I'm Drew Nelson, a silver lining for a paraplegic man
in Oklahoma City regaining his mobility after strangers step in
to replace the medical gear stolen from him during two
home break ins. Alan Prudome said thieves broke into his
Southeast Oklahoma City apartment twice in one week, taking his wheelchair, medication, cash,

(00:28):
and the hand controls he used to drive a vehicle.
He told kfo R he woke up during the second
burglary to find two men inside. One tried to pull
the bag off from around his waist, while another came
out of his closet carrying a box of his stuff.
Eight days earlier, Prudome had returned home to find his
front door pride open and his valuables gone. He said

(00:50):
the second break in left him terrified to stay alone.
Police have arrested one suspect, identified as Johnny Johnson the
third and charged him with first degree burglary. Officers said
he lived in the same complex. They urged residents to
use good locks cameras and motion lights. Prudom said he
survives on disability and can't easily replace what was stolen.

(01:11):
After Allen's story aired, a former serviceman swooped in.

Speaker 2 (01:15):

medical equipment, so we jumped all over it.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Prudom thanked the community for its kindness and said he
plans to close his GoFundMe, which raised ten eight hundred
and twenty two dollars of its sixteen thousand dollars goal.
Prudom wrote that the donations will help replace personal items,
cover moving costs after his lease was terminated due to
the burglaries, and possibly go toward a vehicle that he
can use without help. More crime and justice news after

this A Maryland man faces new charges after police say
he used handwritten threats to demand sex from women outside
Cockysville businesses. Baltimore County Police announced on Monday that twenty
year old Micah Narte now faces charges of attempted kidnapping,

(02:17):
attempted carjacking attempted arm carjacking and attempted first degree rate.
He remains held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention
Center with a bail review set for today. Narte was
first arrested at Sunday for disorderly conduct after police say
he approached women outside Cockysville area stores and made them
read from a notebook that contained sexual demands and threats.

(02:39):
One woman told officers she was on her way to
work at wah Wah on York Road when he stopped
her and showed her the pages. The writing said quota,
I will shoot you with a gun and kill you.
Come with me and find a place to have sex,
and do your best and don't do anything about it,
and don't tell the police, and don't tell anyone even
if you have the opportunity. Police said they found four

(02:59):
notebooks Nart's back. Each notebook contained similar threats, suggesting that
he was armed. Officers confirmed he did not have a
weapon when he was arrested. At the time of his arrest,
police said there were no reports of him carrying out
a physical or sexual assault, but investigator said this was
not the first time Nartes had made written threats, charging
documents show he previously told police in Washington, DC that

(03:22):
he wanted to speak to the president, while carrying a
notebook saying he wanted to shoot someone. Robert William Fisher
remains one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, accused of
murdering his wife and two young children before blowing up
their Scottsdale, Arizona home and vanishing in two thousand and one.
Police said Fisher, thirty nine at the time, killed his wife,

(03:42):
Mary h thirty eight, and their two children, Brittany twelve
and Bobby ten, late on the night of April ninth
of two thousand and one. Neighbors heard shouting from the
inside of the house around ten pm. The next morning,
at exactly eight forty two, the home exploded. The blast
was so strong it flattened the roof and shook how
half a mile away. Firefighters found the bodies of Mary

(04:04):
and the children in their beds. Their throats had been
slashed and Mary had been shot in the back of
the head. Investigators said Fisher had pulled the gas line
to the furnace and left a candle burning, creating a
delayed explosion meant to destroy the evidence. He was last
seen on an ATM camera that night withdrawing two hundred
eighty dollars with his wife's Toyota four Runner visible beside him.

(04:25):
Ten days later, that forerunner was found deep in the
Tontau National Forest near Young, Arizona. The family's dog, Blue
was alive and under the vehicle. Inside were Fisher's Oakland
Raiders cap and other personal items, but no sign of him.
His tracks led to the nearby Fort Apache Reservation, where
the trail ended. Fisher had served in the Navy and

(04:45):
later worked as a firefighter and surgical technician. He was
known as a strict and controlling husband. Friends said he
feared divorce and once said he could not live without
his family. He was charged with three counts of first
degree murder and one count of arson, and in June
of two thousand and two, the FBI named him the
four hundred and seventy fifth edition to its ten Most
Wanted List. Agents describe him as an avid hunter and

(05:08):
outdoorsman with survival skills that may have helped him evade capture.
Fisher would be sixty four years old today, six feet
tall about one hundred ninety pounds. When he disappeared, white
with blue eyes, brown hair, and surgical scars on his
lower back. He had a gold crown on an upper
left tooth and is considered armed and extremely dangerous. The
FBI continues to offer a reward of up to one

(05:28):
hundred thousand dollars for information leading to his arrest. Tipsters
