Girl? Non stop?
Speaker 5 (00:54):
My babies just got back from camp to the boys.
Just got back from sleep away camp safely and sound,
so that was good. Asada husban home. She just got
back from la visiting her friend that was her roommate
back in the dorm at IMG and I just returned
(01:15):
back from being away in the mountains. A friend of
mine was like come through relax and get recalibrated because
I realized I haven't rested and really took some time
of solitude and quiet and just relaxation, and really over
eighteen months, and since I just finished school and was
(01:36):
in the restaurant and we were filming and just lots
of things going on with just with life, it was
good timing to like really just unplug and really just
like tap into like myself and really just.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Have a good time.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
So it was just beautiful to be out in nature
and have some cooler weather and relax and just really
just be just be still.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
It's really a blessing to do beautiful.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
That sounds yeah, we rest is definitely needed. It is
actually us, mamas. We definitely need to make sure we
schedule our rest time just like we schedule everything else
for everybody else.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
So correct, good for you, Booth, That's what. Well.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I just got back from Essence Festival. So it's my
very first time going to Sence Festival, and I'm kind
of mad at myself because why was I not going
all these other years?
Speaker 4 (02:31):
All these years I've been here. If I talk about
best inspest and I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna go.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
I'm gonna go, and girl, the Essence fest is amazing,
Like why was I not there?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, you know, it's a good it's good timing for everything.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
So I actually got booked to speak on a panel
at s and Spest, so absolutely everything. I definitely, you know,
want to be more intentional about about where I am,
you know, the places that I take time away from
my children from and I definitely feel like this experience
was worse worth it. I got to take my mom
(03:09):
with me, so that was cool. I know she was
like really proud to see her baby girl up on
the stage, just to be you know, in a festival
that celebrates black women. That's the ways you know black culture,
you know, music and business. I mean the energy at
as Inspest is it's just top match and it was
(03:33):
a great time. I really enjoyed myself. I hope I
get to go back again, and I hope I get
to you know, do more things like panelists and hosting
that I'm definitely leaning into.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
That, you know.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
So it was just an overall a great experience. I
will say I am tired of sell because people in
New Orleans, they don't go to sleep, honey, the concert.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
We did, we did, we did.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
We did figure that out when we were up there
in February.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Girl, it was just like a Super Bowl thing. No,
that's like their everyday thing, Honey. The concert every night
didn't until three o'clock in the morning.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
The I we're just still coming out. I was just like.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
The fire Marshal ne gonna kick us out, no turn
like the people just kept coming out. Master he brought
on about fifty eleven thousand people on stage for him.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
I mean, it was it was a good ass time.
It was a good ass time.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I love that. What was the panels? Were you? What
segment or a panel?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Were the panel that I did is they have a
bunch of panels. Honestly, there's something for everybody there. The
panel that I did was for the Essence main stage,
and our conversation was about the impact of reality TV.
I was on there with another young lady from Love
and Marriage Huntsville and our moderate Shelby. She's an Essence editor.
(05:03):
She just basically asked us a lot of questions just
in relation to obviously reality TV. You know, what did
we take from it? You know, how were we able
to build our brand from it? What are the pros
and cons? How did you, you know, decide if you
wanted to be on there or not? So it was
just you know, a cute little conversation, nothing too serious.
(05:24):
It was just fun to like show our faces and
get some like behind the scenes you know details about
you know, being on reality TV.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
So yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah girl, So I definitely want to go back, Definitely
want to you know, talk about some other things.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
But yeah, and hopefully I'll be back in twenty twenty six.
I know that.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Got to speak it, gotta speak.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
It, yeah girl, absolutely, So before we well, actually let's
get into tonight's episode. It's going to be a good one, y'all.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
First of all, cheating through the notes app it's the
sneakiest trend yet. Have you heard about cheating through the
notes at Alexis?
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Just recently for prepping mol I've been unplugged, so you know,
it's just I'm catching up. So what's been happening the happenings?
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah, man, I think I get a post about it.
But I guess people are literally like doing the most
these days. They're getting very creative when they trying to
cheat out here. Cheating in twenty twenty five has officially
entered its ninja era. Forget about the dms and hidden apps.
People are now using the iPhone notes.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
App to cheat.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
It's silent, sneaky, and leaves no traits unless you go
looking for. With the shared note feature, two people can
carry on a private convo with no texts, alerts, or screenshots,
just quiet betrayal and plain sight and trust us. People
are getting creative. So have y'all ever found have you
ever found something suspicious?
Speaker 4 (07:02):
And someone's no, as.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
I have found something suspicious in a shared the shared notes,
but it's only because it was like a contract or
something like pages, So it wasn't really like and suspicious,
meaning like you should take out the name. So I
thought that was you know, like yeah, I shouldn't be
seeing that, you.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
So it wasn't really suspicious, like oh, like whatever. It's
just like the privacy thing. You have to remember you
have to turn it off. It's like a Google doc.
You know, you have to unlock it or lock it
to where you have to decide who you're sharing it
with too. I know I have sent notes to people
and not to be sneaky, but just like to collaborate
(07:44):
with that's what it's for. And then they make their
notes and you have to be careful because you can speak.
You know, you could do speak your notes too, so
like that can pick up conversations and things like that.
You can add pictures, you can you know, it's a
that you can do. Now, if we're stooping to that,
to where you're cheating, I don't want it, you know
(08:06):
what I mean. I think it's you're starting to just
really be very creative, which is taking away time. And
so if you've got to sneak through notes, apps in
all these other ways you know of communication, that's another
way of distress. So you know, to me, everyone's gonna
find some fault in something, you know, especially if you're
(08:28):
already thinking like I need to cheat and not always
I need to cover it up or I need to
like make it look like it's something that's not Those
are already like telltale signs that you're not in a
you know, it's a red flag.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
It's you're not in a stable situation.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
So it's unfortunate now that people have to like look
at their notes. But I don't want it if you've
got to be doing all that right, that's that's not
what it's for.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I mean, to be dating somebody and have to worry
about their notes now is insane. I mean I feel like,
you know, at some point when you're dating, especially when
you're young, like you, you have insecurities. Everybody has insecurities.
Everybody is like at some point looks over like, oh,
who they text in?
Speaker 4 (09:11):
Or who are they DM in? Or you know, who's
page are they stalking?
Speaker 2 (09:15):
You know.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
I feel like we all have had that feeling, you
know what I mean. But I think gets to the
point where I'm nervous about the notes. Honey. I just
feel like that's a lot of energy.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
You know, that's a lot of energy to you know,
like you said, waste on you know, worrying and checking
because you know people are going.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
To do what they want to do anyway. You've got
to just let them. But it's technology. It's crazy how technology.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
You know, we love technology, but it can be a
gift and a curse at the same time.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
I actually saw.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Another post too recently where a guy and a girl.
The guy was sharing his screen to their TV and
they were like listening to music or something, and he
got off and went to the bathroom and he's texting
another girl and he forgot his damn phone.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Was Oh he's screen sharing, Yes, he was.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Screen sharing with his TV set, a girl just sitting
on a couch reading him, reading the text to Keisha.
He talking about what you got on and cannot come
see you and all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Y'all.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I'm just like, how is gonna be smart and stupid
at the same time, because you clearly you know how
to use your phone, good you spring sharing and all that,
but then you stupid because you forgot to turn it
off before you went in the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Y'all. People just really be doing the most honestly and
just so sloppy. What the hell?
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, no, that's not that's not what we're doing.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
So is this smarter cheating or is it just a
digital version of the same mess.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
Well, it's a digital deceit That's what it is. At
the end of the day. It's just being deceitful. Because
whatever you wouldn't do in front of your part to
me is considered cheating.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
And if you're not going to.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
Talk about it and they don't know who you are
and you're this totally different person behind their backs, then Yeah, no,
it's not good.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
It's a red flag. I don't like it.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
That was my next question. So if you saw your
partner using.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
The notes app to talk to someone intimately, would you
consider that full blown cheating or is that just you know,
them being a little deceitful.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
It's very much deceitful because now it's like, Okay, I
didn't know this was a form of communication for you
and this other person. So now it's a conversation that
has to be had. And why is it that you
know now you're collaborating on notes because it's like, you know,
it's connects to your it's another way of like text
messaging and another way of you know, emails or involved
(11:46):
personal information. So yeah, I just think I would want to.
I wouldn't like it now.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
I just know it's.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
Sneaky, and I just that's one thing I try to
avoid it in dating in general, like really have to
know who you're dealing with. And the beautiful blessing is
I get to decide, you know, what I'm going to
tolerate and well, who I want to be with, and
if they already have these signs in a friendship dating period,
I don't want.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
It yeah, yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I think you know, if I was to find out,
you know, somebody I was dating was using the notes
app to cheat, I would just feel like.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
You're trying to really get over on me, you know.
And it doesn't even matter what the conversation is. It's
just the fact that.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
You went beyond like using the regular texts, using regular
you know, forms of communication. You going out your way
to like be sneaky to me, is like it makes
it ten times worse because it's like really didn't want
me to see your true colors, you know, like you're
really going out your way to be a deceitful person.
And I think that makes it ten times worse because
(12:58):
like what else would you do to be deceitful?
Speaker 4 (13:01):
What else? What am I not seeing? You know? So
I feel like it kind of makes it worse in
my opinion.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
It's it's like you not only are you know, being deceitful,
you going out your way, you being creative with it,
you really taking your time to make sure I don't
see this.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
So yeah, and you can delete, you know.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
It's just a lot because it's interesting because we use
the app for my mom. My mom has a collaborative
with my sister and I with all her pertinent information.
So it's like I always get an alert too when
she upstates, up, updates it.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Yeah you know.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
So it's just like it's it's it's too much.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Yeah that's not good. I love it. So I got
a bonus te drop.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
One woman found a shared note between her boyfriend and
another woman where they rated all the girls they were
sleeping with, including her.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Now, what the hell see what I'm saying? Them notes?
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Why are y'all ray and girls y'all sleeping with?
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Like?
Speaker 4 (14:05):
What is this conversation? Can you imagine opening up?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
Because it's a recurring it's a recurring note, so they
can add to it and delete from it. So now
that's the new, I guess, group chat way of collaborating.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Ure collaborating on clout.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Right, I'm not in these streets, no, honey. Two thousand
and nine.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Well that's why I'm ready to get back. Not in
these streets, so I can like that was.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
The one crazy out here.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Okay, it's something new, it's something else, you know, it's.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Just yeah, it's a d mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
All right, let's move on to our second segment. You've
got this one all right.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
The second segment we have is Nicki Minaj versus jay
Z Royalty Royal Royalty royalties in silent beef.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Nicki Minaj didn't stand quiet anymore.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
After years of speculation and behind the scenes tension. She's
made it known that jay Z, yes the business mogul himself,
owes her money, whether it's royalties, bad contracts, or unreleased collaborations.
She's sped up while jasay silent. Nicki's subbly airing grievances
and lyrics and social media and fans are split. Is
(15:26):
she's speaking her truth or burning bridges? So let's start
the questions off with this. Should Niki have aired this
publicly or handled it behind closed doors?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
You know, I love Nikki because she is a fellow Sagittarius, okay,
And I'm a sag so I understand my goods this okay,
and I feel like we are very much the same
when we have an issue with something or someone with
business whatever, I feel like.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
You know, she comes off. She's a very strong woman.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
She's always talked about how her personality, you know, when
it comes to business, they call her a bitch because
she knows what she wants.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
She demands respect.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
You know, she's just very much a businesswoman and she
takes no shit from nobody, right, So I feel like
if it gets.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
To a point where she has to say.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Something in public, where she has to voice her grievances
or whatever it is, if she has to do it
in a way that's like outlandish or not business like
or whatever, I feel like they took her to that point,
you know what I mean. I feel like she's a
smart business woman, so we don't know like what she's
already done behind closed doors.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
We don't know what's been done to her behind closed doors.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
And you know, somebody like jay Z and Rock Nation,
they are like up here, They're like, can't anybody touch them?
Speaker 4 (16:53):
You know what I mean? And I feel like nowadays.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
The way that you can touch these big, you know,
giants in the industry is through social media, And I
get it. Sometimes you got to take it there, you
know what I mean. I think, especially when it comes
to like your money, her royalties, I think you have
every right to speak on that. You know, it may
not be politically correct, but again, this is not a
(17:19):
politically correct industry anyway.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Like that's not how this industry normally works. Anyway. And
I think because she's a female, she.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Gets more backlash for anything that she does or says.
You know.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
I feel like we've seen.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
You know, even jay Z, We've seen him go through
stuff in the media and they shut it down like
that and it's nothing, you know, nobody touches him.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
But I feel like the moment that Nikki says something,
people just eat her up. They eat her up.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
So I mean, I don't think I don't see anything
wrong personally with her, you know, coming out with what
her issue. You know, maybe she feels like this is
what she needs to do with this moment in time
to maybe move.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Forward and get some progress with this issue that you haven't.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Understand that I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
I feel like being in that space of creativity anyway,
in how she can switch on and off her octaves
and tones and very much in her creative space.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Just we've just seen it all from her.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
So if this is her way of, you know, expressing
herself not only creative creatively, but just verbally, then I
receive it in its own way, because that's that's the
best way to get anyone's attention is through the media.
And if you have a platform music and obviously she
has a following, and so the barbs, and aren't they
(18:50):
the ARBs. I feel like that she's rallying them up
to like get behind her. And then here we are
talking about it. So whatever it is, I don't know
details on everything that what was said, but I mean,
now now we're talking about it, and now it's awareness.
So she definitely made a point and now we're it's
(19:13):
been spoken about. Yeah, so it worked espectually, I'm not mad.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
At Yeah it worked.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Do female rappers get the same mentorship or protection as
the male counterparts?
Speaker 1 (19:32):
I think if they're a threat, I feel like they don't.
Or even if they're not a threat, I think I
feel like males in the industry will place the female
rapper where they want them to be, you know, at
the time, Like I.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Feel like.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
I feel like and just not just not just with rap,
but I feel like the men in the industry still
want to have control on how popular and who's popular
when it comes to like the females and if they're
going to let them, you know, like how Drake put
on sexy red and ice spice, you know, I feel
(20:11):
like that was him saying like, Okay, I'm co signing
them so you know, we'll let them be hot. And honestly, truthfully,
I don't think they're the most talented, you know artists,
but because he stepped in and co signed them, it's like, Okay,
we're gonna let her shine. We're gonna let her shine,
Whereas there might be some other artists who are way better,
(20:34):
but maybe they don't want them to outshine the male artists.
So I feel like there's like a control thing that happens.
But I feel like, you know, women always and no
matter what the industry is, we always have to fight
for the little bit that we get. So I feel
(20:55):
Nikki right now she's fighting for it because that's what
we've always had to do.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeah, I get I get that. I agree with you
just always have to fight. Yeah, it just it just
comes with it because it is.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
I feel like the rap culture has always been a
very masculine, you know profession and now with the influx
of female rappers, you know, the discussion gets, well, they're
they're over sexy or they're over this, they're over that,
and well they have to be ultra feminine. You know.
It's they're going against this beast that has been really
(21:32):
over time objectifying them and bringing them down, so for
them to stand up and really show who they are
and show their like, you know, we're not going to
back down, and we have a voice and we're here too.
I just think it's been a bonus for them, for
the female rappers the lyricists to really have their own
(21:53):
protection through their voices and really standing together, because I
noticed that a lot of them do stand together because
they are the minority, and they are, but they're also
the exception, you know, because we love to see it.
I love female rappers, you know. It's just it's just
about them getting their shine and really being supportive of
(22:15):
one another. So they have to represent us, you know.
They say what we think and how we feel.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Yeah, but yeah, I don't think they get as much
protection obviously as the male men do. That's just because
it's just how it's always been. Unfortunately.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Yeah mm hmm, yeah, let me see.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
Yes, yes, well, the industry even survive without the women
it constantly underpays.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
We think about that.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
I said, what it says, what the industry even survive
without the women it constantly underpays?
Speaker 4 (22:57):
You think, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I mean I would say no, yeah, because right now
I can't even imagine the rap game without the women.
The women aren't really leading the game right now, to
be honest with you.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
So yeah, absolutely not.
Speaker 6 (23:21):
We got Megan, we got I mean, we got a
lot of people, We got a lot of rappers that
females really out here killing it on our whole tours
and everything.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
So yeah, yeah, well maybe it's a shift.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Here we go. Maybe here we go. Yeah, okay, yep,
moving on.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
All right, So moving on to segment three, Trump Elon
in the Epstein files. What are they hiding? We're living
in an episode of Succession in Black Mirror. I love
both those shows, by the.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Way, Yeah they're both good.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Elon Musk is demanding Trump release file tied to Jeffrey Epstein,
shortly after the DOJ and FBI claimed there is no
secret client list. This bombshell report has the Internet and
a frenzy, with many believing that elites are protecting each other. Meanwhile,
Elon and Trump are beefing publicly like two missy ants
(24:25):
on Facebook. So do you believe the DOJ when they
say there's no client list or blackmle scheme?
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Absolutely not, really, they really just gased likeness in our face.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
We know there's an Epstein file, we know who's in it,
and you know, it's unfortunate that they really gaslight us.
But at this time, this is July, this is d
month seven, and so much has happened, and every single
thing that the President has said he's going to do,
he's been doing and executing. So I just look at
(25:05):
it like this, like nothing is coming to a surprise anymore.
It's almost numbing in a way, just because you're just like, well,
here we go. And then if you you know, read
the Bible and you in tune with that too, then
you're just like, well, this is a sign.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Here we go, you know.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
So it's just it's just a lot, you know, it's
just so many layers to this, and I don't even
hope my breath anymore. I'm just here living my best
life because the way we are just going through it,
we were in a potential World War three going on,
and we were just nuclear talks, and you know, the
(25:43):
Epstein files, that's a whole nother beast. And the way
that you know, Trump pardons people and pardons itself and
has new rules and all these other things. It's just
turned into really a complete shit show of just like,
let me show you what I can do. You know,
it's just act after act after act. It's just no surprise,
(26:06):
it's no shock. I just am just like, what else
is next? You know, what else is next? We have
Alligator Alcatraz right here in the Everglades where it's a
detainee camp. It's harsh conditions, I'm sure you know. It's
just it's just out of control. They're picking up parents
at kids graduations and schools, and we have so many
(26:29):
other things that we should be dealing, you know, thinking
about like floodings and all these things, and schools and
what the kids are eating and urban gardens. It's so
much more we should be doing, and all we're doing
is creating more hate and confusion. Really, you know, it's
just it's unfortunate. But this is what the people voted for.
(26:50):
So that's why we live in America. It's a democracy,
and this is what the voters wanted.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
No Epstein files just poof be gone, all right.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
They just confirmed that, you know, they ruled Epstein's death
a suicide.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Like they confirmed that it was a suicide. What do
you think about that?
Speaker 5 (27:12):
No surprise either. I mean it could be a suicide.
Maybe he knew something before it happened. But to me,
you know, you know, that's a tough that's a tough,
tricky situation, you know, and territory in itself. Speaking of that,
the administration took away the hotline for transgenders, uh suicide
(27:36):
hotline and prevention and all that, so.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
That that's that's difficult.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
And so when it comes to suicide, that's just just
it's just a heavy it's a heavy situation, you know.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
So did he do that maybe at a guilt?
Speaker 5 (27:54):
We don't know where's the letter or was it was
it staged?
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Was it? It's so many it's so.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Many questions marks security, like, yeah, it's just so many things.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Where where where's the cameras?
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Where where's what's where's the logs for the employees who's
on duty?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
So like, if that's what they're going to say it is,
then whatever.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
I don't know how that works with all the victims
and and you know, their lawsuits and things like that.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
But it's just heavy all around. And you know, when
your name if.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
You're the powerful, most powerful person in America and your
name happens to be in those circles and there's pictures
of you and you're on logs and all these kind
of things, then you can make things disappear exactly.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yeah, Well, like you said, the people who vote up
for them, for Trump, I just I want to know
where y'all at, where y'all at, and.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
What do y'all think? Now?
Speaker 1 (28:53):
You know, it's just so interesting how quiet people are
now now that, like you said, Trump is doing everything
he said he was going to do. He laid it
out on a plan and yeah, y'all, y'all feel for it.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
It's just January, it's just July.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
In just ten years. This has been going on already
for ah.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
He's moving quickly, you know, he is. Look, yeah, it's
just it's happening. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's happening. You know,
it's just it's it's unfortunate. But you know, I look
at it like we saw Elon Musk and we saw
(29:39):
Trump really just kind of like being babies, you know,
like they're going back and forth their buddy buddy buddies,
and then one is pouting and the other one is
using his power to like newte and then like going
in the media, which they both love and speaking how
they feel about it, and it's just like, y'all, we
have so much more like we should be focused on.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
And you know, they're really having.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
The episode of Black Mirror and Succession. It feels like
a reality TV show. It feels like girl the the
White House Instagram in Twitter, all those videos they're posting.
You saw they posted Trump and he had the song
usher Plan So my Daddy's home?
Speaker 4 (30:24):
Did you see that?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
No idea?
Speaker 4 (30:26):
Do you follow the White House on the page?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I used to.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Like, is this real?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
It's there's somebody account because what is happening? Like you
never know what's gonna pop up on that page. I'm like,
who is running it? Who is running this page? Who
is in all of this stuff? It's crazy. I can't
It's embarrassing. I can't believe this is my president. I
can't believe. It's just it's embarrassing to say the least.
(30:57):
All right, enough of Trump and.
Speaker 5 (30:59):
Elon, yes, enough, but egos that's all it is. Okay,
measuring contest.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
It's time for humble baddies.
Speaker 5 (31:08):
Now, okay, all right, you ready, yes, dear humble baddies.
I never imagine I'd be the villain in someone's story.
But here we are. I'm fifteen weeks pregnant and the
father is my best friend's ex husband.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Let me explain.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
They were married for six years and divorced over a
year ago. She can find it in me at about
their ups and downs, even the final straw. I supported
her every step of the way. But a few months
ago he and I started talking. It started innocent, venting,
catching up, checking in, but feelings grew One night turned
into many, and now I'm pregnant. He says he's ready
(31:50):
to step up. He wants to be a father, But
I haven't told her. I know this will break her.
I love her, but I also love this baby. Am
I wrong for keeping it a secret this long? Is
there even a right way to tell her? Or have
I destroyed this friendship beyond repair?
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Chah, there's so many men in this world, Like why amnny?
I just don't understand. And if it didn't work.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Out, like I just feel like, first of all, my
friend's husband's ex husband's ex boyfriends, ex whatever, whatever, Ill
like I'm not even interested. Yeah, Like it's not even
a thing first of all. Second of all, if it
didn't work out with your best friend. Why would you
think it's going to be better with you?
Speaker 4 (32:35):
You know? And all the ins and outs I'm sure
of whatever broke.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
All the horrible shit?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Dude, how could you even be turned on or interested
by this person?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
So to answer the question, it's wrong, all of it.
You're wrong. Your mentality is wrong. Be wrong.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
The only thing is right is the main because you know, God,
God don't make mistakes.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
Okay, but now.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I feel like everybody gonna need therapy as soon as
this baby is here. You know, I feel like that
friendship with you and your homegirl is over because why
would we be friends if I can't confide in you anymore?
M You know, I wouldn't feel safe around you anymore?
Speaker 6 (33:22):
Right?
Speaker 4 (33:23):
And then do the exes? Do they have children? Like?
It could be really messy. I'm very tricky and so yeah,
I just say this.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Whole situation is bad and shame upon you for, you know,
letting it get this far because one condoms.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
Okay, too like it. It's so many other men out here, honey.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
They might not all be good, but you can go
find another bad one because he don't sound like a
good apple. It's plenty of bad apples that you couldn't
do it up. Yeah, yeah, that's my take on that.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Yeah, I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
If if the friends, if this is we're talking about
an ex husband, like this is just she's definitely getting
ready to lose a friend. I think it should not.
That's not a that's not a healthy friend. Should Now
all things happen for a reason. The baby didn't ask
to be here, obviously, So now you have a baby,
So now the father needs to step in and be
(34:22):
a father and the mother needs to step in and
be a mother.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
But the old saying is you lose them, how you
get them?
Speaker 5 (34:28):
You know? Yeah, the feelings came back because there was
no accountability, you know, you you could go back and
do your thing, and it was sneaking, it wasn't under
the right pretense. So I don't think anything good is
going to come from this just because of how this
all festered. And it's really a a tough and not
(34:49):
healthy situation while you're pregnant as well as going to
have a newborn and bring in another child into this situation.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
So I mean maybe you were on their own son
or daughters, that's how you brought them into well.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
Yeah, and this happens every day.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
So that energy already coming from being sneaky and behind
the backs and lying and and now lying with a
husbands and all that kind of stuff and and and
and a white like you know, ex a friend. I
think it's just horrible karma. And you know, you just
(35:26):
got to be careful when you're playing with people, and
she just friend, You need to you need to let
her know because now it's better than later.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
I mean, it just gets worse.
Speaker 5 (35:37):
And now you have to distance yourself and give and
give her grace, give her, give your friend time to
really process this too, because this is also her ex husband.
If actually to your point, if there's kids involved, now
you're dealing with that was such and such a friend.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
You saw me cry.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
You were there when I was in my lowest time,
my weaknesses. You know, you saw me venting about this
man or there's a reason there ex is in the
first place. So here you are laying next to him
and comforting him and like really, you know, now having
a baby with him, you now locked in for life too.
(36:14):
So it's this is this is therapy. It says therapy
written all over it, because now y'all are really co
parenting and cold like habiting and cold, everything mingling and
it's you know, these are half siblings. So yeah, therapy.
That's all I got to say about that, you know,
(36:36):
as far as to help you out, that's the device.
So please tell the longer you tell, wait until the
harder it's gonna be.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
Yeah, I feel like it gets worse, the one gets worse.
And the right way to tell her, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
It's just honesty is the best policy. I feel it, like,
you gotta you gotta be honest.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
You know.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
It needs to be a public place too, tell you that.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Be here.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
Yeah, it's a conversation and low key is the conversation
with him.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Too, for sure.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Yeah, yeah, because.
Speaker 5 (37:12):
Now everything he's involved, and you know, we can attack
our friends more than we attack our men too, you know,
our partners, which is unfortunate, you know, as females too.
So maybe it's a situation where all three of them
are sitting there and like, look, this is what it is.
But that's a tough situation right there.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Baby. I don't wish that on anybody.
Speaker 4 (37:36):
That's the man.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
But do you think the friendship can be like savage?
Speaker 4 (37:44):
You know what? I don't think it would be a
friendship anymore.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
I feel like if the friend was you know, emotionally
mature a person and truly has moved on from whatever
feeling have for her ex husband, I'm sure she, you know,
in a perfect world, I think there's a way that,
you know, she could still be poorgial, you know, not friendly.
(38:11):
I don't think it would be smart to be friends
with her anymore. Yeah, I think she could you know,
be porgial if she's truly moved on from him. But
I just don't think there's a place for that friendship anymore.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
I agree, Hm, I agree.
