Speaker 5 (07:42):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Man, I'm like, boy, look every time I replayed in
my head, I get pissed out.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Yeah, I've never heard of it. I've never heard of
getting need eruption of patella. It's normally a sudden you know,
a hard plant or a sudden you know, one way
or another, but you got need. That's what the doc rupture.
I've said that.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
It don't never happen like they said, normally, your legs
just kind of give out when you rupture up to
tell I'm like, no, man, this was contact.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Yeah, he said that though he said normally like that.
Oh but no, gotta keep moving. You know, I've seen
some guys rupture. You gotta keep moving, Joe, gotta keep
your head up to keep talking. Joe is tough because

I'm blocking everybody. I'm blocking a matter of fact about
about im about the block. Let me get my phone

Speaker 2 (10:00):
What is yet? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, he wanted to do.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Hey Joe, hey, Joe. So uh.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Claris Clarissa Shield said if she fights Leila Ali, depending
on where that they got some venues venues in place.
She said, she's gonna put me on the undercard and
I get the Me and andre will get to go out
and we get the thumb.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
What do you think about that?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Man, I'm gonna come check you out, O Joe, my dog.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Hey see, you're gonna come check you out.

Speaker 7 (10:30):
Yeah yeah, yeah, hey, hey, way, hey Joe, you're gonna
be You're gonna be shocked, Joe, You're gonna be shocked,
you know, Joe a little bit, Hey Joe, Hey, Joe,
I look good. But Joe smooth, you hear me, man
like like butter like. But I'm telling you, like park.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
A, You're gonna be surprised.

Speaker 7 (10:49):
I'm surprised on too, because everybody so focused on what
I look like four five years ago when I fought,
not understand it.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Not have been in the ring trying to perfect that
craft for the sweet signs for the longest.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
You know, once you get in the roove or something
and you understand how to how to take that chaos
and control it and destructuring.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Environment and just stay relaxed when it's done. When he's
done right is a big thing.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Joe Chad, do be a favor.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Go watch andre Ward when he interviewed Roy Jones and
he said how he fought and things like that.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Ain't watch him, watch him.

Speaker 7 (11:20):
Hold on Uncle Bob and watching andre Wards since he
was a shorty.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I know, boxing is my love, my sport. What you're
talking about. That don't mean he can't get.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Lumped up by me, No, no, no, no no. A professional
probably could have lumped him up that right right. The likelihood,
the likelihood of a guy coming off the street lumping
andre Ward up, even at his right age, and he
hadn't followed.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I like I like, hey, Joe,
I like that uncles doubt me, my teachers in high
school when they told me.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
And you got to realize, Oh yo, he your size.
Who he walks around.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
In I'm like tow to right now, he's not my side.
I wait to cut wait on.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, hey, the only thing gonna get cut in your
ass if you get with water. Hey, hey, hey Joe,
check this out. Let's check this video of Joe. Take
a look at this.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yeah, got twenty right there, bro.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Okay, got them?

Speaker 7 (12:22):
Yeah yeah, get my traps right, give me trapped, Give
me traps like a praying man is with a tank
top on.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Hey, hey, hey, Joe, you got all.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I'm just trying to figure out why you got. Why
you gotta beat it on with sweat paints, back gass.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
Because because because my legs was cold, my leg because
that gym, the gym I was in and got a
c on. But today was upper body, so I was
working my upper extremity. So I just want to make
sure my legs keep going.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Bro, you're supposed to stay You're supposed to stay covered up.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
On your I wanted to show it off a little
bit because I wanted.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I wanted.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
I want to tease Debo. I want to tea Debo.
I send him a little message.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
He Hey, Joe, I sent Deebo a little message, and
I played the stealer.

Speaker 7 (13:08):
S theme song that they play in the middle of
the game. It's called Renegade by Sticks, you know. So
I just wanted to let Debo know if I'm working,
I'm working. And he laughed at me on Instagrams. I'm like,
he let and he thinks it's funny. And I told him,
it's really gonna be funny. When my fist get stuck
to your frontal load like a magnet, that's what's gonna

(13:29):
be funny.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah, I'm a fucking ass up.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
What welcome in pro bow tied end? Kyle Pitt, Kyle,
how you.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Doing, brood? How you doing? It's?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Uh oh Joe and Joe alight? So Joe joining us tonight, Man,
appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Amazing.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I'm gonna get right into it. Michael Pennix Jr. Unprompted,
not from the reporters, not by anybody in current. The
first thing out of his mouth, Hey man, y'all saw KP.
It will be a lot.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
More that the day what what? What? What happened today?

Speaker 1 (14:08):
For people that weren't at camp, that didn't get an
opportunity to see what has Michael Pennich Junior so excited
that he started off his press conference mentioning Kyle Pitts.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
Obviously it's day one, his first day camp. You know,
the emotions is high. We had a pretty good day
as the offense, just jeling and moving the ball down
the field, and you know, it's a turning. It's always
great to be a safety blanker for these quarterbacks to
be somebody relies on.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
So for him to have that confidence in me is amazing.

Speaker 7 (14:43):
I was gonna say, I hope Zach Robinson right that
is officer coordinator. Yes, yes, sir, listen, I'm hoping Zach
Robinson can get back to putting you well.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Obviously I don't think he was there.

Speaker 7 (14:54):
He was there your rookie year, but getting you back
to doing what you do best, understanding what you did
at Florida that you can still do in the NFL.
There are so many mismatches that you can create based
on what you're gonna do in your unique skill set.
When we talk about the tight ends in the NFL
Top five You're supposed to be an out conversation based
on what you can do after a rookie season.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
You had a thousand yards. Obviously due to injury, there.

Speaker 7 (15:16):
Have been some minor setbacks, but this is a year
for you to get back to what you're known for,
and that's being a stellar playmaker regardless of what's around
your regards to who's in front of you. And I'm
hoping brother Robinson does everything you can to put you
back in position and make the plays that I know
you can make, because not only it's gonna help you
and Bill your confidence, but it's gonna make brother Michael

(15:37):
Penning Junior also be his confidence and be that quarterback
number one that the Falcons have been in search of
since Mike Ryan's been gone.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Sure, sure, well, now, how difficult is it? You have
the outstanding rookie year. As oh Jo mentioned, over a
thousand yards. There hadn't been very many tight ends to
come into the rookie and get a thousand yards.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Now you get that.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
So the expectations are through the roof because you know,
you hire a draft pick and you'll come out like gangbusters,
and then injuries, then quarterback turnover.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
How difficult is it to take stay positive when.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Your quarterback, they're the quarterback carousel and the injury start
them mount.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
I mean, obviously everybody has a different path, and I
think mine's pretty unique. Just obviously it being my fifth
year and it being my fifth quarterback. But I've learned
something from everyone from Matt to Marcus, to Desmond to Taylor,
from Kirk. I mean, everybody brings something special to the
table and just to learn a lot. And now this'd
be my first year of having someone from the previous

(16:40):
year as a quarterback and you know, growing the continuity
over the summer working out together, gett those routes in.
It's amazing to see it. And you know, just to
go that relationship with him just to you know, work
working this time during camp on the way to game one.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Ky Pete, what's uping Rush?

Speaker 5 (16:55):
You know?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Joe man ahead, Joe go ahead, killing chilling uh Man.
What's what's your expectations on the file Becaus this year,
on the season and this upcoming season.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
First, I want to go first expectations because we're taking
it in. We're by progression, you know, just first, healthy camp.
Everybody get out of it is healthy and then you know,
getting ready for week one and just trying to stack
as many wins as we can because obviously Atlanta is
a hard fan base is it's a city that is
very passionate sports, so for sure, and just to be

(17:30):
able to we want to get back to, you know,
having my stay. Its been rocking, which we have last year,
but you know we have some different things up and
bunks in the road. But you hear that, you know
we're coming together and we all bought in this second
year system, so now you know we got the opportunity
to take the next step.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Hey, you heard would it being in Secon your second
year in the system?

Speaker 7 (17:51):
How comfortable are you with the offense where you don't
have to think anymore? You can hear the play cold,
you go out there and you can just line up
based on in front of me. You can just go
without having to think.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
Yeah, very very confident, and like I said, it's your
two We've been working in the summer, just mentally and physically,
so it's just you know, so now we're hearing camp.
We're not taking a step back. We just now we're
just going against the defense and they'll be passed on
next week and you know, going into strong practice and
you know, into the preseason, so things like that.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Is big for us.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Having played the position that you played.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
And I don't know if people understand this, but when
you injured, you are a move tight end, lining you
up outside the numbers. They'll put your in motion, they'll
put you in the slot, you'll line up top, they'll
put you in the backfield. But when you're injured, it's hard.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Man.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
I just want to get hey, I just want to
get somewhere and just go all this back.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
I can't be cause I can't do it.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
And if and you know, you know what, like my
body just is not giving me what I want.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
But because the fans have.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Seen what you're capable of, they don't understand that body
to mind, it's willing, but the body just ain't able
right now.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Yeah, I mean, obviously everyone goes through injuries, some people don't.
But in my specification of having the knee and just
different little small, small things is it's just a testament
of what's going to happen this year. And I'm excited
for what's going to happen and how you know, we're
growing as an offense and how we're going to take
that next step. So it's so we got some games.
You're going to start Week one with Tampa divisional game,

(19:24):
and you know, go out there and try and get
the first win and just keep building them and you know,
hopefully within our division and then you know, taking a
step by step from there.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
You know, I have I have one question. How much
I don't want to call it.

Speaker 7 (19:36):
I don't I don't want to say power, but most
of the time it's called power to me. You know,
when a player can go to an officer coordinator and
go to your head coach and ask to do more?

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Are you healthy enough? Where is your body back in.

Speaker 7 (19:47):
The state where you can ask coach Robinson, listen, I
need you to put me in a different position to
be able to make plays, because if you put me
out here at receiver, it's a mismatch. You know, if
you put me in motion, you know it's a mismatch.
Is your body is a knee at a point now
where you can do a multitude of things offensively to
open up the play and also for you.

Speaker 6 (20:07):
One hundred percent and just mentally being able to play faster. Yeah,
that's a big thing. When you hear the players be
able to break the huddle and play fast. So definitely,
you know, being the best asset to this offense is
the goal because it's a bunch of playmakers on this offense,
from you know, Drake, Jon Mooney, Ray Ray, I mean
everybody can you know, we can spread everybody out and
then you know, you go Nickel never running Itt you

(20:27):
know Tyler. So we got the one, two points and
just being able to definitely take that take that load
for sure.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Did you hear because of the injury, because of some
lack of production, there was a rumor swirling possibly Kyle
Pitts might be on the move.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
How did you stay in the moment?

Speaker 1 (20:47):
How did you like, I'm here right now, if and
when that were to arise that I'm somewhere else, I'll
deal with that then.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
But how did you stay present in the moment?

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Because people say, oh, I don't think it's hard, but
you talk about me, you know, unless there's another cow
Pits I don't know about. But in the meantime you're
talking about cal Me, I'm cal Pits and I hear
all of this going on. How were you able to
stay focused, stay present? And says you know what if
it happens, it happens. But in the meantime, I'm here.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
I mean, I'm I'm very much deep in my face,
so I know what God has planned for me. But
most important is like, you know, those people have a
job and fans are fans for a reason.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
They can't do what we do, so they don't really
know me.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
You know, I know the player I am, and I
know the bumps and the bruises and the different things
we've had to go through in these past couple of years.
But it's you know, everybody hears their time, and you know,
I feel like.

Speaker 5 (21:37):
My mom is coming.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Yeah, Hey, carry y'all up, y'all open, and y'all open
up here again.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
Yes, sir, man have to come check out.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
He say, what's up?

Speaker 1 (21:54):
What you trying to do?

Speaker 2 (21:57):
All right? We get back.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
You can't you can't come to the game with us.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
That's crazy. Bus can't commit early this early.

Speaker 7 (22:08):
And I'll be there, man, I'm worried about it. He Joe,
I be there, belt man.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
Okay, y'all heard y'all heard that. Make sure y'all got
y'all in the house and your everything set up better.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
He better heard that. They be rocket Okay, I ain't
gonna lie to you. Up here.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I heard it be rocket the food be banging, I mean,
and they got this, Uh you get what is a
hot dog?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
I don't need no glisters, so I gotta come up
with something else.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
But you get a pretzel, a big large soda prize
and all the food is like except alcohol.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Is that all you could eat? Like a certain price.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
We got one of the best owners in the business,
mister Blank.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah, yeah, great man.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
And he makes it a form of everybody. And you
know it's a great time. It's only one way that
you know, taste sweet yourself. You gotta come see it,
you know, the bed.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
You gotta.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Let me ask you this though, a can I come
to a.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Prem you you don't even like sitting there? Hey would be? Hey,
I got a question?

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Right?

Speaker 7 (23:12):
Do you understand the seriousness which I've just learned, and
this is long after I'm done playing, you understand the
seriousness between the Falcons and the.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
At first I didn't me too.

Speaker 6 (23:27):
At first I didn't and I didn't really understand that
the hatred it's not like a dislike, right, and it's
like that's kind of like Georgia Rose Florida.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
You know that game.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
Yeah, it don't matter if you dinged up, you find
a way.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
You know.

Speaker 6 (23:43):
That's that's the that's the robbery game. It's gonna be
down to the last I know, and thanks to the
great team. And I feel like, you know, each year
it's a fight to be able to go down and
Caesars Doms is loud to especially when we come into town.
So it's like you know, vice versa when they come
up here and they you know, the their their fan

(24:03):
based travels heavy and it's you know, it's a very
competitive game.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Kyle.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Let me ask you this when when you look at it,
where the where you started and now you see all
these guys they got to make brides that come in
and they got the Hockinsons, and they got the la
Porters and they got all these guys, and don't.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Simulate that what whoa whoa?

Speaker 4 (24:23):
What?

Speaker 2 (24:23):
What? What happened to? What happened to?

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Y'all? Ain't y'all ain't talking about me no more? Y'all
y'all know I've been that boy. I've been him. I
just been Nick Dunk. So y'all just go look over me.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
It's okay, Look that's all right, that's all right.

Speaker 6 (24:36):
You know, it's not too many people who have perfect careers,
you know, so so you know when I get back
on the map other things to do the thing, I
gotta do what I need to do first.

Speaker 5 (24:46):
Stuff.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Right, you said today that you're not paying attention to
any outside noise. I don't read that rat poison. I
don't get on Twitter, and I don't listen to the box.
Who can't come out here and not a degree where
it and come and do what I do. Expand on
the rap because that was coach say was one of
his favorite saying, you get a little praise or you
get some negativity and it festers.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
Even though I didn't go to Alabama, that was something
that just watching him and I had a couple of
buddies go to Alabama, that was something that you know,
they would say that he's big on. So I never really,
like I said, I don't read it because they can't
come out there in the heat of the moment and
hear a play call and game of the line people screaming.
You can't hear the snap count and go out there
and perform. So it's like I don't I don't really

(25:29):
value that at all. And you guys know those athletes,
they're they're on the sidelines for a reason. They just
you know, they're investing because they've bett now you know,
like we know it is to go out there, run
across the middle, fourth quarter, catch that ball and move
the sticks right. Uh but port, I don't know if
this is true, but this is what's being reported that
you were being used. They see you more with the

(25:51):
receiver group than with the tight end group.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
It's a I mean report.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
I don't know, Like you said, I can't do what
you do. Piss no more.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
I can't come back there, not a degree, not a
not even with an umbrella and Raide, I can't be
out there that he me and heat don't get along anymore.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
No no more, no no more.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
But you have your day when it was it was,
you had your two days, you know luckily.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Yeah, I won't have those no more. I won't have
those no more.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
But yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
It's gonna be. It's a plan.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Uh, following behind coach Morrison, you know what rahiem and
and you know of course z Rob has definitely put
together for me for this camp and just entering this year.
It's big on just you know, like I said, buying
in and you know, trusting what they have and you
know it's it's I would say hybrid, won't won't, won't
say you know, a specific position, definitely behind. The more

(26:45):
you can do it, the better you are.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
I love it. I love it.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
Listen, I'm predicting. I can do this. You ain't got
to say nothing. I'm predicting thirteen hundred. I'm telling. I'm
telling you. I'm telling what it's gonna look like this year.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
So what's the so, what's the what's the prize?

Speaker 6 (27:04):
What we'll talk about that.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
Just call me. I got you, I got I got piz.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
I'm gonna put you on the spot. I will put
you on the spot. Give me your top five tight
ends of all time. You study positions, played the position,
and keep it a stack stack. If I ain't, If
I ain't in the top five, I'm cool with you.
Like you said, I would have hald my time that
all the time I was in the top five.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
If I'm not now, but I was.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
No.

Speaker 6 (27:31):
I never get into specific numbers because you know everybody like,
oh you're missing this person. It's really just who you
kind of model your game after. So like my fun
no specific order, would be definitely you, Tony g Mike Dick,
who was the start before I would say Jason Winton
is someone who I feel like in high school when

(27:53):
I really started learning about the tight end position, and
you know, he wasn't maybe like the fastest, but he
knew how to beat you mentally because I learned him
a gunny and Lee Smith, who you know, he may
be older, but they're they'll beach to the spot. But
uh mmmm yeah, Tony g U, Mike Didker, Jason and
I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have to go give

(28:15):
Travis's fowlers.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
He the best doing it right now. He the best.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
Don't get it between him and him and him and
Georgia when they like one, they wouldn't be right there.
They definitely sent the president for how to play the
position and how to win at that position. It's definitely,
you know, love watching them on film.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah, watching you play you kind of remind me of
myself the speed guy. We did a lot of my
damage outside and then the slot. Uh I ain't really
trying to bang like that, but I had to block
a little bit more that you had had the block.
But I think Gates, you moved. Gates wasn't that fast,
but man, Gates knew how to get open his catch touchdown.
I'm like, how does folk get me touchdowns like that?

(28:51):
That's what I couldn't right And and.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
That's what I'm saying, like, you know, me putting winning
in the top five, I really had Gates see in
the top five because that's who really you know him
in LA when he's playing with you know, Dan Thompson.
So that was he was watching when I was getting
into a Washington you know, different tight ends.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
That was like, man, how they how they score all
the the the touchdow How this man got one hundred
and seventeen hundred and eighteen touchdown for a tight end.
That's unheard of. Y'all will have to get on the
ball if y'all be cause I break, it's gonna be
that long time. If somebody don't get on the ball,
nobody don't get there on the way they're doing that
ball now, tight ends don't score like that. Man.

Speaker 6 (29:30):
That nmly I feel like, yes, you had you had
you some games in the redsume where you was you was,
You had you some stringer games where you ten plus Sure.

Speaker 1 (29:43):
But here's the thing. Think about he had LT. I
mean he went three U L T went three years.
LT had sixty nine touchdowsand three years. Do you know
they yes, Friday And So for a tight end, there
have only been two tight ends that have over hundred
TVs in a career. That's that's a gonzo in Gates.

(30:04):
So in one hundred and one hundred plus year history history,
one hundred and five hundred and six year history, they're
only two tight ends to put up those kind of numbers.
And hey, hey, hey, unless Hawkinson and and Laporte McBride
and kill the kiddle, you get fifth, you get on
the ball. Man, it's hard to go down there because

(30:24):
like you said, he could, he could score. I could never.
I was a guy that get yards. You know, I
lead the game with one hundred and fifty hundred and
sixty yards with no touchdown.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Man, that joke.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
I have like eighty eight yards with three.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Touchdown, right hey, right there?

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Yeah, you got you gotta think.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
You gotta remember Antonio Gate's skill set to now they
get down to that goal line, they get him out there,
wide basketball background coming to play.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Ye man, listen his ladder movement he moved in short areas.
His releases is like a damn receiver. Hew.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
What was his career length? How long did he play on? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I think he played sixteen. I think I think games
has got se he got sixteen or seventeen bits.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
I think he got sixteen.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Yeah, I think it was. I think it was sixteen.
Because my coach, Tim Brewster was He used to show
me all his tape when I was coming out.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Yeah, I think Brewster was in there. I think he
was in I think Brewster was in Denver.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Too, yep, okay, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Was Wade Harmon there when you got there? Who was
your position coach when you first got there?

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Justin Peel?

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Okay, justin Peel. That name signed for me.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
I think he played played here in Okay, Okay, okay, Yeah,
I thought that name sounded familiar.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
You're one hundred percent healthy, You're rare to go.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Joe tried to put some numbers on you. What is
health the precursor? Because I know you look, I don't
want to put you on the spot and said, okay,
give us a stat total where you say one hundred
and twelve hundred yards and this health is the precursor
and then everything else will fall into place after that.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
Is that how you're approaching it?

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (32:00):
You know, once I got back to you know, last
year and in this off season, feeling great, that's the
last thing in my mind.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Now.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
It's just like I said, playing fast mentally, physically, being
able to get to my spot, and you know, being
the best asset for Mike. So when I do, when
I do, get my opportunities and first, you know, first,
second down, third down ball, my weight were moving a chain,
We're getting yak.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
That's that's the big thing.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:21):
And you know putting that shoulder down across that goal
line mooa chains, you know, be more valuable for this offense.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Yeah, yeah, you heard that rise up. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Yeah, it's an experience and that thing you gotta go
check them file because out baby.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Yeah. So week one we were there in Tampa, and.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
I mean, do you understand how Hardville Joe like, when
you're trying to evaluate like what we do, we're gonna
have to talk about the game. What so how we're
gonna talk about the game that we don't watch your
television if we had the falcon use the phone you got.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
The NFL resumes all the games on your phone.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
See that's the thing though, See so how you how
you watching the facus game? If you looking at your.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Phone, we can just look at the tin bits, look
at the tim bit.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
I see where he coming from.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Nah.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Nah, he's just trying to get out of going to
the game with us. What are you doing.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Here?

Speaker 5 (33:17):
Gonna sneaking at one of these games? One of the games.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Yeah, I'm gonna have to figure that the time game
I'm gonna call. I'm gonna have to call. I'm gonna
have to call mister Blank. Imna have to go through
the other private So we're.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Gonna take it.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Will make it work, Will make it work. Yeah, I'm
pretty accommodation.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
Kyle Man. Thanks for joining us. Man, We appreciate it.
Stay healthy. This is the year.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
You gotta stay healthy because you know what this is
a this is your fifth year. You know what the
fifth year means? After the fifth year the hey kidle
got nineteen million? Hey, you could be the first twenty
million dollar.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Guy ship MAGA twenty two.

Speaker 5 (33:55):
Hello, I like that? Like that?

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Hey, I'm just saying it first. Got a worse with
a two in front of it for a tight end.
What that means my whole career? Damn he keep ahead
chopping would let's go now? Yes, sir, break by and
congratulations man, continue to continue success, Stay healthy, man, and
come back and join us after that first two under

(34:19):
your game, come back and join us and talk to it,
tell us about it.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
I got you. I'm gonna hold you to that, all right, bet,
all right, appreciate it for.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
The Atlanta Falconus guys, thank you for joining us.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Kyle. Do you see this?

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Oh, Joe and Joe the last Thursday without all until February,
because next week it's the Hall of Fame game just
versus the line?

Speaker 6 (34:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Man, So it's about to get real busy. It's about
to get real busy out here. There was some football
injuries today, guys. Justin Fields was carted off the field
doing Jets training camp. The official Jets Cap put an
update saying after a medical evaluation, Justin Field sustained a
dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day
to day. Fills a void of serious injury and significant mistimes.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Dislocated toe.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
How much time is that?

Speaker 4 (35:16):
About two weeks?

Speaker 1 (35:18):
It all appears, you know, that's on his right foot.
That's you throw off. Yeah, that's the one that you
stopped and big the way. You don't know how much
you need that big toe one until you heard it.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
Can you heard it?

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Right?

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
You stub it?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Hey you Hey, in the middle of night when you
go into the bathroom, you kick that bed post.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
You hit the corner of the wall or the corner
of the bed.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Man, hold on, hold.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
I got turnte when I was playing in Brooklyn. We
played against Toronto. It was a game seven. We end
up winning the game seven, but I got I got it.
I called the turf toe on like third quarter. So
today series, man, I had to get shot in my
big toe before every game. Man, I'm talking about the
worst pain ever.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Oh my god. My brother had that same injury.

Speaker 5 (36:11):
Joe.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
He had a good shot up. He didn't practice all
he did. He heard it in the preseason. He shot
it up and then he ended up having to have
surgery after the season. Yeah, yep, so hey, that toe
ain't ain't nothing to play with. I had an uncle
and he pumped wood and he ended up cutting his
big toe off. Man, that joker walk. He actually cut

(36:32):
like three of the toes off. Yeah, he went through
he was cutting. He was cutting the wood and and
went through and went right toes on the ground.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
Just got to have on when you cut wood, you'
support to have on steel toe boots.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Hell, bro, that's a check.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Brother. You think they're still too. I don't know if
you ever see the pump wood up and I think
he had a bowl blade. You know, the bow blade
is right, Okay, you got a straight and then you
have the bowl blade.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
So he had he had that big bow blade.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's called.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
The bowl blade.

Speaker 7 (37:19):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
And see now I don't know if they still do it,
because now I see all the when I watch, I
see uh uh. When I watch, I g and I
see they got these machines. They got the machine that
are cut down the tree. But they didn't have that
when I was growing up as a kid. They had
seven eight nine guys out there with the moon blades
and the bowl blades cutting down the trees.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
So it's it was.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
It was a big difference back then, oh Joe then
what it is now? But yeah, man, you be you
gotta be careful. You got to watch guy cutting down
the tree, and the tree follow your head and a man,
you get hurt out there. Hey, that's some dangerous work
out there. But yeah, Sam Donald, Zach Wilson, Rogers, not

(38:00):
justin Field.

Speaker 8 (38:01):
It seemed like, damn they can't carry yeah and listen
at least at least it's the extent of the injury
is not that drastic where he's gonna miss the whole
season obviously, I'm not sure what the what the length
of time is for dislocated toe?

Speaker 4 (38:14):
The backup is.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
It all the pis what do you call them?

Speaker 5 (38:19):
Taylor?

Speaker 7 (38:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I don't think they're gonna miss
a beat offensively, but but having justin Fields dead to
get those those reps in with with the.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Star, yeah, he need with them. And with that type
of injury, I know it Lingers, it ain't just gonna go.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
You know.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Yeah, and it all the pells on what toe it is?
What toy is dislocated? Is it the big toe? Is
it one of the middle toes? Because a lot of
times when you have turst toe oo, they put that
steel plate because they don't want it depend you know,
because they don't want you to get that that flexi
up and on on the toe. So it's gonna be
very very interesting. I wish you must be the recovery.

(38:56):
I just want I just want a young fellow to
be able to stay plate, play fast, stay healthy, be
somewhere they will leave in him. I don't know how
good the offensive line that they're gonna have at the Jets,
but I know that he relished this opportunity because now he.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Thought he was going to Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
And then they end up signing Russell Wilson and he
gets off into a four to two start and then
they insert Russell and so he's like, well, damn, what
I gotta do?

Speaker 2 (39:21):
What do I gotta do?

Speaker 4 (39:22):
But uh, go ahead saying that that sucks.

Speaker 7 (39:26):
It sucked for the Jets fan, it sucks for the
Jets organization as they continue to try and find and
hit that shride at that quarterback position.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
Like it's always something, It's always something.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Ag said he suspected Feels was hurt when his foot
was stepped on by a teammate, but that he needed
to see the film and a lot of times don't
sho you know, you get stepped on. The quarterback gets
stepped on, try to get out there a guard or
the center step back, he gets pushed back. He's trying
to brace himself, he steps on the quarterback foot and
then you know, things like that happened. But the Jets

(39:59):
fans will be very very very very very very very
disappointed if, like bro he got hurt by his own
teammate and we ain't even get to the game yet practice,
but it happens that. Yes, I just okay, I broke
my eye socket. My teammate did that. I'm like, damn, mhm.

(40:20):
Friendly if I get you. Oh, Joe, you know you're blocking,
you get rolled.

Speaker 4 (40:23):
Up, keep keeping feet moving, but you gotta stay moving
or moving.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Hey Joe, that was the thing. Hey, I tell the
running back okay, since you want to run up my back, Hey, okay,
no way.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
It's like ever been playing football, risky. One of the
worst that I see when I be seeing guys blocking
and people be following on them and they don't.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Know damn yep.

Speaker 7 (40:50):
Yeah, the best, the best thing you do, especially for
Limon Limon is hard to keep their foot feet moving.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
But when people fall on top of you, just let
your body go. Don't fight it. Yes, let your body
go and forward with everything.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
But a lot of times you see guys that they
can't because they're getting held up on your you know,
sometimes you block it and then somebody ll ll up.
Yeah yeah, yeah, Ain nothing you could do, But you're right,
that's that's the thing, is to try to let your
body go limp and to take some of thatt of
that energy out of it. But maam, but I show

(41:25):
hope justin Fields get healthy soon. Oh Joe, You're not
gonna believe what Raiders are releasing DT Christian Wilkins with
the designation of terminated bested veteran the reporters The Raiders
reportedly voided the remaining thirty five point two million guaranteed
money left on Wilkins contract last month due to how

(41:48):
he treated the rehab from the foot injury he suffered
last season. Raiders released the statement and it reads as such,
we have decided that it is in the best interest
of the organization to move who on from Christian Wilkins,
and he has been informed of his relief from the team.
This franchise has a commitment to excellence all and off

(42:08):
the field. With no clear path or plan for the
future return to play from Christen, this transaction is necessary
for the entire organization to move forward and prepare for
a new season.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
Well you know what.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
That lets me know there's language in the contract somewhere.
Because they just said they avoided keyword guaranteed.

Speaker 7 (42:28):
The fact that they can get void guaranteed money means
there's language in the contract somewhere that says, if you
do not do X, Y and Z, then legally we
can take your money back to you, even though it's.

Speaker 4 (42:42):
Said guaranteed.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Check this out.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
The NFLPA has fifty days to file aggrievance on Christian
Wilkins perhalfs after the Raiders a boid it thirty five
point twenty five million worth of guaranteed money in his
contract on June fourth, eight million for this year, twenty
seven point twenty five for the next year. The grievance
was filed this morning. A legal battle time. Yeah, what

(43:08):
do you think he did the same thing.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
I guess he will.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
I guess he wasn't there rehabbing or they said he
wasn't taking the rehab hold on.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Let me go back and see what they said. Uh,
he's been in holo on it said.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
Last month due to how he treated the rehab from
the foot injury he suffered. Remember, the Cowboys took five
hundred thousand from Trayvon Diggs. Why because of how he
treated the rehab. They said he wasn't there enough. They
didn't felt he was taking it serious enough. Remember oh
Yo also the Milwaukee Bucks. What did Dane want to do?

(43:47):
He wanted to train in Pardon to be close to
his family. They said that they didn't want a jibe
with that, and they didn't want to get into it.
They say the best thing for him to do is
to just move forward. Now, it seems like the Raiders
will trying to explain, get that all.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
We don't want to play that, we ain't try to
play thirty five men.

Speaker 7 (44:05):
I see what the team are doing, and I understand.
I see that side is Okay, you're hurt, you're injured.
We want to be able to track how.

Speaker 4 (44:13):
Far along you are.

Speaker 7 (44:14):
We want to see where you are to make sure
it'ke sure not listen, they rehappen no matter what. They
gonna do that because they do they want to play football,
but they just want to be on top of how
it's going, who's doing it, what's being done, to make
sure that you're doing everything you can to get yourself
back on the field in a timely manner. That's the
only reason they're doing that, the only reason Trayvon Diggs
was fine because we can't see it.

Speaker 4 (44:36):
We don't know exactly what you're doing.

Speaker 7 (44:38):
You can say you're doing it, which I we know
you are, but it's not to our satisfaction because it
ain't coming from us.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
I don't know how y'all yo do it. But Joe,
but you know this, Okay, I invest some money, so
I got stocking, this, this, and this.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
You know what um people do. Oh Joe, it says, okay,
here's your tracker. You can track it.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
Also if you just track and I don't track it,
you could tell me anything, but I can see. Hold on,
why you buy some more of that? Who told you
to sell that? If they're if you're not there, because
you got to realize it. These guys are investments to

(45:17):
these teams, O shoe, Like you think about it?

Speaker 2 (45:19):
And what was this game?

Speaker 1 (45:20):
So guaranteed? He got like eighty something million guaranteed?

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Ojoe? You don't think these people.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Gonna watch out for their investment to make sure they're
trying to get a return on their money. That's the
whole purpose of an investment, is that I'm trying to
get a return on that investment. Bro, look like I said,
I don't, I don't. I don't really know. I mean, look,
this is what the Raiders are saying. I'm sure if

(45:46):
you were to talk to Christian Wilkins and his representative,
they'll tell you something different.

Speaker 2 (45:51):
But I do understand. But these teams, these teams for uh.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
I remember in the in the Super Bowl, I tore
my mcl and uh what it was a grade two,
grade three string o jo. I stayed once we got back.
I stayed there for like five weeks after the season.
You don't think I wanted to go home. I could,
but I stayed there. Got that thing like eight Greek says, Hey,

(46:18):
after the trader Steve at the Nopolis, we call him Greek.
He says, Sharper, you can go home, but I'm gonna
need to see you in a month to make sure
this thing is fully healthy.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
No problem, no problem, and.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
That damn shore. Well look here, y'all got y'all guarantee
me how much eighty four million I'm staying there with you.
I'm gonna get that theme after you. Hey, Joe, I'm
getting on that.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
I'll get all that when the season over. They trying
to get up out of it.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
I think I think in Dame's case though, with him
knowing he gonna miss the whole season, Ojo, I think,
you know, yes, you know, probably just put him in
a better headspace being around his family, which no, I
can't understand that.

Speaker 6 (47:01):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
I don't feel he's a guy who's gonna short change you.
But you know, I get it.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
Maybe they want to already get rid of him anyway,
because if he you know.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
What I mean.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
So they did because cause you know what, Joe Dame
never wanted to be there in the first place. Dame
wanted to Dame see. First of all, Dame let the
fans and this ring culture force him out of Portland.
He never wanted to leave Portland, but he felt, he
felt in order to appease a lot of people that
kept putting pressure on him, he needed to go somewhere.

(47:30):
Man stepped them playing for a championship, Luca of them
played for a championship. This when I'm played for a championship.
Dame ain't ever been close to playing for a championship.
They got him up out of there, but he went
to a place that is where he wanted to go.
He said, he wanted to go to Miami. Well, Miami
didn't have didn't offer the package that Minnesota offered. Excuse me,

(47:50):
Milwaukee offered, so they ended up. I'm trying to get
the best deal, Ojo. I understand you, my boy, O Jo. Hey,
I'm gonna do everything I possibly can.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
But you know, O, show where you want to go.
Ain't offer me what this place over here, So you.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
Might have to do a kawhi, you might have to
do a detour, you might have to go somewhere for
a year and let them move you.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
But I got to take the highest price and for them, Joe,
let me know what you think.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
It seems to me when somebody take the steps that
Milwaukee took, it seems like to me, Now maybe I'm exaggerating,
but I think they were overdain they realized that this
thing was gonna work.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
Oh Joe, that's one and one hundred and eleven million dollars.
It's just for me.

Speaker 3 (48:32):
It's I think they were thinking like the injuries, I
mean they I mean, he's pretty much been injured over
there every year, so they could never get full potential
into what.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
They could be.

Speaker 3 (48:40):
I'm gonna be honest with y'all. I was excited about
him going to Milwaukee. I know he ain't want to
go there, but I just thought him and Yannis would
bring a different element to the Eastern Conference that a
lot of a lot of these teams wouln't be able
to match. And the fact that he had to deal
with these injuries the past two years many I just
feel like they was like, well, you know, our time
is up on that, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (49:00):
Yeah, he was Janni's was injured his first year, then
he got then he you know, kind of nick he
was licked early. Then now they say, you know what,
let instead of trying to let this thing play out,
let's go ahead and cut the cord because sometimes oh,
your people like, well, well maybe we can salvage it.
Nah bro, you burn this, Let's don't. Let's not peel
this burnt edges away and try to eat the inside.

(49:23):
Nah bro, just go ahead and throw this whole issue
in the trash and move on and let's try to
get another dish going. Because that's what happened. They were like,
we're not trying to salvage this. We already know what
it is. And it's a situation where y'all. I'm sure
Giannis is frustrated because Johannis said, like these superstars, they
keep their foot on these team's neck because I want

(49:45):
to compete for a championship every single year.

Speaker 4 (49:48):
It's unfortunate. It's funny how they do it. They don't
see value in you anymore. Once you get hurt, once.

Speaker 5 (49:53):
You get.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
You've been that, well, I don't know you've ever been there,
but Joe, you've been that. I've been injured. They don't
even talk to you. You get hurt and they don't
even talk to you. He ain't Hey, you're getting close
to getting how you feel it?

Speaker 2 (50:09):
You you ready?

Speaker 1 (50:10):
You ain't scared, are you?

Speaker 5 (50:12):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (50:13):
You ain't saying a damn word to me now a
couple of days away from returning. Now you asking me
how female.

Speaker 7 (50:21):
Hurt?

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Ain't gonna lie to you. It's lonely been hurt, man,
that's the worst. Man. I broke my collarbone. Man, I
should have had this thing replaced it.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
I mean it come by out, broke out of the skin,
and so there's like it's gonna be like it's gonna
be like that was week that was week four.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
I broke it.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
So they say it's gonna be like eight to ten wheels. So, oh, Joe,
you know what I'm saying. I go in like week six.
I'm I'm you know, I'm I'm running on the treadmill. Man,
I try to open up what crack up? All the
scar tissue loose? Now I'm going I'm gone.

Speaker 4 (51:04):
For the red.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
You got in your own that way, then you'll not
rush back. No, God, Mabe, you know I had the thing,
I said, mab you know I feel Joe. You know
I feel good. You don't let me let me open
this thing. Let me open it up, Joe, I got Joe,
how be it good?

Speaker 4 (51:26):
Best right? It like crack.

Speaker 7 (51:31):
Damn?

Speaker 1 (51:32):
I hit that button, man, I got that up there.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
Hey mm hm.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
As a matter of fact, they knew it was bad
because they sent me to uh they sent me to
New York, I think, and saw the Giants team.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Doctor. He said, yeah, you you tore the scar tissue.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
The car that you loose from there, he said, uh,
that's a that's a six weeks here, that's Rapo Chevy.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
Yeah. I let them gas be they gas be up there. Hey,
I'm trying to get back too.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
Fan check this out, O Joe There's a video that
has surfaced today of Wilkins dancing in the Raiders' facility
to Backstreet Boys just a few days ago. Check out
this video. Guys, Oh, he already knew what was going on.

(52:27):
A lot of times all they want to do is
video Joe, Oh, Joe. I don't know if y'all did this,
but I can explain something. A lot of times guys
are like, man, I'm hurt. I'm hurt, man, I can't
go out there. And they say, look, we just want
you to go out there. Just do a couple of walkthroughs.
They put them pads on, they go out there and
they do the walkthrough, and when they come back in there,

(52:51):
they get the little tap on the shoulder.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
They want to see you upstairs. They already got your film.

Speaker 4 (52:55):
Okay, they got your field.

Speaker 5 (52:58):
Now.

Speaker 1 (52:59):
I ain't telling them for somebody I'm telling about. Hey, Hey,
that's all they want to see. Hey, you going through
the a.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
Let's see upstairs.

Speaker 4 (53:08):
Hey, So hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
hold on.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
Camp has started right.

Speaker 7 (53:14):
His homie unknowingly incriminated him by posting it on Instagram,
not knowing that they're gone through some already and they
used that video against him and they got him out
of there.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Their reports, this is reports, we don't know if it's
true or not, saying that Wilkins refused surgery when the
team recommended O JO.

Speaker 2 (53:36):
You remember the Michael Thomas situation. He had all off season,
and this man had surgery in June.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
The situation with Wilkins and Vegas has been simmering for
months as both sides disagreed on how the foot injury
and recovery should be handled. Christen Wilkins made twenty nine
million last year and had already twenty five point five
million already this year. That's fifty million dollars forty nine

(54:05):
point seven million dollars cold on. He's trying to get
out of there. He trying to get out of the
O joe. So he was gonna make seven Oh Joe,
He's gonna make seven million, which would have pushed the
total to fifty basically about fifty seven million with another
twenty seven point five do therefore in lies eighty four

(54:28):
point five million.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
Garing te Hey, y'all woman, have surgery.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Okay, now when I can't come back your plate, remember
y'all recommend some he had I think he had a
Liz Frank. I think he had a foot. He had
a foot injury.

Speaker 4 (54:49):
Hey, if you have a Liz Frank, do you actually
need you need surgery or is it optional?

Speaker 1 (54:55):
Sometime sometimes they're recommended. But at the end of the look,
oh Joe, you remember how I told you. If I'm
gonna get hurt, I'm gonna get hurt on teams. If
I'm gonna have surgery, I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Have it on your time. So if it goes awry.

Speaker 4 (55:10):
From what you say, k ok ok o k o,
k ok okay, damn, I.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
Mean he could go Okay, you I got a doctor,
your doctor says this. Okay, let's go get an independent doctor,
somebody that has done it. Because my doctor's gonna look
out for the best.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
It needs to me.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
Your doctor's gonna look out for the best of the team.
Let's go get somebody that ain't got no dog in
the fight. Let's go to Anderson up in Charlotte. Let's
go to get somebody at the curling Joe Clinton out here,
Let's go see the andrew Ain'. Hey, I got I
got another time. I'm gonna go see James Andrews. I'm
gonna go see Stedmand Hawkins. I'm gonna go see doctor Anderson.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
Up in Charlotte. I go see Watkins.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
I don't care. I'm go see five or six doctors.
What is the best treatment for this? Okay, y'all, here's
the X raise. This is the this is what's going on.
What is the best course of action. Do I let
this heel on his own? Will it heal on its own?
Or do I need to have surgeon have this thing fixed?
What do you guys recommend?

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (56:15):
I got seven eight different opinions. Six of them says
have surgery. Nah, Six of them says let it heal.
To have surgery.

Speaker 7 (56:26):
Man, listen, you know your body. You know your body
and everybody else. He felt it in knee surgery obviously,
but with training camp starting.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
He has a Jones fraction. Let me take that back,
I said, Liz Franks. He has a Jones fraction.

Speaker 4 (56:36):
Over that a that knee surgery? There, baby, you heard me.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
I think he had already had, Sirry hold on, what's
the Jones Jones?

Speaker 5 (56:44):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (56:47):
It's? Oh, jerry'all gotta break that down for you.

Speaker 2 (56:49):
Boy.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
Hey, well listen, don't don't give me the line. Boy,
I ain't never been hurt.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
So I know Jones.

Speaker 1 (56:56):
A Jones fraction, also known as the fifth metal tarsal fracture,
is a break in the bone that connects the pinky
too to the foot base.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
So the pinky too, the little bone that's right here.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
You need that.

Speaker 4 (57:11):
Yeah, hold on, hey, I would Hey, I would have
would I would have.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
Got it there it is right there. Yeah, okay, y'all
see that.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
Yeah, yeah, hey, I would. I would have got that
done right right away. Brock oh Joe, And.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
That's not that's not a small man. Oh no, that's
a yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:31):
You got to think about it. That's a large man
on that he and he's quick, he's agile. His whole
thing is playing with quickness.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
I wonder why you wanted.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
He had surgery last October, but the rehab didn't work
and he needed surgery again.

Speaker 2 (57:48):
Per team.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
I win and got it, got that, sir, George. Oh Joe,
I got it, O Joe, Ojo. This is not like
I'm in a contract here. I got eighty four million guarantee.
Then I'm in Las Vegas with no state income tax.

Speaker 4 (58:05):
I guarantee, I guarantee you get picked up. I can
tell you where you're gonna go to where you're going
Ojoe over there with the star on their helmet, because
it's not it's not honest a need.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
But here's the thing, though, O Joe, if he's not healthy,
can he pass a physical I understand the game he played.

Speaker 4 (58:23):
He trying to he trying to put Ojoe and listen,
I'm I'm man, listen he might.

Speaker 7 (58:32):
You never know how a play it feel if you
if you're saying one thing and they trying to force
you something else, and it basically got the play a
feeling like, well, damn, you really don't care about me.

Speaker 4 (58:41):
You just want me to get out there on the field.

Speaker 1 (58:44):
O Jo No, oh Joe.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
They're telling him to have surgery.

Speaker 4 (58:48):
No, but he's trying to do it his way without
without having to have the surgery. I already won.

Speaker 7 (58:52):
I'm not going back under the knife again. I'm gonna
wait till the hill on his own. Then when I
feel I'm healthy enough, I'm gonna get on the field.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
That got That's the that's the only that's the only,
only only thing it could be.

Speaker 1 (59:05):
But you can't be dancing in the locker room. You
can't be dancing the training room. You know they Ojo,
I don't know how Cincinnati do it, Joe, I don't
know how they do it. But in Denver we had
cameras everywhere the meeting room, big meeting room, small meeting room,
training room.

Speaker 4 (59:23):
Yeah, that was posted that though.

Speaker 1 (59:26):
That's that's what it was A but I'm but oh
they got cameras in there too. But why why would you?
Why are you dancing? It's like if you injured, O Joe.
You know this, Joe, you know this. If you injured,
if they find if you injured and you out, boy,

(59:46):
they're gonna they're gonna act a fool. There's like you
injured and you out.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
Man.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
You know, a bro, you can't there's certain there's certain
things you have to do, and people that that that's
not in this profession to understand.

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
But I got a life outside of this.

Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
They're paying this man, they're playing this man eighty four
million dollars full guarantee.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
They paying you X amount of dollars. Bro. If you injured,
you can't be.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
Going out to the club.

Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
That simple. It's hard.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
It's hard to go out down head and with a
friend with a sports franchise. Yes, they used to It
used to be before I got there, Like a couple
of years before I got there, le Bronco used to
stay at home the night before the game. But after

(01:00:39):
a couple of DUI's, a couple of you know, people
getting in bikes, they said, now take your ass to
the hotel.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
And so and and not. Oh Joe, you know, if somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Is out before the night before the game, before the game,
the night before the game, or if you're injured, oh yo,
let's just say for the sake, barkingo you o Jo,
you ain't played in three weeks because you in here
but you out. You know, somebody posted that, O Joe, Joe.
You know somebody gonna post that. This is why the

(01:01:13):
Bengals can't win no game. This is why O Joe
can't get back on the field. Look at him right
here at the club now now, Mike Browne, hold on, no,
O Joe.

Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
So on on game days, even if you're at home,
they still make you actually stay at the hotel.

Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
Yeah, you stayed on there, Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:01:32):
Absolutely, absolutely absolutely yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Man, if you didn't, Joe, them jokes gonna be just
gonna get We had guys, go get it, get drunk, Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:01:47):
I dig it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Oh hey, Joe, bad Look here, man, we had some
guys coming on Saturday mornitor bro hit the shower man.
Just go on getting the shower man. You gotta sweat
so that you gotta get that to bout you man,
because I mean you smell like a liquor steel. I mean,
did you did you like take a bathroom barker gin,

(01:02:11):
I mean check your hotels. They used to take something.
They used to take some of them cast mini bars
the way they can. They wouldn't even liquor mini bars.
I'm serious. Yeah, man, Hey, people don't get look yeah,
because my teammates be coming to my coming to my room.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
Hey, let me get something about your mini bar. Let
me get something at your mini bar. No, because people
go think, no, I'm I'm drinking out the mini bar.

Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
No, hell no. And you know they got the mini
bars now, Joe, pick it up. If you touch it,
If you don't put that thing back in like thirty seconds,
that they charge you.

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Hey, they gonna get there. Hey, Hey, hey, I.

Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
Put that I put that little thing on my door.
How over the door? Right? Hey what you want? No,
ain't no, come on shot at Yeah. Oh but I look,
I hate this situation, I really do, because I mean,

(01:03:12):
Wilkins is a phenomenal player. He's going to the Pro
Bowl quick. He's agile, he could rush the passer, he
can stop the run. I mean he is a very
very good defensive lineman. And for it to come, for
it to come like this and see this, you see
what I'm saying, O Joe, This is why they hate
to get guaranteed money. You see, cause you because now

(01:03:35):
you because now they'll take one situation like this and
they try to.

Speaker 7 (01:03:39):
Put it on the other four and use that as
as as as as the poster post the reason on
why we don't do it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
Yeah, but listen, there's more to the story. Obviously we're here.

Speaker 7 (01:03:49):
Oh yeah, for sure, we only you know one side.
We don't know his side. I'm sure his side is valid.
He has a reason for doing what he was doing,
and it's unfortunate it's come to this. He a land
somewhere because it's too much of a too much of
a talent at the position and the defensive tackles that
can be used and use his service somewhere.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
I'm getting healthy, but I'm gonna get that money back.
I'm gonna get that money back. You think you think,
I don't know, he might not get it. I mean
he might look without I mean, the guarantee is a guarantee.
And see that that's the problem that you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
Run into, O Joe.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
You see, now they ain't just trying to take the
guarantee back this year, they're taking trying to take back
all white.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Had a white, he wouldn't just had a surgery though,
and they still gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
Yeah, absolutely, he'de made fifty He had made just a
little less than fifty million dollars for five games. Right,
there's a good chance that he has the surgery again.
He gonna miss this year. So he had another twenty
seven million this year. So basically like thirty thirty seven

(01:04:58):
thirty four and a half million dollars on top of
the money.

Speaker 4 (01:05:01):
That he got.

Speaker 7 (01:05:01):
Mat of fact, not because if you only played five games, right,
and they don't paid him that much already, and you
ain't had surgery in the whole off season and now
be going in the camp, and you might this season
again too if you don't get surgery, shit, probably man.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
The hell with this shit, right, because they looked at
he had surgeon October, so They probably saw this thing
around what say, like March April, and it wasn't healing properly.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
So they say, ain't lifted. Let's go ahead and get that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
And he's like, nah, case, remember Michael Thomas had that injury.
And that was my question, Joe bro. You had the
whole off season, so you got done. So you had
in the January, February, March, April, May, you don't get
the surgery till June, and you going to camp in
July and you don't understand why the saint's upset. Damn,

(01:06:02):
I'm confused, but hey, hopefully they get it resolved
