A Texas man has admitted to a horrifying plot against
his dementia's stricken wife, culminating in her brutal murder. Justin Davidson,
forty six, of Fort Worth, faces first degree murder charges
after allegedly confessing to a calculated scheme involving drugged slushies
and smothering to end the life of his wife Danielle

(03:48):
Crosby Davidson, forty seven. This chilling narrative unfolds from court
documents following her death at an Arizona dementia care facility. Danielle,
who was receiving long term trade for advanced dementia at
the Eternal Spring of Gilbert facility, was found dead in
her room. Her husband, Davidson, was staying with her at
the time. Facility staff quickly grew suspicious, noting Danielle's health

(04:12):
had dramatically deteriorated since Davidson arrived. They also reported that Davidson,
a California resident, had allegedly stated he did not want
them to feed his wife and repeatedly locked her room
door despite being told not to, preventing routine checks. The
alarm was druly raised when staff found Danielle dead, observing

(04:34):
bruising on the side of her neck and disturbingly, a
blue tongue. Police were immediately called, and it reportedly did
not take long for Davidson to confess. Investigators learned of
Davidson's initial failed attempt to end Danielle's life. He allegedly
admitted to crushing fifty to sixty oxy cotone pills which

(04:56):
were previously prescribed to her, and feeding them to her
in her food. The massive dose, Danielle did not die immediately. Undeterred,
Davidson allegedly then confessed to a second, more lethal plan.
He bought over the counter sleeping pills from target and
dissolved them in a blue flavored frozen ice drink from
an Arizona fast food joint, which he gave to Danielle.

(05:19):
He then allegedly smothered her with a pillow until she
stopped breathing. The blue slushy is believed to be the
reason for her blue tongue observed by medical staff. Court
records also revealed that Davidson had previous police involvement with
his wife during their time together in southern California. Now,
Davidson has been booked into the Maricopa County Jail, where

(05:40):
he is being held on a million dollar bond as
a flight risk. His next court data set for August eleventh.
And finally, in a heart stopping display of courage and
quick thinking, Georgia police officers became real life heroes, shattering
a car window to pluck two vulnerable toddlers from a

(06:01):
sweltering car averting it potential tragedy in a bustling mall
parking lot. Bodycam footage captures the dramatic incident at Cumberland Mall,
where internal temperatures had soared to a life threatening one
hundred and seventeen degrees fahrenheit. With incredible tenderness, an officer
unbuckles a little boy his comvoy soothing as the child

(06:24):
cries subsided take a listen.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Hey buddy, it's okay, Hey, it's okaya. Oh you're hot.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
The heroic rescue began when a vigilant shopper, hearing desperate cries,
alerted nine one one time, of course was critical. Without hesitation,
an officer delivered a precise blow to the window, allowing
immediate access. Both children were carried to safety and received
medical evaluations. The father, Jaquan Dixon, was arrested and charged

(06:54):
with two counts of cruelty and released on bond. While
we celebrate the heroism and thanks to these precious children
that they are safe, this serves as a crucial reminder
that please never leave children or pets or elderly unattended
in a vehicle, even for a moment.
