The last thing deputies expected was a jail break worthy
of a cinematic farce, Yet the aftermath is dangerously serious.
Timothy Shane, fifty two, a Rochdale County inmate with a
rap sheet covering everything from felony, meth possession and reckless

driving to armed robbery, turned a midnight medical trip into
a brazen, multi county odyssey of crime. Authorities are now
hunting the desperate fugitive who, while in a hospital gown,
commandeered two vehicles and then, in an audacious final move,
requested an uber to complete his perilous escape. Here's Rochdale

The flight from custody began around one twenty am Monday
at Grady Memorial Hospital, where Shane, booked days earlier on
a litany of charges, including felony firearm offences and fleeing
police during a high speed chase. Was being held for
a suicide evaluation, still clad in a thin blue hospital

gown and shoelas Shane abruptly darted from the room, leaving
his deputy watch behind. The Rochdale County Sheriff's Office instantly
flagged the felons armed and dangerous, a warning that proved
tragically accurate. Shane's first move was to commandeer a Dodge
Durango suv near the hospital, but his reckless driving quickly

ended in a downtown Atlanta crash. It was only later
investigators discovered the catastrophic price of that theft. Shane had
snatched a glock handgun from the disabled vehicle under the herd.
Surveillance near Mercedes Benz Stadium shows the felon hijacking a
silver Pontiac Grand Prix. Deputy's track that stolen car for hours,

only finding it abandoned Tuesday morning in a Henry County
public's parking lot. The digital breadcrumb, however, revealed Shane's ultimate
audacious arrogance. R CSO investigators uncovered that the fugitive had
requested an uber ride, directing it back toward his familiar

haunts in South Rockdale County. Despite canine units swarming the
residents with the search warrant. The trail went cold, and Shane,
now believed to be wearing scavenged red hoodie and a
dark blue pair of pants, remains at large. He is
described as white, five feet nine inches tall with a

buzzed haircut. Crimestoppers released additional photos of Shane online and
said there was a five thousand dollars reward available for
information leading to his cab, but officials warn if you
see him, do not approach him, call nine one one.

documents and posed as a fake real estate investor. Cops
returned to his Dayton Beach home with warrant in hand. Music,
a repeat offender, was cuffed and charged with organized scheme

to defraud and grand theft over one hundred thousand dollars.
He thought he was being a clever con artist, but
his cheeky doormat gave the police all the direction they needed. Now,
