I'm Sidney Sumner, a Wisconsin man has been found guilty
of the murder of his date by a Milwaukee County
jury and will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Sixteen months after nineteen year old Shawnda Robinson's remains were
found around Milwaukee, her date, thirty four year old Maxwell Anderson,
was sentenced for her death and dismemberment. Circuit Judge Laura

Cravello gave Anderson a lifetime in prison without the possibility
of parole. Prosecutors at Anderson and Robinson went on their
first date on April first, twenty twenty four, at a
Milwaukee seafood restaurant he used to work at. Our Friends

A month away from turning twenty, Shade Robinson tells a
maintenance worker at her building that she's excited about her
first date with thirty three year old Maxwell Anderson. Robinson
texts Anderson about where to eat and tells him she's
feeling seafood. Anderson takes shaw Day to a place he
used to work, the Twisted Fisherman. After dinner, they spend
some more time together, having drinks at Duke's on Water.

Around nine am, April second Shade, Robinson's friend and coworker
reports her missing to Milwaukee police. The friend says Robinson
isn't returning texts or calls and didn't show up to
work that morning. The friend shows officers a snapchat that
Robinson posted the night before, showing Robinson was at a
sports bar, Duke's on Water the night before. Officers note
that earlier that morning, Robinson's blue Honda Civic was found

A parkgoer reports finding a severed human leg. According to
a post from cut a Hay Sheriff's Office, The limb
was found in or near the water east of the
golf course near the pump house.

A Milwaukee police officer who was aware of our investigation
raised the possibility that the leg may be related to
a missing person investigation that they were conducting, and that
miss in person was Sade Robinson. The severed leg has

been preliminarily identified as belonging to Miss Robinson.

With the remains identified as Shaunda Robinson. The Milwaukee County
Sheriff's Office obtained Robinson's phone records. Location data showed Robinson's
phone at Anderson's home until twelve forty five am April second.
The phone then traveled to Warnamont Park, where it died
at four thirty five am. The phone was recovered and
Robinson's torch car that morning. A neighbor's security camera also

captured two figures entering Anderson's backyard and Robinson's car later
departing Anderson's home. Anderson was once again caught on camera
at Warnamont Park, climbing down the bluff to the beach
several times. Anderson was then seen boarding a bus just
after Robinson's car was set on fire and returning home

Anderson was subsequently arrested and charged on April twelfth, twenty
twenty four, with homicide, mutilating a corpse and Arson. Anderson
was then tried and found guilty of all charges on
June sixth. Anderson, a Navy veteran and bartender, claimed his
innocence at his sentencing, hearing.

sincere condolences go out to the Shade his family, as
well as everyone else affected by this tragedy. That being
said here, honor, I took this to trial without everyone's
trying to make a plea deal of any kind, because
I did not commit these crimes, and so I plan

to appeal my convictions while I hope and pray that
further investigations not only prove my innocence, but find and
deliver true justice.

was things my daughter did that many adults were not
