So that was the game where I was like I
learned how to tap into that that thing.

What are your expectation for this season?

Man? National Championship?

I've been so close Elite National championship my first year,
Elite eight, Elite eight again, Like I'm sick of the
early eight, Like you know what I'm saying, Like I'm
over it.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
You do realize, like when you have success early and
you thinking for granted, you think it's just easy. You think,
well fresh, but we we don'et want the natty, you're like,
oh mane.

And then exactly, and then I learned, like it's not
about you, It's about who is around you. It's about
your supporting cast, it's about about their mentality.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
So I had to start, Okay, if.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I'm gonna be the leader, how am I gonna lead?
And that's my mindset going into this year, Like my
teammates like they'll see a whole nother version.

Of me next year, Like how do I want to leave?

Like, how do I want my soldiers standing beside me
to be like you know what I'm saying?

So you set that standard.

So I definitely want to win a national championship and
I want to be like I want to be in
the consideration for a No More pick because I feel
like I've been working hard every year. You see I'm
going up. I'm going up in every category. I become
more skilled. My playmaking is developed at all time high,
and I'm ready to showcase that because I've been working.

I'm gonna keep working.

But when November coming and it's gonna be trying to
showcase that, I'm gonna be ready.

Well you know, uh LSU's had some Player of the
Year or some mon augustas I think with the CC
Player of the Year, right, you want that trophy on
your mantle.

Man, I got all the other ones. I got a
Freshman of the Year, I got second team, now I
got first team.

So if that's what it comes to that, yeah, that's.

What you know. It's probably gonna take that for you
to be you know, you want to be the No.
One overall picking the WNBA. You probably like to get that.

to go national, like I'm not.

It's just about your time and it's about what you

So it seems like like the last like four or
five years, three to four years, like the women's game
has been bigger than the WNBA. Yeah, David, I mean
when Caitlan and they got Juju, you know, Paige Beckers,
Caitlin Angel. I mean, it seems like those wins and

the thing is now is that those women had a
fan base, and their fan base is following them to
the w NBA.

That's the beautiful part seeing it, seeing it go, you
know what I'm saying, Not seeing it whither away, not

I'm going my favorite player, yes you know the new team.

over time. It's creating leagues for high school girls to develop,

You do real lives up. You're gonna make less money

communicate with your partners, you try to be as professional
as you can be. Because the bag don't stop unless

I have a platform, I have a brand, and I'm
trying to keep doing his music.

It's just beautiful horizons, you know, beautiful things on horizon.
I'm probably gonna take that my salary, and you know

with my salary. I might get some old land or something,

have your business together.

You seem to be a student of the game. You
see that areas that I'm defiiching in and I need
to pick up this and I now I see why
she was Player of the Year. Now I see why

And that's why as athlete, you always have to have
a learning mind, Like you can't be too high up

was like my mom really pushing through. I always tell
me all I want to do this, I want to
do that, I want to give back I want but
she made sure that I follow through because I'm working
every day. But my mama, man, she the brains behind it.

What have you learned about money? Because you said, now
that you know you are who you are, You're an
elite ladies basketball player, collegiate basketball player, you have nil,
you have your rapper and you do your gigs. So
what have what have Flage learned most about money?

Money brings good and bad attention.

I feel like they'd be like the money change you,
but it don't really change you, like it you really
change a lot of people how.

They view you, you know what I'm saying. And I'm
starting to learn it because I'm such a giver.

Yes, I'm such a giver and there are so many takers.

My mom had to monitor my accounts, like stop paying.
She cut my checks and half, like cause she paid
me through my business and she cut my checks and half.

She's like, you're giving away this money. I know you are.

She had to get off on everybody like don't call
flage through the season and all of this, and it's
just like I learned that people don't have no limits
on what.

They need, Like you know, that's why you have to
put limits on what you give, because takers are never
put limit on what they take. So you have to
be that stop gap. You have to be that roadblock.
This is it.

It's hard to say no too, but I'd be thinking, like, bro,
nobody ran these miles with me and nobody was in
here four hours a day. But it's hard, bro, It's
hard for real because you feel like guilt a little bit.
You ever feel like guilt for making it like you

Saying, Yeah you do. I mean I think that you
said you're the one that ran the miles. I think
the thing is is that like for me obviously, and
then you start thinking like, Okay, we're in a very
similar situation. There were young ladies that went to the
same high school that had the same opportunity. Did they

do what I do? Did they get up? Were they disciplined,
did they deny themselves? Did they were you know, were
they as dedicated as I was? I mean, obviously, each
situation is different. You someone might have had that exact
same situation with just as discipline, just as motivated, just
as determined, but they didn't have dominique. M This dropped

a bar me. There are guys that had the same situation,
but they didn't have a married porter. So now, but
you still have to like, Okay, I want to help people,
but I can't save the world, even one person at
a time.

That's why I be saying, I just want to do
better and try to be the best human I could be.
And when I have kids and I started my family,
raise my kids to be better, because that's.

try to raise good kids and have them poor into
the world.
