Hello, Disorganized Crime Listeners! We want to share a new show you might enjoy, CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

About the show: It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there.

Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.

We want to tell you about our new show Crimeless,
from the ingenious minds at SmartLess Media, Campside Media, and

That's right. Every week, we're going to tell you about
some ridiculous attempted crime, all dreamed up by some of

Speaker 2 (00:43):
And we're going to start the whole thing off with
an extra long tail, almost too good to be true.
It's called Crimeless Hillbilly Heist, and it's hosted by a
friend of ours.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
A friend who's kind of a jackass himself. Oh God, Johnny,
that's your cue.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Thanks, Rory. I'm Johnny Knoxville, and I'm going to kick
the Crimeless train off with the wild and wooly tail

Bought a tahoe, bought a forty three thousand dollars ring

And don't forget the leopard print staircase develove at Elvis Painting,
and a wine cellar stocked with the finest cheap beer.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Kind of felt good, kind of like Robinhood, except for
the part where he steals from the rich and gives

Speaker 3 (02:19):
It's a damn near inspiring true story for anyone out
there who's ever shot for the moon. Then just totally

Speaker 4 (02:28):
He was just going to leave the method up to

Speaker 2 (02:33):
They still seventeen million dollars and had not bought a

Speaker 4 (02:39):
What do we do?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Come for the true crime twists and turns, and stay
