Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome Bay, welcome back. Hey, Hey dolls,
Say Sophia, Yes, Lily wants to know what your nightly
skincare routine is. Can we just always kick us off
with details about your gorgeous skin?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
You are so kind. I have really gotten on a
lot of ky beauty trains this year, and I'm doing
a double cleanse at night now, so I'm doing the
oil cleanser first. That totally breaks down, you know, any makeup, mescara,
you know, yeah, fingerpaint with the kids, whatever's on my
(01:02):
face by the end of the day, that's coming off.
And then I do like a gentle exfoliating cleanser because
I have sensitive skin and I can't handle anything super scrubby.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
You're exfoliating every day just.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Like a Yeah, it's like a foaming exfoliant whoa, and
it's great. And then I have sort of nothing left
A toner, a moisturizer.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I don't I can't do like a huge multi step
skincare routine, but I do find that the double cleans
is really hitting nice.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
What about you, Rob, Do you have a routine?
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I wash my face with a cleanser and then I
put on the same moisturizer that I do during the
morning time, which has an SPF fifteen in it, just
in case the sun sneaks in my room while I'm sleeping.
And that's about it. Yeah, how about you, Joy.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
It's awesome. Uh, yeah, I have I use the oil
cleanser amusing right now. I think is etitrix and it's
it's the same things that you were talking about. So
if it just breaks down the hole, all the junk,
makeup and dirt and whatever gets rid of it, and
then I'm not I don't love too many steps. I
(02:15):
will use a bomb. There's like a beeswax botanical bomb
that I use a lot at night before I go
to sleep. Or yeah, that's really just what I tend
to do. Like in the mornings, I might use a
little a little toner and a cotton pad just briefly
around my nose and then I just wash my face
(02:37):
and put the put that stuff on. Anything that's pretty
natural and easy. I try and keep try and keep
it very simple.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
All right, Sky wants to know in season nine there
are such intense storylines for everyone and we're missing that
dating slash romance storyline. What character would you like to
have seen pursuing a love interest this season one?
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, I was kills with a girl that is like great,
and I thought would have just been such a nice relief.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yes, Yes, especially because getting that moment of humor with
him walking down Front Street and seeing miss Lauren and
then realizing she's pregnant, seeing that this woman who he
had loved has moved on clearly in her life. I
would love to see him kind of feel like that's
a swift kick in the ass for him. And imagine
if we gotten to see Skills go speed dating or
(03:31):
like sign up to do weird things around town to
try to meet girls. I would have just loved a
little bit of belief in season nine with him.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Honorable mention that would be Dan because I would love
to see him balance dating with what he's doing in
season nine. Yeah, that would be hilarious if he's like,
you're just catching me at a weird time and she's like,
why is there a guy tied up back there? And
he's like, don't.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Worry at himbout it all right. Wants to know ooh,
yes to this. What is your favorite leftover to have
after the holidays? What are you hoping to find in
the fridge.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
After the holidays? Well, which holidays would those be?
Speaker 4 (04:14):
You could choose Thanksgiving or Christmas or else, you know,
something else if you want.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I'm thinking Thanksgiving, because you know what I like to do.
I like to get a fresh loaf of country white bread.
I want turkey gravy, and then I like to do
a layer of stuffing and a layer of mashed potatoes thin,
almost like the way you spread mayonnaise and mustard on bread.
I like to do it with those carbs, maybe a
(04:41):
little hint of cranberry in there, and then do a
quick toast on the cast iron on either side of
the bread, and how a hot like leftover turkey dinner sandwich.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Oh my gosh, yep, nothing wrong with that. That's the
only thing I want to eat now and forever.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Same. That's my answer as well. Great you win. I
have a question, though, are either of you potato chips
inside the sandwich kind of people?
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Nobody's made a good piece for it for me yet. Okay,
So if somebody fed me a sandwich that was actually
exceptional with that in it, I'd go for it. I
just don't. I haven't had one yet.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I have something you have to try in a phenomenal
turkey sandwich, could be a club, could be any kind
you want. You you haven't yet had Maui onion chips
in your sandwich, and that is the holy grail of chip.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
That's the key.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
That's the key.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
And I would also like to present the option of
a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich with some chips
in the next.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yes, what gives the crunch?
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Yes, ma'am? Whoa and a little you get a little
hit of salt, or you can put whatever kind of
chip you one in there. But back French, you take
down the hike, my friend.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yes, I know what I'm eating for lunch today.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Do it and report back please?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, I will. That sounds so good actually.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Wah wah, Whitney wants to know what's the most adventurous
thing you've ever done in your life? Becoming a parent?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
WHOA I was just going to say having a baby
and a raisiner. Yeah, that's crazy. I don't know. I
also never I never jumped out of a plane, Sofiah,
you jumped out of planes a lot many.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I've jumped out of many an airplane, and I would
still say, like, signing up for parenthood is definitely more adventurous.
It's not a quick max adrenaline spike, but it is
a constant adventure and it is kind of an adrenaline
and lovely emotional roller coaster.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
Right. Yeah, I've jumped out of a plane and listen,
it's it's it is very alarming when you are in
an airplane and then you look over and you see
that a big piece of the wall of the airplane
is no longer there. Your brain is like, oh, this
doesn't seem safe, but it's scary for thirty seconds. Yeah,
(07:05):
and you know you can dissociate your way through that
if you want. But parenting, it's twenty four to seven,
you know what I mean? Yeah, easily parenting for me.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
And I think there's a level up in terms of
the emotional experience, because listen, you throw yourself out of
an airplane. Sure you could die, but that's you. That
was your choice. When you love a child and something
could happen to them and you can't control it, it's
like there's just nothing I think that can prepare you
(07:36):
for that.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah, you never know what's going to happen around any corner,
any day, at any time. Talk about adventure, the thrill
of the unknown. Okay, so we've got key dash asking
(08:02):
best summer twenty twenty five memory as we're heading toward autumn. Oh,
we are fully in autumn, fully in autumn to me? Yeah,
oh gosh. Best summer memory? Oh Rwanda. I went to Rwanda.
It was It was incredible, and I recommend anyone who
is remotely interested go. It's just so beautiful and the
(08:24):
people are lovely and a lot to learn and go
for a while. Don't just like visit for a few days,
like really trying and immerse yourself in the culture for
a little while. It's it's pretty great. What about you, guys.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
I had a moment when I was laying on the
floor in my son's room with the whole family, the
whole crew, and my daughter crawled over to me and
gave me a kiss unprompted, and that definitely put a
few extra stretch marks on my heart. It was the
(08:56):
sweetest best thing because it wasn't like I wasn't fishing
for or asked looking for it. And I was like,
because I always feel like I love you so much,
I'm not sure how you really feel about me. And
it was a moment of going like, oh, no way,
you really like me too, Okay, yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Oh it's so special. Mine's a moment like that.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
We had this like.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Really special weekend. My best friend Nia came to visit
with her little boy, you know, who's my godson, and
her son and Ash's daughter are the same age, and
then Oceans just a year below the two of them.
And watching these three babies run around together for five
(09:40):
days and like play in the dirt and go on
adventures and build forts and like dig stuff up and
get fascinated by things. They were just having so much
fun and Nia and I were watching them, and Ash
went running after them, and her ex husband who's stole
one of our best friends, Patrick went running after them
and the other They were all screaming She put her
(10:02):
arm around me and she was like, look like, when
did this become our life? When do we have all
these kids? And we were laughing, and then the kids
started running toward us because the other adults were chasing
them back toward the house, and Sloan said.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
This is the best day ever.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
And I was like, oh my god, my heart, it is.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
It is the best day ever.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
I just was like, this is the coolest, like such
a simple, sweet moment. And to watch like my best
friend's kids and our kids become best friends. I was like,
I can't my heart is not prepared for this. I'm
just going to be like a weepy lady for the
next week.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
It was great, good, Yeah, all right.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
I am very interested to hear your answers on this one.
Rocky asks, do you prefer a spontaneous trip or a
meticulously planned vacation?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Spontaneous trip easy for me.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
My answer to this question is just yes, here's why exactly, Yes, yes, yes,
I love spontaneity and just like throwing some crap in
a bag and taking off love that, right, But I
got to tell you the joy and I think I'm
gonna you're gonna feel me on this one. So the
joy I get from being able to meticulously plan a trip, Yeah,
(11:23):
where we're gonna go, what are the spots? It gives
such pleasure to my organizer perfectionists.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Yes, especially when it really works. Because one of the
things I've learned is if the if the trip is
truly spontaneous and works out like one of those nights
that you know happens in New York, when you just
have no idea where it's going and every spot is
the best spot, then it's so fun. But now, having
(11:54):
having grown into the adult who does like to be organized,
I know if if a day doesn't maximize its full
potential on a trip, and I hate that because I'm like,
this is dam I'm never going to get back.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
So there's something about doing the work up front and
then the trip is just amazing. The work is not
the easiest thing for me ahead of time, but man,
when I've done it right, I'm like, I get it,
I get it. I get what a travel agent is
a thing, Like I get I understand why there are
(12:26):
people who've made careers out of doing this, because when
it's done right, it's incomparable.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, if it's done right, like I enjoy a planned
vacation if I'm not the one that has to plan it.
If I can show up and it feels spontaneous to me,
and I can choose whether or not to participate in
the various activities or whatever, but there is a plan
in place. I love that. Oh that's great, But yeah,
I don't. That's funny Rob that you actually enjoy the
(12:54):
process of making the plans.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Yeah. For our honeymoon, I asked Jenny. She's not a
big fantasy prizes, and I was like, Hey, how about
are you okay with let's just pick together the places
we want to go. We went to Thailand and then
are you okay with just like bowing out and letting
me do all of the organizing? And she was like yeah,
And oh my gosh, I loved it because like I
just geeked out and like, which is the best resort,
(13:19):
what amenities do they have? This? That, and the other was.
By the time we left, I was like, this trip
is going to be stupid cozy?
Speaker 2 (13:27):
What about teenage Dream that's a cute one.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
What was let's just say, what is your favorite teen
drama you've ever watched? Oh?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Man, well, we didn't ever watch One Tree Hill. That's
why we're doing this now, so I can't say our show.
What about teen dramas? I mean, I loved Dawson's Creek
when I was growing up. That was. That was. I
don't think I saw many others name some others.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
What Etholicity loved?
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Oh Felicity.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Yes, Saved by the Bell doesn't count, does it? Maybe
the one episode where Jesse gets hooked on caffeine pills
is a drama, but the rest of it's pretty late.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Do you like?
Speaker 3 (14:07):
Saved by the Bell? Was that sitcom? Sitcom? It was
so kind of a comedy. But it's a coming of
age show, So I feel like the tracks there.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Was like Charmed, there was like oh, Gilmore girls, Now
I'm going to stick. Felicity's a great answer. Actually, I
think that'll thank you. I'll hang with you over there.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
I'm gonna go Dawson's Creek that was. I remember, this
is so embarrassing. I remember there was a scene where
Joshua Jackson's character Pacey slept with his teacher. Yeah, and
I was like, my high school mind was blown. And
I don't know why I thought this was a funny
or cool idea. I got a white shirt and I
(14:46):
wrote on it in big sharpie I am pacey and
I want to school.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Were you in love with one of your teachers at
the time or something?
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Nope? Also mind you deeply virgin. I mean I graduated
a version, so I don't know what sort of design
or goal. I don't even know what the angle was.
I think I was just so moved by that happening
in the episode. I was like, I gotta, I gotta
get on this ride somehow.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
You're like, some guys just really have game.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Okay, yeah, wow, Well, thanks friends.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
