Speaker 1 (00:00):
Crime Alart hourly update, breaking crime news Now. I'm Jennifer Gould.
Amanda Mason, thirty three did not just stand by while
her three year old son, Matthew was tortured to death.
She actively participated, admitting it was to eliminate the toddler
and quote unquote make room for a baby she planned

(00:21):
to have with her boyfriend. Here's Prosecutor Joshua Sperling at
a previous hearing. On this occasion, he was beaten, I'd
say within an inch of his life, but he was
murdered that night under the care and guidance of both
Maverice and Amanda. Now, the Michigan mom has sealed her fate,
pleading guilty to second degree murder in the savage death

(00:43):
of the boy. Mason's confession detailed a campaign of systematic
torment that ran for two years in the Port Huron
township home she shared with Maurice Hoole, twenty eight, who
was also charged with first degree murder. She even admitted
to a specific sadistic punishment, violently shoving Matthew's head into

(01:05):
a wall during a so called quote unquote military time out,
a twisted routine where the boy was forced to kneel
with his hands on his head. Prosecutors cited allegations of
repeated cruel abuse, including whole striking the child across the
face and locking him away for hours without food or water.

(01:28):
Matthew's agonizing life ended in February twenty eighteen, and autopsy
ruled the cause of death was blunt force trauma with
features of asphyxiation. Though Mason did not admit to the
fatal blow, she confessed to the wilful abandonment of her
child to relentless abuse that ultimately killed him. More horrifically,

(01:51):
she admitted that after the child died, she and Hull
actively conspired to conceal the death's true manner from law
enforcement and protective services for years. She claimed, Whole begged
her to quote take the fall for me, keep me
out of prison. End quote. The motive was laid bare
by prosecutors. Matthew was viewed as a quote unquote impediment

(02:16):
to the couple's plan to have a child together. After
aborting a pregnancy due to cost concerns, they allegedly hatched
a plan to eliminate the child and start fresh. Mason's
plea deal requires her to deliver quote unquote truthful testimony
against Whole at his trial set for early twenty twenty six.

(02:39):
With her one million dollar bond revoked, Mason was immediately
remanded to Saint Clair County Jail. Her sentencing is currently
set for January twentieth. She faces the possibility of life
in prison. More Crime and Justice news. After this, the

(03:01):
site defied all comprehension of childhood innocence. A ten year
old girl wearing a pink coat and face mask stood
accused in a Cleveland juvenile court of crimes typically reserved
for the most monstrous adult offenders, rape and attempted murder.
The charges stem from an abhorrent attack on a five

(03:24):
year old victim. This is not a case of playground
rough housing. It is a clinical account of torture that
left a child fighting for her life before Judge Kristen Sweeney.
Her mother's desperate plea cut through the legal formalities, and
Tavia Kennebrew is demanding the court show no leniency due

(03:46):
to the attacker's ages.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Listen, this type of behavior doesn't deserve grace. They knew
what they were doing and that was okay with that.
They even play, They even play after not caring about
my baby.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Arraignment placed the horrifying charges, including attempted murder, four counts
of rape, felonious assault, kidnapping, and strangulation, into stark public
view in Cleveland, Ohio. The victim's mom watched the proceedings
a portrait of raw anguish while a stony faced family
member wearing a hoodie sat behind the accused. The victim

(04:24):
I did in court as Amory Jones was lured from
a relative's home by the ten year old and her
nine year old accomplice. Officials detailed a sustained savage torture
session conducted in a weed covered field. Prosecutors alleged the
young suspects savagely beat Amory, tore her scalp, stripped her naked,

(04:47):
strangled her until she fell unconscious, and sexually assaulted her
with a makeshift weapon, and urinated on her before abandoning her.
Kennebrew found the child hours later, unresponsive, covered in blood
and bruises, her hair ripped out from her head. The attack,
Kennebru says left a Marie suffering from severe disfigurement, recurring nightmares,

(05:13):
and behavioral problems requiring extensive therapy and surgery. The ten
year old, who offered no statement and whose lawyer denied
all charges, was released on strict home detention with an
electronic ankle monitor pending a competency evaluation. The none year
old accomplice failed to appear, forcing the judge to threaten

(05:37):
an immediate arrest warrant. The case continues and finally she said,
I do his ex wife said, I sue TikTok. Darling
Brenee Kinnard, who has three million plus followers, is facing
a three point five million dollar lawsuit after her husband's ex, a,

(06:00):
Kira Montaque, hit her with a rare alienation of affection suit.
Akira claims Brene followed her man, Timothy Montacue, right into
a North Carolina courtroom. She alleges the content creator's Day
in the Life vlogs were really day in the marital
wreckage videos flaunting their romance while the Montacus were still

(06:23):
technically married. Talk about filtering the truth, but Brene representing
herself and this legal drama got a boost when Timothy
testified their marriage was already on airplane mode, saying they
were just quote unquote roommates. The legal drama has gone
viral as Canard tries to edit this massive, multi million
dollar problem out of her feed. Will she keep her

(06:46):
husband's affection or just her follower count. Stay tuned for
