A five year old girl was left brutally beaten and
sexually assaulted in a field by a group of boys
in a case that has rocked Cleveland, Ohio and sparked
a mom's frantic public demand for justice. The alleged attack

has reportedly ripped apart the victim's life, leaving her with
catastrophic physical and psychological trauma. The victim's mother, and Tavia Kennebrew,
described the immediate horror upon finding her daughter, who was
lured away from a family member's home and assaulted by
a group she claims included three boys aged eight, nine

and ten. A distraught Kennebrew spoke to ABC five News,
I could not recognize my daughter. Her hair was it
was ripped out of her head. She had blood and
bruthes all over her. The child's eyes and mouth were
reportedly filled with blood, and dirt was caked under her
fingernails from the vicious encounter. According to the mother's harrowing allegations,

the boys subjected the five year old to sustain torture,
beating her until she was unconscious. They allegedly ripped out
her hair, urinated on her, sexually assaulted her, and then
shoved sticks down her throat. Finally, they attempted to strangle her,
mom says, using her own shirt, before leaving her in

the field. The girl was eventually found and treated by
emergency services. The girl has since undergone medical intervention and
emotional therapy, with her mother confirming the child is not

the mom. Kennebrew has publicly expressed her crushing guilt on
social media, writing that quote not getting justice from my

victims and as suspect then quote, but investigators have refused
to release specifics, cautioning that doing so could jeopardize the investigation.

a single gunshot wounded the chest. Despite emergency efforts, the
victim died, but not before delivering that final harrowing accusation
