Speaker 1 (00:27):
Take a deep breath in through your nose. Hold it now,
release slowly again deep in helle hold release, repeating internally
(01:03):
to yourself as you connect to my voice. I am deeply,
deeply well. I I am deeply well. I am deeply wow.
(01:30):
I'm Debbie Brown and this is the Deeply Well Podcast.
Welcome to Deeply Well, a soft place to land on
your journey. A podcast for those that are complex and
(01:50):
creative and ready to ascend in higher consciousness and self care.
I'm Debbie Brown. This is where we heal, this is
where we become. Welcome back to the show. This is
our final installment of our amazing astrology summer series that
we have been doing with master astrologer Darryl Gaines, my
(02:12):
dear friend, one of the just most amazing and prophetic,
masterful astrology teachers in the world. I've been loving everyone's feedback.
I've been getting so many dms about it, and so
many people telling me that they had their charts read
with Darryl, which I know if you have, it is
just such an experience. The way he brings the cosmos
(02:35):
your destiny, the way he brings that chart to life
is just incredibly special. We are also on the last
episode of this podcast season and right as I was
like pressing play on the mic, which by the way,
I'm back in Los Angeles now from London. I started
doing this show, I believe in twenty nineteen, and then
(02:59):
we joined forces with all the amazing folks over at
the Black Effect Network in the last couple of years.
But I remember when I first started this show. It
was really interesting because, as some of you may know,
I had a fifteen year long career in broadcasting. I
hosted terrestrial radio shows in Los Angeles, in Houston, and
(03:22):
in New York. And I previously worked for a ton
of different broadcasting companies, including iHeart, but also Sirius, xm
MTV and Radio One. And so when I decided to
do this podcast, it was interesting because I had to
get used to long form talking again because in terrestrial radio,
(03:44):
like we practice what is called word economy, which is
trying to say more with much less. And so I
remember when I was first starting this show in season one,
I was doing it very much in my then fine
tuned and masterfully honed, if I can say so myself
(04:07):
style of broadcasting, as someone who had been in practice
with communicating and speaking for well over a decade, and
so in season one, you know, it was very much
like that. It was very much like a journalist, very
much like a radio host. And I'm in and out
of questions quickly, and I'm like wrapping it up and
doing all the things. And I had a great time,
(04:27):
and I love that show, and I'm grateful for all
the skills I've a mast, but I didn't want to
talk like that anymore. I didn't want to have to
be quick and marketing and leaving people with the cliffhanger
so you'll listen next time. And it was part of
all the stripping down I had to do when I
left the world and the purpose that I had and
(04:54):
the way that I had it. I hope that makes sense,
But you know, my purpose has always been the same.
Meant to communicate one facet of it, but as I
always share, our purpose is transferable to any and everything.
It doesn't require a title, it doesn't require specific position.
It's the innate essence of what we're here to do
(05:15):
and who we are, and the skills that we've amassed
and our lived experiences and the gifts that we have.
But even in that I realized you know at that time,
I don't want to talk like that anymore. I'm not
really looking to influence people. I'm not really looking to,
you know, gain more listening minutes because that turns into
(05:36):
something that can be consumed or I just want to go.
And even when I remember in the first few seasons
that I started this podcast, you know, I'd have different
people who are more so official podcasters, and they would say, well,
you know, you know, the stats are saying that a
twenty five minute episodes is what retains everyone's information the best,
(05:57):
and actually a ten minute episode is what gets people.
And I'm like, yeah, I get that. Sure, I come
from that background, so I know it very well. But
I'm not looking to just create stats and I'm not
just looking to make content for content's sake. I want
to do whatever it is I do on my terms.
(06:20):
But I also want to offer a lot of value.
And so that's what even though contractually my episodes are
supposed to be thirty minutes, sometimes they're about an hour
and a half. I mean, so what, But I love
that because I'm here to get across what God puts
on my heart to get across, and my deepest desire
(06:40):
is just that it's in service and it's somehow helpful
y'or useful to whoever's listening. But I was just thinking
about that a lot in terms of how when I
got into the entertainment industry and when I got into
the broadcasting industry at a very long, varied career, did
a lot of kinds of different things, like five lifetimes
worth the things, and that fifteen year time span that
(07:02):
spread across a few different states as a woman moving
to these places alone and you know, kind of working
my way up by myself, having never had any mentors,
a lot of friends, a lot of peers, a lot
of colleagues, but you know it, it was really interesting
for me because everything that I've looked to do, especially
(07:23):
in the last five years, has been intentionally counterculture to
the way I've actually been trained at a high level
to do things. And looking back at how really the
last decade has progressed for so many of us. You know,
there was this huge kind of girl boss or entrepreneurial
boss culture that permeated and took over a lot of
(07:47):
people were shaming people for having nine to fives, which
was always insane to me, Like there was this desire
for people to be positioned above so often, especially on
social media, this it's just incessant need for constant validation
in this sense of being seen and heard by everyone
all the time. And then that turned into a lot
(08:10):
of people just wrapping themselves up into marketing language and
kind of losing your truth and losing their essence and
just looking to constantly compete and compare and create perception.
And I've just as I've been observing all of this
over the last ten years, kind of from the outside,
I've just found it to be fascinating and it's been
(08:33):
really interesting just watching where it all goes. And I
think where we've landed in the last ten years, and
I'm sure many of you have noticed this. A lot
of people have been pivoting. A lot of people have
been pivoting specifically from like mean girl to nice girl,
or hustle culture to wellness culture. And it's interesting, right,
and if it's authentic, how beautiful, and I'm grateful to
(08:54):
see the growth. But when it's not authentic, and it's
just kind of more war mongering and and we're finding
ways to just kind of make money that doesn't sit
well with my spirit. It also doesn't have to, so
it's fine. I'm just observing it all. But I think
it's it's been really interesting because you know, there's become
(09:16):
such an oversaturation in the way that we are choosing
to commodify ourselves. And so I just want to shout
out anyone that's listening right now that does things their
way and is letting spirit lead them, is letting purpose
lead them, is letting their innate gifts lead them. Please
keep going. It's perfect. You don't have to fit into
(09:39):
all the other stuff. None of it makes sense anyway,
and all of it's on the way out, you know. Yeah,
I have a lot of things to say about it,
but I just I always want to frame this with
these are my observations. These are truly not judgments, and
we're all doing our best, and everybody has a right
to live their life however the heck they want on
(10:00):
their terms. But it's just fascinating to me watching it all,
you know, because we are just watching humanity evolve and
unfold and so many different creations kind of come in
and take place, and the most important thing is where
does it all land with you? Where do you land
with you? And all of this you know, it's not
(10:24):
about doing things the way everyone else is doing them.
This is just the zeitgeist of the time. Relying on
trends can make fast money, but it's not consistent money.
It's definitely not long term money, and it's definitely not
a higher activation of purpose or mastery, which is the
intention I believe of our lived experience and of our
soul's experience being here on earth. So if it's keeping
(10:49):
you still, even if it's making you money, I would
look to fulfill oneself and other avenues too. Just make
sure you're having your human experience. Like even if you
want to play the game and do things based on
trend or you know, the current momentum of the time,
do it. But also then make sure your life feels
(11:10):
rich and full and that there is some space possible
for you to be your most authentic self somewhere, even
if it's not online, because that's what we're here for.
So I don't know why I went on that tangent,
but here we are. So we're on our final episode
of the podcast, and I'm just so grateful to be
here with you. It has been such a fun season
(11:32):
for me. We've done things a little bit different this season.
This is the first time we've moved into video. This
is the first time that I've kind of put more
effort into Instagram and into clips and all the things.
And it's been so awesome connecting and reading dms and
reading the reviews, which thank you so much to everyone
(11:53):
who's been kind of tapping in the last few episodes
and taking the time to go leave a five star
review and so taking the time to actually write a review.
I've been able to read so many and it's just
felt really beautiful for me and really expansive for me
to see how this show maybe weaving itself into your
(12:16):
life and any ways that you have found it helpful
or useful or pleasurable or healing. So really grateful for that.
And I hope to connect with more listeners in person
in this next year. I have a lot of things
coming up, but yeah, so thank you we out here.
As I mentioned a little while ago, I just got
(12:37):
back from London. I had the best time. I love
being a euro girly in the summer. Listen. London was
so different than I thought. First of all, I have
never in my life been somewhere that diverse. Now I
also want to give a little background. Every place in
the world has racism, so I don't want to speak
(13:00):
to that being some kind of a Disneyland experience or
a Pollyanna experience. I have no idea what happens in
the inner crevices of British society, but I will say
that my experience there in the heart of London itself,
it was incredibly inspiring to see how many different cultures
(13:21):
were present, and how immersed everyone was with each other,
and how clean this city was. It was like this,
like even more diverse New York that was so much
cleaner than New York and also had, you know, all
the ancientness of being a nation that's been around for
(13:42):
many and many hundreds of years. You know, the antique buildings,
which I love architecture. It's my favorite thing when I
travel to just stare at buildings and stare at mature trees.
Oh she's simple. So some of the things that I
did in London. I went to Buckingham Palace because I
(14:02):
am an avid watcher of the Crown and listen, I
was like, what this is? Where that went own? I
find like the concept of like royalty and the concept
of classes and stations in life. I find it absolutely fascinating,
(14:23):
Like to me, the Royal family. I'm not trying to
say this critically or with disrespect, but it was kind
of like it served the same kind of purpose that
like the Kardashians serve in many ways, right, or anybody
that's like super famous, or anyone that's famous and really
held up in a certain culture. It's kind of the
(14:46):
tool of projection for the masses. It's it's its own
entity of experience where people can kind of measure themselves
against or find a way to project onto. It's a
storyline many ways, and that's kind of what I gathered
in watching The Crown. You know, it's this living, breathing myth,
(15:07):
this living breathing storyline that no one knows the inner
workings of or the internal experience of, but everyone kind
of seems to measure themselves against or take their cues from.
And it's just fascinating. Buckingham Palace was stunning. It was
so beautiful. Only a small portion of it is open
for a couple of months a year, but I was
(15:27):
able to see some of their galleries and some of
the places that they take meetings, and it was beautiful.
Everything was gilded and gold, and I am just such
a lover of history, so I'm like, all right, where
Queen Victoria at, let me see her. I want to
know her and Prince Albert. They were so in love,
so we're okay, that's our little dress. Like I just
I loved it. I loved it. I also went to
(15:50):
Kensington Palace, which is another property of the royal family
that's extensive, it's gorgeous, and there is Hyde Park next
to it where Kusama had a pumpkin installation, which caught
me by surprise. I had no idea that was there,
and she is a favorite living artist, and being able
to see that and be near it felt really special
(16:13):
to me. And of course Princess Diana, may she rest
in peace. That is where she lived at Kensington Palace
with her beautiful gardens, so it felt special to be there.
Fun fact, Princess Diana actually, in the few years leading
up to her death, before I believe, after she parted
ways with the then Prince Charles current King Charles, she
(16:39):
used to rely very heavily on astrology. She was an avid,
avid student of astrology. And what's been said is that
you know she used to look for more alternative practices
to understand her life and the role that she played
(17:00):
in the world. And you know when you really think
of that, right, like when you think of someone that's
plunged into this globally public audience where there's no room
for you to be actually who you are, your in
constant performance in front of everyone. And back then, especially
in the nineties, the paparazzi were maniacal. They were just
(17:25):
a menace and horrible to celebrities, which, of course, as
we know, eventually was allegedly believed to be part of
the cause of her crash and unfortunate death along with
Dodi al Fayed. But when you think about that craziness,
(17:46):
like it just makes so much sense to say, how
do I get a better understanding of who and what
I am and how my life became this? So I
thought that was really interesting. I also went to high Tea,
which was such an experience. I love, I Love, I
love a tea. Hei t was really special. Had all
(18:10):
the little cucumber sandwiches and scones and sweets and a
beautiful robust tea. I also ended up meeting up with
one of my dearest girlfriends Yvonne, who is a certified
London air that is like Yvonne is just an epic traveler,
Like she is this, like she's just fascinating and she
(18:33):
has the most beautiful trips and so she loves London
and she's been telling me about London for years. And
we met up while I was out there. We went
to go take in a comedy show. Shout out to
Michael Chay from SNL. We went and caught his show
in London, which was hilarious, and then had a chance
to just kind of turn up all over the city.
(18:54):
We had this little crew. It was so fun. It
was so fun. And I go to bed at nine
o'clock every night. So just in general, like being in
other countries, I flip a switch where I'm back to
being the old version of me that worked in entertainment
and always had to be a concerts and shows and
all the things. So yeah, she was awake, she was out.
(19:16):
It was something. I also had this incredible dinner at
this restaurant where if you go, I mean, London has
phenomenal food. And I had a ton of res and
a ton of great experiences. But there is especially this
Indian restaurant that has a Michelin star called Jim Kanna phenomenal,
one of the best meals of my entire life. They
(19:38):
have this incredible room called the Vault, and it was
really really special. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll
also see that I did a soft launch of Bay,
so I might not be doing that more. I don't know.
I'm a private citizen and I like it that way.
But there were some shadows captured, and yeah, we had
(20:00):
a really incredibly, incredibly special, beautiful experience together and all
of London. It was wonderful and I love it.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Deeply.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Well, I hope you were having a beautiful summer. I'm
so curious for those who have been listening to this
summer series, how has it been landing for you and
what have you learned about yourself through exploring the themes
that Daryl has shared. This episode, specifically, Darryl is going
to really dive into what a birth chart is, what
(20:40):
the planet influences are in a birth chart, and how
to use all of this to really maximize the energetic
potential that's available this summer. So let's dive in with
master astrologer Daryl Gaines.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Welcome, everyone to this special episode where we explore the
profound energies as the summer of twenty twenty four comes
to a close. I'm Darryl Gaines, and today will dive
into what each sun sign can expect and how to
navigate these transformative times. Let's get started. I know that
(21:25):
the Sun's sign resonates deeply because the Sun in our
astrological chart represents our conscious self. However, true power comes
from not only knowing our sun sign, but also the
entire chart, the complete design of you, the birth chart,
(21:48):
understanding the Moon and all of the planetary influences through
the cycles of our lives. As we approach the end
of some twenty twenty four, it's time to reflect, time
to heal, and time for setting intentions for the upcoming seasons.
(22:13):
It's important to note that the following guidance applies not
only to your sun's sign, but also to your rising sign.
Your sun sign reflects your core essence and your conscious mind.
While you're rising, is the ruler of your chard. It
(22:33):
acts as the designer, the architect where your chart begins.
It is the mask that you wear and how others
see you from the surface. To get the most comprehensive insight.
Consider both your sun and rising signs. Listen through all
(22:57):
the signs to see which energies resonate most with you. Now,
let's dive into each sund sign and if you know
your rising, let's begin to harness these energies areas. As
summer winds down, focus on your personal growth and self awareness.
(23:23):
Embrace opportunities for leadership, and take initiative in your projects.
This is a time to reflect on your accomplishments and
to set new goals for the future. Your energy and
your enthusiasm will drive you forward, Taurus. The end of
(23:47):
summer is a perfect time for you to reassess your
financial goals and personal values. Focus on stability and security
in your life. This is also a great period to
nurture your relationships and to invest in your home environment.
(24:09):
Take time to enjoy the simple pleasures and reconnect with
nature Gemini. More than ever, communication and intellectual pursuits are
highlighted as summer closes. Engage in meaningful conversations. Don't waste
(24:32):
your time, don't waste your breath, expand your knowledge. Be
more curious. This is a time to strengthen your connection
with friends and family, consider taking up a new course
or hobby that stimulates your mind and keeps you engaged.
(24:58):
Cancer Focus on your emotional well being and your family
dynamics as summer ends. Reflect on your personal growth and
how you can nurture yourself and nurture others better. Create
a safe and loving environment at home. This is also
(25:21):
a good time to address any unresolved issues and seek
emotional balance. If you're feeling too much, think, If you're
thinking too much, feel, seek emotional and cerebral balance, Leo.
(25:47):
As summer concludes, it's time for you to shine and
express your creativity. Pursue your passions and showcase your talents.
Reflect on your personal achievements and set new goals that
align with your heart's desires. Your confidence, your charisma will
(26:11):
inspire not only those around you, but look in the
mirror let it inspire you. The closing days of summer
virgo Yes. The end of summer is an ideal time
for self improvement and organization. Focus on your health and
(26:36):
your well being. Reflect on your daily routines and make
necessary adjustments to enhance your productivity. This is also a
great period to offer your help and service to others.
This will help bring a sense of fulfillment. R Harmony
(27:01):
and balance are key themes for you, and especially as
summer close it. Focus on your relationship and seek to
create peace and understanding. Reflect on your social connections and
how they impact your life. This is a good time
(27:23):
to engage in artistic and cultural activities that bring not
only inspiration, but ultimately joy. Scorpio. As summer ends, delve
into your inner world and embrace transformation. Reflect on your
personal power and how you can use it for positive change,
(27:49):
not only for yourself but the but for those close
to you. This is a time like none other to
let go, to let go of what no longer serves you,
and for you to embrace new beginnings. Your intuition and
(28:11):
resilience will guide you through this period. Sagittarius, Adventure and
exploration are highlighted as summer closes. Reflect on your goals
and aspirations. This is a time to broaden your horizons
and seek new experiences. Engage in activities that bring you
(28:36):
joy and fulfillment. Your optimism your curiosity will lead you
to exciting opportunities. Capricorn. The end of summer is a
time for you to focus on your career and your
long term goals. Reflect on your achievement and set new
(29:00):
objectives for the future. This is also a good period
to strengthen your foundations and to build on your successes.
Your discipline and your determination will drive you towards your ambitions. Aquarius.
(29:20):
Innovation and community involvement are key themes. As summer winds down,
reflect on your contribution to society and how you can
make a positive impact, how you can contribute more. This
is the time to embrace your individuality, your uniqueness, and
(29:44):
for you to explore new ideas. Engage with like minded individuals,
and collaborate on projects that inspire change, not only for self,
but most importantly, collective change. Pisces. As summer ends, focus
(30:09):
on your spiritual growth and your inner peace. Reflect on
your dreams and how you can manifest them into reality.
Dream Dream, dream, but with your eyes wide open. This
is a powerful time for spiritual growth and healing. Embrace
(30:35):
practices that nurture your soul, such as meditation, art and music.
With so many planets in retrograde motion as we approach
the end of summer twenty twenty four, it's important to
(30:55):
embrace these energies with a sense of openness and reflection.
Each sun and rising sign has unique opportunities for growth
and for transformation. By focusing on what truly matters and
setting clear, concise intentions, we can navigate these times with
(31:21):
grace and purpose. As previously stated, our sun signs resonate deeply.
But I can't stress enough how important it is to
have your birth chart done to understand where your chart
(31:42):
begins the ascendant. The ascendant is the designer. It places
all of those energies in that wheel of the birth chart,
those twelve houses. Where is your Moon, Where is your Jupiter?
Where your Saturn? This gives a very clear and concise
(32:08):
understanding of you. It is so important also to find
comfort in these times, especially when so much of astrology
is misunderstood and we tend to look on the negative side.
(32:29):
And although there is so much retrograde energy. Now we
have all of us, we all have an opportunity to
bring order out of any chaos. Thank you for joining
me on this exploration of the end of summer energies.
(32:53):
Embrace this period as a time for reflection, for healing,
and for setting the state age for the future. Use
these insights to guide your journey and come out stronger
on the other side. Until next time, please stay connected
(33:14):
to the cosmos and let the energies of the summer
of twenty twenty four guide you towards greater self awareness
and improvement.
