Speaker 2 (00:03):
Now, I'm Nicole Parton. Sixty three year old Stacy Dramingo
went out for her usual morning walk in San Antonio
at a popular park trail. After she never returned, her
family made a police report and the police began searching
the area for the missing mother. On Monday, police found
Stacy's body in a wooded area of the Slado Creek

(00:25):
Greenway trail. In a statement released by Bexar County Sheriff's Office,
the Bexar County Medical Examiner has confirmed that Stacy was
a victim of an apparent homicide. According to the autopsy report,
she died of blunt force penetrating trauma to the head.
Prior to leaving the scene, deputies made contact with a
mail later identified as Marco Flores. This according to People

(00:48):
dot Com, Flores provided detective some information regarding the victim,
but those details have not been released to the public.
Police say the suspect spoke for a few moments and
then deputies were able to overcome him. He was taken
to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office for questioning. Mai shadraminga
Stacy's daughter, spoke about her mother, describing her as a loving,

(01:11):
caring individual. A supervisor at a cardio pulmonary rehab center,
Stacy loved helping others.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
No, I'm so grateful I have the mom I have,
and she has been taken from us, but I still
had almost thirty years with that, where some people don't
even know that experience. Our person is gone, Like whatever
happens with that, like it'll resolve itself. That's just what
we believe. I love my mom. I miss her so

(01:39):
much and I'll think about her every day for the
rest of my life.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Police say Stacey was a common visitor of the park.
Park rangers knew her well as she frequented those trails.
Police were able to locate her body based on the
pings of her cell phone. They believe the suspect killed
her coming out of the woods to overpower her floor.
It's being held without bond.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I'm Jennifer Gould. A small town in Iowa is rocked
by tragedy after the discovery of a teenage girl's body
and the suspect allegedly covered in her blood. Michelle Luna Jackson,
a vibrant and beloved seventeen year old was reported missing
by her family. Her body was found the following day
near a farm field in Calhoun County. Nick Dunbar is

(02:27):
a deputy in nearby Webster County and helped in the search.
He spoke to KCCI eight.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
News, Unfortunately, again we had a sad outcome, one that
we never wish on anybody.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
The suspected killer, Nathaniel Bevers McGivney, was taken into custody
after being seen by Jackson's mother and sister, covered in
blood and in possession of the teen's scooter. The criminal
complaint alleges that Bever's mckidney deliberately cut Jackson's throat with
a knife to kill her, then he attempted to to

(03:00):
conceal the crime by hiding her body. Thorities believe the
twenty one year old may have been planning the attack
for some time, as witnesses report he was seen near
the location where Jackson's body was found on multiple occasions
in the days leading up to the murder. Witnesses also
reported seeing Jackson and Bevers McGivney together on the very

(03:22):
day of the murder, walking near the park where Jackson's
body was later found. Bevers McGivney was arrested shortly afterwards,
and when questioned by police, he refused to answer any
including questions about the blood on his clothes, and he
requested a lawyer. Bevers McGivney has a history of minor offenses,

(03:42):
but no prior violent crimes, according to authorities. Jackson was
a junior at Southeast Valley High School, where she was
known for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and her love
of music. Friends and family described her as a bright
light and a joyful young woman. Her obituary noted her
love for Minecraft, virtual conversations, and outdoor activities, especially swinging

(04:08):
at the local park. Bevers mccivney is currently facing charges
of first degree murder and abuse of a corpse. He's
being held in the Carroll County Jail. He is set
to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on October fourth.
The motive for the murder remains unclear. The investigation he's ongoing.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I'm Drew Nelson, a Florida man, is in custody after
allegedly using his truck to kill the mother of his
child and injure another man during a hated argument in
Pompino Beach. Witnessed by the mother's ten year old daughter.
It started when thirty two year old Edwin Amayah and
Brenda Hernandezemaya, aged twenty nine, began arguing over their two
year old son. The argument took place near an apartment

(04:48):
complex where Hernandezemaya was with her family, including her ten
year old daughter, who talked to WTVJ, I couldn't cry,
couldn't talk.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I went downstairs like run run.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Witnesses reported that Amaya, who was allegedly intoxicated, grew increasingly
agitated omar Minguilla. Henrique Hernandez Amaya's ex husband and the
father of her two older children, was also at the scene.
He later told authorities that Amaya had threatened to retrieve
a gun from his truck and shoot everyone. According to
the Broward Sheriff's Office, it escalated quickly when Amaya got

(05:20):
into his white Ford F two fifty, shifted into drive,
and aimed the vehicle at hernandez Amaya. Amaya allegedly hit her,
pinning her against another vehicle. Witnesses report seeing her nandez
Amaya fall to the ground before Amaya backed up again,
dragging her under the truck's wheels. Broward County Sheriff's deputies
and Pompeno Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene shortly

(05:41):
after receiving the call from several witnesses. Hernandez Amaya was
severely injured quickly transported to Broward Health North, but she
died there. Munguilla Henrique, who had tried to stop Amayah
by grabbing onto his truck, was also injured in the incident.
He was treated for non life threatening injuries and later
released from the hospital. The attack, Amayah fled the scene

(06:01):
on foot. Deputies quickly tracked him down about a half
mile away. He was taken into custody without incident and
later booked into the Broward County, Maine jail. Amaya now
faces charges of premeditated murder and is being held without bond.
When Guilla Henrique provided more details about the argument that
led to the tragedy, he says Amaya had arrived at
the apartment intoxicated, demanding to take their son with him.

(06:23):
Amaya's actions were captured on cell phone video. The video
shows Amaya driving the truck into Hernandez Amaya and then
crashing into other vehicles as he fled the scene. The
family is now working to raise funds to send her
nandez Amaya's body back to Honduras for burial. A GoFundMe
page has been set up to help cover funeral costs
and support her three children. For the latest crime and
