A Utah mother says she lived in fear for weeks as her ex-husband allegedly tried to burn her house down – not once, but four separate times – while her two children slept inside. An NYPD detective and mother of three died a week after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift and liposuction in Colombia, prompting her husband to demand answers from doctors and investigators. down not once, but four separate times while her two
children slept inside. Del mar Ray Barney, aged thirty eight,
of Richfield, was arrested in charged with attempted murder and
aggravated arson after police say he threw a Molotov cocktail

Thirty in the morning. Woke up to crashing, noise and
flames inside my house.

Speaking to KSTU, Katie Barney recalls the terrifying moment the
flame spread inside her home.

I got woken up to a big loud bang and
some scuffling, and I could smell gas and then I
smelled smoke. So I grabbed my phone and ran outside,
seen the fire and called nine one one.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Barney says she had already endured three earlier fire incidents
dating back to September. In the first, she wasn't home
and learned about the blaze from a neighbor. In the second,
she was awakened by a loud noise and smelled the smoke.
By the fourth she said she feared the worst.

Like I'm terrified it's going to escalate. Something worse is
gonna happen, like my kids were in the house.

Police said. Surveillance cameras caught the suspect returning to the
home again and again ignoring a protective order. A third time,
it looks like he spotted the cameras and left, and
the fourth time he didn't care. That's Richfield Police Chief
Trent Lloyd. According to court documents, the final attack involved
an incendiary device tossed through the victim's bedroom window, igniting

her bed and setting the room on fire while her
children slept nearby. Officers later found shoe prints and gloves
matching those seen on the victim's security footage, leading to
Bonnie's arrest. Chief Lloyd calls in a miracle that no
one was hurt. Katie says she's grateful to detectives who
worked her case and hopes to finally sleep peacefully. More

mother of three dies a week after undergoing a Brazilian
butt lift and lip as suction in Colombia, prompting her
husband to demand answers from doctors and investigators. Detective Alicia Stone,
aged forty, who was a thirteen year veteran of the
NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau, traveled to Cali, Colombia, for a
gluteal fat transfer procedure on October sixteenth. She was recovering

at a hotel when she was found unresponsive around six
thirty am on Thursday. Stone was rushed to Fondacion via
a de Ley hospital, where she was pronounced dead less
than an hour later. Her death was listed as resulting
from an unspecified cardiac arrest. Her husband, Michael Stone, said
he received a call from a doctor in Colombia who
could not explain what had happened. He told The Daily News,

quote the doctor who called me from Columbia just called
me and told me my wife had passed away. She
didn't have any information to tell me when I was
asking her. Something just doesn't add up. He said his
wife was quote perfectly fine before the surgery, and that
she spoke with family members the day before her death,
sounding healthy and in good spirits. Stone had reportedly been

taking anticoagulants and pain medication during her recovery, which is
standard for post operative care following liposuction and fat transfer procedures.
Colombian officials say she was staying in a hotel rather
than a medical facility during recovery, which is quite dangerous
but common in international cosmetic surgery. Cases like this. Authorities
in both Columbia and the United States have launched investigations.

The US Embassy in bogatav and Colombian National Police are
working with local health officials to review Stone's medical records
and interview clinic staff. Her husband said the NYPD has
sent a detective to Columbia to help find out what happened.
Medical experts say Brazilian butt lift surgeries bbls are among

plastic surgeries. The most common fatal complication is a fat embolism,
which can occur when fat enters the bloodstream during injection.

deceived Internet users into believing their computers were infected, prompting
them to buy bogus security programs with names such as
Antivirus two thousand and eight and Virus Remover two thousand

and is believed to have tyed both Sweden and Ukraine.

and brown eyes. He speaks English, Hindi, and Portuguese and
has ties to Brazil, Canada, India, and Ukraine. Both men

were indicted in Chicago on May twenty sixth of twenty
ten for wire fraud, conspiracy to commit computer fraud, and
computer fraud. The FBI continues to offer a twenty thousand
dollars reward for information leading to their arrest and conviction.
