In a gut wrenching incident that has ignited a firestorm
of outrage across New York City, a beloved bodega cat
named Freddie was brutally killed by two pit bulls, an
attack made even more sickening by claims that the dog's

owner and bystanders not only watched, but allegedly cheered on
the mauling. Cat Collective New York is a dedicated volunteer
animal rescue group. The group's director, Emily Pettis, tails Fox
five the scene was one of quote unquote pure evil.
She deliberately set these dogs upon the cat. So we
would like to be able to ascertain her identity so

that we can prevent her from doing this again. And
we want to protect the dogs as well. We want
to make sure that they're no longer in her care.
The carnage, captured on surveillance video, unfolded outside Michelle's Flowers
on one hundred and fifty eighth Street around nine pm,
leaving poor Freddie, a cherished tabby and neighborhood fixture since
his rescue in twenty twenty, to die a tortured death

under a parked car. The pitbull's unidentified female owner and
her companions were reportedly seen smoking, dancing, and even snapping
pictures while mocking Freddie as he lay dying. Local residents,
disgusted by what they witnessed, immediately alerted Cat Collective, who
later arrived to respectfully dispose of Freddy's remains and inform

the flower shops owners who were home during the attack.
The entire community is now reeling, with animal rights activists
fiercely demanding justice for little Freddie. The Cat Collective is
offering a two hundred dollars reward for any information that
could identify the pit bull owner or the bystanders who
allegedly encourage that attack. However, the NYPD has issued a

discouraging statement claiming that quote palm or death to an
animal caused by another animal is not a crime. This
legal loophole has enraged advocates and many residents, who say
this highlights an urgent need for change, particularly with the
stalled Pennies Law, named after a Chihuahua mauled by pitbulls

accountable activists are now pushing harder than ever to legally
classify Bodega cats as pets, aiming to significantly enhance their

Tammy o'dunzie, a twenty three year old British nursing student,
was poised to graduate from Texas Women's University when her
world was completely shattered. Now her grieving family is unleashing

a sixty five million dollar lawsuit against the housing company
and others, claiming their gross negligence led directly to her
shocking murder. Tammy's sister, Georgina o'dunzie, spoke at the news conference.

lifeless body on her apartment's kitchen floor, having suffered nearly
thirty stab wounds. Her roommate, Chester Lamar Grant, forty, was
found nearby with self inflicted injuries and subsequently charged with murder.
The lawsuit filed by the Cox pridea law firm names

meeting mere hours before her murder. In a moment of
unbearable agony, her parents, on speakerphone from law London, listened
helplessly as they heard their daughter's final terrified screams, powerless
to intervene. O'dunzie, known to her nearly fifty thousand TikTok

followers as Tammy Dollars, moved to the US at seventeen
to pursue her nursing passion. Described by her sister Georgina
as a beautiful soul full of light, she was posthumously
awarded her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The lawsuit seeks

tenant screening practices to prevent such a preventable tragedy from

ever happening again. Grant, in the meantime, remains locked up
in Harris County Jail awaiting trial and finally some dogone

year old canine was just doing his job sniffing out
illegal food items from a man's bag, but instead of
a treat, Freddie allegedly was assaulted. Customs and Border Protection
agriculture specialist Melissa Snyder spoke to CBS News. The gentleman
walked up and kicked Freddy in the right side of
his rips no warning at all. That kick was hard

enough to lift the poor pup off the ground ouch. Luckily, though,
it scared him more than anything, and after an eight
hundred and forty dollars vet bill, which the culprit Hahmed
Ali Marie coughed up and pleaded guilty to Freddy is
tail wagging again, ready for duty. This rescue dog, who
thinks work is just a giant game of hide and
seek for treats, has already sniffed out over eight pounds
