Absolutely my favorite part of the fight. Those that watched
the fight, I was very I was worried about Bud,
how I was gonna be able to handle the pressure

they had to feel each other out, and I seen,
I seen Buddy, you know, he had a little tight,
little guard a little bit. And when I noticed that
what Canelo was trying to do, whatever game plan he

came to the fight with, Bud had had a counter
for by the time they got the round six, I
said it was a rap. I said it was wrapped
because everything Canelo was trying to do and trying to
set up. It wasn't working. It's boxing, you're gonna get hit.
Of course, Canelo got hits in, yes, but it wasn't
enough to affect Bud or forcing it get on his
bicycle and have to protect himself. Man, it was beautiful.

in her eyes, and I remember telling Skip, I said, Skip,

if you was there sitting in on that thing, and Bud,
like before he got when he got up and left,

I said, he said, Shannon. I said, he said, it's boxing.
I'm gonna get hit, but he gonna get it too.
And I promise you he gonna get hit more than

You know what I love to about tonight. Most of
the time of Canelo, his people, they retreat there a
few times, but Canelo hit Bud flushed and some came
right back.

had anybody who can put punches together like Bud.
