Hello from one of my favorite places in my home - my kitchen table. Today, I'm sharing a devotional with you because it really spoke to me and inspired me. If you take anything away from today's voice note, let it be this: it is safe for you to love and to be loved.

Sincerely, Janney

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello, my dear listener. Good morning, God, morning, good afternoon, God, tonight,
whatever time that you are listening to this voice. Note
it is a God given moment. So yeah, have you
ever noticed that God is the word good? Because God
is good? Sorry, that's my alarm. I don't know what

(00:26):
the heck just happened, but I'm here sitting at my
kitchen table. Poncho's here with me, and I just finished
my morning prayers and meditation and my devotional said something
very profound and something that I want to share with
you guys. Usually I read my devotionals on Instagram, but
I feel like sometimes people can skip the story, and

(00:48):
if you're here, it's because you're intentionally listening. So I
thought I would be better and of better use to
read it here to you. So it's about love. It's
about not turning away from love. I always say love
is the moving force of the universe, and it really
really is. Love is the answer to everything where there goes.

(01:09):
I don't know if you've heard it, Bless you, babe.
It's a lot happening this morning. That's Emilio sneezing. But anyway,
when they say that there is like the ying and
the yang right. Yes, it's very true. But darkness and
evil is just falter loos. Basically, when it gets dark

(01:34):
in a room, all you have to do is switch
on a light. It's dark in there because you haven't
turned on a candle. You haven't turned on the light.
You get me like So, basically, love is the light
that the world needs. And with time and with more
love and more love, and more love and more love,
evil darkness dissipates. That is what I'm trying to say. Anyway,

(01:55):
let me read this to heal quick and then I'll
break it down. Love makes it wake up in the
morning with a sense of purpose and a flow of
creative ideas. Love floods our nervous system with positive energy,
making us far more attractive to prospective friends and associates.
Love fills us with a powerful charisma, enabling us to

(02:17):
produce new ideas and projects, even within circumstances that seem
to be limited. Love leads us to atone for our
errors and clean up the mess when we've made mistakes.
Love leads us to act with impeccability, integrity, and excellence.
Love leads us to serve, to forgive, and to hope.

(02:41):
So why would we turn away from love? What is
the subconscious resistance to such a powerful force for good?
Why do we fear the very thing that makes our
lives worthwhile? Just asking the question takes us closer to
the answer that which leads us away from love is

(03:02):
never our friend, never true self care, and never from God.
The ego is our own self hatred, merely posing as
our friend. Once we know that, the false friend begins
to lose its power to lure us away from love.
So I think that it already said everything that I

(03:25):
needed to say. But it's basically, why would you turn
away from love? When it brings so much light? When
it brings so much greatness to us, It makes us
better in every way? Sorry, Punt, you need to go puttum.
I think it's definitely one that you have to rewind
and replay because there's so much to hear in this

(03:49):
devotional But I thought about you, guys, and or you
because I'm talking just to you right now, and how
important it is that we choose love and that we
pray for a love based foundation. And I know it
could be hard in a world that can be so

(04:12):
cruel and a world that we see so many things,
especially now with social media, we're exposed to way too much.
We're overstimulated, and that's why it's important to take breaks
sometimes from social media, not from Cheeky's and chill or
dear Cheeky's or since religion, ab this is all love.
This is where you come to grow and to glow.

(04:34):
But sometimes we do need breaks from the world, from
social media to quiet things down and to be able
to listen to the voice within, and that's where God lies.
So I hope this all made sense, and I just
encourage you to love, to be love because when you
give love, when you give love, you receive love. Give love,

(04:55):
to receive love, to be love. It is safe for
you to love and to be loved. And maybe you
won't get the love that you're looking for from certain people,
but perhaps it's because you're not meant to get it
from that person. You're meant to see elsewhere. And I'm
not talking about a relationship, I'm just talking in general.
But that doesn't mean you have to stop loving or

(05:16):
turn away from love because someone hurt you or someone
burned you. Like no, love is eternal, love is infinity.
Love brings nothing but good things. So love, love love
love love, we love love, be a lovable person. Yes,
it is safe. It is safe. It is safe. You
are safe. You are safe. You are safe. Thank you
for listening. Sincerely, Jane
