Here's the latest in the disappearance of nine year old
Melody Buzzard from California. Her mother, Ashley Buzzard, appeared in
court Thursday, where a felony false imprisonment charge against her
in a separate case was dismissed. This according to her attorney,

Adrian Galvin, authority say Buzzard, forty, has been uncooperative in
the search for her daughter, who vanished earlier last month
during a road trip with her mother. The false imprisonment
charge stemmed from an incident on November six in California.
Prosecutors alleged Buzzard prevented a man named Tyler Brewer from

leaving her home and threatened him with a box cutter.
Brewer testified that he contacted Buzzard in late October posing
as a legal professional and visited her home several times
offering help, but during a cross examination, the defense challenged
Brewer's credibility, noting that he was sharing information with law
enforcement while communicating with Buzzard. Ultimately, Judge Stephen Dunkle dismissed

the charge and Buzzard is no longer under electronic monitoring,
free to come and go as she will. Meanwhile, the
search for Melody continues. Investigators say the girl was last
seen October nine near the Colorado Utah border. Surveillance video
shows Melody and her mother wearing wigs at a car

rental agency before leaving on a multi state trip. They
traveled in a white twenty twenty four Chevy Malibu, which
had a California license plate swapped for a New York
plate during the trip. Authorities believe the car passed through Utah, Arizona, Nevada,

is described as four to six, weighing sixty pounds, with brown,

degree murder charges after he allegedly shot his girlfriend in
the head during an argument, then transported her body to
a police station in the bed of his pickup truck.
Joshua Aneia, thirty six, is accused of killing thirty two
year old Jessica Gooseman, whose brother David expressed his anguish,

stating that Anea treated his sister like road kill when
he loaded her into his truck. According to the Phoenix Police,
the incident occurred at Annea's home. Court documents reveal that
while Anneya and Goozman were in bed, a gun that
he kept under the pillow fell on the floor, alarming Gouzman.
An argument ensued, and Anaea alleges that when he reached

for the gun, Guzman attempted to grab it from him,
resulting in a struggle that led to two gun shots
being fired, one of which struck his girlfriend fatally in
the head. Rather than contact law enforcement, and Aya reportedly

the Maryville Mountain Precinct, where he approached officers in a
parking lot around five am on Tuesday. Phoenix Police Sergeant

before requesting legal representation. David Gooseman shared his family struggle
to intervene in Jessica's relationship with the man, citing her

Portage County Police are asking for the public's help and
locating a thirty four year old woman from the town
of Alban who has been missing for nearly a week.
Samantha Sackman was last heard from on November fourteen. According
to a news release from Sheriff Mike Lucas, Sackman, who

has medical issues that require timely evaluation, left her home
before she disappeared. Police are asking anyone with information to
be on the lookout. She was traveling in her red
Ford Fusion. The vehicle was located later the same day
near the four thousand block of North New Lisbon Avenue.

is described as five to one, about one hundred and
seventy five pounds, red hair, and blue eyes. She was
last seen wearing a black and pink sweatshirt and dark
