I'm Nicole Parton. The Police in New York City have
arrested a man suspected of being involved in a disturbing
incident that was all captured on video where he allegedly
sexually assaulted a dead man on a subway train. Felix Rojas,
forty four, has been taken into custody and faces first
degree rape charges, as announced by the NYPD in a

(00:26):
press release. Authorities believe Rojas, who resides in Brooklyn, is
the person seen on surveillance footage engaging in sexual acts
with a corpse on an r train in Lower Manhattan.
The deceased has been identified as thirty seven year old
Jorge Gonzales. Following an interview with his wife, Teresa, to

(00:47):
the New York Daily News, she remembered him as the
love of her life, someone she met at just fifteen.
The couple were married when she was twenty four and
relocated to the United States to build a life together.
She said he came from a rural area but adapted
well to the city. They enjoyed fancy dinners at a
steakhouse in Sushi, and he loved to grab the occasional

(01:09):
taco from a street vendor. His family remembers him as
a hard worker, working construction and restaurant jobs to provide
for his family. According to The New York Times, Gonzales
passed away from natural causes earlier that evening around eight
pm while riding the subway. Following the discovery of his body,
which was lifeless, the suspect, Rojas, allegedly searched through the

(01:32):
dead man's pockets and then engaged in sexual acts with
the corpse before leaving the train. All of this caught
on video. After a week's long search, Rojas voluntarily surrendered
to authorities. He has been scheduled for an arrayment on Monday.
He is currently being held without bond.

How could a beautiful, young first grade teacher be stabbed
twenty times, including in the back die of suicide? Yes,
that was the medical examiner's official ruling after a closed
door meeting. He first named it a homicide. Why what

More crime Injustice News After this and now to Tennessee,
where a woman and her father, who have both admitted
to voluntary manslaughter charges in the death of the woman's spouse,
are featured in a new documentary. A documentary on Netflix
titled A Deadly American Marriage. The film chronicles the events

(02:56):
surrounding Molly Martin and her father, Thomas Martin's of former
FBI agent. In twenty twenty three, the pair entered a
guilty plea to voluntary manslaughter to evade a trial for
the murder of Molly's husband, Jason Corbett, who was thirty
nine years old at the time of his death. Both
Molly and Thomas are from the Knoxville area. According to investigators,

(03:19):
the two used an aluminum baseball bat and a brick
paver in the fatal assault on Corbett, resulting in a
fractured skull and severe injuries to his limbs and torso.
Their defense attorneys argued that they acted in self defense,
claiming they felt their lives were threatened during an altercation
with the man. Corbett died due to his head injuries

(03:40):
at the residence that he shared with his wife. Molly
Martin's in Davidson County, North Carolina. The documentary probes the
Martins account, examining whether Corbett's death was genuinely an act
of self defense or premeditated murder. It also includes exclusive
interviews with Molly and Thomas Martin's as well as Corbett's children,

(04:01):
his sister and brother in law. Originally from Ireland, Corbett
had two children from his first marriage to Margaret Fitzpatrick.
She passed away in two thousand and six due to
complications from an asthma attack. During the Martin sentencing hearing
in twenty twenty three, a former chief medical examiner from
Kentucky testified on their behalf, suggesting that Fitzpatrick's death in

(04:24):
Ireland could have been a homicide and critiqued the Irish
autopsy report for lacking clear cause of death. Two years
after Fitzpatrick's death, Corbett created a profile on an oer
pair agency website that's how he met and married Molly.
That led to a romantic relationship that culminated to the

(04:45):
two moving to North Carolina for a fresh start. In
their initial trial in twenty seventeen, the Martins were convicted
of second degree murder. However, the North Carolina Court of
appeals later overturned the conviction, citing evidentiary errors during the trial,
so the two took a plea to volunteering manslaughter. For
