Speaker 2 (04:08):
I think it's so good to be here. Thank you,
dev Thank you for having me. What an introduction.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Thank you, thank you my friend I had you know,
I had the pleasure of having my first reading with
you a couple of years ago. And you know something
I've shared on the show, I am such a deep lover,
admire and always in deep reverence of astrology as truly
(04:37):
a sacred tool for our lives. I've been and study
with it for a while. So you know, there's there's
things that maybe I'll unpack on another show, especially for
those that are a little like what does that mean?
You know, there's for some people this is new territory,
but this is thousands of one, thousands of years old.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Absolutely, and you know you're innate essence speaks volumes for
that sacred spiritual science set is astrology. When I looked
at your chart, I said, dear Universe, she's telling me
exactly what she's supposed to be doing. Ah. That element
of astrology and the astrologers have to be very careful
(05:20):
because we can start speaking a language. That's why when
I have a session. If you go to a movie,
when you explain the movie, you explain how it made
you feel. You don't talk about the camera and the
technical piece. And that's something that including myself, I can
(05:42):
be guilty of speaking that language, but we really want
to bring it down to energy those points. And when
I saw your chart, the lower form of the mind
in the place of the higher form, higher consciousness, and
a purpose in this life to bring awareness broadcasting at
(06:06):
five hundred million watts, and you're living your purpose. And
look where you are now, as you said in an introduction,
where am I now? That energy at birth that planet
forgive me. You're honest, is sitting right on the point
of your purpose in this lifetime. You're here, We're here.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
How beautiful. Thank you, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
And it's difficult, it's challenging sometimes it may be, but
it is a life of service because in this life
we either serve or we suffer.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Hold on, hold on, hold on. I want to repeat
what you just said because I know I know people
listening said, ooh, you either serve or you suffer. Something
that I speak to a lot, especially when I'm doing
(07:10):
work with groups around purpose is purpose is an extricably
linked with service. You are not living your purpose. You
are not if you're just being celebrated, if you're just
being validated, if you have the premier title of this
or that you are only living purpose if you are
(07:31):
also in service, using your gifts and skills in service
to the greater good. That was so gorgeous.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
And there you are with the sun ruling your chart place,
not in a sort of immature way of look at me,
look at me, but look at me so that you
can shine, because I'm shining, so that we all can shine.
Because all that light that you bring, all of that
(08:00):
water to bring the nourishing, because you know you've been
here before and you've come into this existence to nourish.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
What a gift for me to be able to do that.
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
And that's why astrology resonates because you know, if I
were to get six astrologers at a table, they would
very well think that maybe you are an astrologer, because
that that signature point of awareness. Because with awareness, there's understanding.
There's awareness of our health, there's awareness of our education.
(08:39):
Our physical body when it's time and it tells the time,
and that energy and it's it's it's it's because there
are no accidents, there are no you know that that
energy of awareness, this very moment, for the first time
and nearly two hundred and fifty years, we've returned two Aquarius,
(09:06):
the most powerful energy of transformation, of taking the collective.
We are now crossing that bridge into the most higher
consciousness and humanity I feel, and for you to be
a purveyor, for you to be the spokesperson the aesthetic,
(09:29):
the beautiful esthetic, but also a deep, deep soul.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
I am honored, my friend. Thank you for those reflections.
But I want to talk about you. Oh you are
fascinating to me, Darryl Gaines in so many ways. One
because I am gratefully a client of yours and enjoy
the power of the way you bring this work into
the world, and just kind of taking you all and
(10:00):
really being an observation of like, let's look at the
fibers of how you become you. I would love if
we can try before we we have so much to
talk about, so before we get into some of the
bigger things happening in the stars. You know, I think
of someone like you who has this just profound gift,
(10:21):
and then I think of you know what it takes
to bring a gift like that actually to life, right,
Like when people are living their purpose, when they're living
in their gifts, when they have the courage, especially to
do non tradition quote unquote non traditional things in times
where they aren't popular. I admire that in people, and
(10:45):
so knowing you know some of what I know in
your life. You're a black man raised in Pittsburgh, coming
of age around the seventies and eighties, and coming into
this really massive gift that you have doing something that,
if we're clear, is not really understood, especially in those times,
(11:09):
by the black community, by many, by really any communities
at that time. Absolutely, how did you How did you
first connect to astrology and know that that was one
of the vessels of your purpose and your gifts.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
It was very challenging because of growing up in that
collective consciousness at that time. Yes, and as we well know,
it's gotten so much better. I love that. The kids
today they're on it. Yeah, they're so on it. But
that said, it was very very challenging because it wasn't accepted.
(11:47):
I came from a very religious household. They thought that
this belief system was that of a darkness, yes, And
although I didn't agree with my family's belief system, I
had that mindset of being a naysayer. Oh that astrology,
(12:08):
it's nonsense. This is me at fourteen. But the moment
that I start living my innate essence of curiosity and
wanting to understand, to be curious, but also to care
and to be aware, and trying to figure out why
(12:29):
am I so different? Why do I have? What is it?
Why do I have to be this eighteen year old
kid who goes through the Soviet Union before you know,
when it was very closed, and then traveling through your
finding an astrologer who says, oh, you're going to bring
(12:53):
this back to a spiritual science, a spirit and I
and I said no because I was afraid of ego.
Why would you put that on me? She says no,
And then as she delineated my chart, I couldn't. I couldn't.
You know you can't. There was no way that I
(13:16):
could fight the truth. There was such healing in my
first session as an adolescent, because again being in an
environment that was diametric opposed to who I am a
piece of who I am a piece so and from
(13:40):
then I started studying, I came back to New York,
I started taking classes. I had many mentors, but every
mentor every instructor would say, yes, study the foundation. But
your gift is that energy that I spoke previously, that's
(14:00):
in your chart, that energy of bringing awareness and taking
some of those challenges of being different and being okay.
Because the beauty of when I look at a chart
is you see a person as they are, and even
(14:25):
with the challenges of people who with my lack of
maturity of thinking they were against me. But once you
look at the chart, there's forgiveness.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Okay, hold on, hold on, Oh I want to sit
in this part. I want to sit in this part
because you know, the way we've kind of been expressing
astrology in a way that I think for the people
that are connected to their charts, a lot of the
ways we first begin to use it is to really
(14:59):
get clear feedback on who we are, the things that
we are sensing inside, and then getting the validation of yeah,
actually that is your intended path or yes, that is
your gift, or you know, it's a way to really
connect to mission, to purpose, to an ability to move forward.
But the piece that has been monumental to my life
(15:23):
is what you're speaking to right now, which is using
astrology as a shadow guide as well. Yes, using astrology
as a tool of healing some of the traumas. Can
you speak to absolutely how that dynamic happens, Like what
is the healing that comes through when you kind of
(15:44):
sit with and investigate those patterns and themes that show
up in your birth chart.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Well, and I want to preface it that we're not
making an excuse for perhaps bad behavior. Yes, yeah, we're
bringing understanding. It's that element of forgive them for they
do not know what they are doing, but we also
want to make them aware and if they so choose,
(16:13):
they so choose. But we also have to forgive because
it allows some of that trauma to be healed. It's
a process. It's a process through the cycles. We all
as we go around through the cycles and ultimately DEVI
we walk in each other's shoes every two and a
(16:34):
half years. We go through a subconscious That's what the
moon is. The moon represents our subconscious tapping in to
what lies beneath. That's why when I do a chart,
I always immediately look at the moon and I look
at its relationships with the energy of Pluto, transformation. That's
psychotherapy one oh one, and that's why I have a
(16:59):
few There are apists who send their clients just to
get an understanding and then they can work once they
know those key points. That said, we have an opportunity
to walk in each other's shoes because we go through
(17:19):
a lunar cycle every two and a half years, and
with awareness, this forgiveness not making excuses, no.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
But I think it also it gives you a view
that makes sometimes, depending on the circumstances, is very individual
for each of us, but it gives you the ability
to not take some of the challenges in your life
so personally, to not feel like maybe there was an
agenda against you, or how do these things happen to you? Sometimes?
(17:56):
You know, I know, for me, there were certain moments
in my life that seemed just so incredibly irrationally absurdly
profoundly hard, challenging, painful, And when I kind of dive
into my chart and I'm looking at it from more
(18:20):
of an observational lens, less judgment, it's kind of like, oh,
that was always meant to happen, you know, not in
a way that I'm trying to minimize some of the
deeper things that we go through. But at a certain
point you can zoom out and say, I see the
story being told. I understand that there was something that
(18:40):
had to be a catalyst for this to be unlocked. Unfortunately,
in the time it had to come in that way. However,
that was just the theme that in my belief I
signed up for before I came, right, you know, for
those that believe in reincarnation and believe even this kind
(19:00):
of divine dance we're doing with God of coming and
learning and then serving, it's it allows you to see
some of the pain points in your chart with a
lot more loving kindness, a lot more neutrality.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Yes, absolutely, And with your chart again because it's vibrating
very visibly and even though sometimes emotionally, I mean, you're
you're showing up so vividly present, but so much and
many times different cycles you want to be vividly and
(19:35):
not vividly, not present at all.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Right, But yeah, that's me. I'm like, the deepest part
of me always wants to be a hermit, Like I
just want to be at home surrounded by beauty, creating things,
but just kind of being to myself.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
But you were given the responsibility of being vividly present
with boundaries. I won't go into the astrological diagnosis of that,
but the energies in your chart and how those energies
form relationships. Is a person who has a lot of
(20:17):
responsibility to heal, but also to set boundaries to protect
that need because your energy comes that power comes from silence,
because true power is quiet, ultimately right.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
So let's I want to take a trip to New York. Okay,
So you have such a fascinating life, Daryl Gaines, like,
I hope the autobiography is coming at some point because
the stories, the experience is one of the many really
(20:58):
fascinating experiences in your life. Is you helped to develop
Soul Cycle?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yes, I was the first male instructor because I was
discovered here in Los Angeles and they brought me side
unseen to New York. Back to New York. I didn't
want to go back because I left New York to
come out to LA for this idea of combining astrology
(21:25):
with health and wellness astro fitness, and it was wonderful
and it was accepted as far as me knocking on doors.
I have this idea, but where was I at that time?
I wasn't believing enough to follow through, or perhaps for
(21:48):
whatever reason I didn't. But the point about soul cycle,
it was a piece of understanding energy and how do
you use it and to take because when I look
at the chart, what I see is a beautiful composition,
a beautiful piece of music. The universe is perfect. Sometimes
(22:15):
we like to fall back on what is negative. Mercury's
retrograde Saturn is at odds with my moon for six months. Okay,
check and little the guy's falling. The truth of the
matter is it's so perfectly orchestrated to make us aware
(22:36):
we're the ones who are singing or we're dancing, not
to the beat. Astrology with this awareness, gets us perfect pitch,
perfect pitch. And that's not sugarcoating a challenging cycle, but
just fundamental parts of maturity. You have to pause, you
(22:58):
have to go back to move forward sometimes yeah yeah.
And the way the planets move, it's so beautifully orchestrated.
And getting back to that piece about energy, so to
the point of soul cycle and physical fitness. It was
my idea to take all of that steady back in
(23:20):
New York of astrology and my love for wellness, and
to merge it.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
And the way I curated my classes, it was in
the moment, it was that aquarian All we have is
the president the ability to feel that. What does Mercury
feel like in this moment? What does Mars retrograde feel like?
(23:50):
Right now? Why am I playing can't see me by
tupac Oh? Mars and Pluto was a very Mars energy,
and that that energy, it's energy. It's like Roberto Clemente,
he said, I never play happy. I played baseball angry,
(24:11):
but he was the most happiest giving man. He gave
his life service and here he under again energy. It's
okay to be angry, but to use it. And that's
what astrology does. And that's what I am still working on,
bringing that together of energy from above as above so below.
(24:37):
How to curate it. I curated it with the class
without so much speaking about it. It was super music.
And that's what I'm doing now with my with my postings,
using music to tell a story, because music ultimately is
very transcending, because it transcends us from the ordinary to
(25:01):
be extraordinary by staying on the beat of the music.
Our life is so musical. With understanding of the energy. Yeah,
and it's okay sometimes like right now, So what it
was a difficult seven months, So what I was paralyzed
physically the ego, Oh, I'm not looking the way I
(25:23):
want to look. So what but what about now? Where
are you now or are you going to stay paralyzed
in the past? And what have you learned during that
time you're out there helping others?
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Yeah, what I'm here in spite of what I'm hearing
and what you're saying is like, you know, it helps,
it helps us. This awareness helps us accept our cycles,
right because if we are just being with ourselves through
the lens of society, then then all of a sudden
it matters that we don't look the way we quote
(25:58):
unquote want to look for a handful of months. But
that's not how nature flows.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
You know.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
I'm a believer that you know, I can fluctuate all
the time depending on the seasons and not necessarily because
like my diet is changing, but I recognize that as
also like, oh, spirit wants me a little more grounded
right now, so it's giving me a little extra you know,
gravity to my body to kind.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Of absolutely take root.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
And then sometimes you need to be a little more airy,
and you need to move faster in certain ways, or
you need to kind of bring forward parts of yourself
or your body that are necessary for the moment. But
it's respecting and having reverence and acceptance for the cycles
as they come.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
That's all a part of that. That wellness that's six
piece to the collective chart and tapping into that understanding
that's sixth hour, what time is it? And being okay,
it's not a license to you know, stop, but there's
a reason for the pause. There's a reason for the
(27:04):
orchestration of your life to be in the valley so
you'll know the glory of the top of the mountain.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
And when you fight these moments, yes, you do yourself
a disservice because you're not dancing with your life. You're
not dancing with the intended path. When you fight it,
you prolong what's intended. You're not using the energetic potential
that's available to you in that moment.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
That's right, and that's why that's why it's so exciting now, Lily,
because regardless of our charge, we're at such a collective
starting point. Yeah, that energy that takes us from the
home into the outer world to be successful. It's known
as the planet Saturn. Saturn, of course, sometimes is viewed
(27:50):
as who no, Saturn's coming, Bring it on. We want
the Jupiter. But the Jupiter, you know, too much of
a good thing? Is it too much of a thing?
And these starting points with those energies of transformation and
being successful at home to the outer world. But as
(28:11):
you know, when I look at chart, as I said,
it's always the moon and the bottom, the bottom is
the natior home mother, the foundation of life. And until
you know home, and it's not it's not a physical location,
it's knowing what lies beneath inside the moon again, the Nator.
(28:34):
Once you are at home, you know yourself. Forgive me
for quoting the whiz, you know your courage, you know
your heart, and you can go anywhere because you're always home.
And I forgive me for going into from direction. But
I really recommend anyone who has a novice interests in
(28:58):
astrology are even advance, look at home because everything starts
at home, at bottom of the chart. It's so important
because it's a part of our healing. It's so important,
it's so powerful, it's the foundation we all of course
want to be at the top and that makes total sense.
(29:19):
But the work starts at the bottom and I love that,
and you know it's difficult, but it's so rewarding.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Deeply. Wow. Can we play a little game? Yes, I
want to play a game and bring forward a couple
names of people I consider, I think many of us
consider to be great awakeners. There are people that in
their own ways in their time really created paradigm shifts
(30:07):
or helped to enforce and and bring forward the shifts
that were meant to begin happening on the planet. Can
I Can I throw out a couple of nations, tell.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Me a lot absolutely.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
What their life was intended to represent.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Okay, I'm going to start with my favorite person, my
internal soulmate, I believe. Can you tell me about Tupac
shakor Wow?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Not only do I love his energy, and of course
we will immediately say, oh, he's a Gemini, but you
know some sign.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
We were born. Yes, So I absolutely start there.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Absolutely with the sun in Gemini. And guess what what
rules Gemini mercury? Where is his mercury and Gemini sitting
right next to his son? What relationship does that form?
It forms with a very strong mars, But that Mars
(31:16):
is in't Aquarius. So his words not only were they powerful,
not only were they elpha in a very good way,
a very inspiring way, but the world heard those words profoundly.
(31:39):
You know that son and Gemini the ruler, the ruler
of Gemini's mercury and harmony with the higher form of
the mind. Because if Gemini is the lower form, and
that's not a negative thing, by the way, because you have,
like he is, connection between the lower form beautifully and
(32:02):
harmoniously in touch with the higher form, higher consciousness. So
and on top of that, to do it with a feeling,
to do it with a feeling, that's why it resonated
so deeply.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Yeah, I think, and I love that.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
For me with the exercise class, it was an and
I love. I love both And that's why when I
would counsel new instructors, You've got to have masculine and
feminine energy music. It can't be all you know, one,
you have to blend it. That's life and it has
(32:47):
nothing to do with gender or sexuality at all, because
the chart doesn't see that.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
You know what's so interesting to me about Park and
the ways that that you're describing this chart. I found
that like pauc is so polarizing, right, Like you're either
under the frame of thought that he is the greatest
of all time, which I think, or you want to
debate it and put him up next to like other
you know, icons of the time, but who had different
(33:13):
messages and outside of just the hip hop sense, like
lyrically and all of that. Pac was such an awakener
and I feel like he speaks to a certain kind
of person that had these like this revolutionary inner life,
you know this that maybe their circumstance did not allow
(33:36):
for them to be you know, the young kid at
Juilliard or you know, the person did not allow for
the community and the environment that could really nurture certain
aspects of those gifts. But you felt them churning, and
there was a desire to express. There was a desire
to learn a higher thought. And I think that that
(33:57):
is very linked with a lot of the people that
are tested in the way that I'm obsessed with fuck
because it's a part of who you are.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Yeah, it's so deeply a part of your innate essence.
Deeply that speaking to the disenfranchised. It gets back to
what I said previously, Making others feel like a star.
You're you're the ruler of your chart is the sun,
(34:25):
because it begins as a leo rising. But it's not
look at me, look at look at me, because I
want you to shine, I want you to take this light.
And Tupac had the same thing, and especially in a
very and it has nothing to do with gender, but
that alfho way, That's why it was so polarizing, because
(34:47):
that energy is the truth, and the truth, as we know,
can be very inconvenient, as liberating, as liberating as it
is it can be. That's the fact. Fact that we're
debating the fact that we're debating at this very moment
that woke is a bad thing. Yeah, yeah, but it's
(35:08):
okay because you know it's okay. It doesn't matter. It
doesn't matter. I say it with arrogance. We're fair and
square here now this age of awareness and more fairness
over the next three years, our eyes should be burning deadly. Oh,
(35:29):
our eyes should be because we're at this critical juncture.
The reason this juncture, this polarization, you know, whether it's
the vaccine or whatever, gender identification, all of it, it
(35:49):
began a few years ago when you look at that energy.
We faced off when it first started to appear, what
was going on, rights, human rights, women's rights, Yeah, the
decolonization of Africa, gay rights, human rights, and now that
(36:12):
was the overture and now there's no turning back.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
And of course the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are off the
Jurassic Park. Yeah, it's it's not even it's not political,
it just is.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
When you look at the when you look at the
placement in the sky, what do you see? You know,
we are from we rooted in this this age of
churning too, you know, like this is a time of
real churning. Absolutely, when do we come into the butter.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Well, I shy away from putting on my predictive hat,
but I'm not going to play passive aggressive today.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
The next the next two and a half years are
so exciting. Wow, are so incredibly exciting. Perhaps troubling, oh,
because you know, there's a need for sacrifice in this life.
And it's not a cliche. We have to have dark
to have light. Yeah, you know, you look back at
(37:19):
every cycle, look back at the sixties, look at any
time there was a need to move forward through death
because there is no death, there's only rebirth, and that's
where we're going now because the awareness, we want to
(37:44):
fight it. We want to fight it simply, as I said,
by thinking that woke is a bad word.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Yeah, yeah, well yeah, the misappropriation of other people.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
But the energy, especially since that last configuration of these
two powerful planets structure and order and transformation. The last
time we had it was September eleventh in the cycle,
the next time the COVID crises, and now as we
(38:20):
move to a place that hasn't been for two hundred
and fifty years, so many ways, metaphorically we put mask on.
I mean literally we put mask on. Metaphorically we're taking
them off. We've never seen people so clearly.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
Yeah, right, my goodness.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Rather in our personal lives, rather in our personal lives
are in the outside world. Absolutely, we're seeing people so clearly.
And you as a healer, as an awakener, you're seeing
the truth than ever. As for me with my clients,
I feel I've never been so insightful or understanding. And
(39:10):
it's not false optimism, because I you know, I'm a realist.
But when you look at the chart, eighty percent of
it is about structure and order, It is about maturity, progression. Yeah,
but then you know, one in one equals too. But
(39:31):
when you've done all you can, then there is help me, universe,
help make out the miracle two and two become nine
because we let go.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
I want to ask you about someone else too. Yes, there,
this person is representative of so much. She is a
powerful woman. She's a beautiful woman, she's a creative woman,
and she is the first of her kind. She's truly
one on one, one of one. Can you tell me
(40:10):
about what is written in the stars for Michelle Obama.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
To be the power behind the throne. It gets back
to something that resonates deeply, something I feel true power
is quiet and she was a part of you know,
it's very ancestral of moving ahead. And that's that's why
(40:39):
perhaps she has no interest in being a president, because
her power is served better and it's and it's not
a matter of that, it's that it's better than that,
but it's better than that.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Because inspiration, mmm, true, like one of the most inspiring
figures of ours all that.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
Yeah, she has a lot of what I see in
your chart. Oh lord, it's a lot of responsibility.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
Right, I'm going to keep skating right on through. Talk
to me about a historical figure that we are now
having more twenty twenty vision on the way that they
really changed the world in their way. What what is
(41:38):
Muhammad Ali's chart say about him?
Speaker 2 (41:44):
That he was the greatest Leo rising quarious quarius moon.
He stood there for justice, He kneeled, He wasn't He
did not kneel for I mean he kneeled, but he
didn't kneel to someone's restriction.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Yeah, he wasn't dominated. He wasn't the time that as
a black man it was very hard to not be.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
And look how polarizing it was at that time. Yeah,
and coming from below the Mason Dixon mind, that's another right.
And to have the whole world in his hands. I
remember a kid in nineteen taking the boat over from
(42:35):
Spain to Morocco, Muhammed Ali, Mohammad Al, I mean, I
love him all around the world, these little kids. That's
that aquarius energy I'm talking about. And for anyone that
possesses it, we all possess it because again through the cycles,
we go through an aquarium lunar progression at some point
(43:00):
in our lives. To be aware of that is something else,
but to be born with it is another thing. As
he was as you Ah. You see that element in Oprah,
you see that element in Angela Davis, the civil rights. Yes, yes,
(43:21):
And it's not so much just that they son sign ularious,
because again Muhammad Ali was a Capricorn, but he took
he took that integrity, that that solidness, and he just
(43:42):
blasted it in the world, the world rather you, whether
they accept it didn't matter. He was a part of
the change. Can you imagine being a little boy or
a little girl and such a restrictive and to see
that that's that strike of lightning, that a god.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
They were all all three were just such permission givers,
you know, within that big awakener energy. It's like you
have permission to take up all the space and they.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
All have that running thread of aquarius. You're honest, and
where are we now? We are? We are now fair
and square in that age.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Deeply Well, you have been speaking really powerfully throughout the
show to this moment in time that we're in. This
is really a moment of a call, not just a
call to action. This is a moment that is a
call to awareness, a deeper awareness within self that allows
for more observation and awareness and yeeling in the greater world. Yes,
(44:59):
could you speak to what is the energetic potential available
to us right now? With what you know of the
way the human condition is destined to be over the
next couple of years, How can people listening best utilize
this energy? What should people be doing? What should they
(45:21):
be thinking about right now based on where all the
transits currently are?
Speaker 2 (45:27):
Well, it's always good and if not me, of course,
there's so many a wonderful, wonderful guiders out there. But
have your chart done? Yeah, understand where that element of freedom, autonomy, awareness?
(45:47):
Where is that in your chart? And to the novice astrologer,
are the very mature astrologer, what does it feel like?
And how can you describe that? As opposed to speaking
that language that some of us astrologers like to do.
(46:08):
And nothing's wrong with that because that comes from a
place of trying to prove it. I'm proving it with
the facts. Mars is square of your Saturn. So but
what does it mean? I want to feel it to use,
whether it's illustration, whether it's through the chronology of life,
whether it's perhaps a difficult time like Oprah Winfrey when
(46:31):
she had that issue with the cattle industry, what was
going on to use those very specific times of noted people,
noteworthy people. But again to your question, what can perhaps
the lay person do have your chart done, because once
(46:57):
you know, you know, yeah, yeah, to understand where this
collective energy is in your chart, don't look at it
if you're being advised that it's a challenging time. Look
at it as a moment of breaking free. Freedom is
(47:21):
rarely free. Comes with the price. It comes with the price,
and we all have a price to pay right now.
Either we stay back and we move forward. Because this
is the most exciting time in human history. I feel that,
(47:41):
and that's not hyperbole. This is the most exciting time
to have at a young girl born today. Look at
what's come up trafficking all of this misogyny. A young
girl born today won't have to deal with that as
she leaves high school in twenty years from now. I
(48:02):
say that with arrogance, it's an empowerment of female energy. Whatever.
And because of course, when you look at the chart,
you don't see race, you don't see gender, You see
the individual, You see the energy. That's why the chart
has no there's no gender to who you are. You're
(48:24):
you and I am you, you or me as we
walk together through the cycles.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
With awareness, with awareness.
Speaker 2 (48:33):
But that beauty, that beauty of the liberation, not just
all these stories of police brutality, just the economic term,
all of it. It's about awareness. It's about education. This
is not political. Ultimately, what gets us ahead is that
(48:55):
energy we're dealing with to be curious, to learn, because
with education the higher form of the mind. You as
a professor, a purveyor of the higher form of the mind,
broadcasting what you do. And I say this to you
(49:15):
lovingly as a as someone I respect deeply. It's so challenging.
But you're a star. Own it mhm, because you mean
you're making people feel like stars. What greater gift? M right?
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Thank you, thank you, thank you? So So how can
people connect with you?
Speaker 2 (49:46):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (49:48):
How can they get bigger taste of all this?
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Uh? Of course. My site is Guidingplanet dot co dot
com guiding Planet, and I like Guiding Planet because I
feel that that's what it is. It's a guide. It's
an awareness, a guide for you to direct your life,
write your script, sing your skull. Also my Instagram guiding Planet,
(50:20):
where I tell daily the energy of the moment with music.
It gets back. It's full circle now my love for
the creative. I see the chart as the most beautiful composition,
and that's not everybody's beautiful. Everyone's beautiful, Everyone's beautiful. It's
(50:44):
a beautiful composition. And it is such a healing. It's
such a it's such a healing a belief system, not
false optimism. Not am I going to win a lottery?
(51:05):
And you know, I know sometimes that's what we want. Yeah,
but when you're given the tools, when you're given the
tools to take control and have real freedom, freedom and relationships,
understanding why, to understanding the why, knowing that yes it's
(51:27):
a challenge, it's not a problem. There are no problems.
There's solutions, right. So guiding Planet and my intent, especially
over these last seven months, as challenging as they have
been on one end, but so rewarding on the other,
(51:49):
So rewarding because there has been a coming, a face
to face in some unpleasant and convenient truths for my self.
But at the same time it has inspired me to
bring it full circle. What started you were kind to
(52:11):
say twenty years ago, thirty five years ago, So.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
I mean you look good, well, thank.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
You, but oh yeah, it's it's wonderful and my I'm
dedicated to really bringing it back to a sacred spiritual science.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
Yes, yes, yes, yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
Building that bridge between feeling and thought, limits and limitless
except the limits, it's okay, but no, ultimately it's limitless.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
It's limitless, it's limitless. Work your chart, work your chart chart.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
I'm very clear. I don't I don't communicate false optimism.
You know, seventy five years ago you would go to
a doctor with what would be a terminal illness and
that's it. Today. Where are we in this higher consciousness
with understanding advancement? Yeah, now it's a new beginning, right.
(53:24):
It's the same with astrology. Yes, this is a challenging time. Okay,
Saturn is oppose your Pluto squaring a. You're your honors okay,
but what when you come out of that. You'll be
better if you dance to the beat and sing to it.
(53:46):
Is it going to be easy?
Speaker 3 (53:47):
No?
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Will it be rewarding? Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (53:54):
You know, Gosh, and to know ultimately, and again, as
we said at the beginning, it's not about making excuses
or hiding behind again you know my Saturn or my
my you know Mars. But by forgiveness, you know, when
(54:19):
you really see the person as they are.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
It's not about making excuses. It's about forgiving. More importantly,
forgiving yourself, right.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
One million person, if you do nothing else in this life,
please forgive yourself.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
Yes, yes, yeah, because.
Speaker 1 (54:43):
Please accept your life and be aware so you can
use it in service to yourself and the greater good.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
Yeah yeah, I can't. I can't feel that with every
five or we either serve or we suffer in this life.
And to live to tell, right, a communicator all of
these great healers and awakeners your day. You're a part
(55:14):
of this I received.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
But listen, this episode of the show is not about me.
Speaker 2 (55:20):
No, but you. But it speaks. But it speaks, It
speaks to what we're talking about, this belief system, this
sacred this sacred spiritual science.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, And we all have a call,
My god, dude, we all have a call. Please, everyone
listening and connecting to this episode, let this be the
permission and the sign to answer the call. You don't
have to have it fully fleshed out. You don't have
to know the mechanics of the how and the when
(55:52):
and the why, and you don't need the details. You
have the theme and you get your birthtart. You don't
have to have the details on how these will be
executed and come to life, but you have the greater understanding.
How are you meant to be used? How are you
meant to serve? How are you meant to learn to grow?
How are you meant to love? How are you meant
to explore pleasure? How are you meant to be creative
(56:15):
and curious? It feeds all of it, not just you
know some of the heavier challenges the life's work of
a purpose or a healing, but it helps inform you
know something I love. For instance, in my chart, my
venus is in Taurus, so being able to own the
fact for me that like pleasure is through beauty. I
(56:36):
love creating, touching, smelling, being near things that are evocative,
things that are inviting, that are warm, that are interesting
and beautiful in their own ways, you know, and knowing
that part of my chart, how my creative energy best blows,
how I best give and receive love like those are
(56:57):
some of the juicier exciting parts about being able to
work with your chart.
Speaker 2 (57:02):
And I love that you said that you have venus
and Taurus. Venus is at home there you have such
you synergize that with every other element in your chart.
You have someone who can look at a beautiful you
see the detail and you see the big picture artistically.
(57:25):
And I really like to counsel my clients when they're
going through a challenging time. Yes, it's challenging, and I'm
not telling you to throw the baby out with the
bathwater and become a singer or an artist or a painter.
But you have a natural affinity, So why don't you
(57:46):
use that as akatharsis as a remedy for your pain.
That's a part of you.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
That's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
That beauty is a part of you, and it's healing.
It's another part. It's not about you suddenly becoming, you know,
a pain. Pick up that camera, start taking pictures, because
perhaps right down in the sky the energy that rules
photography is in harmony with say you're Venus and Taurus.
(58:17):
Pick up a camera. Even if it's just for yourself
and no one sees it, it means everything, and it's
so healing, it's so cathartic. We've got to get away
from wanting a million people to like whatever we put
out there. We have to like ourselves first, yes, and
know that we have that ability, that beauty that you
(58:40):
have with art. You're not. I don't think you're going
to go and you know, start shooting for architectural digestion.
You very well could. I mean, I've seen your home
and it puts the shame frankly to some people who
are in the business. But you know, but you know
what I'm saying, right.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
Yeah, yeah, I love that so much, Daryl. God, that's
such beautiful, actionable direction, you.
Speaker 2 (59:06):
Know, actionable, actionable and to to.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
You know, to your point of liking oneself, to like
and to really authentically love oneself, you have to be
willing to be in practice with yourself. You have to
have a few different drafts that you kind of move
through and you're not frustratingly balling up your first draft
and throwing it away. You're just kind of like, Okay,
(59:29):
that's the first draft, and where can I go from there?
What's the elevation from there? What's the next thought? The
next ability?
Speaker 2 (59:36):
Absolutely, and as you well know, it's it's it's human
nature sometimes for someone to look at you and say
she's on top of the world. You know, they have
no idea that there's no such thing as overnight success
at all, at.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
All, ever, never, never.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
But that's also a testament to when you're in spite
of shining, you know, But.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
I love you, Darryl Gains. Darryl, thank you so so, so,
so so much for coming on the show, for sharing
your wisdom, for sharing your profound gifts, and for all
the beauty that you bring into the life of your
clients and of all the people that know you. I
(01:00:32):
am so grateful for you, so grateful for your work,
so grateful you said yes to your gifts and your calling.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Thank you so much, Debbie. I mean, there are no
words but thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate it. And,
as I say so many times, to be blessed and
invigorated by the charts of my clients to know this
is how I got over. This is how we can
get over. This is how we go through these cycles
(01:01:02):
of life. Dreaming, yes, but dreaming with our why our
eyes wide open. We gotta dream, We got to got
to accept the reality. But we have to dream with
our eyes wide open because it's here. This is again
(01:01:23):
I'm sorry for the hyphoverlief, but this is the most
exciting time to be alive. As challenging as it is,
especially when we tune into all of that stuff the news,
there's no question.
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
As intense at as it is. Yeah, really, it's a
really charged intense time that there is is a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
To it, and that's why your voice has been elevated
now more than ever.
Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
Thank you everyone. Please go follow Darryl at Guiding Planet
head to his website guidingplanet dot co. Thank you so
much and a little bit of soul work for this episode,
you know, when we are sitting in all of this
expression that was so beautifully shared with us from Darryl.
(01:02:11):
I want you after this episode, if you have some
time today and this week before we join one another again,
get a journal, Get in your safe space, get in
your sacred space that you've created wherever that is, take
some deep breaths, and, as best you can, from a
lens of neutrality and non judgment for your experiences, start
(01:02:35):
to get down on paper the beginnings of the awareness
of the themes that play in your life. Now, if
you're ready for this, and also if you've already done this,
connect it with your chart, get a reading, or if
that is not a possibility in this moment in time
for you. Two apps that I recommend very strongly are
the pattern app by the amazing Lisa Donovan and the
(01:03:00):
Chany app by Channi Nichols. Both are very different, both
are very thorough and very beautiful expressions of your chart.
So that's something that you can do from your phone,
but I encourage you to find an astrology expert, someone
that has been really seasoned in doing this, and sit
with your chart. Go to guideplanet dot go, and as
(01:03:23):
you do that, I want you to start identifying what
are the themes at play in your unique personal life.
That's the start. The more you spend time, the more
you add to that paper, the more you'll begin to
intuitively connect to the greater understanding of how your life
is intended to be used and how you're intended to heal,
(01:03:44):
to grow, to transform, and ultimately to serve. Thank you
