Police in Wichita confirmed that a woman seen being dragged
from a front porch and a viral video is alive
and safe. Detectives say the woman called them Tuesday afternoon
and said she was the person in the footage. Officers
met the thirty five year old at another location, then
brought her to city Hall for an interview. She told

(00:22):
investigators she lives near where the video was recorded and
said her boyfriend was the man in the clip. Police
said they now believe the case is one of domestic violence.
The woman had no major injuries. Detective said the case
will be sent to prosecutors for possible charges. The video,
taken around two am Sunday on the fourteen hundred block
of North Falluccio, shows the woman walking toward a porch

and calling out Kevin, before a man runs up, grabs
her and forces her toward the street. Yeah. Both people
then disappear from frame. The footage quickly spread online, prompting
dozens of tips and hundreds of man hours of police work.

Police urged the woman to contact them, saying their top
concern was her safety. The Wichita Police Department thanked the
public for sharing the video, saying it likely led the
woman to come forward. Detectives continue to gather evidence and
conduct interviews. The names of the woman and her boyfriend
have not been made public. More crime and justice news

After this, Milwaukee police released dashcam video showing the moments
before an off duty officer shot and killed a twenty

critical here.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Lamar said he and Wilkes's mother saw the video for
the first time the day after the shooting.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
When we saw the video for the first time, completely silent,
