After a busy day of Critter saving mysterious garbage at
the forest Preserve and this on d business, the one
silver lining was that Gabe officially joined the team. Mister
Luke and I needed someone like him, and Gabe didn't
waste any time doing what he did best.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
All right, guys, this is a good start for your
animal care station. We need to get some tank set up,
and we need to fill these drawers with some basic
first aid.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Good planned, Gabe.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Do you have any empty bins? We're gonna need some
for animal wash stations.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
I think mister Jim ordered some bins as soon as
the construction wrapped up. It's like we've been getting boxes
every day around here. Marcus, can you go check the front.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Sure thing, I'll bring them right back, Gabe.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Great. Thanks.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
While Gabe and I work on setup, mister Luke set
off to do some digging, well not actual digging, but
researching the OND. At this point, we didn't know if
this had something to do with the mysterious Victor von
Smog message on the computer or not. Was OND the
force behind all our problems or was it just a coincidence?

Speaker 6 (02:13):

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Let's see what we can find.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Operation of Nature's destruction? Could that be what OND stands for?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Hum man.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
If this page wasn't so inactive, I'd say we have
a match. There hasn't been anything added here in years, though.
I don't have to see what Marcus and Gabe have
to say about this. Marcus, Gabe, do you have a
minute just a second, what do we got, mister Luke.

Sure seems like it fits our description, But the page
is from years ago.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Hmmm, that's strange. Could it be a decoy or something?
I mean, we can't rule anything out of this point.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Isn't it a little weird that this so called group
is literally about the straying nature operation of nature's destruction.
It's a perfect fit if you ask me.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, that seems too spot on to be a coincidence.
H Maybe we just need to do some more digging.
I just can't shake the feeling we aren't out of
the woods.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
After a full day at HQ together, it sure felt
like we were actually a team, even with the mystery
of the ond, And to be honest, I was just
so happy to have some real friends finally, people who
shared my same interests, and it finally seemed like I
belonged somewhere. If only things stayed that simple. The next morning,

(03:51):
we walked into chaos yet again.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Guys, there must have been a security breach overnight. Again.
I have no idea what's happening. Nothing tripped the system
that I can see. It just makes no sense. Second
time this month, we've had alarms going off here.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Wait were all the alarms going off when we got here?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yes, every security alarm was blaring.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
There here.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yes, they were through this whole building this time and outside.

Speaker 7 (04:24):
Hey, thanks for shutting those off, mister Luke. We need
to get down to the pond though, Doctor Stinkybreast Purple
Blimp is hovering out back. With them being so close
to HQ, we need everyone you.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Got it, Gabe, Marcus, you guys head out back with
mister Jim. I'll go around front and drive down after
I take a look around.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Got it. We'll meet you near the pond.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
The entire team rushed outside, and we soon discovered a
devastating sight. The once beautiful pond, which served as a
sanctuary for many critters, had been contamina. The terrible smell
of dead fish made it almost impossible to breathe and
go figure. Just as we arrived, the Purple Blimp was

(05:09):
disappearing behind the tree line, and the Purple Ninjas were
still hanging on a long rope down the side.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
This is a disaster.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
The last thing we need right now was Doctor Stinky
Breath and his Purple Ninjas. I mean, it makes sense
if he'd want to stink up this place.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
But come on, Oh, I'll ask mister Jim to follow
the blimp out of here. Mister Luke, can your team
finish checking around HQ. We have to make sure there
isn't anything else going on.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
And what about the pond?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
And these dead fish will have to.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
Leave it for now.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Guys, I'll to interrupt, but there's a black Homer over there,
speeding off into the woods.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Come on, we have to follow it. Jump in the jeep.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
As we sped off in mister Luke's jeep down the
dirt road behind HQ, we didn't realize that this high
speed chase was all part of the plan. This biology
squad followed the blimp and we followed the hummer, all
while Victor von Smag's plan went into action right at HQ.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Sick free, Yes, sir, sick grate. Remember you need to
drive off and give the woods and keep thriving until
you lose these fools. Read got it, sir?

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Keep going now, Becky, Becky.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Right here, dad, But do you have.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
To call me that fine agent s in we go.
No time to lose My precious birds need to eat
at it.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Exactly three.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
You and those birds they better pay off.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
That's all I have to say.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
Trust me, they are more valuable than you even know.

Now we get the battery packs and get out. No
wasting time, no drinkings, no gear, no rumming, drinktu desks
as enticing as that may feed. Nothing, not one extra thing.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I got them, the batteries, the chargers.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Let's go.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
Wow, Okay, go fast.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
I'll give you that.

Now, back to the lab.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Did you catch that while we were distracted, Victor von
Smog was taking battery packs and every charging station for
the Biology squad jet packs. What we didn't know, too,
is that these batteries in charge were the same ones
we used for the transportable animal enclosures we've been using
for injured critters. If only we'd known that that's what

(08:08):
they were after our high speed chase just led us
further from the scene and unfortunately, further from catching our
villain before his scheme.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
He's just going too fast. I can't keep up with him.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Just try and keep it a little closer. Maybe I
can get a better look through the rear view mirror
way mister Luke, where are your binoculars?

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Those ones you can record.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
With behind the seat? I think grab them quick though
I'm almost cut.

Speaker 2 (08:41):

Speaker 5 (08:41):

I can see him slick black hair, seems to be alone.
He has sunglasses on, so I can't see.

Much anything else. There's just too much overgrowth on this
part of the path. I don't think I could keep
going my cheapest to beat up.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
It's okay. It's not much use chasing him if we
can't keep up.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Just slow down.

I haven't seen one of these things since I was
a kid. And look some kind of eagle line marking
on the side, A lot like that emblem we keep seeing. Hmmm,
I guess let's hear it, Gabe, go ahead and push play.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Victor von Smoke. Our operation will ensure the ultimate destruction
of nature pavings a way for our domination. Keep with ziplan.
This team has nothing on us. The lab is plined

Maybe this will slown down a bit, and I guess
this confirms it. They're together on this for sure.

and maybe someone who has a knack for research or
cleaning ponds.
