Oh, Tom Colloquio, host of Citizen Chef. You may know
me as the judge on Top Chef Are maybe as
a restaurant urn chef our political advocate. My favorite new
role is puppy dad. Um. Yeah, we got a new
puppy here at home. Tiki is a She is a
flat coated Retriever and we are just loving her. Last

season a Citizens Chef, we dove deep into topics ranging
from disaster relief and various injustices and hurting our food
system to understand why we eat the way we do.
We did all of this navigating the unexpected health crisis
of the COVID nineteen pandemic and the inequities that the
crisis exposed Since we were together last the country voted

in the new president and a new Congress, and the
world is on the precipice of opening up again. But
many of the same issues persist on our country's dinner tables.
This season, we're gonna dig a little deeper. We're gonna
talk directly to the people who are changing the policies.
We're gonna learn more about the U s d A
and what would they actually do. More and more states

are legalizing cannabis. We're gonna dig into that a little bit,
and we're also gonna look at food as medicine. Certain
doctors are actually prescribing food for their patients. Starting Dismay,
tune into hear from experts on a wide range of
issues that you with your four and year dollars have
the power to change. Topics like racism and workers rights
across the food industry, and how we can best approach

food and security because everybody, well everybody should eat. And
this is just a taste of what's to come. Was
a rough year, but in one we have a chance
to move it forward. We just had a huge election,
but you can still vote with your four we can
rise to the forefront of reshaping our cousystem for the
