Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sorry, that wasn't me. That was like, you know, you
know it's called I think phantom fist. Why did you
have your hand then, well it's not wasn't like my hand.
It was like, you know, like phantom limb. I think
it was like phantom knock. What did it already start?
I mean I was just kind of sort of hearing
him out. He says he has phantom Have you heard
of this? Phantom phantoms? Phantom rist? Thank you? The only

(00:30):
one out of the three of us phantom. There are
I think seven hundred thousand cases a year diagnosed a
phantom fist, and they're all they're all self diagnosed, and
so you know it's right, it's real. Well, I'm so
happy you kind of were afflicted with this disease now
and at my door because it's the big meeting of
all the self diagnosed afflictions. Phantom fist is number one.

(00:52):
Is number one, phantom fist. It sounds like a rock
band or something or dirty dirty you put your hands together.
Is that your pitch is? This is where you're coming
into pitch us. No, but let me write that down,
write that down, and no, I also see your writing that.
Kevin Spacey will host it. No, take his name off

(01:15):
and producing. Look Will. Yeah, I'm going to use this
word again. Gang busters. He's been using it all week. Well,
it is going gangbusters. That's what I just said. That's what,
that's what, and that's what Variety said. Don't fluff up. Hey,
you know what? You know what Variety is also saying.
They're saying there two for two? Can they pull the trifecta?

(01:40):
I don't know. It depends on your big pitch. Do
you know what the Canadian term for a nit cap is?
I should know this soft helmet? No, a nit ski
cap um. Oh, it's not bon bon, that's candy. I

(02:01):
just took. I believe it's croissan. No, I don't think
that's right. It's called a tuk Oh. Interesting, Okay, I'm
I'm liking this so far. It's it's a Canadian educational
Is it about a Canadian woman who makes hats? No,
but it's it's kind of in the the pronunciation area

(02:25):
of this next project. Okay, I'm listening. This show is
called toocked, tucked, apostrophe, took. Yeah, it's a little play
on words past tense, taken, took, coocked. Okay, So like
I took. I took my guz down blood blood glock. Okay, interesting,

(02:47):
I took my athletic greens shipment and put it in
a separate Ramikin so for easy scooping in the morning.
The hell is Ramikin Little Bowl Canadian, Canadian. So what's
this show? Took? Took? Is the creation of Ka Shankar
d r is a young talent. Like all of the

(03:11):
talents so far, I'm really liking this so far, and
she has created a gritty true crime podcast hosted by
Bo Brimley. She believes her husband was kidnapped and murdered
due to his absence for the last forty eight hours,
when in fact, every sign points to the fact that
he left her. Oh this happens to me all the time.

(03:34):
Once a month, I go, where did that guy go?
He must have died, But but then I find out
that he just left. You're just trying to convince yourself
that he he didn't straight up leave you, but the
evidence starts to mount that probably just left. That must
be hard. I've never experienced it. Mm hmm. It seems
like bou Brimley has Wait, what tell us more about Rika?

(03:56):
You guys know, I mean she's a story editor for
NBC's Grand Crew. There's a Comedy Central animated show. She's
a staff writer for which I can't go into. Yeah,
I guess it's yeah, it's it's a top secret for
that um. She was recently was a staff writer for
Hulu's and Amaniac. Love them they're so they're always wild

(04:17):
enough to ship. And of course head writer performer for
College Humors Hardly working series. We love Breakas so much.
I can't wait to hear more about bow Right. That
is a name of a podcaster right there. There's only
what it could be a distant what. I don't know.
You're gonna have to listen to find out. Well, you

(04:38):
are so good at this. You have to listen to
you know, this true crime thing. I'm so happy we're
corner in the market on that because these are huge
podca If you can land one of these big birds,
the big bird, right on the air, right on the
deck of the aircraft carrier, can you say something for me, Yes,
Dan bird, damn bird. And with that, let's listen to Tooked,

(05:05):
A Flash of Light, an angry Fight, no luggage, insight,
my darkest night. I'm Bo Brimley and my husband went
missing a few days ago, so I decided to start
a podcast to get to the bottom of where he
is so my baby can come home. This is Tooked.
Welcome everyone to the first and I hope only episode

(05:29):
of this podcast. Again. I'm Bo and my husband Greg
has been missing, and I just kind of wanted to
talk about it with you guys before we get into it.
It was a dark and a stormy night around half
past eleven, and sure we had just gotten into a fight,
but you know, I didn't think anything of it, like

(05:52):
and crashed. I went to bed. I heard him saying,
I'm not gonna stick around forever. I said, fuck you,
what to bed? Agree? I never do that, that's something
unusual that happened. And fell asleep, kind of jostle away
here and shuffling folding zippers, and I thought, okay, he's
doing late night laundry. There's probably done of jeans, trying

(06:14):
to make sure there's no crumbs in the zippers. Who's
on zipping the so is what he does. And then
I woke up in the morning and I don't know
what happened. He was just gone, um and I tried
to think through all the possibilities. He's milked to the fridge.
We had plenty of non almost too much. Then I
saw his car was missing, all of his clothes, his

(06:38):
wedding ring was left behind, and I thought, oh, my
fucking god, he's been taken and someone took him, and
and it's just I'm reeling and I've tried to contact
the authorities. They say I have to wait a certain
amount of time, and it's just the legal systems. Fox.
They've always said that to my close friends, but now
that I have a platform, I'd like to say it
out loud to my audience. The legal systems. He's messed

(06:58):
up and we have to stop it today. So to
kind of speak to all of this and what it
is like to have a partner go missing. Um, I've
brought on. I guess this is a guest who saw
me crying in the supermarket and came up to me.
I was really kind, and as I was explaining that
my husband was missing, he was actually in a really

(07:20):
similar spot. So I think we're kind of like soul
siblings in that way. So please welcome up Jamie Cardellini. Hey,
thank you, thank you for having me. I was really
concerned when I saw you. You just soaked the whole
box of wheaties with your tears in that aisle, and uh,
you know, I had to say something Jamie that was
really really kind because I had been there, quite honestly,

(07:41):
for like a few hours and not a soul came
up to me, and it was just like absolutely heartbreaking,
and like whets was his favorite thing for dinner, and
it was just like I couldn't I couldn't even look
at the box and it was it was like one
of the athletes he like too. So it's just really paidful. Sorry, bo,
I'm sorry. You know you didn't you didn't mention that

(08:03):
that wheaties was his favorite thing to do it. The
way you put it was that you made sure it
was his favorite thing for dinner. Right. I don't know
if he agreed quite, but sure I understand. Well yeah,
I mean if I'm if he's like, what's for dinner,
I'm like, it's Wheatie's night. I'm assuming that that's fun
and that he likes it. It's it's nice, it's good rough, right, right, Well, yes,

(08:23):
you know, you're right. We had to have a similar circumstances.
I was telling you about my sorry, it's so hard
to brought my head around. But my husband Ramond went missing.
I'm sure you know the drama of finding out he
was leaving job at Disneyland places Donald Duck, the Donald
Duck mascot and that one. Yeah, we actually had a

(08:45):
final call and I still remember. I remember, like yesterday,
you know, he picked, he had to stay. He picked.
I called him up, but it was around six pm,
right when before his CHIF ended, and he said he
had to stay in care because he was still at work.
So the last moment of him I remember is just

(09:05):
him saying he was you know, a kid came over
and he had pro and Donald U bantrooms. He didn't
really sailing an hour and then I never I never did.
I wish we could all hear such last words from

(09:25):
our loved wood. I mean, that is that is beautiful.
That's the thing that he'll probably remember. I should get
like a lock if that says that or something like
that's so appropriate. You yeah, thank you. I have actually
commissioned one, and I went to Tiffany's and um their
writing one out for me. It's hard to spell the roads,
you know, with all the added syllables because he was

(09:47):
doing the Donald Duck boys. But that's what they get
paid to doue. Don't let them tell you otherwise. You
know that's true. So how are you coping? I mean,
it's about the same as you. I mean my husband's
last words chiefs. I mean it is. You know, he said,
I'm not going to stick around forever. And he said
it's sort of like angrily, and I mean, I wish
I had known that that just like your thing of

(10:08):
like see you in an hour. He's like, I'm not
gonna stick around forever. It's isn't working, you know. I
wish I had that was gonna be the last thing
he said. We got an argument. This isn't really a matter,
but we got under an argument and and then I
don't know how I didn't hear someone must have just
broken into the house and taken him and taking all
of his stuff. And like I'm a deep sleeper, but

(10:30):
like fuck, because I feel like it's like my fault.
Sorry taking Also all this stuff was backed and gone
as well. I mean, who's to say if it was packed?
I heard packing. But also sometimes we do laundry late
at night, if you know, tucking into some food or whatever.
And you get a little messy, you put the laundry
in and like so like, yeah, all the cases were gone,

(10:51):
and his farm was gone. All his like books and stuff,
we're gone, and like all all of his work stuff
was spot. This laptop was spot, which is so hard
for me because like he loved working and he was
always out working and um, yeah, it was just really
hard and like they just took everything, and like they

(11:12):
just like took everything and they took him and it's like,
I don't know if you're trying to do some some
perverted thing where they like make a little version of
his house to make him happy where they put him
or something by taking all this stuff. But I mean,
you get it, no, you know. I mean I have
obviously been doing a lot of research into missing persons
after this, after the month, but I gotta say, that's

(11:33):
not a scenario that comes up very often that a
kidnapper makes a little house version of somebody to perversely
torture them. Oh my god, do you think this is
the first case? Uh? But but I want to be
delicate about this, but it sounds like you guys had
an argument and maybe he was feeling like he wanted
to get out. His last words were quite specifically, he's

(11:54):
not going to be around forever. Um, is it possible, Oh,
is it possible that it's a you know, it's possibly left? No, well,
he definitely, I mean, for sure he was taken. He
loves Oh. I get that. But are you suggested that

(12:14):
he did it on purpose? It's not my place to say, really,
but I just want to point out that Gramont went missing. Missing.
You know, I call the police and all of his
stuff was still very much at our place. Okay, Well,
not to be feisty, but like, okay, it sounds like
when you were doing that Donald Duck boys, he sounded

(12:36):
pretty agitated too, like maybe you guys were in a
fight or something. Maybe he left you. So no, no,
he was not. He was not agitated. He was doing
the Donald Duck tantrum for the children that were nearby,
in order to for the child. What if there were
no children, what if he was like on his why
why would he have a genuine tantrum and Donald Druck voice?
If he was actually upset with me, he wouldn't do
a Donald Duck tantraum. He would just have a tant

(12:59):
I don't aim to know Raman and I never have.
I don't know if that's just a thing that he
does or something. It's not okay. If anything, I'm the
one who helped support him learning all the various Disney
mascots that he had to play over the years. Alright,
he ran them all by me multiple times. Oh wow, Okay, Well,
so you think you're better than me because your partner

(13:20):
knows all this stuff. Well what what kind of mascots
did you help him with? Because my husband I had
a pretty supportive relationship too. What did you help him how?
I helped them learn how to do Steamboat Mickey? Okay,
that's pretty good. Okay, what are the other Disney characters?
I helped him do the Chipmunks? I help him learn
how to do chipmunk voice naturally raising his register. You know.

(13:44):
So it's like that was really good. It's so crazy
because I think they just speed up regular voices to
do those characters. But you are right, someone on how
like freaking learn that if they were the live version
of Alvin or something. Yeah, I don't know how to

(14:05):
make your voice very high pitched. Look, I'm sorry, I
don't mean to. It's okay. We both said things and
then you said things you didn't mean. So it's okay,
it's okay, So I got it. It's just we're both stressed.
You know, when when someone's gone and you don't you
don't know, if they're screaming for you and you can't
even hear them, it's hard, you know, you just want

(14:28):
so desperately to to know they're okay and bring them
home safely, you know. Sure, Now I don't want to
bring this up again, but at the grocery store, I
did notice you were looking at your phone and you
did get a text from your husband that said bye,
said goodbye, right right, Well, yeah, I got that text,

(14:50):
but that was like so like that text was from
earlier and I was looking at it. It was from
earlier that morning, so it wasn't super since so there's
no way to really know what that was sort of
connect you and like it could honestly, honestly, what's fun?
What's fun? Okay? I've always told him this, his his
stupid past quote in his phone is too easy to guess.

(15:13):
It's eight four one two, it's way too easy to guess.
That would be like the first thing I literally guessed.
So my thought also, I first saw, Oh my god,
did gart just sextod bye? Why would he do that?
He's been kidnapped? And then I was like, oh, my
funking god, kidnappers got into his phone and are pretending
to be right. Sure, absolutely, okay? Hearing me fall out better? Okay?

(15:37):
Can I ask? I always love, especially since Grig went
missing around twenty four hours ago. I was love hearing
like proposal stories. It was a mute you know, we
both planned to propose to each other at the same
time and didn't even know it. It was incredible. We
were at Disneyland and we were in front of the

(15:58):
Magic Castle. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I get down one
knee and Ramand has done on one knee at the
same time. And I started to say Ramon, and he
says because he's still the character obviously, because he's at work.
And I say, Ramon, I've known you for the longest
time and always loved you, and he said, and I say,

(16:23):
I want you to be demand of my dreams. And
I put a ring on his big handwing and he
gives me a regular human ring. A bunch of children
around us are crying in their parents last because they're
so confused about what's going on. You know what, why
is Donald Duck fraternizing with a human being in the
first part. I'm sure they'd be really scared for days.

(16:44):
Did Yeah, yeah, we did. He actually gotten a lot
of he got I got him in a lot of
trouble for it, which was unfortunately. So it actually ended
quite sadly the proposal story. We were reprimanded by Michael
Eisner at the time. This was many years ago that
the proposed will happened. Yeah, so it was actually a hard,
sad story. But I didn't mean to make this sad.

(17:04):
It's just Oh, it's okay, it's okay. That was a
beautiful story. Can I ask you about your proposal story? Yeah,
so we were at the mall and um, we're at

(17:29):
um onions. Do you have those onions? And the problem?
Oh yes, I'm sorry, yes, yes, yes, I'm again. I'm
so used to hearing Donald Duck voice this stuff that.
Oh no, I totally get it. You're having a code switch.
I got it. We were at an audience and you
can order off the menu there, so I ordered a

(17:50):
hol your thing. They don't like to make it, but
they'll do it. So I was doing that and I
said you should get married. I was like, what the
It was like, come on, let's get married. And it
kind of similar to your story. We kind of argued
about it for like thirty five minutes and then he
agreed and it was this beautiful moment. And that's honestly

(18:12):
about how long it takes him to make the halopenia proctually.
Really don't like doing it. So by the time, you know,
by the time I said please, it was ready and
uh we shared that halopenia pretzel. We were officially engaged.
It was It's the best day of my life. Wow.
That is a that is a happy story. I just
want to point out, just for continuity, sick, since we're

(18:35):
on the record here, that's not that's not similar to
how it might happen at all. But but that's nice.
That's a nice story. Okay. I mean, I guess we
all view your magic moments as special and unique. But
you know, it's a it's all proposals, right. It just
sounds like a big part of your guy's relationship was
was arguments. Oh my god, if you can't argue with

(18:57):
your partner, than are you even been a relationship? You know,
breakfast lunch in our snacks, were arguing all day. Now,
let me ask you something that might be a sticky question.
How has your relationship been with law enforcement during this time?
Getting them to answer your calls, tracked down your husband.

(19:21):
They were quite helpful, actually, especially right away. You know,
they immediately filed uh an f I R. And they
sent out a search party and stuff. It's been They've
been quite nice so far. Obviously it's been a harrowing time,
but I think they're they're really on the ball, you know,
which is nice. They really take these cases seriously and
the moment they see the merit and it they attack

(19:42):
at full of por So hats off to them, wouldn't
you agree? What neighborhood do you live in? Uh Anaheim,
right near Disneyland? Yeah, okay, I love katting her there.
We must have different people, because my law enforcement are
a bunch of whole home bags of crap. They're not
doing anything for me. I'm calling, I'm calling, They're giving

(20:04):
me lip let me show you. Okay. So I've got
this detective assigned to my case, Detective Molins, right, oh,
Detective Mullins. Yeah, he's the best, you know him? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he helped out as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Initially it
was mainly the Disney police that were helping out, and
then they were like, you should reach out to more
of the city. Okay. I don't want to play this card,

(20:26):
but this is definitely a Disney and not Disney person thing, okay,
where they help out the Disney heads more than they
help out the regular civilians or something. Because this man
does not give me the time, I'm gonna call this man. Okay,
this is absolutely periodic. This Mullins. Oh high, Detective Mollins,

(20:51):
I'm doing air quotes. This is Bo Brimley again for
the third time or tenth time today. Yeah, Mrs Real.
They have to stop calling me, please, I'll stop calling you.
Would you give my freaking case the time of day
like you did to my friend Jamie CARTERLINI over here,
Oh it's Mr CARTERLINI there. Yes, hey, Mr CARTERLINI. It's

(21:15):
a pleasure hearing you. I feel like we're off the clock,
so to speak. It's a little fun. Yeah, that's kind
of nice. Good. Yeah, we're doing everything we can. Thank you.
Stop having this little brother kiss fast. Okay, I don't
want to hear any of this. You're helping him find
his husband ramant, and meanwhile I'm getting ghost crickets. I've

(21:39):
told you several times, it was Frimley, that your case
is not a missing person's case. Do you think it's
a murder? No, it's open shut. Your husband left yet
who's opening who? Who opened it? You've opened, I'm closing.
I didn't open this a kidnapp or open our door

(21:59):
into I think we're ultimately saying the same thing. Somebody
came into my house and robbed me of my husband,
just like somebody came into Mr Cardalini's Donald Duck costume
and robbed him of himself. Right, we're not saying any
of the same words at all. Ever, your husband, after

(22:20):
an altercation, got in his car with his It was
a fight, not an altercation, so be precise. Language is
actually powerful. Excuse me, a fight and drove away from
you and your home. Okay, Wow, it's over. Ms. Brimley, Wow, Okay,
it's not a true love like the Cardlini's I'll say that,
thank you. Wow. Okay, Okay. How is Jamie's case more

(22:45):
legitimate than mine? Huh oh, it's very forty eight hours.
There's no no contact. There's very clearly signs of a struggle.
We've been investigating a lot of the Disney gangs, of course,
you know the Disney gangs, and knew he was getting
into some bad stuff. He was in debt to the
Space Mountain crew, so I know there's something full happen
over there. We're looking into the making machine guns, We're

(23:06):
looking into the goof troop, you know, all the gangs
over there. You know. I wish I could get my
hands in there a little more. I'm just not allowed
at Disneyland anymore. Oh why are you not allowed at Disney?
My son vandalized the Hall of Presidents? What did he do?
He pooped on Millard Fillmore? That feels like it should

(23:26):
be Okay? Am I crazy? I don't know he ates them.
I don't know why that feels fine to me. It's
not like one of the guys. He's up there though,
he's got a spot, you know, and there pretty sanctimonious
about it. You know. They gave us a lot of
guff so I can't go in there, you know. But
we're tracking these gangs outside. Do you have like a

(23:46):
yelp or is that only for restaurants? Yeah? Restaurants and
other places like stations and stuff. I guess. Okay, well,
if you have some sort of web page, please email
it to me or mail it to me, because I
would like to write a review for you. And it
will be bad because you are clearly showing classic Disney bias. Okayney,
it's propaganda and it's worst. Clearly that's buies because you're

(24:10):
showing Disney bias and Mr Cardilini by taking his case
more seriously than my case, which is almost exactly the same.
So I will be filing something with somebody sometime soon.
Detective mullins, Okay, you do that, Miss Brimley, And in
the meantime, I'm gonna be working hard on the Cardilini case. Wow.
This is classic, classic, classic story where non Disney hands

(24:34):
have to advocate for themselves because law enforcement and people
don't believe them. So you know what, if I got
to find my husband's single handedly, that's fine. Okay, that's fine.
And if any of you guys listening out there see
my husband, Greg Brimley, you help me bring him home.
Bring him home, no matter how you have to. You
can pull him by the shirt, you can put a
bunch of wheaties on a stick and see if he

(24:56):
comes and follows that, bring my Greg home. Okay, Yeah,
I want to emphasize the word single handedly that you
mentioned there, because that means you will stop calling me. Correct.
I will call you as often as I want and
whatever time I want. Okay, you do that? Yeah, sure,
I will show up at your house. I will show

(25:18):
up at your birthday. I will show up at a funeral.
You don't know where my birthday is. My wife doesn't
even know what my birthday is. Is sad. I know
I'm not in a healthy relationship, which is why I
want these card leads to get back together. We all
love Thank you. Wow, I think that relationship sounds fucked up, honestly, sorry,

(25:41):
it occurs my relationship. Yeah, what do you mean it
sounds you The entirety of your relationship with your husband
has been a string of the arguments you told me.
I'm looking at the print outs of text messages you
have on this usual suspects while of yours. Literally all
it is is you saying you have a weird shape penis,
over and over to your husband. No wonder you left.

(26:02):
Literally everybody knows that, but you didn't even ask me
what shape it was. Okay, you want to ask, Yeah,
I'm curious. A star hew like like you're piping rose
into hot oil. No, I freaking wish. I'm talking five points.

(26:24):
Like picture a pen in a school store that has
a star on top, so the head of it is point,
it's a star. And then I get the flat we're
not conceiving kids. Oh well, the w it's always a
woman's fault, just because she says, oh, you're a disgusting dick. Alright,

(26:46):
I'm sorry I brought it up. Yeah, yeah, so maybe
you'll think next time before you come out, I mean
making fun of my husband who's missing. Okay, well before
I hang up on you, Mr Carlin. It's actually fortuitous
because we've had a break. Oh my god, we found
a feather, a tail feather? Are you shirt snuck? Gregs

(27:07):
Greg sometimes more boas And we've triangulated the space the
area of Anaheim where we believe he may be hidden.
Oh my god, we have our best men on it.
We're sending the dogs out. It's leghornscrew, it's fun on
legos grew. Yeah, WB got in on this and they're
coming over. That's it's a it's an indoor park rivalry,

(27:30):
and there are there two men that they captured because
fog one is huge. So I don't know if you
could pick up two man. No, no, there's no evidence
of two Okay, okay, I had some information for you
that to help track it down. Loans. A couple of
weeks ago, I saw him at home and I could
