I'm Nicole Parton. A mass shooting in Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina resulted in one fatality and the eleven injuries after
gunman opened fire at a bustling tourist destination. As reported
by law enforcement authorities, witnesses who were on vacation in
the area spoke to WMBX.

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the shooting occurred
just before midnight in the city's vibrant entertainment area, where
officers were responding to a disturbance involving multiple individuals. During
the chaotic scene, gunfire erupted, prompting an officer to discharge
his weapon in response to the immediate threat. An update

from the department's face book page revealed that eleven people
were shot in are currently receiving medical care. Sadly, the
individual struck by the officer's gunfire has died from his injuries.
Horiy County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard identified the deceased as
eighteen year old Jerius Davis from Bennettsville. Officials confirmed that

the officer involved in the shooting was unharmed. Myrtle Beach
Mayor Brenda Bethune expressed her gratitude for the officer's quick action,
stating that it likely prevented further tragedy. Quote. Our officer
acted swiftly upon witnessing the altercation and gunfire, which I
believed saved lives. Bethune remarked the situation could have escalated

much worse. She also noted her own presence on Ocean
Boulevard just about an hour before the incident, emphasizing that
she would not have been there had she not felt safe.
This was an isolated event, she continued to say, we
had a large crowd enjoying the boulevard, and while we
can't predict people's acts actions, we also can't retreat and

do nothing. Myrtle Beach is a wonderful destination and I
do not wish to downplay what occurred, she said. Congresswoman
Nancy Mace, representing South Carolina, expressed her sorrow saying we
are devastated by the tragic shooting in Myrtle Beach. The
police department added we extend our heartfelt prayers to everyone affected.

Authorities are urging anyone with information or footage from the
incident to reach out to the South Carolina Law Enforcement
Division SLED or the Myrtle Beach Police Department at eight

Dentists from Wisconsin was tragically shot and killed in his
Milwaukee apartment complex following a confrontation over loud music. Doctor
Aikintundu Boden, forty one, lost his life at the hands
of his neighbor, twenty seven year old Keana McGowan. The
incident began when McGowan was styling her hair and playing

her music loudly. Doctor Boden, who was watching a basketball
game at the time, came to her apartment and asked
her to turn down the music. According to a criminal
complaint obtained by WISN, doctor Boden knocked on the door
leading McGowan to feel threatened as she perceived him to
quote be a large man who appeared to be intoxicated,

yelling When McGowan agreed to lure the music. Tensions escalated
further after she closed the door, doctor Boden allegedly began
kicking at it forcefully, prompting McGowan to fear he might
break in. She says, in a panic, she grabbed a firearm.
She then opened the door and shot doctor Boden once
in the abdomen, resulting in his immediate death. As doctor

Boden lay face down on the doorway, McGowan fled the
apartment building, where officers later found her screaming for help.
They arrived to discover doctor Boden bleeding from his injury.
He was pronounced dead on the scene, and autopsy confirmed
that the bullet had severed multiple organs, resulting in his death.
McGowan was arrested in charged with second degree reckless homicide

with a dangerous weapon. She could face twenty five years
in prison and a one hundred thousand dollars fine. She
is currently being held without bond and now to New York,
where the state police are searching for a missing man
from a local Amish community in Floyd State Police a
forty four year old Roman Troyer of the Floyd area

was last seen on Camden Rod Road around ten am
on Sunday. He is described as five nine weighing about
one hundred and ninety pounds with red haired red beard.
He was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket and
blue pants and a straw hat. Anyone with information is
asked to contact the State Police at three one five
