A recorded phone call between Kanye West and Sean Combs has been used in a new song.

The recording leaked just as West released his latest track, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine. The song features samples from the jailhouse call, a verse from Combs’ son, Christian “King” Combs, and West’s daughter, North. As West faces backlash from ex-wife Kim Kardashian over North’s inclusion, a source claims Combs now feels like “he’s collateral damage.” The source added that Combs believed the call was a sincere expression of concern for him and his family and is now embarrassed to be caught in the crossfire.

Kardashian is fighting to stop West from releasing the song, calling it “irresponsible” and a blatant disregard for North’s future and reputation. She first reminded West that she holds a trademark for their daughter's name, then sought emergency mediation with a judge. West did not appear. Although his X post featuring the song was quickly deleted, fans had already reposted the audio across the internet.

As Combs’ trial approaches, his defense team is pushing to block evidence from the courtroom. Attorneys argue that the widely circulated video of Combs attacking then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was altered to misrepresent the altercation. Prosecutors, however, claim to have the original, unedited footage from the Intercontinental Hotel. Supporting their case is Combs’ own apology video, which appears to confirm the video's authenticity. Defense attorneys are also challenging evidence seized in federal raids, accusing investigators of “grossly misrepresenting facts” to obtain search warrants.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Diddy's Kanye double cross as Kim Kardashian is dragged into
Shawn Combs's vortex. This as comes claims the Cassie Ventura
beat down video was doctored and a bombshell in a
Jay Z sex attack case, one lawyer quits and another
high profile lawyer seemingly forced out with his tail between

(00:31):
his legs. I'm Nancy Grace, this is Crime Stories. Thank
you for being with us.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Despite a mounting pile of evidence and seemingly endless scream
of lawsuits. P Diddy, please not guilty in federal sex
trafficking case.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Did Kanye double cross? Ditty with friends like that? Who
needs enemies?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Listen?

Speaker 3 (00:55):
West shove support last month turned into an anti Semitic tirade,
but once again, Comb's is caught leaning on West for support.
In a jail call, Combs reportedly wasn't where Wes was recording.
Combs's sudden display of friendship with the controversial rapper seems
to highlight how isolated Combs has become as the allegations
against him pile up. Several other celebrity pals have made

(01:18):
it clear they want nothing to do with Combs, especially
jay Z, who fought bitterly to have his name cleared
from a lawsuit alleging the rape of a thirteen year
old girl.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Joining me an all star panel, but first two crime stories,
investigative reporter Sidney Summer, let me understand what happened, so
Kanye Ugh, after his anti Semitic tyret, I can hally
even speak his name.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I feel like I'm eating a dirt sandwich.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Kanye called Combs behind bars, and Combs thinks he's getting
all this support and they're having this conversation and then
let me.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Understand what happens, Sidney.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Then Kanye turns around, he secretly records the phone call
and uses it in a t.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
That's correct, Nancy, That's exactly what happened. And it's not
clear as Comb's is specifically upset about the samples being
used in a song. Their conversation seems to involve music,
and Comb's wanting Kanye to get back to publishing music
and that being his focus. But Colmbs now feels slightly betrayed.

(02:22):
He's been pulled into this drama with Kanye West's ex
wife Kim Karashian, and that's the christ.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Hold on Sydney you had me at Comb's feels betrayed
because he's in a conversation Willingly with Kanye, and Kanye
secretly or not secretly records him and uses it to
make money on a track. Okay, listen.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Kanye's latest song, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine features
a jailhouse phone call a verse from Combs, sun Christian
Kingcomb's and West daughter north West faces backlash your ex
wife Kim Kardashian over north sinking allusion. Combs now feels
like he's collateral damage. Combs thought the call came from
a place of genuine concern for him and his family

(03:07):
and is now embarrassed to be pulled into the crossfire.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, there's a whole lot brewing with Kim k Kim Kardashian,
and the last thing did he needs is Kim Kardashian
and her mother. Chris Jenner three inches up his tail
pipe joining me right now. Rob Shooter, Rob Shooter, host
of Naughty but Nice podcast, former publicist for Sean Comb's,

(03:32):
author of The Forward Answer, Rob Shooter.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I want you to hear. I want you to hear.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
What's on this track and what's on this secretly recorded
phone call.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Listen see.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Okay, you know what shooter, hold your horses, because I
definitely need a shrink right now.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
More than I need.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Holmes is Diddies publicist hold it joining me. High profile
soschoanalyst joining us from LA author of deal Breaker. You
can see her now on Peacock Doctor Bethany Marshall. Guys,
that was exclusively from the Shade Room, Bethany. We just
played Seawan Comb's speaking apparently illicitly recorded to Kanye, and

(04:26):
he's saying, this is effing sad. I'm puff Daddy in jail.
This is effing sad as a mother effort. The devil
is a liar. Okay, what puff Daddy in jail? What
is he that shocked? If the allegations are true, he

(04:46):
has been raping women for years and years and years
and years and getting away with it because they were
afraid to come forward. And now it's sad that he's
in jail. Help me out here, Nancy.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
He's shocked because he's gotten away with it for so
long because he thinks that what he's doing is perfectly reasonable.
He thinks it reasonable to sex traffic miners and sex
workers and women he thinks it's reasonable to bring men
in to have sex with women so he can watch.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
He thinks it reasonable to have a.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Huge room liigned with mirrors so he can view sex
from every angle. And all these comments are so self referential.
They're all about him. There's nothing about the victims. There's
nothing really about his children. And I would say he's
doing what criminals do. Is something called shared paranoia, where
he tries to align with Kanye against the world, against

(05:39):
the legal experts, against the law, thinking that both of
them are just buddies in this together and everybody is
out to get them.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Hey, guys, I.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Want to hear that one more time. Is effing said
I'm puff daddy in jail? What okay, let's hear that again.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
That say, hmm okay.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Well it doesn't end there. And we're getting that from
the shade room. You can find it online and there's more.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Let's listen, we're going bring.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
It on family in and become a king and we're
supposed to be.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, absolutely, the kings were supposed to be. All right,
this is Combs.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Did he speaking from his jail cell talking about the
king he is supposed to be?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Again?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
That is exclusively from the Shade Room. Thank you the
Shaved Room. I'm gonna beat this and get next to you.
We're gonna raise our families and become the Kings that
we're supposed to be.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Okay, out to Rob Shooter joining me.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Former publicist for Shawn Combs, Shooter, can you.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Shed any light on this?

Speaker 2 (06:57):
The Kings were supposed to be currently live like a
king ever since you told me? He called for cheesecake
at three a m. And somebody trotted out to get
it downtown Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
What do you make of it, Shooter.

Speaker 8 (07:09):
I'm not at all surprised. This is who Puffy is.
He believes that the rules.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Do not pusy now is it Puffy?

Speaker 9 (07:17):
Now?

Speaker 8 (07:18):
It's many different names.

Speaker 10 (07:19):
I always called him puff Puff, but lots of different
names then, Nancy, I'm including some, but you go right ahead.
Well you're right, and I've got a few names that
I shouldn't say on TV too about him.

Speaker 8 (07:30):
But path did he whatever you want to call him,
This is who he is. He really believes he's very
specially doesn't surprise me at all that he's completely per
plagues that he is in jail. He thinks he's above
the law. He's not, and now he can't get his
head around it. It is a shocking woodio that you've

(07:51):
got your hands on via the Shade Room. But that
is him, that is who he thinks he is. This
is from the horses mads. He cannot believe this has
happened to him.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, and another thing, Rob Shooter, which I'll circle back
to when we get into the whole North drama of
Kim Kay's daughter being included on some tracks and even recording.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
When the Tate Brothers, you know, those two.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Guys charged with all those misogynist attacks, We're gonna be
hanging around no way in HG double L Would I
have my children around the Tate Brothers?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Are you kidding me? Kim k I had to go
for an emergency mediation.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Thanks Combs, straight out to Lynn Shaw. Lynn is the
founder and executive director Lynn's Warriors, which is dedicated to
ending human trafficking and sex attacks on girls and women.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
She's the host of Lynn's Warriors on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Lynn I think part of the reason that Sean Combs
is saying all this about how effing sadness is that
Puffy's in jail is because, as you know, oh, during
all of the free coughs and more. Women, as doctor
Bethny Marshall was describing, were nothing.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
They were nothing to him. They were drugged. They had
no idea what was going on.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Many of them they were looped up with their whole
bodies covered in baby oil and in their semiconscious state,
they're reposed in very let me say, revealing positions and video.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Just just hold that thought for a moment.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
You go to a party and you think, oh my stars,
there's going to be all these celebrities there. What if
I meet this one? What if I meet that one?
And you wake up with your anus, your rear end,
and your vagina hurting. Your body has been covered in
baby oil, your head's hurting, you feel nauseous, and then

(09:56):
you realize that you have been posed in different extra
rated positions so Sean Combs could get a better angle
with a group of guys standing around with professional lights
and video cameras as you were raped. Okay, these women

(10:16):
were like a paper cup to him.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
They meant nothing.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
But because of them coming forward, he is behind bars
and he can't stand it, and I need.

Speaker 11 (10:26):
A shower after hearing all of that, the saddest thing victims,
alleged victims, all victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. They
are keeping their eye on this story. Just the other day,
I ran into somebody who used to used to work
in the wrap world, a woman now, who said, I
really wish they could get to the bottom of this

(10:48):
if they only knew what really went on. We are
missing the point here and all of this discussion, the
focus has shifted. This is the Dirty Diddy playbook. Put
it all on him. We can all forget about the victims,
survivors of these attacks. And this is exactly why victims
never want to come forward, because they never are either believed,

(11:10):
they're ashamed, or the focus is always on the alleged perpetrator.
And I don't blame them. I don't blame them. So
let's see where this goes. But you know what the
feeling on the streets here in New York City is,
this will not go anywhere. He's got power and money
and he will not be held accountable.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
And I'm telling you right now, cases are already being dismissed.
So I'm wondering if that's the beginning of a dominant effect.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Crime stories with Nancy Grace.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Straight out to Dodger and Dwayne Hendrick joining US former
associate Warden at NBC in Brooklyn, former senior Warden with
the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons and
founder president of a New Daylight Foundation, and he's the
author of who Are You Say It?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
See It? Say It, and Seize It? Doctor Hendrix, could
you explain something to me?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
How is it that Sean comes is having these long
conversations with Kanye of all people that just did all
those anti semitic rants and is selling t shirts with
swastikas on them.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Why is it that he can.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Have this long conversation with him and then Kanye tape it.
I mean, is this from a public phone? How does
that work? Or does he have a surreptitious cell phone?

Speaker 12 (12:40):
No, the phone calls, each phone call is fifteen minutes
at length at a time, so any call would only
be that length. In terms of the recording, all phone
calls are recorded by the US government and the inmates
and the persons that take those calls from inmates from
the jails. Know that one thing I did not here

(13:00):
and the clip that you played, I didn't hear.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
The recording, did you, Yes, exactly, guy.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
So what you're talking about, because I was listening, doctor Hendrickson,
I never heard this call is originating from a federal
correctional institute, which tells me it is a syruptitious cell phone.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
It could be.

Speaker 12 (13:21):
Now here's the question.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
If oh, look that tracking you, I'm saying nothing but
tailhold and elbows.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
You're running.

Speaker 7 (13:31):
Listen to me.

Speaker 12 (13:32):
So the question is New York is a one party
consent state in terms of recording a call. Care Now,
if the call did come from a federal prison, there
is no law against the person receiving the call. However,
if this was what you're doing, if this was from myself.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Killing me, that one party consent, which doesn't matter because it's.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
From a jail. I'm asking you it was just a
syruptisious cell phone that they're wetting.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Letting comes have behind bars. I never heard the jail.
This call originates from a federal correctional institute.

Speaker 12 (14:09):
Now we need to go to the shame room and
ask the full conversation, because ultimately we would only know
that if we have the full full clip, So that
will be the only way we'll know.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
What he was.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Doctor hendricks don't be dragging the shade room into it.
They just got a hold of the tape after Kanye
leaked it. The issue is in the jail. Shawn Holm's
getting special privileges because this clearly is not on a jail.
It's not on a jail phone. It has to be
from a cell phone.

Speaker 7 (14:40):
No, he's not calling from a cell phone.

Speaker 12 (14:42):
He'd be the last person.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Where is the recording. I've never had one.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Jail call, and I've taught to inmates for hours and
hours and hours not wasted time because usually they would
give me information on other cases. But that said, you
can't go what a minute without hearing that recording saying
this call originates from a federal correctional institute.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
I didn't hear that.

Speaker 12 (15:04):
Again, those were short clips that we saw. So the
only way we would be able to verify that if
we were able to hear the clip for more than
forty five seconds to a minute or a minute and
fifteen seconds. But I highly doubt that that gentleman had
a cell phone in that prison.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
I guarantee you as not.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Let's listen to more of the call between Kanye and Sean.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Comes straight out to you.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Joshua Ritter joining US High profile, criminal defense attorney, former prosecutor,
and host of Courtroom Confidential on YouTube. We're hearing the
exclusive sound from the Shade Room. Question to you, I
believe that there has been a collaboration between Kanye and
Shawn Comes, and we talked about it weeks ago. I

(16:02):
think you were with us where they're doing some sort
of a monetary enterprise to make money and low and
behold surprise. Now Seawn Comes is featured on Kanye's truck.
This jail call is on the truck, and you know
they're going to make money off of it.

Speaker 7 (16:20):
Rit or maybe well somebody's going to be making money
off of it. I don't know if Sean Combs is
going to be making any money off of it, but
it sounds like Kanye is certainly taking advantage of this
relationship or whatever you want to call it, this sad
sort of friendship. The only person in the world who
probably is actually taking Seawan Combs's phone calls is Kanye.

(16:44):
And you know, good luck to Shawan Combs on that.
It seems like it's just being used to exploit him.
But can I get back to the point about whether
or not this is a cell phone that was surpiciously
snuck into that prison. I mean, this happens all the time.
I hear what's being said that they're searching him, they're
keeping an eye on him. I don't think the guards

(17:06):
are providing him with a phone. But that's cell phones,
contraband cell phones are currency inside of these lock up facilities.
So the idea that a person with his types of
connections and his types of wealth and power and influence
outside of those walls would be able to somehow enagle
his way into getting a cell phone, I don't think
is outside of the realm of possibility. He did.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
His former chief of staff breaks silence of this a
slew of allegations. As the embattled music mogul awaits trial
for sex trafficking charges in New York.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
And while he's waiting behind bars, counting down to the
day of trial, he's on the phone.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
With none other than conne Yea.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Who reportedly secretly records the call to use to his
own benefit. Let's take a listen to the trap an.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Nobody and wing Mom, and.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
He actually used the jail recording the conversation in his
track that from easy.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
I'm a little.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Confused, sending summer let me understand something, sending summer joining
US Crime Stories investigative reporter that is comes behind bars
claiming that no one's taking care of his children while
he's behind bars.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Yes, Nancy, that's correct.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Okay, let me understand something. To high profile defense attorney
Joshua Ritter, Uh, isn't that what happens when you go
to jail on a federal indictment, a multi count indictment
of sex trafficking, raping, and abusing drugging women.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Your children don't go to jail with you, right?

Speaker 2 (18:59):
He said, that's a thing you should think about before
you rape somebody.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
I mean, yes, I don't know how else.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Stand you're laughing about you think the victims thing? This
is funny? And bodies with my children? Yeah, think about
that before.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
You drug somebody and slaughter them up with baby oil.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
What about that?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Ritter?

Speaker 7 (19:19):
I think, listen, you're you're absolutely right. But I mean,
let's give him some credit here, right, I mean, he
is still caring about his family. He's caught in a
position where the only person in the world who he
can talk to about this looks like it's Kanye. And
Kanye is even taking that phone call and exploiting it
and trying to profit off of it. So I mean, listen,

(19:40):
the man's behind bars, probably taking taking whatever phone calls
you can actually make, and trying to do the best
that he can to protect her. Stop children. I don't
want much more I can say.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I think I just threw up a little bit in
my mouth.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Okay, you're saying feel sorry for Sean Tom Okay, you
know Linnshaw. Isn't that something that an alleged rapist should
think about beforehand?

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I mean, how many women can you attack and video.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
For Pete's sake, State's Exhibit number one and think you're
never gonna get caught. And now he's whining he's not
there to take care of his children. Think about that
before you commit a crime. And Josh Ritter's shame on you.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
No, no, no.

Speaker 11 (20:26):
You know, money talks and crime walks. The first thing
when this case broke, I thought of his teenage twin daughters.
That's what I thought of. I thought of, Oh, he's
got this family. What are his kids think of him?
Especially these two young girls? What is his sympathy? If
I didn't know better, I would think that Easy Yuck
and Dirty Diddy were in on something together and did

(20:49):
this whole thing as a just one big distraction from
what's really going on here, just to keep their names
in the news. There is no sympathy for this alleged rapist, sploiter.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Whatever you want to call it. And I remind everybody.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
I rid er che on that for a minute, Doctor
Bethany Marshall, let's jump off of what Lynn Shaw just said,
because I find this highly manipulative. Okay, it's so, and
I'm sure you have the right psycho lingo to describe it.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
But he's behind bars.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
According to the state, he's innocent until proven guilty for
week after week after week for decades, as long as
he got a little money and a little power. As
soon as he got that, he could start abusing women
and young girls. According to prosecutors, this has been going
on for decades. Okay, they just amended and created a

(21:45):
superseding indictment to date the sex attacks further back. And
now that he's finally in jail awaiting trial, he's.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Like, oh, nobody's taking care of my children.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Yeah, well, think about that man before you rape somebody.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
How do you think these victims feel when.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
They hear him whining to Kanye, nobody's taking care of
my children.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Well, first of all, don't these children have mothers?

Speaker 6 (22:11):
I mean, PJD is not the only one in their lives.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
The victims have to hear.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
Him whining and think about him sort of worrying about
his children. But there's no reference to the victims. And
all this time and money he spent on these parties, Nancy,
he wasn't.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
I would be curious.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
Was he setting up college funds?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
You know what college funds? Don't get me started on
college funds. But you're absolutely right following up all what
doctor Bethany Marshall and when Shaw just said to Rob Shooter.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
He is the host of Naughty but.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Nice podcast, author and former publicist too Seawan comes Okay.
Number one rule and cross examination. Don't ask the question
you don't know the answer to.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
But I'm going to go out on a limb.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
How much interaction did Combs have with his children when
you were with him?

Speaker 8 (23:03):
Limited? It was limited interaction. Now, their mother was still
alive at the time.

Speaker 13 (23:08):
She's no longer with us, and so they spent most
of the time with their mom. Whenever I'd go to
his house, his apartment in New York, or his house
in the Hampton's or his house in Miami. I never
saw the children there. In fact, the only time I
ever got to really see the children was on red
carpets when the press was there.

Speaker 8 (23:27):
Did he like showing off what a great daddy was
when the press wasn't there? Not so much?

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Anye West drops a shocking distract feat repeated these words
a misheated online battle with ex Kim Kay.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
So apparently.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Kim Kardashian's children are featured on Kanye's track Let's Listen
first to North when you see Michel.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
And then he said a light a lie every day?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Nor right that from Easy straight out to Sydney Sumner
joining us Sydney.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
What happened?

Speaker 4 (24:09):
So Nancy, Kanye West brought North into the studio with him,
and she decided to use her vocals on this song,
which Kim Kardashian views as highly irresponsible and shows that
Kanye has no regard for North's future or her reputation.

(24:30):
I mean, putting an eleven year old girl on the
same song as Diddy, who is accused of all of
these atrocities. So Kardashian was understandably upset, and she did
her absolute best to keep this song from being published
in any way, shape or form. And now Kim Kardashian
actually owned the trademark to Northwest's name, and they set

(24:53):
that up to help protect her future, to give her
a source of income for the future, and that name.
Those rights will turn over to North herself when she's
old enough to handle them. But for the moment, Kanye
West has no legal right to use Northwest's name in
any capacity, so she first tried to remind him of that,

(25:15):
using that as a block. Hey, you cannot release this
song with her using her name. He didn't want to
cooperate with that.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
You're absolutely right, Sidney. Listen.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Northwest's short verse on Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine
is not the tweens first dabble in hip hop, also
collaborating with FKA Twigs on Childlike Things, But after Kim
Kardashian's criticism Kanye West's decision to put their daughter on
a track with Diddy, West has nothing but disapproval for
Kardashian's choices about letting North collaborate with other artists. West

(25:51):
explodes at Playboy Cardi on X after Cardi asked Kardashian
to have North send him a song. West then calls
his ex wife a sex trafficker, implying North's collaboration with
Twigs was not age appropriate.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Okay, let me understand clarify this for me, Sidney Center.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
So Kanye uses.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
North, Okay uses North in a track, and it's my
understanding that the Tate brothers were visiting or about to visit.
You know, the Tate brothers that were basically kicked out
of the country and are accused of all sorts of

(26:35):
misogynistic attacks on women. Those Tape Brothers were going to
be around while North laid tracks.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, Nancy, So that's happened about two days later, after
all of the song drama. So Ken is still trying
to do her best to give Kanye access to his
children despite everything he's done, despite pulling the stunt with
releasing Northwest on this song with Diddy, She's still allowing
North to visit with her dad, and Kanye West invites

(27:09):
the Tate brothers to their house. So his security guard
let Kim Kardashian know what was going on, and she
immediately came and picked North up so that she was
not exposed to those two men.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
You know, Sidney, a lot of people may not know
who the Tate brothers are. They have been in Romania
behind bars. Explain who the Tate brothers are. Now, just
imagine the Tate brothers, Andrew and trist In Tate somehow

(27:43):
make their way back into the US, which I strongly oppose.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
They get back into the.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
US and somehow hook up with Kanye and Sean comes
behind bars. He's aware that Kanye is using north for tracks.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Right, Well, Nancy, we can't be too.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Sure what Colmes knew about Kanye's plans to put Northwest
on the track. But what we do know about the
Tate brothers is they started out as influencers for men,
so they would post videos and discuss finding your masculinity
and what it is to be a man and how
you should live your life.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
And somehow Seawan Comes behind bars has been dragged into
this saga. Now, let me understand, after all of this,
Kim Kay files for an emergency mediation and Kanye's a
no show.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Correct, that's correct, he did not show up for that hearing.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Now, explain to.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Me what this has to do with Sean Combs, how
he's gotten roped into this because we're talking about North.
Okay North is Kanye and Kim Kay's daughter. So what
does that have to do with Shawn Combs and how
is that affecting his trial?

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Sydney Nancy, It really has nothing to do with Sean Combs.
Until that phone call dropped. Until this week of that
phone call was exposed to the public, everybody thought that
Sean Combs was not touching Kanye with a ten foot poll.
I mean, we saw how quickly his vote of confidence

(29:26):
in Combs turned into an anti semitic tirade just last month.
So after that, you would think that Combs would have
learned his lesson and stayed away. But it just highlights
how isolated Combs is.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
He doesn't have any friends.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
In Hollywood if he's asking to turn to Kanye for friendship.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
Legendary rapper Jay Z denies the allegation he raped a
thirteen year old girl at a VMA after party. Jane
Doe amended her a lawsuit filed in October that only
named Sean Combs while redacting the names of two other
celebrities at the party that night. The suit states quote
defended Seawan Combs, along with his longtime friend and collaborator
Sean Carter aka jay Z, drugged and raped a thirteen

(30:08):
year old girl at an after party following the two
thousand Video Music Awards. Another celebrity stood by and watch
as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the miner.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
That case has been dismissed. That case against jay Z
has been dismissed. And not only that, the lawyer that
basically started a one to eight hundred for Shawn Comes
has turned tail Listen.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Houston lawyer Tony Busby has been forced to step down
from several of his lawsuits against Sean Diddy Combs after
his case involving jay Z was dismissed. Sean Carter has
not wavered in his quest for retribution since the case
was withdrawn. Finally, complaints that Busby is not authorized or
practice in the Southern District of New York where many
of his clients have filed.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Okay, hold on just a moment, So Tony Busby is
backing out of these several cases.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yes, Nancy, not by his own choice, so jay Z.
After this case was dismissed, jay Z still has a
defamation suit against Tony Busby, an extortion suit against Tony Busby,
but he went so far as to file formal complaints
claiming that Buzzby is not allowed to serve as a

(31:25):
lawyer in the Southern District of New York, which unfortunately
is true. Buzzy is not certified to serve in that district.
He is allowed to serve in the Eastern District of
New York, but he has not stopped applied for jurisdiction.
Stop stop, Joshua Ritter.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
This is all technical legal term bs because hasn't anybody
heard pro hot and vice.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
He doesn't have to be certified there.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
He can have a lawyer who is there, bring him
on as co counsel, and get approval on an ag
ad hot basis.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
It happens all the time. So that's not why he's
backing out of these cases.

Speaker 7 (32:13):
No, you're right, it does happen all the time. It's
also not that hard to get yourself admitted into the
Southern District of New York, so you can go ahead
and file these cases yourself. And as you just pointed out,
this is kind of elementary stuff. This is entry level
lawyering here, So I you know, the idea that he
somehow missed this either speaks to he's in above his

(32:35):
head on these cases. I mean, he filed a lot
of cases, and to me, this is just not the
first step towards handling them professionally, or he just what
is unaware that he needed to have himself admitted or
like you point out, a pro hoc VJ council appointed
for him in those local districts. So I don't get it,
and it's it's it's going to be problematic because now

(32:56):
you've got all of these clients who are feeling they
were represented by one person and he's basically pulling the
ripcord and saying I'm out. You're going to have to
find some of their lawyer to help yourself out here
in New.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
York Crime Stories with Nancy Grace. So now Tony Busby,
who made quite the splash at the get go, is
backing out of the case with his tail between his

(33:26):
legs because he says he's not qualified.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Well, he's qualified.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
He's not admitted to pridice in that jurisdiction, like I'm
not admitted to privtice in Alaska, Okay. But he can
be brought in on the case under pro hac vice,
which means on an ad hoc basis, you can be
brought in even if you're not certified in that jurisdiction.
So why is he really backing out? Don't know, but

(33:52):
this is where he started.

Speaker 9 (33:54):
The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, it really wasn't
a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world.
The wall of silence has now been broken and victims
are coming forward. Our team has had at this point
more than three thousand and two hundred and eighty five

(34:14):
individuals contact us with people claiming people claiming to have
been victimized by Sean Combs.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
That's from the official at Tony Busby on Instagram. But
now he's backing out with tail between his legs on
multiple cases. But he's staying on on others. All this
while seemingly Shawn Combs' defense team is grasping at straws
claiming that the Cassie Ventura beat down video was doctorned.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Let's take a look at that video real quick.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
This is in a very exclusive resort hotel, Cassie Ventira
leaving what she said was a free cough.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
And whoa, here he comes down the hall in a towle.
Just never gets so old, does it? And wham there
you go.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Now excuse me, as we were watching this Sidney Sumner
who comes claiming doctored the video.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
Yancy, So this video was released exclusively by CNN, and
his team claims that the outlet altered the video, that
they set it up, that they made some jump cuts
so that the assault looks much worse than it really was.
Even if that is the case in the version that
the public has seen, CNN has now come back and said,

(35:34):
of course, we have the original footage with no changes
made to it, which is exactly what they turned over
to prosecutors when they asked for it.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Dundor Methody Marshall, psychoanalyst. He's claiming that CNN somehow docted
it to make it look worse than it really was.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Really, could it be worse than what we saw?

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I mean, Sandy has the original, that's what will come
in at trial.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
This is all bs.

Speaker 6 (35:57):
It's like he's saying, well, I only kicked her once.
I didn't kick her twice. Okay, I hit her in
the eye, but I didn't give her a black eye.
He's really minimizing the abuse and Nancy, this is what
abusers do. They minimize, they downplay, they.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Act like they really didn't do the abuse.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
But this is clear, clear as the day.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
All right, blame it on CNN. They made it Lert
look worse than it quote really was. I don't think
that happened.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
And if it weren't true, why with Sean comes say this.

Speaker 14 (36:31):
It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in
your life. Sometimes you got to do that. I was,
I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I made no excuses.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
My behavior on that video is inexcusable.

Speaker 14 (36:51):
I take full responsibility from my ashes in that video.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
So if it's not real, why is he apologizing for it?
I'm not hearing him screaming right there that was a doctor.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
That's not real.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
That is from Diddy's official instapage.

Speaker 12 (37:06):
Maxwell and Epstein were with Jetner from Tasting Minor Dunter
to travel to Asking.

Speaker 8 (37:13):
Your Residences his residence in New York City for.

Speaker 9 (37:16):
The Aurey Side, as well as the Homey Flora.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
And Sandy Bay and Nico. Some of the ass interviews.

Speaker 9 (37:26):
Also took say Maxwell, you residents in love Inde.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
You are hearing us attorney for the Southern District of
New York. That's Audrey Strauss speaking about Jelaine Maxwell. Why
Jelaine Maxwell was a hitch person for Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein
basically his pimp, going out and finding young girls for
him to abuse. She's sitting behind bars in a federal

(37:52):
penitentiary right now. But what does that have to do
with Sean Combs everything because of Christina Korum? Is Christina
Korum the next co defendant, undisclosed co conspirator or star.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Witness listen Sean Diddy.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Combs's chief of staff, Christina Korum, has been accused of
numerous atrocities, from forcing employees to carry drugs or recruit
women for freak offs, to standing witness to a gang
rape after trying to place an IUD in the victim. Quorum,
whom Combs has referred to as his sole sister and
right hand, worked for the mogul for more than a

(38:31):
decade after previous roles at Paramount Pictures in Burberry. The
two were previously close, with Comb's posting a long birthday
message for Quorum on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Showed out to Joshua Ritter joining us, a high profile
criminal defense attorney former prosecutor. You can find him on
Quorum Confidential on YouTube. Joshua Korum denies all.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
But she's in it. She had to be a witness.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
The state is deducing at least a witness to what
was going on.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
That's his right hand person.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
So what will she be an undisclosed unnamed co conspirator.
Will she end up being a co defendant on a
conspirat under a conspiracy theory eight or and a better theory?

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Or will she be the state star witness?

Speaker 7 (39:18):
Well, she's smart, She's going to be the state star witness.
I mean, you know how this works, Nancy. The government
comes to you and they basically give you a choice.
Which way do you want to go on this? Do
you want to be the United States versus Sean Dittycomb's
and yourself? Or do you want to be on the
witness list? And do you want to be somebody who
testifies against him?

Speaker 4 (39:37):
She don't.

Speaker 7 (39:38):
I don't think it's really a choice she has. I
think she has to say, let me help you, how
can I possibly help you? Please tell me where I
can sign as a cooperator to testify against this man.
And it sounds like if she was as close to
him as even he is saying there's a lot of
helpful information to the government that she possibly has daughter.

Speaker 2 (39:59):
Dwayne Hendrix's jo US, former associate awarden at MDC in Brooklyn.
You and I were going around and round about weather
Combs has a cell phone, right if he does have
that illegal cell phone with him, you don't think he's
calling Korum on the phone trying to get her story straight,
trying to talk her out of testifying. You don't think
that's happening right now. And remember he was already busted

(40:21):
trying to intimidate victims and witnesses once before. And you're
still sticking with your story he doesn't have a cell phone.

Speaker 12 (40:28):
I'm sticking with my story that he does not have
a cell phone, and I'm gonna tell you why, because
now that he's been outed with the Kanye conversation, if
that phone call was not recorded on the federal call system,
then they will absolutely know that he would have a
cell phone.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
And you know what if, Dwayne Hendricks, I think you
may be right. I don't think he has a cell phone.
I think he's got two. Nancy Gray signing off goodbye,
friend
