They lived together eight together and then, in a nightmare
straight out of a slaughterhouse, packed two of their own
roommates to pieces with meat cleavers while they were still breathing.
The media confronted two defendants at a previous court appearance. Listen,

was before this is now. Jeffrey Mackie, forty and his
girlfriend Alexis Nievis thirty five, stood in a packed Suffolk
County courtroom and have now admitted they ambushed fifty three

year old Malcolm Brown and fifty nine year old Donna
Conneely inside their cramped Amityville rental. Ben spent hours chopping
the bodies into portable chunks in one of the most
stomach turning betrayals ever recorded in Long Island's history. The
brutality unfolded when the housemates turned into cold blooded executioners. Niebes,

consumed by a volcanic murderous rage, initiated the assault on Conneely,
brutally smashing her in the skull with a meat tenderiser
and viciously kicking the woman as she choked on her
own blood. Simultaneously, Mackie fatally stabbed Brown in a planned
preemptive strike. Following the savage slangs in their shared railroad

avenue rental, the pair, along with two other accomplices, commenced
the unthinkable dismemberment. The operation was so repulsive and bloody
that the home's drainage system, including sinks, showers, and toilets,
became horribly choked with human flesh and gore, turning the

house into a biological contamination zone. The four killers then
loaded the use grotesque portable remains into trash bags and
initiated a Macob's scavenger hunt across multiple public spaces. The
horror was first unveiled when unsuspecting high school students stumbled

upon Brown's severed arm near Southard's Pond Park and Babylon
while walking to class. Police quickly converged on the area,
subsequently finding two severed heads in the same park, prompting
a frantic county wide search that unearthed additional limbs in
Babylon Woods and Bethpaid State Park. Facing the full gravity

of their malice, Mackie pleaded guilty to felony charges, securing
a twenty two year sentence. His defense successfully argued he
was the victim of a documented abuse by the victims,
a claim considered under the state's Domestic Violence Survivors Act,
resulting in the lighter sentence. Nieve Is, equally condemned for

the butchery, received an eleven year sentence. Their two housemaid accomplices,
Stephen Brown forty six and Amanda Wallace forty two, also
pleaded guilty to felony charges for assisting in the prior
robbery they committed and the subsequent dumping of the remains,
ensuring they too will face years in prison. All four

are scheduled to be sentenced on January thirteenth. The motive

the stabbing and decapitation of their own two teenage children
inside their Lancaster home, followed by the psychological torture of
their two surviving sons, personal trainer Maurice Taylor nine and
Natalie Sumiko Brothwell forty eight were found guilty of two

counts of first degree murder for the horrifying November twenty
twenty slangs of twelve year old Maurice Junior and thirteen
year old Maliaka. The depravity of the crime goes beyond
the butcherings. Prosecutors confirmed that after the savage slang, the

The appalling crime scene finally came to light a month
later in December. A sickening stench, first reported by neighbors,

prompted calls to authorities. Simultaneously, clients of Taylor, concerned by
his missed Zoom personal training sessions amid the COVID nineteen pandemic,
raised alarms when firefighters responded to the Railroad Avenue house
under the pretense of a gas leak. Emergency responders made
the grizzly discovery inside, they found the two decapitated children's

bodies and the two traumatized, famished survivors. The La County
DA's office secured convictions on the murder counts, including special circumstances,
and two counts of felony child abuse. Taylor and Brothwell
now face life in state prison without the possibility of parole,
plus six years and four months consecutively. They're set for

sentencing on January thirteenth. No clear motive emerged during the trial.
These surviving brothers, now thirteen and fourteen, have since been
placed into foster care. And finally, a cold case that
was buried has finally been unearthed. A Colorado mom who
vanished without a trace was just found right where she disappeared,

shoveling distance from her own front door. Terry Ackerman, fifty six,
vanished in twenty eighteen, leaving behind a shattered family and
a husband who died earlier this year. Police searched everywhere,
but the shocking truth was hidden under literal tons of trash.
The home had devolved into a hoarder horror show filled

with mold and junk. Fate twisted when a hauler finally
attempted to clean out and then just three feet inside
the garage amid the debris, a worker pulled out a
human bone late October brought grim closure. DNA matched the
bones to Terry. The cause and manner of death remained

under review by the coroner's office, but after years of questions,
the truth was hidden in plain sight, and now an
