do
we do now? We went back home and took a nap,

(02:37):
something I'm never able to do, so we were just
chilling for a little bit, took a nap, went to
meet my friend Brianna because she lives out here in
Brea for lunch and her mom. We had sushi, and
then I want to go pick up Jordan and jj
who are the boys, and her boys obviously, and then

(02:57):
we went to the park and Emilia was throwing football
with them, and Ryu, our dog, was running around and
it was cute. Then we took them to go get
something to eat. And now I'm here waiting for Miss
Genevieve to get out of volleyball practice. And then later
on Jayla, the eldest, she has volleyball practice, so she
won't come out until six. So it's just crazy. My respect, honestly,

(03:19):
my respect to all the mothers out there that do
this on a daily basis and have one then I mean,
I'm sure it's already it's hard with one child, but
for mothers and parents that have multiple children, like, honestly,
my respects. I admire you guys so much more. I'm
having a great time, to be honest, I really am.

(03:39):
But this is not my everyday life, you know. And
I think it's easy for moms to forget about themselves
because their day to day revolves around the kids. And
I think that's great. But I just want to tell you, guys,
just take a little time for yourself. I have to
remind my sister every once in a while, Hey, it's okay,
go get your news done, Go take a breather. I
got you. I wish my sister lived closer to us,

(04:00):
because you know, Jennica and I live like freaking three
minutes away from each other. But like I told her, hey,
I want you to remember who Jackie was before becoming
a mom. And yes, you're a mother, and I think
it's a beautiful thing. It's a blessing. It's beautiful. But
also like, don't forget who you are and what you
want and your dreams and your desires as well. In
the mix, and of course the kids are especially before

(04:24):
they turn eighteen or when they're under eighteen, should I
say they are priority? But also you can take some
time for yourself. It's okay. There's nothing wrong with you
doing a little something for yourself, you know. Anyway, guys,
that's my day. And yeah, I'll drop them off at
school tomorrow and from there I'll go to my photo

(04:46):
shoot a million and I have a photo shoot together
for the album cover of my EP coming in November
as well, so I'm super excited about that. And then
their mom will pick them up tomorrow from school. I'm
going to miss them. You've had such a nice time, guys.
We got a slide for them. On Saturday, we were
playing in the pool and joining the last few days
of summer. And then on Sunday we just chilled and

(05:08):
made them breakfast. It was really cute, waffles and eggs
and chocolate milk. And then we got in the pool
all day on Sunday. On Saturday we watched a fight.
I got the days and mixed up. But anyway, that's
what happened this weekend, all right, guys. Well, this is
a very long voice. I think is the longest one.
I've left you, guys, but thank you for listening. I
love you, I appreciate you, and I will catch you soon. Okay,

(05:32):
all right, since the really GENETI
